[COLOR=Magenta][B]I grew up listening to LP as well, they've been a big band in my life...but then...I kinda stopped liking them. Their songs were repetitive and such, but I still sing along and etc. when a song is playing. And if Minutes to Midnight is good...even better than the first three albums...then.... I might be interested. I'm wayyy tired of Chester though. That dude gets on my nerves. I swear all of the people I know that like LP like it for that one guy...and his voice hasn't progressed very much. But, of course, I havn't heard the full album yet, so I'll give him one more chance. I like to listen because of the music from the rest of the band...they have a certain hypnotizing feel. But now...I don't like the whole mainstream poppy stuff, so I probably won't like their new stuff anyway. BUT. I shall give it a chance, before I go kill infants.[/B][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Magenta][B]I desperately want to cover these three songs. "Hey There Dehlilah" by the Plain White T's, "Free Bird" by Lynnard Skynnard and "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones. My guitarists can play bits of Free Bird, so we're already one third of the way there, lol. Same problem with my bassist too. My friend Alex plays bass, but he isn't very good, because he doesn't own one. So, I'm trying to teach him the ways of the Bass Guitar, and I'm letting him chill with my prized possession, The Peavey Axceleator.[/B][/COLOR]

Nightfall- Guitarist, Screamer HidingBehindChurchDoors-Guitarist,Screamer, Raise The Stake- Guitar, later on Bass, Screamer Songsfromjennifer- It was kind of a solo project with my friend Austin, so I did everything, while he played guitar. And now, I play drums and Sing/Scream for my current band "ThecopskilledKenny" which I formed earlier this year. I don't really like giving genres but I do it anyway. I usually just say Christian Screamo, but we like to change it up alot, because we don't wanna be just another band. We havn't recorded demos yet, we're still kind of practicing up and stuff, trying to write. It consists of me and four other guys, who are pretty cool, and hopefully this band will last a little longer than my past musical groups, lol.[/B][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Magenta][B]Well the best (modern) bands in all history are probably Slipknot, Underoath, MCR, and Linkin Park based on all that technical crap, but my faves are a lil' different. Underoath- Kick butt Christian Screamo. All Five albums rock. Techno, Nice drum action, pretty okay guitarness. Coheed and Cambria- Dood, these guys kick butt. The guitarists and bassists are really really awesome...not to mention that Claudio's voice is powerful...in a chick kind of way, which I like. The Number 12 Looks Like You- The whole band is pretty awesome, they bring the sense of old skool emo back to the music, and I think that's awesome. Allow me to say the word Awesome once more. Awesome. Haste The Day- These guys are a Christian Screamo band also under Solid State, like Underoath, but these guys have more of a nice...METAL feel. The whole band is wild. Good guitarists, kick butt bassists, onuvmuh fave drummers. Avenged Sevenfold- Dood, these guys are probably the best band ever. Every aspect is great. I don't normally dig music like this, but when it's A7X, I'm all over it. Umm...Yep. I didn't reallly go into it, but I hope that's good enough for ya. Indeed.[/B][/COLOR]

I'm such a dweeb for postin my own article...but. Well, here ya go. This is basically like a crappy timeline of Kazuwa Nomura. Enjoy, Charles [COLOR=Magenta][B]Kazuwa Nomura originally came onto the OB as Little Slugger on 8-03-2005, and later on changed his name to ShonenSamuraiMugen. ShonenSamuraiMugen was later banned (probably for pure immaturity). He was banned with a total of 22 threads, and 107 posts. But of course, he couldn't get enough of the OB so he rejoined on 09-09-2005 which wasn't too long after his banning. He reappeared as InuElric (his name was for his love of Inuyasha and FMA), and he later changed his name to Nomura. Soon after rejoining the OB, he befriended CloudsOnly189 (now Keyblade Wielder) and they've always been friends, throughout old posts in the OB, they would mention each other. 02-17-2006- Nomura starts a crappy comedy thread called Who's line is it anyway?-Otaku lounge style comedy corner, which involved alot of bad humour and now famous members. 02-19-2006- Nomura makes a thread called Doujinshi Naruto comedy manga, which contains many humorous webcomics of Naruto, the comics were dead after months, but Nomura has always wanted to continue them, but has never gotten around to it. 03-16-2006-Nomura starts his first real RPG called .hack//THE WORLD which had a few significant members posting, but the RPG died at a tender post number of 91. 