For all you fans of prank calls you should check out the comedy of Roy D. Mercer. My cousin and I a few years back. Went through the white and yellowpages pranking people with his classic calls. And if you really want to mess with somebody, call a girl or guy, depending on who you want to mess with, who a friend has a thing for. Preferably a big thing for. Pretend to be a local radio station secretary, not a DJ because that's to obvious, call about a prize giveaway. Something small like a free dinner somewhere, a hundred dollars. Nothing like "You've wont ten-thousand dollars" Because that's way to obvious. Next tell the person that they need to call "Insert friends cell/telephone number here" and just play it off like its the number to the DJ booth and say something stupid when they pick up like "I'm crazy for K95" or something like that, once again not to over the top. But something that will screw your friend, and that person up when he/she realizes it's not the radio station, or a wrong number. Then make sure you're hanging with your friend at the time the person calls and bask in the glory of a great great prank. And don't forget *67 before you call otherwise if they have caller ID (which almost everybody has) or they *69 you, your prank will be blown and you will hate me If anybody uses this, please PM me and tell me how it went. It's worked three out of three times for me, and each time It held my funny bone over for almost a week.

When is it acceptable to still be a virgin?
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Doukeshi's topic in General Discussion
I'm going to have to agree with goddess. I haven't read the entire thread due to time restraints. I feel it shouldn't matter your age. Whether your 40years old (that movies going to be hillarious by the way) or your 18 years old. I do believe lifes about chances but 15 is a little young Patronus. And the only reason I say that is though lifes about taking chances, it's also about being ready to deal with the consequences of the chances we take. And at 15 you really don't know as much about the ways of the world as you should. Now I can't say much, I lost mine when I was 16. And it was a relationship where it was together forever blah blah blood blah. Because it's almost certain that one of the two will turn. In this case it was my girlfriend at the time who turned around and left me two weeks later (There's a hit to the statistics for you). And it took me awhile to get over due to the fact that she was my first. In my opionion it should be 18-25 should be almost the perfect time. Because you've already been through heartbreaks in your life. And hopefully everyones found someone by then who they care about. Or if you haven't found that "special someone" there's always college to make up for lost time. -
It sounds to me as though Dave could just be using you as....a sort of backup incase something he see's as better could possibly come along. Or he's afraid to commit because he see's you as somewhat of a threat to his smoking. Normally people who smoke Marijuana (at least as far as the ones I've dealt with) get so accustomed to their lifestyle that the slightest change in that could make them feel threatened. Now I'm not an anti-drug person at all. I beleive a person has a right to make the decision and as long as it doesn't hurt somebody (even though it almost always does) they're entitled to make that decison. But attempting to begin a relationship with somebody who is doing marijuana especially when you were just recentally divorced is a one way ticket to getting hurt again. And though you are over Lincoln (good for you By the way) getting hurt bad twice in a row is a big kick in the dating jewels. So I would say when he calls, see how serious he is about smoking, whether he does it alot or just socially. If its more than once a week or a few times a month then its probably not worth it, and you'd be better off trying to find someone else. just my opionion,

