I've never really been in a long distance relationship but I met a girl whilst I was in Ireland and I had to wait an entire year to see her again, now I have to wait another year to see her again. It's a horrible wait, but in the end it's well worth it :)

I've seen a lot of things like this, used for tricking the mind and the eye. These are the kind of things that psychiatrists use to prove you're crazy...

I am very excited about Super Mario Sunshine, it looks like it's going to be another Nintendo classic. The in-game footage I've seen looks amazing, very smooth and slick, showing that the GC can certainly pull it's weight in the graphics division. From what I've heard there's a lot more adventuring/exploration going on in this incarnation of Mario, which sounds very exciting indeed. Especially with the new Water Pack, which adds a nice fresh touch to the formula.

Toriyama did help a little with GT, but he did write all of DB and DBZ (and he drew, but not the entire series).

I still say murder is a little far, but I agree with Piromunkie. The kid must have been very depressed having no friends. I get depressed when I fall out with just one of my friends, and I have friends to fall back on when I get in trouble etc, the Korean kid didn't.

Movie 12 was really good, although I didn't like it as much as I liked 13. Like Transtic said, Hildegarn is in movie 13, and Janemba is both the big yellow guy and the thinnner red guy. I think Janemba transformed from the big to small because Gokou was beating him up instead of playing, so Janemba decided to get serious.
Originally posted by James And then there are beaches which directly face the ocean -- in the middle of winter, you can sit on the sand and just watch these enormous waves crash against the shore right infront of you.
You could do that in England, if you had someone standing next to you with a flamethrower to thaw you out. Plenty of beaches in England, it being an island, but they're mostly scuzzy and polluted..

If you could be eneyone on Otaku Boards, who would you be?
Red replied to anime goddess's topic in General Discussion
Sounds old, but I would be Desert Shadow, purely for the fact that he's the one who helped me around v2 in the first place, and he's a really good artist. Alas, he isn't around any more, so I would be Seph. SUSHI!!! -
I suppose it's a Canadian company working in England, they're called AB productions or something like that. Have any other movies past movie 4 been shown in the US?
-
Whichever way they do it it'll be better than the first live action DBZ movie, which was more like a comedy than an action movie.

LOL! I doubt that pleased them.... So, in a sense we can all be glad that they did it, as we have new and improved boards? It's funny how some things work out...

What the astronauts of Apollo 11 REALLY found on the moon....
Red replied to Fall's topic in General Discussion
Edam or Cheddar? I saw when the American flag was waving for no reason, some people say the "landing" was filmed in the Nevada desert.... -
In answer to your question ProudClod, someone picking up the phone and starting to make a call will give you a connection problem on the game, regardless of the console you play it on. Obviously this doesn't happen on Broadband, it only happens on dial-up modems. You wouldn't be completely disconnected from the game though, just temporarily out of it whilst the modem caught up. It used to happen when I played PSO on the DreamCast.

What the astronauts of Apollo 11 REALLY found on the moon....
Red replied to Fall's topic in General Discussion
I have seen programs/read articles about the moon landing being faked, and they put up a very good argument. For example, on the videos of the apollo 11 landing, there are no stars in the "sky" as they come in to land on the moon. I could agree with what you put up SS, but I would need to see proof to believe in it. However, it's still interesting. -
If you live in the UK and you watch Dragonball Z: The Canadian actors were brought in and they have been doing the voices/sound effects/music for the series since the episode after Trunks warned Goku of the androids and they have done a poor job of it... If CN do allow them to do the movies I will be very dissappointed, as I'm sure a lot of you will be..

It's good to have more people posting on the boards, before I felt as if the amount of people posting was decreasing, which made me quite sad... One person I never see post anymore is Desert Shadow, I miss that guy...

Xian felt Blairs presence, not knowing exactly what it was he was feeling, or how it found out where he was. He awoke and tried to sit up, suddenly being struck by a sharp pain in his shoulder, he fell to the floor in agony. Xian: Ah MAN! That guy must of really got me, I gotta heal it quickly, before whatever the hell's coming reaches me.. Xian held his hand high above the bloody shoulder, sweat beading down his forehead, he quickly healed the wound, causing him to lose a significant amount of magical energy. Xian: Looks like I'm gonna have to stop using magic for a while, I'm all out of energy... Huh? That thing thats after me is mighty close, I better start moving. Xian grabbed his sword and ran as fast as he could through the forest, wondering if whatever it was behind him would catch up. As he reaches the edge of the Fardennes forest, Blair reaches the spot where Xian telepathically cried for assistance. Blair: What the? I know he was a Kagim, he must of known that I was one of his kind and that I was trying to help him. So why did he run off? He obviously needed help from me, thats why he cried out in the first place.... Blair turns around to see the still steaming bodies of 6 Silencer soldiers. He sits down, tired from all the running he did to try and reach Xian, wondering what went on.. Meanwhile, Xian walks over grassy hills on the edge of the Fardennes forest, looking for somewhere to sleep and regaain his strength....

Otakuboards has now surpassed 3,000 members, I looked yesterday and there were something like 3,017 members.... How many of them actually start posting?

Hehe, I agree with Transtic in some way... I think the actors will not suit the parts, I mean, how can you get someone to look like Vegeta hair wise? How will the SSJ stages work? But I agree with your choice for Mr Satan, Hulk Hogan... lol

OOC:This is just a quick in-between post but I thought I'd inform you that The One is having very bad computer problems and he will not be participating any further in this RPG until further notice, if anyone was going to use his post and meet him in the RPG etc. I would suggest you reconsider, as he will not be back for a while. Thanks for your time.

What I don't like about the PS2 is the pad setup, looking with an analogue stick really doesn't do it for me, mouse and keyboard is easy to use, as you can turn quicker and so forth. Also Allied assault has improved graphics (with a high spec PC of course) and better AI.... Other than that I agree with Seph, the first mission is recreated very well indeed. Please don't go into a big mouse and keyboard vs pad argument though...

Of course, but after you I don't think anyone else should be able to join. Of course I'm not trying to be rude/annoying/nasty, I just like the people who have joined now and I don't want it to get crowded. Post your stats soon Angelus..

Well he is in Starfox adventures, (thats the name of it in the UK, don't know what it is in the US) so I suppose thats why he's in melee. Plus, he was in the original SSB. I think it's a good move to let Namco work on the new Starfox game, but it took a lot of trial and error to produce a really good Ace Combat game, I hope they get it right first time around. The team that worked on the original Starfox should have been allowed to have some part in the new game, not completely dumped out. As they obviously did a good job on the N64 version of Starfox.

I don't really believe in Fathers day, Mothers day kind of things, I think they are just invented so people will buy things, especially for the card companies. So what did I get my dad I hear you scream. A CARD! What a shock. Plus my dad had the added bonus of Ireland being knocked out of the world cup, which almost made him cry..... I almost cried too...

48 pieces of mastered counter attack materia?! I understand how effective that would be but wouldn't you be better off breeding the chocobos and getting the Knights of the round materia?