4-01-2006, Nomura started the Otakan News, which quickly died away because of lazyness (mostly him). It was an OB newspaper, that had hope in the beginning, but Nomura failed to commit. After the Otakan news, and during the .hack RPG, Nomura cleared his web history all together and that wiped away his Remember Me!. He didn't know his password, so he had to get an email sent to him. The emails were screwed at the time, so Nomura decided to get a new account all together. He stopped using his Nomura account at 383 posts and 68 threads. This time he came as Kazuwa Nomura (his self-proclaimed official alias) on 06-07-2006, and has been posting under the account ever since. Nomura's real name is Hunter, and he is one of the Christian members of the OB. In late 2006, he took a break from the Internet, to work with his band, but now he gets on the OB whenever he has free time. It's hard though, because of his music. He has played in five bands total since 2005, and he's still trying to make it with his Christian Screamo band. He has never been a very popular member, but has been there and done that, and has a great knowledge of the boards and its members. Hunter has also been known as a very annoying member, and there are many people who probably hate him enough to cybernetically kill him with an axe. Indeed.[/B][/COLOR]

Originally it was about "talking about my anime otakuness" and now I kind of just pay attention to other members and the Otaku Lounge. [COLOR=Magenta][B]Alot of the time, when I'm angry, I listen to some real nice music, like let's say The Number 12 Looks Like You, or some old Underoath, as well as some Haste The Day and I finish the headbanging sessions off with a little bit of The Agony Scene. And then I cool down after that with some calm music, or some sad song. That helps me alot. Or I can just mindlessly run over people on Driver or GTA or some game like that. And If my parents aren't home, I'll scream alot, but of course I scream alot anyway. :)[/B][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Magenta][B]Everybody on the OB is a little bit lazy, and usually don't post in th Art Studio. I visit a few times, but nothing really captures me. If I had a good scanner, I could participate in all the art competitions and etc. because I am quite an art lover and I do draw very much, but alas, I don't have a good scanner. Is the Art Studio boring? Well honestly, it currently is, because nobody has really posted anything, but that doesn't mean its a boring place. It's still a very good sub-forum dealio. Sparkyness idea: Host a competition and etc. or....some event, etc. That alot of people can participate in, about "Art", then more posts will come, life shall be brought back, and everybody will be happy once again. Even if you're innocent...you may very well be on death-roll. The truce with The Girls of Old Town is one of those things you know a few cops are dying to get rid of. But...most of these cops would put a girl in jail, if they don't have their way with them. This ends with a death of some sort, and somebody gets to take a trip to jail. Happy ending in some cases. Never seen so much blood in my life...it all started in Sin City. And after I got out of jail, I was itching to go back, get a drink at Kadie's...and settle in my apartment thinking of...how...unreal this place is. No...nothing is unreal in Basin. Nothing. I lay in bed...can't get to sleep. I hear sirens. I don't dare look out the window beside my bed. I turn over and try to block out the sound...Block out all the sound. I finally fall to sleep. I wake up sweating like a female dog in heat. Might be morning already...doesn't matter. I get up and make a cup of coffee. The liquid runs through me and quenches my thirst, as the feeling of a twisting head shadows over me. I feel very...closed in...in this small apartment. I turn the TV on in hopes that my head will stop spinning. Few shows are on...nothing I care for. The time on the clock says it's four thirty-two in the morning. That brings a few memories to mind. Four thirty-two, wednesday morning. Sacred Oaks. Sure, I stole property from there...I think. I can't remember what exactly happened. I barely remember anybody in this town. Jailtime was horrible for me, but after a while, I got used the stench of the place...the grits that taste like dirt. I look around, and get a little scared...Scared I'm going crazy...or blind. My left eye only sees blurry objects...my right eye works fine. Maybe I'm going blind in one eye...maybe I'm just paranoid... I don't know. It sounds like laughter in the distance but I just ignore it. One of the neighbours may be laughing up a storm like a crazy person. But then it hits me that I'm the one that's going insane. The laughter sounds like it's right beside me now. I turn my head, and nothing's there. I havn't thought like this since I've been out of the pen. What's my name? I know I told it to the man up front, when I checked back in to the building. He kept my place waiting for me. Nice guy. If I go ask him what my name is, he'll think I'm crazy. I'll just think for a few seconds. I get off of the red catscratch couch I've been