1.
He was dressed in black leather, and his hair was spiked. James merely winked and pushed Blaster fully into the room with the end of the modrod. 'How's it goin?'
Ah, the joys of being a school girl. Your stories are really getting intense in that magnetically good way. I think it's great how you can turn web/otaku jargon and relate it into real-life. I think that vaguely made perfect sense ^^"
  2.
The wealth of knowledge...
*chuckles* you are so loving this. You don't have to actually ask the girl out out. You could just ask her to hangout, and then if you find that just hanging out and doing stuff eg. lunch is actually enjoyable and not so awkward you could trip over the atmosphere.. then you could work your way into the dating category. Mmm.. no you wouldn't generally get roses unless you were an item, the symbolism behind it is much too inflexible. Although any other flowers are good I suppose. Not carnations though, they're a mother's day flower.. or in fact, just ask the florist ^^" A sly way to find out what chocolates she likes, other than working it into the conversation straiht out is to offer her some chocolate you're eating.. then ask her what kind she likes, heh. That could work. I should try that.
  3.
'But sir...' Alan pulled the trigger. The cashier's head splattered against the wall, then dissolved into a mass of 1s and 0s.
ARgh!! The humanity!! My eyes are burning asunder with violence!! Although I feel I must question you one thing. There are cashier's in the otakuboards? Now I'm starting to get hooked on the story though ^_^
'Figures,' Alan thought, taking a long draw from the cigarette. 'Fucking n00bs.'
Smoking is bad for your health.
  4. Yea, what Godelsensei said ^_^ And if you can figure out which chocolates she prefers you'll score some really major points. Eg, I like the normal guylian belgian chocolates and maltesers. If someone should buy me either of those I'll be quite smitten with them for the rest of the day. A good start is making the other person laugh, not with cheesy jokes or acting out right embarassingly stupid but I think a few well placed dry (or damp or however your humour works) comments about the immediate situation works. We often remember people who make us laugh right? I just hope this doesn't end up like the last advice for relationship thread x^D
  5. Certainly conflict of interest would be the greates, considering a 14yr old is still just coming out of intermediate and it would make you wonder how on earth that person can relate to an adult on a romantic level who is practically twice their own age. There's also physical maturity, a teenager doesn't really stop puberty until quite a long time after 14 depending when you start.
Now I have a few questions. What would you do in a similar situation. Some bimbo or bimbette is making passes at your man or vice-versa
I would do nothing. Why? Because it did happen and I did nothing and despite the torture of watching the "bimbo" (my "friend") throw herself at him, I still did nothing. Now it's ended, both the relationship and most of the friendship. I suppose the good thing that came out of this was that I haven't ended up bitter like one or two of my friends, just much more cynical than before. But it doesn't matter now. I believe I was too young, being 16 to really handle a proper relationship with an 18yr old. Next time I'll know better to just deck her no problem. Btw, you forgot to use question marks again : / I suppose I get why you don't ask about a lady's age, however it's becoming rather out-dated with the ever-moderning society.

    Pok
And I think they should stick with the real-time factor. Crystal Version's what got me into Pokemon in the first place, because the game was so damn fun, and the real-time element gave it a sense of well, time, lol, and gave it more of a sprawling-world feel.[/color']
"Sprawling" is one way to put it. But I disagree, the real-time factor completely drove me crazy. Aside from me stupidly not knowing whether or not it was daylights saving yet thus causing my game to be out of sync by an hour for half the year, it just annoyed me so much. You'd find me playing at 2am for more stupid reasons and then there were some pokemon events that were so time sensitive if you missed it first time round you'd have to wait an entire week for it to happen again. Like capturing Lapras.. probably took me two weeks to get it right 0_o It only appeared for a few hours during a certain day, and to make things worse, it was such a weak pokemon to use ;-; Admittedly I'm a poor sucker for the pokemon series, the only reason I ever started buying any game boys was just for the pokemon geams ^^" I highly doubt they'd push the franchise as far as to force people to trade between five games. Afterall they did cut it off last time and made Ruby/Sapphire completely independent of the original series, probably mostly due to the hard ware compatability. This being from a 2D game to a really fancy shmpants 3D one. Then to the DS is another rather large jump with the dual screen. Collosseum would appear to be no more than having 'bonus' pokemon. Technically you could still capture all the 200 pokemon between Ruby/Sapphire. I don't know about Leaf/Fire since I found myself completely guttered it was only revamps of the original, meaning I didn't buy it nor cared to do much research.
  7.
If you are really daring you could tie some miseltoe to your belt and carry around a step ladder...