Name: Sen-kai Age: 100,000 years Allignment: Defected from the Kingdom of hell to the kingdom of heaven after Ryan's failed takeover. Biography: Sen-kai was cast into the pits of hell after failing to protect a prophet. After a few short centuries fighting for the Dark Lord, Sen-kai was promoted to Captain status taking control of thousands of demons. After Lucifer was slain, Sen-kai saw a chance for escape and possibly forgiveness as he slipped out of the Abyss and into the Earth realm. He has been wondering the Earth realm, doing his small part, and vanquishing many of the newly arriving demons, some of whom had worked under Sen-kai just a short time before. He now looks for a way to get back into heavens great army and redeem his failure over a millenia before. Weapons: Gabriel's blade A sword forged in heaven, capable of raining holy power down onto it's enemies. Damien's dagger A long dagger forged in hell's fire, given to Sen-kai after his promotion to captains status. Well balanced so it can be thrown and magically returned when Sen-kai speaks its name. Burns to hot to hold when anyone but Sen-kai tries to hold. Abilities: Mental Strength: Sen-kai can transfer his mental energy into physical energy. Greatly increasing his speed and agility. Heaven and Hell Being a commanding officer in both armies Sen-kai can simultaneously rain down holy energy as well as conjure a blazing inferno scorching from hells fury below. Divine Blast With a few moments of concentration Sen-kai can transform his energy into a energy blast instantly killing most minor demons. The major downfall of this ability is it can takes serious concentration and can leave Sen-kai vunerable to attack. Barrier From being both Holy warrior and unholy warrior, Sen-kai can conjure a barrier that protects from most attacks, though he cannot move while the barrier is in place. Being that his abilities take so much energy from him, Sen-kai normally sticks to using the weapons he has come to love over the years for survival. Physical description: Standing at an intimidating 6'4. With short Brown hair and deap blue eyes. Sen-kai still wears the black armor he wore while in hell's service. He lost the helmet because he felt it hid his identity from the one who could return him to his old position in the kingdom of heaven.

Risk is the game of "World Domination" Its very similar to Axis and Alies But is more popular. Basically all you do is divide up different countries bewteen players, divide up a set number of units into your countries. And strategize about how to defeat the opposing armies. Theres a lot of stategy involved but really it comes down to the roll of the dice to determine the winner. I enjoyed the nightmare games...I can't remember the name of the second in the series. But it was so cool, unless you were playing with somebody who had no immagination, you got to interact (in a way) with the video "gatekeeper" who made you feel like an idiot and tried his hardest to keep everyone from winning. The game was really great the first time you played, in a dark room with the candles lit, it was a little erie. After that its basically the same thing, but the game can change depending on who you play with. B/c there is a "choosen" one and thats based on ages. Its really an all around good time. I can't beleive nobody has mentioned Chutes and ladders Now that was a great game. Though there wasn't much too it, when you were little, games of complete chance were the best. ( Trouble, monopoly, double trouble, just to name a few)

I think you could've fit all those songs into one post Jake I myself have had a few songs that have really hit me hard. I'm not going to list them because I think its starting to become almost like spamming. But I do want to make a point that songs that mean something are really becoming a thing of the past. While some artists are clinging to the old school way of letting their songs tell stories, its very much unlike the way it used to be where almost all of your songs were something meaningful to you. But right now look at artists like Britney spears or other's that top billboards. Most of their songs are just writers trying to appeal to a younger gen. that don't seem to care. It's good rap if it talks about "Killing dem %#$*&!@" "Smokin dat weed" or something like that. It's good punk music if the person singing wants to kill themselves, sounds like they want to kill themselves, sing about killing themselves, or about how their lives growing up stunk. Country is begining to go that route "Save a horse ride a cowboy" I do listen to rap, punk, country, old rock'n'roll and many others. But the way people view our society today is becoming a greater influence to songwriters, rather than how it used to be, and my opionion still should be. It should be music meant to hit your listeners, not just to fill a CD up with enough tracks to sell to mindless listeners.

I was wondering, I watched hero and throughly enjoyed it. Then from the same director(his name escapes me) comes out with House of Flying Daggers, could anybody tell me if this is worth seeing, or is this going to make me despise this director and never see another one of his movies again?