sitting on. I sit the cofee mug I'm drinking from onto the kitchen counter, and walk ten feet over to my bed. There's a gun.There's a 9 mm. pistol on my bed, with something engraved in the side. The golden letters hit the black sides like a perfect harmony. The word on the side is John. This is all too strange, but I'm okay with it. I hear laughter again, and once again, I just ignore it. I see if the gun is loaded, and it is. I take the gun with me, to the bathroom. I hear the laughter leading me to the green walls and dirty white tile. I look into the mirror, which is fogged up. Ivory is written in the blurr. I see myself in the letters. I never knew my hair was so dark. A scar comes down over my left eye. I have a clean cut beard, no mustache. My eyes seem to be...two different colours. Heterochromia. One eye's dark...like black, and my left eye is an icy blue. So, John and Ivory...Is that my name? Why...am I playing some game...with myself? I go along with it, not questioning it too much. The gun is still in my hand. I walk out of the bathroom, back into the main apartment. My closet door is open. All my clothes are black. I look down at what I fell asleep in. Just a pair of pants, no shoes, no shirt. I have a tatoo across my abdomen. Black. It says black in caligraphy letters. John Ivory Black. Been in jail for ten years. Doesn't remember much. Lives in Basin City, Kitsap County. Has Heterochromia. That's all I needed to know about myself. The laughter is gone, but I know it's not far-gone. I lay down with the pistol still in my hand. [B][COLOR=Magenta]Well..This thread is basically about the 5 worst voiceovers you've ever experienced. This doesn't have to be in any particular order, or anything. I would like it if you kind of went into these posts, but if you're too lazy to do that...then whateva. ANYWHO. Well I've played alot of games. And it's hard to pick out the worst voiceovers...because...well there is alot of bad ones. The ones I hate the most shall be on ze list. Tidus (Final Fantasy X)- I love this game, I really do...but...I started replaying it...and that's when you really see how bad it is. lol... Tidus sounds so...horrible. He doesn't look like he sounds at all...He looks so cool and young, and like awesome. But...his voiceovers sounds like Michael J. Fox. Ouch. Mastercheif (Before Halo 1, while still testing, shown at E3)...Well. Not much to say, you just need to see the video of this for yourself... Mastercheif had a really bad robotic accent lol Link (legend of Zelda..old ripoff of nintendo, disc version) WELL...Link was an old pervy guy that wanted to...well Can't say that on the OB but he was pretty bad. But he sounded pretty pervy...and..wow. Not to mention that Zelda's dad has the same voice as Yoda...You know what? This whole game is just bad. Or Michael J..I mean Tidus. Sanjuro (.hack)- In the anime .hack/LOTT, Sanjuro sounds reasonably cool. No...No not in the games. In the games he sounds like a 40 year old army sargent... He sounds OLDER than his older self in the anime. He's all rugged... and yeah. Anywho. Yeah.[/COLOR][/B]

[COLOR=Magenta][B]...No. Not. Nada. Drummer hero would probably not work out. For one thing I know. I drum, play bass, sing, and play guitar for a band.. (yeah we're definitely NOT doing concerts that's for sure.) But you do have a good heart, so I won't hate on you. lol Drums...are essentially the most important part of a band...but...you can't have colour coded crap...and stuff...it's just not...right. How would you watch the screen and play these drums? You wouldn't be fast enough. Drumming comes...naturally, needs practice, and playing by ear or note. Now I will say that a BAND etc. hero would work out, because I would love to sing many of these oldies and etc, along with playing the bass in career...and keyboards could work in there...but there's not alot of songs with keyboards in the GH stuff I've seen so far, but of course, we can fit some in there. But think of the cost. GHII was 80 dollars. (Axe and game).. How much would it be to get a mic, a guitar and a keyboard...even a drum set. Drummer Hero...Would suck for alot of people. It's not just having two sticks. Real kit drumming involves more of your leg power than your arms, but you have to be very fast as well with your wrists, and hands. Really the only solution is to get a real drumkit, learn how to roll, paradiddle, get off beat, become a real Tommy Lee or JJ. OH AND PS to anybody reading this post. If you think it's impossible to mess up while playing drums, or it's the easiest, you are dead wrong. drums bass rhythm lead keys/techno vocals Remember this line up. It is the importance chart of a band. This is how important a certain instrument is, and what follows it. First you have drums, then comes bass, and so on. Sometimes bass, guitar, keyboards, or vocals will be missing, but the drums is most of the time there, because it keeps tempo and etc. Thank you folks, for putting up with my constant blabber lol [/B] [/COLOR]
