Location, location, location--Where are you from?

I'm from San Antonio, and was that ever a boring hurricane.. o.o; I havent spent alot of time in Dallas, merely driving through it on a roadtrip up to visit my parents reletives in Kansas. We got lost in Dallas. ^_~ -
The invisible HUD over his eyes continued to display the various heat signatures inside the thick, untouched forest. Grunting to himself, he fell down from the sky next to one of them, sword flipping out to the person's neck. Deserter: W- A clean punch to the stomach knocked the wind out of the young man, and he fell to the ground grasping at his stomach. Pain shot out through out his neck suddenly, and it was lights out. A defender landed next to him, nodding to Ken. A quick nod back, and he carefully began makeing his way through the forest carefully, the untainted man being taken to the carts quickly. Ken: If I knew what the rift would cause in these guys, I wouldnt be so nervous. Dodgeing the treebranches, he crotched down and peered through a bush straight to where his next deserter was supposed to be. Jumping out from his position, his defender parried his strike upwards- the suprise was on Ken. The clear, loud sound of the swords clanging together rang throughout the immediate area- the several heat sources quickly closeing in on their position. He looked back to his opponent- a strong, heavyset man, and stared silently for a few moments. The sword he was using was clearly not something anyone from this era could craft, supremely ordained and as sharp as Ken's "perfect" sword. It had to be some sort of minor error from the rift. Ken raised his arm and slammed it into the man's face, breaking his nose with ease. With a sound kick to the stomach, the combonation strike sent the man into a tree. The last thing he saw was the thin, glinting edge going between his eyes. The tree shook, several leaves falling off while Ken removed his sword- the man's body slid down to the ground and landed with a soft thump. Ken: ... This is definately an infected person. The blood that poured out of the man was tainted with a green hue, a sign of the rift at work- fortunately, this man had not been infected for too long. And, of course unfortunately, the rift's true effect hadnt totally blossomed- Ken was still clueless as to what the others might have wrong with them. His only real knowledge was that they had strange weapons- that didnt help.. But still, he had some time- time enough to alert Jonathan. Ken spoke into his microphone quickly as the other signatures closed in- "First encounter of suspected infection, killed before it spread throughout his system- rift's effects still unknown but watch out for.. 'odd' weapons. An-.. Nevermind. No time. Defender above me, I might need some assistance, somethings wrong- they're moving too fast." Ken reached down and grabbed a small dagger the man had sheathed on his leg, and stepped backwards to put himself into a defense stance but they were already on him. Breathing deep, the swords began to clash, ringing louder and truer..

I wouldnt change anything. No matter how much you grope, mope, whine, sob or just think/discuss about it you cant change the past. You might as well look to the future and be sure to do things you wont regret.. lol. *puts a sign up over the thread: "Warning: Melodrama"*

Cant go wrong with a mix of each, even less than 50/50 is alright in my book. As long as I have something I can talk and discuss serious matters or joke around with and that something is at least somewhat attractive then i'm good to go.

Fine, fine. "It" merely because I dont think any other title could fit 'me' without being obnoxiously long or strone with hidden messages. Plus, its simple and sounds cool. ^_~

"It". *winks*

Ken got up and slowly made his way out of the chatter-filled room- he had seen Trance and a few other people decide to escape out to there, might as well meet some people. Minding his head, he stepped into back waveing hello to Trance and looking at Jonathan, whom he only knew by name, and to.. some unknown woman. Looking down at both of them, he offered them his huge hand, shakeing each of theirs in turn. Ken: Kenneth Howell, Heavy Weapons Defender. Glad to be aboard, new to this tier only.
Originally posted by Change No DeathKnight, most people who follow the Bible in my experiances have lived by the letter of the law, as opposed to living by the spirit of the law.
That is why i'm agnostic. All christians today are actually False Christians- pagan practices have seeped into it overtime, and misunderstandings as to what it means blind people. Therefore, it is a falsehood to me- a shadow of Christ's first establishment. -

1. Why live for God? To devote yourself to him I understand, but to live for him...I don't think that is even what he wants, after all, he sent his son to die for you.. We all have to live for something, even if it just is life. Peoples lives are in their own hands- so let them live for God, or money, or a significant other, or just to have a family. People do what people do, and I cant change that for them. 2. Why codify spirituality in Religion? Do you look at the words, or the message? Why? I look at the message. Isnt that the point? 3. Did you like the title of this thread (I thought it was kind of funny)? Uhh.. I guess it was sorta amusing. 4. Also, feel free to bring up anything about Mythology in general, and how the stories speak to you. I might fill this in later, not much comes to mind. o.o -
The Riverwalk of San Antonio. At night you can sit on the bridge above it without much intervention, although a police man asked me to kindly get on safer ground.. Its quite beautiful there, and you can meet all sorts of tourists- some from European lands even. They have parades with floats upon it, and it is interesting to be sitting near a river in a thunderstorm- I reccomend trying it.