I couldn't help but giggle helplessly in a silly girlish manner at the possible dangers and just possibilities of that x^D Thanks Altron, that is one more reason than I needed to get me some cuties *shudder* I can't actually think of any good ideas, I think I'll steal the hat idea someone else had. Or if you're silly and like me you could use a wooden sword (wooden because I practice with it) and stick the mistletoe on the end and hope you don't poke the person's eye out when you wave it over their head. Although generally most people tend to run away screaming in terror if you hold something that symbolizes a weapon that induces physical injuries in bad horror movies. -_- maybe I'll try a badminton racket. Maybe I'll just steal the hat idea.
  8. ^__^ very likeable. I remember hearing about that guy on My O, there were some pretty annoyed people to do with that. Is this going to feature well know My O members? Anyway, if you're sure they get better then I think I'll check back regularly. So far, so amusing.
  9. Hmm.. I don't mean to use an Australian stereotype but it just occured. You could use one of those "stereotypical" hat with corks but replace it with mistletoe!! It's absolutely stupid!! Ah.. the Gavyns' are so foxy-sly ^_^ I wish people around here were into mistletoe : / Girls are allowed to use sneaky mistletoe manuveures aren't they?
  10. [Sequel? What sequel? *feels stupid*.. you're so poopie confusing me like that. I have no idea who on earth the Postless Banner was, but the name was funny x^D aside from that it was funny. Yes. Funny. Also funny I should recognize most of the names. Funny.
  11.
If the souls can't absorb enough heat, and the heat grows to a less torturous temperature, an endothermic reaction would be required to re-equilibrate the temperature.
The heat wouldn't become 'less torturous' unless the souls could became acclimated to it and last I checked hot things don't feel less hot unless your nerves were burnt off. And if you took chemistry you would understand what I had meant by an equilibrium reaction where the reaction reaches a mid-point where no heat is absorbed nor lost because the reactants and products are in a state of static equilibrium. The only way to create an exothermic reaction is to put it under certain conditions such as adding more of one product/or reactant or pressure or by adding heat/cooling the system. So perhaps you're using the incorrect term in this instance..?
The endothermic reaction would not be the reverse of the combustion of a hydrocarbon. It would simply be a different reaction that requires energy to proceed.
Exothermic and endothermic are interrelated. The opposite or heat loss (exothermic) is heat absorption (endothermic)
  12.
Therefore, I would say that hell consists of an exothermic reaction in balance with an endothermic reaction to produce the heat required to keep the souls of the damned toasty and not charred. [/font']
You're saying Hell is an equilibrium reaction, why? Assuming it is meant to be a 'boiling' hot place it doesn't neccessarilly need an endothermic reaction to create heat. Afterall, like you said, the heat goes to the souls in order to inflict the feeling of burning pain, thus the souls are endothermic, not hell. If that were so then where's the endothermic reaction in a combustion reaction of say, carbon in oxygen? Heat is created, you can not reverse it and force it into an endothermic reaction because it's not an equilibrium reaction. Heat loss doesn't mean there is an endothermic reaction. Besides, in hell they probably have a giant fire place and small rooms and all the logged trees that died go there to make the place so freaky hot ^_~ Btw, the mods will decided if what's being said is spam. Saying that hell may not neccessarily follow our rules of physics sounds reasonable. We're talking about a religliously conceptual idea, not a fact.
  13. As a student who is close to failing Physics however does well in Chemistry (This is a typical chemistry question) I would say it was exothermic. If it were endothermic, that would make hell contrary to the popular belief that it is a sauna and rather would make it a cold place, much like Antarctica. Hell is suppose to be hot isn't it?
  14.
But sometimes one thinks they want to relax when they actually wanna get out of where they are. Do I make sense or is this a rant? :^(
Your rant is too short to be much of a rant. However isn't it rather similar? If you feel trapped, you're stressed. Unless you mean that you simply need to, say, get out of the house for some fresh air because you've been in there for 5 days straight and have forgotten what it was like to actually feel your skin cook as you stand beneath the sun..? Hm. Or perhaps like how I severly dislike riding on buses. However I have to ride them. So I sit in one extremely 'I want out' for the full half-hour ride then feel incredibly 'stressed' and irritable afterwards : / Btw, absolutely gorgeous Christmasy red outfit you have DW ; )
  15. What is with everyone and bad habits? Hmm.. I haven't really noticed any particular 'bad habits' I have. Perhaps it's going online too much. Or a tendency to 'manipulating' people into doing small favours for me : / I don't think it's such a bad habit. Why do something yourself if someone else is more willing? Oh well..
I'm extremely sarcastic[/SIZE']
As a fellow speaker of Sarcastish I don't believe it's a bad habit. Sure I might say something genuinely and my friend was absolutely sure I said it sarcastically (usually in reference to giving them a compliment) but that's not my fault.. Fine it is my fault. Just don't tell girls that they're gorgeous or charming or something similar in a sarcastic tone. I think they take it the wrong way ^^"
  16. Good point. But aren't there already certain restrictions placed on the signature size? It gets to be a pain for me though, I still use a dial-up connection.. takes waaaay too long to load the really full on signature 0_o Maybe I should turn it off, although it's half the fun.