Michael Jackson: Guilty or not Guilty?
Drizzt Do'urden replied to foxfire_2008's topic in General Discussion
Thats what the lounge is for, they have other boards for anime/manga. But as far as Michael, I believed he was guilty until I heard the testimony of the accuser. One He changed his testimony twice, and besides that his family has been proven to be the sort've people that sue for no reason. Instances like the McDonald's coffee incident and so forth. So I won't say that he isn't strange, and he is a known sexual predator. I don't believe he was guilty of anything this time though (I deffinateally think coming to court in pajama's hurt his testimony though.). As far as calling him sick I will agree to an extent. But its hard to really call anyone sick anymore. The world is changing for the better, I'm not going to start a for/against homosexual debate but things are becoming increasingly socially acceptable that 10 years ago would've been deemed disguisting. -
Would anybody be interested in aiding me in coming up with a fully creative RPG? I'm talking the only guidelines would be 1.)The setting( Place, time) Thus allowing people to be fully creative in their posts whether their character becomes a god-mod. Which in the case all characters could follow suit or what not.. possibly just have a no Player killing until a certain point in ths story. Thus having really no rules whatsoever, so the "players" or RPers or whatever you'd want to call them could have complete freedom, and just have fun with it. Possibly me, or whoever would run the RPG could have a central idea, and just give pieces here to push the characters in the direction they want them to go too? I need some major helps with people's thoughts on the dos and don'ts about this.
Originally posted by ChibiHorseWoman YOu see, I was taught that when you don't know something that you're doing is wrong that it's not a sin. Inherited sin is pretty stupid. It's even worse when parents decide to tell their children that they're sinful.
The only thing I have to dispute that on, because I do not believe(or I should say don't know if I believe) in "original sin", because being a child. Now saying a year old or two is a bit extreme so lets use a four year old. Now when your four you have an inate sense of right and wrong. You know if you take a cookie before dinner when your mother isn't looking that its stealing and its wrong. You know if another kid is playing with a ball and you take that ball away from him that its wrong. Now thats just an example of stealing. You know profanity is wrong, you can tell the difference between a "good" word and a "bad" word. Though you may emulate it because your parents or someone else may say it, you still have a feeling its bad. So I do believe that children are capable of sin. I do have a question though, about the seven deadly sins. I could be wrong, but aren't the seven deadly sins a guaranteed ticket to hell???
Originally posted by Japan_86 I believe that you should not baptize your babies. I believe that you should wait till they are older and make the decision themself.
I can totally agree with that to an extent Japan_86. It once again gets back to the idea of "original sin" If your child was born and you were taught if he/she wasn't babtized he/she was going to hell. How can you honestly say you wouldn't rush to get your own child baptized, and save him/her from "the fires of hell" Addressing everyone who said people who belive in their "religon" are ignorant, I'd like to pose another question to you. If you found something, that gave you the hope that you were going to a better place a life after death. Whether its reincarnation, Heaven, being reunited with the earth/nature, or just any better place. I myself am a confirmed presbyterian...well was. I sort've feel out until I went into Basic Training, it was there that I found my religion again, but once again afterwards in Technical training I once again had a falling out. But being in today's military you understand that you could be called up anytime to go into a combat situation. And just the feeling that since I've lead a good life, I have the chance to go to heaven gives me that hope . So before you call people ignorant, just think about it. Do you really want to believe that when you die you just rot in the ground? Or would you feel better knowing that you had the chance to go somewhere that you'll live in forever peace? Also has anybody ever been to the Vadican(SP) before? I'm really interested in going there one day, I just needed some input as to it being something worth seeing.
Originally posted by Chabichou Sorry, I really felt I needed to correct this statement. Muslims believe in one God only. We believe that both Jesus and Muhammad were prophets that were sent by God to deliver his message. Muhammad is NOT like the cristian Jesus. Mohamad is human and is not to be worshipped. We simply love and respect him, and we take his actions as examples of the proper way to live our lives. We don't believe that Muhammad will return. We believe Jesus will return, and that he is the Messiah. But as we believe, Jesus is not God, or even his son. He is also human, and by God's will only he was able to preform miracles.
Don't at all be sorry, I'm actually glad you corrected me. I did not belive that Muslims belive in Jesus(in any form) as well. If your next statement about being racist and just blurting out whatever was directed towards me I did not mean any offense by it. It was just my misunderstanding. So I would like to apologize for any misunderstanding.

