1. That was quite cool, the centre looks like an eye... If that was what you were intending it's a little hard to see. 9/10
2. I don't have an XBox, but for the PC my next game will probably be Codename:Eagle or NeverWinter Nights. If it comes out soon, I shall be getting Counter Strike: Condition Zero.
3. Hard to explain, I actually lost the filter that I used on it originally, and now I can't recreate it... :( I do have the original image though, here it is: (I made this as well by the way, then I edited it)
4. I got the inspiration for my sig for when my keyboard was mysteriously disconnected from my computer and it told me: "Keyboard Error, Keyboard not connected, press any key to continue." How can I press a key if it's not connected?! Blasted Bill Gates, lol. I used flash to make my sig pic, 128 frames, really easy to do...
5. Hate to sound nasty, but if the Dragon did bring back the Earth etc. It obviously proves that it was within his power...
6. 3 Strong Points. 1)Dedicated 2)Strong Willed 3)Intelligent 3 bad points: 1)Terrible temprement (not here I don't, I keep calm and cool *eye twitch* lol) 2)Get too serious about games (all types, as in computer and real life) 3)Terrible with girls. I get all nervous...
7. Normally I do DBZ banners and such, this is my first "original" piece of banner "art". Please rate. I suppose you could also rate the 120 frame gif animation in my sig, I would be most appreciative.
8. Mr.T is a definate Barret, he fits the part perfectly, they pretty much speak the same way albeit, FF7 only has text, but you must catch my drift... :D They're almost the same size and build as well.
9. I think sex in video games would be ok, to a certain extent. As long as it wasn't there for the sake of it, if it was part of the storyline. DOA:Xtreme Beach VolleyBall is a bit of a mindless affair in my opinion, DOA sold bucketloads due to both it's sex appeal and gameplay. I do agree that the games industry has matured, but only slightly. I think games don't just target particular age ranges any more. Even games deemed kiddy are played by adults. Look at whats happening with Super Mario Sunshine, some games magazines have been unable to complete it after 12 hour game sessions. Games such as Resident Evil I don't think are targeted at adults, they provide a fair amount of horror to any age group. Nowadays children have seen all kinds of movies and TV shows incorperating violence and sex, (this is happening a lot in Britain, the watershed barely exists anymore) so they are used to the more "adult" games on todays market. I doubt sex in video games will ever reach a distasteful level, games only about sex have been released in the past, and have sold poorly and dismissed by critics everywhere.
10. The DC was really the first console to run an OS, so I'm not surprised that it was hacked faster, but one of the XBoxs' big points is it's online functions, since broadband will be the only option available, (this is in the UK, I'm not sure if there's narrowband available in the US) it makes it far easier to hack into.
11. It seems that the gaming world has found XBoxs' fatal flaw, hackers. A number of teenage hackers in America have managed to do things such as prevent an XBox from loading properly, and play pirate games and music. They have also enabled it to play N64 and Playstation games, simply by some minor hacking into the OS. One kid has claimed to have different OS systems running on an XBox. Could this spell the downfall of XBox's online service? Personally, I think that if after barely a year onto the market the XBox has been hacked into, it could spell the end, or many expensive patch releases..
12. OK, I think I've expressed my views on this whole 9/11 thing, but I'll go again.. This "protection" from similar airborne attacks is anti aircraft guns set up on important buildings, I mean, if anything similar to 9/11 happens, 240 innocent passengers will be sacrificed to prevent more people dieing on the ground. If a plane was to target a building, it would be shot down by anti aircraft guns, this has been said by the American army etc. I don't G.I Joe being shown on CN again is any form of trying to feed off peoples patriotism, it's just been re-released on video/DVD along with Transformers, it's probably a hope to boost sales.
13. At the moment, I'm far more interested in the remake of the orginal version of Resident Evil. Personally, I don't think that Resident Evil 3 and beyond really did anything to push the envelope and enhance the series in any way. Resident Evil 1 and 2 had a great atmosphere, while RE3 was a tad too easy and predictable. RE Zero looks like it could "revive" the series, the fact that you're stuck on a cramped train, surrounded by Zombies. Especially the new gameplay features, such as not having to trudge through half the area to get to a crate, only to grab some healing herbs or ammo. Switching between characters at the touch of a button sounds good, since you will be able to fight on 2 fronts if so required. I have seen that you can give the character you are not currently controlling a handful of "orders", such as hold back due to them being injured.
14. I quite like it, I agree that the background is a little empty, but it's still a good background... Nice fading text too.. Give me Paint Shop Pro! PLLLEASE!
15. My Username is the name of a website network I used to run waaaaay back on v2, but because I felt that I made a good few friends back then I decided to keep the name, since I didn't want to not be recognised, although I don't only like DBZ. Uh, in my sig I just have banners that I make and mostly stick up for rating in the artwork/graphic design forum, and the poem in my sig is one of my all time favourites, about the D-Day landings in World War 2. I don't have a custom avatar yet, I will soon though :D.
16. I like it, very much, especially the font in the middle, if it is a font that is... How in the world do you do that cutout thing on the side? That completely baffles me..
17. Ahem, I live in England, we only just started getting games for the commondore 64, lol. (a joke, don't use this opportunity to laugh, please) England is notorious for getting games very late indeed, which is sad since there are an enormous amount of gamers here.
18. You guys are worried about August 26th? I was hoping that Nintendo would do their worldwide simultaneous release with Sunshine, like what was originally planned for the Gamecube. If this isn't happening, I think I may have to put Mario Sunshine on my Christmas list...

Reading

I recently read Of Mice and Men and I thought it was excellent, I would reccomend it to anyone. I read games magazines all the time, but reading a good book is a completely different experience to a magazine.
20. I do hope it is harder, as I agree, recent games have been getting easier in some aspects. Still, I doubt it would be unbelieveably hard, but hopefully Nintendo will make it tougher than Mario 64. As a hardcore gamer, if Sunshine was hard I would find myself coming back to it again and again, purely for the challenge that it would provide.
21. I didn't like Raiden for the pure fact that it took out the mystery of Snakes character. Sure, his real name and so forth was revealed at the end of the last game, but it would have been even better to play through as Snake, suddenly "appearing from the dead". On another note, just to clear things up (unless this has been said) Hideo Kojima has confirmed that he is certainly not going to make another Metal Gear Solid game. If another is produced, he will be leaving it in the hands of another director in Konami. :(

Reading

I never used to like reading, but recently I have read more and more. I am a big fan of Terry Pratchett, I like his writing style and his wild imagination. One of my favourite books was To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, great book. I love to write, I am currently writing a story based on the Project Silence RPG that fell through in the Adventure forum. I'm about 28 pages through...
23. A couple of weeks ago I was actually looking at a number of studies about video games, they almost all came to the conclusion that games were good for you. It was shown that children and adults displayed improved reflexes, and mental abilities for problem solving (e.g a hard maths question or puzzle) had greatly improved. I play games quite a bit, and I have not found it to effect me in any way, I still get good grades in school, although I do have a terrible temper, it is not caused by games. Sometimes it is good to come home and take out your anger on a game, e.g Tekken.

Nwn

I saw some in-game footage and some screenshots for Neverwinter Nights and it looks really good, although top of my list at the moment is definetly Warcraft 3, I shall certainly be purchasing NwN soon..
25. I find it hard to hold back the tears of laughter when I see the cat in the bottom right hand corner.... Nice background though, 9/10 for originality...