  17. Hmm.. unfortunately I still haven't found a truly effective way to relax at all. I often and do play the piano/violin or draw or Tai Chi Sword (at least what I can remember of it) or watch tv or go online or I could go on. Usually it boils down to me pacing agitatedly then sitting in my room in a funked mood. I think I need a de-stressor.
  18.
And besides, what do you do after you kill Kennedy? I can't see much replay value, which may account for it's budget price.
Reply value lies in the fact that if you 'perfect' your shots then you will be in the running to win the grand prize of $100,000. Now considering you pay less than $10 for the game but have the potential to win the money, it somewhat ruins the educational concept to the game. Just a tad. It becomes a competition to see who is the better shot. But yea, who could possibly shoot straight with frame-rate like that? As for it's educational value, it's hardly realistic.. like ScirosDB said, it is seriously lacking in realism. Where's the crowds of joyous on-lookers? Shouldn't people be screaming in horror in the clip I saw on tv where the SS agent was hit by accident? Regardless of what people think, it is still going to make a lot of money whether it be for the play value or for the grand prize.
  19. Argh! I spent over an hour with this window open trying to read it but couldn't because people kept talking to me then you had to go and do this!! Why? It's so short!! Nobuhiro sounds really quite sweet though. If you don't wear underwear I'll just assume you wear lingerie ^^"
  20. : / I got lost reading the n00b writing. I think I know where you've been getting some of your character inspiration *chuckle* As for taking over the boards.. I don't remember being against is : P
  21.
-If your boyfriend has specifically said that he wouldn't be having sex with anyone except for yourself then in that case, you should be mad at him. But if he says that he will have relations with other women and you agree with that (not like it is your choice whether he has the right to or not - which is a completely different topic) then you CAN[/I'] be mad at him but it isn't really justified.
Why should I be mad if my hypothetical boyfriend was demonstrating faithfulness by assuring me that he did not feel nor want to sleep with someone else? Why? Oh please, explain that to me. I'm so lost. Really.
***To all readers of this thread, the above is a perfect example of how women tend react to these lessons. They call it mean, or unjust. Women (not all, but most) are usually just using men (not all, but most) for a free dinner. I bet you've all heard (or even been in) a relationship where the women was in complete control, walking all over the man, making him do her things, making him buy her stuff, etc etc.
You're so right. I use my guys. I take advantage. Free movies, dinner, lunches.. hey even hundreds of dollars worth of electronic equipment (who needs jewellery?) and I'm only 17. So young, and already I know how to manipulate them by getting a lot for giving very little.
These lessons will help you move away from these kinds of actions and become better in relationships.
Noted.
  22. Suddenly everyone is fascinated with what you're about to do with your characters. Crazy white chick? Hehehehe, cracks me up. I'm sure you're going to have a really really clever solution to all this. And yes, what kind of underwear is Godel wearing? Hmm?
  23.
You know what's funny? My psychological profile indicates that Id' answer 'yes'. But I won't, and this is a rather horrifying question to ask.
It would be funny if I knew what you meant by your psychological profile. In what way does your profile match up with that of a homocidal maniac? This was a question I didn't expect to see, nor was I going to reply but DB there got me intrigued with his psychological profile. Indeed to answer the question.. if I could get away with it in combination with a really terrifying bad mood where hell has just gouged out my eyeballs, stuck them where the sun don't shine and chucked me into a pool of hydrocholric aci.. most likely yes. Aside from that I can't think of anyone I hate. I must have no life : /
  24.
Maybe a way to attract the attention of the fairer sex (many of whom consider the term "chicks" derogatory) is to treat them as unique and interesting individuals who aren't so simple they can be won by a formula. And if you look nice and dress nice, then you're going to look better to most people, regardless of gender.
Thank you for saying that. Undoubtedly it works both ways. And I think to Siren although I'm not in a proper state of mind to decipher his wordy post, but I think he was basically saying you can't write a formula for something that can not be represented by numbers. I just think people will be more comfortable around you if you feel comfortable with yourself.
  25.
Secondly, she might be available as long as she is ok with dating two guys at once (until she decides to stick with the one she likes more...). Not all girls go steady exclusively.
Wouldn't that suggest that she's a fickle and non-commited person? But in all honesty, you act one way you'll get the attention of certain 'kinds of chicks' and if you at another way you'll get the attention of other 'kinds of chicks'. And vice versa for the females. Why on earth am I referring females to being a 'chick'? It's beginning to feel a tad derogatory -_- And yes, I was being sarcastic before. Thanks for pointing it out.
