1. Those were really nice, but I agree with agatio. Just a tad bit of shading would do nicely.
2. This is slightly unfinished and I haven't completely CGed it,or shaded, but tell me what you think, plz. It's a drawing of a friend of mine, and I'm interested in the response to the style.
3. Sad, isn't it? The logic, if there is any, that revolves around the minds of these people are as twisted as their morals.
4. Uh huh. It was a powderpuff football game, and technically they didn't pay for it, just alcohol. My goodness, they split a girl's head open, and crammed feces into their mouths.
5. Personally, I think they have REALLY long words because they ran out of permutations of letters and accents and had to make something up. It took me forever to figure out turgid meant bloated.
6. It's not that I especially loved it that Vash had to be tortured like that, but when Legato died, there was a man who didn't fear death. He even seemed to be looking forward to it, and didn't care if he lived or died. He only had one wish, and if he could accoplish it with his death, he was at peace.
7. A plot that deals with a real world myth, and is so complex, you can't tell what's going to happen. Good animation's always a plus, too. Yeah, a bit of humor and romance, but nothing so apparent it sticks out like an e-flat in a g major scale. Dark stuff... good...
8. Oh my gosh, I LOVE Cowboy Bebop. I grew up playing the violin since I was four, and I love playing jazz, so of course I was interested in the series. And when I saw it... Did you notice a lot of shows don't have background music anymore? *pouts* Yeah, Faye can get on your nerves, but it's mostly only a cover-up.

Trigun

Um, there's an episode where Rem's last living descendant was killed by Knives. It's when Vash gets his left arm shot off. So, I don't think Millie and Meryl are her descendants. Reincarnations... I'm not sure. I don't think Rem could be reincarnated, since she was killed in space, and maybe the atmosphere (they have to breathe, right?)is a barrier souls DON'T want to fight through. I have no idea.
10. My fav characters tend to be people with troubling pasts, or are outcasts, or are fighting even if they don't believe in hurting people. Vash (Trigun): He's a doofus who really knows how to sling a gun. End of story. Wolfwood (Trigun): He's a priest with no scruples about shooting anyone, and his eyes are drawn to the perfect slim-ness of a troubled, lonely, and serious man. Sesshoumaru (Inuyasha): Cool, confident, and poised; wickedly composed no matter what happens, except the fact that Inuyasha finally figured out the wind scar. I'm just absolutely in love with him. Shippo (Inuyasha): He's so cute for a little guy! Trowa Barton (Gundam Wing): Did you READ the manga? He's worse off than Heero, since he first had emotions, but forced himself to repress them. He's also very agile, and is the perfect spy, even semi-beating up the other pilots to achieve his goal. Ed (Cowboy Bebop): Come on, a twelve year old who can hack like that? She was awesome in Mushroom Samba, even though it's hilariously so. Shinji (Evangelion): He doesn't want to, but he's forced to. In the end, he risks everything. Eagle (Magic Knight Rayearth): He's so calm, and risks everything for his goal, even though it's a selfish one. Zagato (Magic Knight Rayearth): He's so calm, even when dying. The Magic Knights blamed everything on him, but he was just trying to keep the person he loved from suicide... sort of. Aoshi (Rurouni Kenshin): He's so quiet and mysterious.
11. I drew my way into anime. Didn't know what it was called, but I liked the style. Then someone got me hooked into watching it... Oh, and I don't think they'll have Evangelion on adult swim. They had to edit several episodes of Cowboy Bebop, and that was just all the blood gushing out of a guy's jugular vein. Still, one hopes they will. I can't believe they restarted Trigun again, too. These theme songs are SO going to be stuck in my head the rest of the year.
12. I don't think cartoonnetwork, if that's the channel you watch, has the second season. There's a WHOLE lot more shows after Koga kidnaps Kagome, I think, but they keep going back. *waaaaah* It gets aggravating after awhile, because Sango seems to fall for Miroku later, but everytime they have a romantic moment, Miroku messes it up. *snicker*
13. I wouldn't want to be a mutant. Look at the prejudism in our society. Perhaps befriend one, but I think I'd blow up half the world if teased and taunted into an extensively large temper tantrum. 'Sides, human curiousity would probably be the same with a talking cat as well as a mutant. They'd freak, hunt you down, then drill a hole in your head to figure out how you can do it.
14. I heard that they interviewed this one girl, and she said, "I don't see why everyone's so worked up, I mean, it's not like she was DEAD or anything. She JUST had her HEAD split open." Anyway, does alcohol take away humanity and morality? I hope not. I always knew football was a devious and deadly sport. (I'm anti-sports) Why isn't anyone teaching their kids logic anymore? Common sense? At least the consequences for their actions, if they can't spark remorse or morals?