Though I know in today's government (Specifically the United States) cuts off our discussion about religon, but I'd like to open this thread to discuss it. Not just if its right to censor religon. But anything about religion, I've had some serious eye opening questions about christianity. So if anyone is easily offended please do not read any further. First off I'd like to ask about "original sin" a catholic belief that says everyone is born with sin. So therefore if anyone is born somewhere that doesn't know about christianity they're going toi "hell". First I'd have to ask if anyones catholic, can you tell me how god would let this happen, but I'd also like to pose a question too you. I thought about this a few nights ago, could the one we call God, possibly just be different things to different people. Muslim(sorry if I mispellsed it) have the prophet Mohammed(once again I'm not good with spellings) who is supposed to come back. Something similar to Christianities Jesus. Every religon teaches do good things to everyone, most prominent are Buddhism(SP) Christianity, and even Muslim. (except for Islamic extremists who believe be good to people of the same religon, otherwise bomb the crap out of things/people who believe otherwise). But there are major similarities between all major religons. The most similar thing being the fact that everyone should do "good" things and that person will be awarded by going to a "special" place, or if you do "evil" things then your soul will be damned somewhere. I guess I don't really have a question, but I'd just like this to be open to discussions about religion(s).

Note: If there is already a thread to discuss this game, I'd like the mod to please delete it. I'll apologize in advance if I missed it. I just really began playing Xenosaga II and as I expected
The first 40mins of the game were CG animation scenes and loads upon loads of dialouge. But aside from that the game hasn't been bad. I finally got to control Shion for the first time since I've started playing (Which she's deffinateally a hottie in the sequal like she was in the first) But I asm sort've disappointed in the fact that with the new skill system everycharacter can be the same as any other, I mean it seems like everyone could relatively be the same as KOS-MOS which will #%$$ me off.
I didn't open this thread to complain as much as open it up for people to discuss likes/dislikes as they progress through the game. So as of how far I am, the game hasn't been the great phenom I expected. But its been worth the $60.00 I paid for it( $73.00) with the Strategy guide Merged this with the original Xenosaga: Episode II thread. If you don't know whether a thread's already been made about a game or not, the search function makes it easy to find out. Especially if you do an advanced search, and search only in thread titles. - Desbreko

Gaming What do you think of the games of 2005?
Drizzt Do'urden replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Noosphere
There are actually a few games I'm really looking forward too. Legend of Zelda coming out for the GC is looking like its going to be Great. Amazing CG, I'm sure the battle system is worthy of the LOZ series, I personally think that the best zelda game so far has been LOZ: A link to the past for the SNES, but this one just may top that. Dyanasty Warriors V- The long running series has provided me with many hours of Hacking/slashing/ impaling/ and just plain killing for years. DW 4 tookd the series in a downward spiral, but if the hype is any indicator the new addition to the series is going to be great. Finally FF XII is going to be the death of my PS2, If the articles are any indication this is going to be the FF fans answer to FF VII (though in my opionion its deffinateally not the best in the series, I enjoyed FFX myself) (If anyone could tell me the deffinate date for FFXII please PM me with it) -
I really have one big question to ask about, but I'd also like to use this forum for Q&A about where games/series went. For example I have a question about the Dragon Warrior series. It was a good series for its time. The first three titles made it to the U.S.A. for the NES (though the second one was almost impossible to find) I got addicted to it back in the eighties/early nineties and then it just dropped off the face of the earth. Until a couple years ago I found Dragon Warrior 7 for the PS 1. Did the others not make it to the states, or were the creators just trying to #$%% me off?