Haha. You call those big feet? I'm 14 and I wear a size 16 shoe. Sillys.

Ken: We all have our scars. He chugged down a cup of coffee and shook her hand, smiling broadly to her and nodding. Ken: It was nice meeting you, but I better go get suited up pretty fast. Running out of time. Standing up and takeing his leave, he made his way twards the door, absent mindedly rubbing the many scars across his right arm.. "... the rift- it. This is the worst i've seen it change!" "They're all around u-..." He stopped in the middle of suiting up, the images flashing through his head constantly, consistantly. Holding his forehead breifly- he exhaled calmly. "Bad times.... But there is no time for nostalgia into nightmares." Nodding, he quickly finished suiting up and sprinted outside, tearing down the hallway as fast as he could, grabbing one of the seats quickly- he had barely made it, as he watched a lone girl get the very last one, the rest standing absent mindedly around. Closeing his eyes, he began to whistle softly to himself a sad tune... "Mmmm.. What a bad time that was to go down memory lane, with all these people getting their first impression of this absurdly tall man.. Calm yourself, smile." It was almost as if he was reborn as he cleared his thought of negetivity and opened his eyes, watching everything through his hair quietly as the ship breifly wobbled. He smiled amusedly as his outfit appeared, and caught his pistol. It shifted into an absurdly huge longsword. He slit his thumb silently- it was sharp, like it was brand new. He knew what that meant- his was a primary combat role. The sheath materialized at that moment, and he looked up from his sword for a moment to sheath it. Several people were stareing at the tall man with the dangerous weapon and the bleeding finger in shock, awe or amusement. Smirking a bit, he spoke. Ken: Well I wasnt sent off to train in heavy weapons for nothing. Techie: Heh, heh, heh. He slid it quietly onto his back and stretched, getting used to his "outfit" and wondering what was ahead- not much actually to wonder, as no one could tell before hand. Still, he was a bit anxious for his first combat mission since-... He tuned in on a conversation between two women that were nearby- one of them had gotten a whetstone and there is only one good thing a whetstone is good for, obviously. Ken: Well I hope they dont have to use them..

Lets see. Physically I have NASH, or Non-Alcoholic Stato[Steto?]hepatitis. I'm overweight, so the fat cells in my liver are beginning to crush the "good" cells- thusly, killing me because you sort of need your liver, and your liver sort of needs its cells. To take care of this I am losing weight currently, and its getting pretty near normal now after a year of dieting and having no sugar. High blood pressure was a problem, but it got better after the first few months of dieting/no sugar. Does eyesight count as a disease? Well it is something "wrong" with me. Yea, i'm nearsighted. Nothing major, just blind without my contactts/glasses. lol. I have flat feet.. last "wrong" thing I can think of for now. Mentally, just presently [*has had alot of problems from his past, no need to get into that eh?*], I have depression problems and are prescribed medication for it- which i'm not takeing. -.- I think I have alot more problems, I just dont want to get stuck with any more chemicals trying to make me what i'm not, lol. I guess thats all I can think of for now..

I'm an adopted child- adopted by my Grandparents at the age of 8. I'm in an odd situation, an odd situation that is emotionally painful at times to me as a person surronded by people, online and off, who have normal, regular parents. I dont really think of them as my parents... why should legal status make them my parents? Aside from that, I have only one great-grandparent alive- shes currently dieing in a nursing home a few miles from here. I call her "Meme" because by law she'd be my "grandma" and that makes her sound old- so she says. I dont really love any of them.. its hard to, honestly. I appreciate what they do, giving me a house to live in and food to eat- but its just.. not right in my mind. heh. So, where does that leave me? Alot of questions unanswered in my mind. And all this over a topic that should be somewhat normal..
Originally posted by AzureWolf Haha, yeah, I know what you mean. I hope you Data Drained him, unlike me. :(
I haven't had a chance to use the
Hyakkidouran [spelling errors, i'm sure]
yet. It looks almost worse than the Bom-Ba-Ye since you lose so much accuracy.. but the skills it has are quite nice. ^_~ I'll have to try it out. =)
Originally posted by AzureWolf Anyway, I suggest you don't waste time going around, or trading and collecting arms and gear: as soon as you start MUTATION, you will throw EVERYTHING (even that rare weapon) away.
Ahhhh I love it when things you take hours to do end up meaning nothing. lol.
Originally posted by AzureWolf Out of curiousity, what group do you use, and why?
I honestly like the generic party just having Blackrose and Mistral. Sometimes I drag along Gardenia because she does sweet damage with the best spear.. I dont really have a set group, lol. Just what I feel like at the time.
Originally posted by AzureWolf Oh, one last thing: finish the Zeit Statue sidequest before playing MUTATION, because my bro didn't, and now the place I did it at changed. Haha, I didn't want him to go through what I did (my word history in Delta is flooded with like 100 "Chronicling" stages!), but it looks like he will have to, or just restart MUTATION
Yea, I was planning on doing that tonight. Maybe get the rest of the Ryu Books just for fun, lol.