15. Oh man, the finals are KILLING me slowly, though not softly. I'm a freshman and JUST got the Algebra II book two days ago, and I' trying to test out of it in ... nine days. In other words, I've gotta learn the whole thing in nine days. AP? Nah, not yet. They won't let freshman take those at this school. They only allow up to three weighted/honors classes, too. *rant*
16. Ethereal. It means ghostly, spectral. Of another world. Ether, meaning air or the heavens, and real meaning, well, real. Unnatural. ^-^ Yeah, there are words that trip me up too. Can't think of one right now... But that's because I haven't taken the words apart to discover the roots.
17. My feet are drenched, the puddle deep, Oh God, I fear The dreaded sleep. The dark light, The short eternity, The wind that pulls My soul's journey It hurts, the pain The twisting grasp Of death, of life, Of this meaningless task. The tunnel is long, It will not end The light is gone No more hope to send Death is waiting My soul is pulled, Apart, I fear.
18. Your found poem is moving, and others are able to relate. It's great. There's this site, www.fanfiction.net, and her sister site, www.fictionpress.net, where you can post stuff, recieve reviews, and critique others. Registration is free, unless you want all the other nifty options. fanfiction.net is for fanfictions, and fictionpress.net is for originals. Lots of people visit these sites to see what new stories/poems/songs/manga plots are in the making, and are willing to review stuff. Check it out, if you wish.
19. Try to think up of something not done, something TRULY original, that doesn't have anything to do with shooting & sacrificing people out into space. I will commend you. Most of what you'll think up is probably a permutation and combination of other societies and economic structures.
20. Maybe whoever's suing will just have to have quadruple bypass surgery, or have a heart attack or something. Maybe there'll be complicaations, and they'll just croak. It's like they think the company's tying them down and force-feeding them oreo cookies. I swear.
21. I must say, as entertaining as this discussion is, why is someone actually vouching for a "controlled anarchy?" If it's controlled, it's not an anarchy. True, the US doesn't have a true democracy, but still,I mean at least we've got SOME say in the government, and it's not like we didn't have Congress vote to make Bush head of the military for a short period of time during the Iraq incident. Personally, I think the economic standings of the US is due to the fact that US citizens are freaking out and refuse to spend their money for fear that our economy will plummet. Problem with that is that the economy will plummet UNLESS we spend our money. *sigh* The country seemingly is becomming less informed and more paranoid. By the way, you know Argentina doesn't have a steady government, and they have elections, on the average, every two weeks, right?
22. Hey, look who's talking. "and then using then in a..." Don't take offense, it's like one in the morning here, and I'm stuck in a freezing cold basement so my parents won't know I'm up. Why do schools give those medals and things? They're useless, and will hardly go on your college resume (ah, ah, accent aigou! My French teacher'd kill me if she found out I left the accent out.). And who cares about "accomplishments?" What IS an accomplishment than what satisfies the mind?
23. Ah, suing. Yes, the favorite American past time. What is wrong with these people??? This is as stupid as suing Mcdonalds for "manufacturing very good quality toys." Don't you really know what's in everything you eat? Gee, could the info be on the little thing labelled NUTRITION FACTS??? What IS the US coming to? (About suing Mcdonalds, who would eat that stuff anyway? Don't people know what's in it? They feed the cows, herbivores, euthanized, and ground up, animals. They "accidentally" carve in bits of cow spinal chord. Ugh, and the grease... Don't even GET me started on Taco Bell.)
24. I may be a girl with romantic tendencies, but a kiss...? How long have you been dating is the main question, and how she feels. Just don't pull it on her out of nowhere. Trust me on that one, 'cause the guy who suddenly kissed my friend hasn't been walking straight for a week.
25. quote Transtic Nerve- "And George Bush is in office because American morons voted him in there. He's no tin there because he has money, although I'm sure that got him some votes, but if Americans weren't as dumb as Bush, he wouldn't be in office. He simply relates very well with most Americans. lol." Oh, thanks. My 4.5 GPA just took a crushing blow on that. What? Someone's considering Anarchy? In the words of philosopher Locke, "Life without government would be brutish, hard, and short." Sheesh. Still, I wouldn't have Gore or Nader in the position, as much as I dislike Bush. Hey, the election, to me, was a no win situation. Then and again, I'm a high school freshman without much hope for the sanity of our (US) country. You should see the senior in my government class. *sigh* By the way, capitalism is the belief in free market, or an economic standard. I don't think it's supposed to be a governmental type, so basically the whole conversation is off topic with word misusage. (Capitalism as a substitute for democracy). Frankly, I'd prefer calling the US a Democratic Federal Republic, but that's just me.^-^ Klin