1. Xenosaga I&II- I posted these together because you can't really have one without the other. I just started playing Xenosaga II and it hasn't let me down yet. Both have a great supply of CG animation, good battle animation/systems, and a good cast of characters. After the Final Fantasy series, this is deffinateally my favorite RPG series for the PS2 2. Dynasty Warriors III-Dynasty Warriors III in my opionion is the greatest hack and slash series ever made. Though DW 4 sort've let me down, they did come back with DW 4: empires which was pretty good. But but back on the subject, my friends and I stayed up for 4-5 hours playing this game several nights in a row. 3. John Madden/NCAA 2005- You don't hear much about sports games in these forums, but The EA sports series John Madden/NCAA 05 were both the best sports(football) games in the past 10 years. ( I posted them as one because EA sports really doesn't change much between the two except for the ability to pitch the ball and the players/teams names.)
I'd have to agree that RE 1 could have been the creepiest game of all time. But a close second was Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of liberty
in the last stage of the game, the qualcom begins to freakout and everyone on there turns out to be a machine...well sort of. It's been awhile since I've played it so I can't remember everything it says.
The first time I played it I was alone in my basement and it deffinateally made me question my humanity. Most gore....probably the silent hill series (though I hate it so) and the one that was supposed to be creepy but wasn't... . . .pretty much every game I've played that was "scary" I really couldn't pick one I'd like to apologize to everyone especially the mod, I thought I hit edit and I must've hit reply I did not intend to spam

Now I'm not an Eagles fan, but I am a T.O. fan. (Terrel Owens). I've followed him from his rookie season, through this past season. Now I hate the Pats. Well I guess its not like I was bitten by a Patriot, but I am a die hard Dolphins fan (no comments please) and if anybody is a Patriots or Dolphins fan they know that its a long standing rivalry. So this game kinda hurt me since I do dislike the Pats, and I knew that McNabb and Owens couldn't do it themselves. But, it was a closer game than I thought, every interception thrown was a bad choice made by McNabb. Throwing the ball to the endzone w/thirty seconds to go is ridiculous. All that was, was McNabbs drive to be a hero but instead he ended up being the goat. And I know you cannot place the blame on one man, but it helps when you can place 80% of it on him.

Views on Immigration, and it effects...
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Lennex3's topic in General Discussion
I'm not sure if you want peoples opionions on this, or if you want people to discuss articles/situations. Since I don't know any of the second I'm going to stick with my opionion. I hafta say I like immigration (specially when it has to do with Italian, German, or Asian women), but its the foundation of our country. But in contrast many people, illegal immigrants specifically, take advantage of our countries' policy on immigration. And because of that we have to do things like build a 40mile wall b/w Mexico's border and California, or we have to have a fence that spans the length of the Texas/Mexico boreder. So ummm I guess thats where my opionion runs dry, Legal Immigration good, illegal bad. -
You would pay one million dollars to see...
Drizzt Do'urden replied to CaptainAnarchy's topic in General Discussion
First off I'd like to say Panda thats a very noble idea, and I'd probably hafta disagree with those of you bashing Paris. See Paris is nasty but if ya kill her off in an animal infested forest you'd probably never get to meet her sister Nicole (meow!). Now back to the question at hand, I'd probably save it until the midgets on snowmobiles were done fighting to the deaths. Now after using Gravy Trains one million dollar turn to see some kick @%% midget fighting. I'd like to see A giant Rabid moose come onto the set of all daytime talk shows and eat the hosts and the ridiculous people that go on their to reveal their problems to the world -
Panda I could give you a hug, I spent eight months in Basic and technical training for the Air Force in Texas and Mississippi and everyone calls in Soda down there. I had to wait forever to get back and hear it called "Pop" again. Oh yeah before I forget Coca Cola Classic is the greatest all time pop. Its the classic choice for the old schooler.

I have a question bout the spoiler tags. Why are they an issue? You don't need to go into detail about a games ending if you just want to say they sucked. Halo 2 and Tales of Symphonia's endings both sucked big floppy donkey dong. There its said anybody whose played agrees and everybody wins.