Well at least we know who in this thread shouldnt go to a real art gallery, eh? haha. Silly simpletons.. --- I like this. I might not know why, but I just do. It's cute. It's just.. It's. It's all in that word, "it's" basically. I adore it. I might make it my wallpaper.. .. but my parents might think of me as insane. ^_^;

I hope to be posting in this thread soon, lol. I finished the first again, getting everything that I wanted and defeating the secret boss in the secret dungeon [man that was more annoying than difficult.] Any suggestions before I transfer it over into Mutation? Level 32 I believe, with the argueablely best weapon in the game and highest level armor for Kite and the Dryad's Sword and top notch armor for Blackrose, and pretty much the same for the rest of the supporting cast.

I'm scared of Blanko's self pity. o.o I'm just kidding, Blanko. Hehe. ^__^ --- As a child I had really screwed up falling dreams. I'd start my dream off in the local mall, second floor. There were no railings at all, which I was alright with. I was headed to the nearest store to, kindly take my leave/find my mother/avoid falling if all possible and the floot itself would incline underneath me, and i'd begin to slide. I would blindly grope at the tile floor, trying to gain some sort of hold on- I dont know, something miraculous. But i'd slowly slide closer and closer to the railless edge. The obvious happened- I fell for 6 seconds straight and woke up with a start as I splattered onto the first floor tile in my dream. Sometimes, intially, the floor would be at an incline and along the wall there would be a 1 foot wide part that would be flat. So i'd try to slowly make my way around the edge, so as to not slide down to my death again- but the wide part would start shrinking. Screaming, i'd try to climb onto the wall, but of course I slid and ended up "dieing". This would occur so often I had a severe fear of heights throughout childhood and up till about age 12, when I went to New York City and decided I had to somehow face this fear. On the general bill of tourism was the Empire State building- So I stuck placed my head on that protective railing they have around the outside observation deck, and looked down.. down.. down for a set length of time. I almost had a heart attack. ~.~ But thankfully since then its faded away alot.. thats the last major fear that I had I think, and since then I really havent found any situations where fear controlled my senses or rational thinking.

Ken stood up silently and made his way through the small crowd as it filtered slowly out through the various exits. He might as well get the whole needles bit over with, and then spend some time to himself drinking some good hot cofee. Walking out of the corrosponding exit, he was soon in a relevtively small line of those who wanted to get it out of the way too- all of them with a pissed off or bored look on their face. "Well. At least morale stays at a common point of sucking." Leaning against the wall, he watched as a young guy with a buzzcut walked out- various white patches across his arm dotting all across it. "Maybe this will prove to be more interesting than anyone thinks, I mean, it is a repeating problem. We might find something different this time.." Slowly, he was 4th in line. 3rd. 2nd. It was his turn. He ducked his head underneath the reletively short, to him, doorway and sat down, pulling up his sleeve. He looked away as the process started, winceing only on the first needle and remaining calm for all the rest. It took only a few moments for all of them, and he was soon on his way out like the few before him, ducking once more to avoid an untimely concussion. Ken: Now for some coffee..

The actual path to modship is in general to not persue it. If you prove your behavoir to be that of a moderator's, and are online, reliable, etc., James will approach you- not vice versa. And old rule around here is to never ask to be one, wait to be asked.

I'm kinda crazy if you didnt notice. ;P By the way, welcome back to Liam. ^^

And where does it ever talk about that in the Bible or anywhere else? It never mentions Satan doing that, lol. Its most likely just propoganda that the church has been produceing for the last 1000 years, please. *snorts* Ghosts and such DO exist- If Satan wanted to confuse and deter people from 'the faith' then he could come up with much better ways. He has the power of a Cherubim, and the intelligence of any of the angels intially created by God. I just cant bring myself to believe that the crafty Dragon represented in Revelation would have such a basic way of leading astray Christians, lol. Lets NOT turn this into a religious debate- You will remain on your path, and I will remain on mine. I will now post this, and say nothing else regarding religion in this topic- that alone has closed many threads, and I will not let myself get any more out of league than this..
