You don't necessarily need the level 2 sword to beat the game, but it does come in handy. It allows you to kill some enemies with one strike instead of two, and when all of your heart containers are full, the sword shoots these fun beams at your enemies.
Originally posted by Paul o.k how many sea shells are there? and where are they all because that is how you get the level two sword isn't it?
There are 20 shells altogether. If you have exactly 5 or 10 shells, then you can enter the shell hut and get a free shell. Otherwise you just have to keep looking around, some are even hidden in trees and require you to run into them with the Pegasus Boots. Others are hidden under stones or in tall grass :)

Ehe...street racing would be fun. I think I need to uncover somewhere that there is street racing in LA so that I can go and watch. I like to pretend that my car goes fast, but my ZX5 Focus isn't too speedy. My dad and I installed a few new things that gives it some more horsepower, but I wish it was faster! If it were a manual transmission, then that would be awesome...[Jenna continues to rave about her car, which is totally irrelevant to the topic of street racing]...

"Good guys" are usually the men that girls see as the good friends, and someone who they would be unlikely to date. It strangely happens to be that way a majority of the time :whoops: For a long time I had trouble believing that good guys do exist, but recently I've had a chance to see first hand that they do ^-^ Just hang in there...your man will come :)
Originally posted by Anna One of them was that I wanted to be a ballerina. ...I also have flat feet, an arch is necessary.
Me too :nope: I just live vicariously through the professionals ^_^ My life long dream is to become a war photographer. The ultimate goal would be to obtain a staff position at a news magazine (Time, Newsweek, etc.), but doing freelance work for a while would certainly suffice. I don't know what it is that attracts me to conflict, but it's something I've dreamed of doing for a while. Now that I'm attending a photography school and shooting for my BA in photojournalism, that dream is going to become reality in three years...with a lot of hard work on my part. I'm extrememly happy with where my life is going right now, I haven't been this happy in a long time :)

Sephiroth voluntarily stepped down from his mod position, he didn't do anything to warrant a de-modding (if such a word exists).

I had a dream a long time ago that kuja and I were in a boat with a bunch of my friends, and then we settled on the dock for a picnic and TN was there...and I remember him being very hot. I think I was both clinging to and hugging him o_O I've had other OB dreams, a few about Justin, I think even one about Cera. It's weird how your subconscience can put faces and bodies to names of people that you have never met...

There is one simple word that reminds me of the people I'm around all day, every day, and that word happens to be
'dude.'
I know not why I really like that word, but I think the concept of the idiocy that is attached with it just makes me laugh. Another quote that makes me laugh is from Caddyshack;
'Cannonball comin'
...but this guy I hang out with says it in a really funny voice and it makes me laugh every time, especially since he blurts it out at the most random times. Things are just funny like that.

Now that I'm attending the Brooks Institute of Photography, I'm going to college with a huge group of film makers, and I got to view a film festival sort of thing with a bunch of student made films. The first and second year films were not too great, but a lot of the third year films were fairly good. The software that they use to edit their films is Final Cut Pro, which is actaully rather impressive ^_^

Eheh...Jenna is much crazier in real life :angel:

I hate to sound like a total girl, but I think that Vin Diesel is incredibly good looking (and that VOICE!), and I'll admit that he's one of the reasons I want to see that movie. I've always been an action fan, but when there's a really great looking man in the lead...count me in :drool:
Originally posted by SSJGoten Arrrggghhhh....bad book. Like it I dont. Poor Chewie...... :(
I'm starting to get the feeling that I'd rather crawl into a hole and die than read the NJO. I'd avoid it altogether if it weren't so pertinent to the EU storyline. I'm in the middle of Vector Prime right now, and I have an overwhelming sense of impending doom...
Originally posted by Lauren I mean,I wont even go in Portapotties because of them...
Heh, that's ridiculous. I'd be more afraid of rare diseases in a portapotty than a harmless daddy longlegs :whoops: I haven't had too many 'freaky' moments in my life (aside from being chased by dingoes in the Australian bush), but the one that traumatized me the most was watching a man get electrocuted by lightning. ...yet people still question why I'm afraid of storms :confuse2:

Writing I'm a glutton for punishment, aren't I?
BabyGirl replied to Sere Tuscumbia's topic in Creative Works
Ah, well done! I so rarely read anyone else's work nowadays. Your writing style reminds me a lot of my own, and because of that, I really enjoyed it. I also love sci-fi stories...can't wait until you post more ^_^ -
Originally posted by Aries Same here, but there is always that suspicion in the back of your head that someone planted a camera in the vent (that's mine, at least), or someone's spying :p
I've had thoughts like that before! I work myself up so much that I become convinced that someone is following me through the house or watching me from a window when it's dark outside. One morning I had to wake up early and no one else was up, and I had just had a dream about a woman being raped (a result, perhaps, of being followed by a scary white rapist van a few days before). I was so paranoid that someone might be in my house that I was scared to get in the shower ^_^;
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve OMG! Did you make your banner BG? Because, if so, not only is it super cool (I sound like the brady bunch all of the sudden) but it's such a pun!
Heh, that post cracked me up. But no actually, a friend of mine (Grant Steiner, the link to his site is in my sig) made the Incubus part of it, and I merely cropped it into banner size and added a border. Aries? I definitely like that font much better! ;D
-
I definitely like this better than your previous one, Aries. I like it when all of the colors in a banner coincide rather than conflict (which, sadly, happens in far too many images). I'm also a fan of the overall muted tone in this banner because it more easily shows the contrast between light and dark areas. The only thing I would suggest changing is the font, but I know it's sort of your signature font :whoops: I just think that a different style would look better with this particular banner. Overall Aries, I think this is one of my favorite banners you have done thus far ^_^
Originally posted by Cera 'Pop' is an onomatopoeic word. I don't drink it...
I do :p And while it is indeed an onomatopoeia, those of us in Michigan are very aware of the dual references to soft drinks (three if you count the general "Coke" used in several Southern states). Pop and soda are interchangeable, and while soda does make more sense, it is going to take me more than a little while to start saying that after I move to California.
"May I please have a soda?
How odd will that sound coming out of my mouth? :drunk:
Originally posted by projekt_navi Well ... I used to be a linkin park fan ... (before they went to MTV)
Lol, that's like saying "I hate Linkin Park because they stuck with the music business until they reached their goal of being successful"... I really like the Reanimation CD, I listened to it all the way through a few times today, and it's definitely worth the money.
Originally posted by sage To mock at english-speaking people a little ;) , I just HATE the way they pronounce "é". It's not "ei"("ay")! So no Renei (Renée), Soirei (soirée) or anything else like that!
Ah, that bothers me too, and English is my first language. I'm assuming you speak French as a first language? I LOVE French, I love everything about it, I love speaking it and the French culture and the country and so on...:babble: But, like yourself, I hate it when people don't pronounce the é correctly...or when they don't pronounce anything French correctly. Annoying >_

On time my friend was talking about someone being the epitome of something, and she pronounced it "EP-eh-tome" instead of "ah-PIH-toe-me" and I just looked at her and started cracking up. It was a funny moment ^_^
