1.
I would probably be some kind of cookies and cream bar, but with bits of Heath and caramel inside. Haha, it would pretty much be the candy bar version of my typical bowl of ice cream. The wrapper would probably be white with a bunch of random winter imagery, like dead trees and snow. I think it would just be called CLURR, in a cursive type font. Ohman, now I want candy too. :[
I'd be the off-brand version of CLURR, just named ALMOST-CLURR. Everythings there, only, not as smart and as good tasting as the CLURR bar. ...ALMOST-CLURR! Wooh.
 2. Doesn't really matter, the guy was a sucky drummer anyway ;] But since when does what somebody could call a "drum pattern" the same as a bass pattern? But I don't guess I would know at this state, I'm only a drummer. I don't read the music though. Perhaps he has a lazy leg though, and can only do one bass pattern, for the rest of his life! ...You guys just made fun of a poor guy who can only do one bass pattern for the rest of your life. He will become a hobo in the streets of Hermitage, Arkansas, and wonder around my house naked forever. Thanks Alot. Jackasses, you lot.
 3.
lol, no he's not.
He's original. And Fast. He has all the styles down, jazz, and metal. So, he's the best in my mind. He's awesome. Hands down, awesome.
 4. Lately I've been listening to alot of Strike the Choir... (local band, www.myspace.com/strikethechoir1) They are my second favorite band, and they have alot of great stuff on their latest EP, which sounds a bit like the Number 12's stuff, going into jazz breakdowns and having the two guitarists going at it, with David and Dustin screaming at each other in battles, it's absolutely great. Also been listening to "Mongrel" by the Number 12 Looks Like You. It's quite different, with more offbeat and metal bits, and I feel it's too short, but it's really good. The guitarists have never been better, and I've never felt so good about a drummer before, Jon Karel is the (almost kinda) best drummer out there right now (he's still my favorite :3). The vocals are pretty good, and power-packed, and add emotions to some songs, now including lullabies, and different low-growls, and the singers sound better on this album, I feel. Yep. That's what I've been listening to. Yepyep. Indeed.
 5.
I'm making this topic for the sole purpose that it annoy me to see all these peoples calling themselves otaku when they don't know what that means, I'm not trying to make fun of anyone or be evil.
...Don't flatter yourself. You are nowhere in the category of evil, do not fret though, you can be one of those "potentially-bad members of the OB".
I'm only saying that by calling yourself an otaku, you are making fun of yourself and if you were to use this term in Japan to refer yourself as an anime fan then you ARE insulting yourself.
Otaku means fan-boy, modernly in Japan, referring to somebody passionate about the media. I don't ever go around calling myself an otaku, though I do have this one shirt (:3), I usually just say, "Hey I like Anime, and Manga, and Music, and Moves, and TV, and Comic Books, and Videogames, and Karaoke, and The Internet, and..umm...umm..."
Be careful and use the term "fan" rather than Otaku. Otaku is amean thing.
Sure. Anyway. I think you guys should add Ninja and God in there, God for the older members that've been around forever, say, like Nerdsy or Shy, and Ninja for me, just because that would be kinda kewl. Though I would have...like...six hundred or so if I had stuck to my older accounts....or like 400+ (:3 Don't remember)... now my post count ish kind of low. But I'm not...a newbie am I? Just a..uh.....older member in a bad situation of accounts. Indeed. O.o
 6. I went to the Guitar Center in my state capital on saturday, and while my dad went into the achoustic section, I stayed back and drooled over some of the nice electrics. And, a guy named Ben, who worked there was playing a song by the Number 12, so of course, I walk over and say hey. So, we start talking, and it turns out he is the guitarist of Asteios, one of my faves in the local scene, and he invites me to a concert. It was absolutely sweeeeet. Anywho. Later that night, my cousin was in town for my grandfather's birthday party, so he spent the night and we played guitar all night, and my favorite part was the "duel" if you will, in which we went back in forth with guitar solo bits, kind of like a Dragonforce song, lol. He tuned my guitar to drop c, and it actually sounds pretty nice. After that, we tuned it to Drop D, and I kept it like that ever since. Yepyepyep.
 7. Well, we only have one post to make this work so....I went over everybody, and I love you all aha, even the ones I quarrel with (you bastards), I have to pick somebody who absolutely deserves it. Nerdsy. Now, I have to...persuade you guys to make in be in the hall of fame... Why should I? You know he's awesome. In fact, when I asked him what I should say for him in this thread, he said "Tell them how awesome I am. That should work." How can you not pick the guy? He's been here forever, for God's sake. He's a wrinkled old poster. Nah, he's sexy as hell. Anything else? Duh. He's smart when it comes to stuff that matters in life, like Power Rangers, or Gargoyles, or Batman or anything. Absolutely. He's a fine poster of the OB, and I'm sure everybody looks up to him, because if you don't look up to a member of the Triad, you're a bigger loser than I am. That's pretty big. So, there you have it. Pick him, or die. PS- Sorry I didn't nominate you 2007DB, Goodbye,Face, KW, DW, Laura, Shy, Prem, and everybody else. Don't hate me for it :3.
 8.
listen to the fallen cd almost every song he uses the same drum pattern, the only things that change are the tempo and maybe add in a bit of showing off.
Did you look back over at what you just wrote? If he changes up the tempo and adds in transitionary bits then it's not the same pattern.
 9.
Did anyone els notice on thier album Fallen that their drummer plays the exact same beat and alomst EVERY song! I was talking to one of my friends who is a Evenescance fanatic, and she told me that they kicked him out. So do you think that was the reason?
I dunno man. Copying the same beat is hard. Unless the beat is very simple. But if the percussion was sooo simple, then he wouldn't be the drummer now would he? I've got an old Anywhere But Home DVD and I havn't noticed this dude playing anything that is exactly the same as the last. If that were true then all the songs would be in the exact same tempo.
 10.
I hate 'Party Like A Rockstar.' Ignorant, stupid song. And now every trendy hip-POP culture loser with his hat cocked to the side knows how to lazily employ the Goat. And that's just not something that should be used out of context...like when fans of Hinder do it...but they do it with their palm facing in...IT'S NOT DAMN SUPPOSED TO BE PALM IN!! IT'S PALM OUT!! Watch Dio, for Christ's sake. Worst bands ever? Hinder=sonic ****. Crossfade=" ". Limp Bizkit=Never, EVER do that to Pantera. Kiss=Sissy bands shouldn't wear corpse paint. the Beach Boys=California will never recover. Neil Diamond=Sweet Caroline probably shot herself. DUN DUN DUUUN. LFO= Now, these boys were cute. Hoobastank= YEEEEES!!! Who-be-stankin'?. Puddle of Mudd=Never, EVER do that to Kurt Cobain. Slipknot=not metal. Later Anthrax= I hate you. Later Metallica= Bastards. All Megadeth= Stop trying to be Metallica. Whitesnake(and every hair band that starts with 'W')= Thank you. No, really. Thanks. Because of you, it's totally obiekabie for every metalcore band ever to cover Bon Jovi or Warrant and show just how much like hair metal metalcore is becoming. Which brings me to: BON JOVI. The singular worst band...ever. You gave us a bad name, Bon Jovi. And you're to blame. Hails(with palm out), -Justin
Wow. All were good points. Except KISS. :P They rocked in concert. After ten hours of guitar solos, I felt strangely...like an alien was about to come get me and examine me. Twitch* ...O.o And yes. Ever noticed that Bon Jovi and his band act like they're owning the place? They look so retarded as they try to be cool. Not to mentionnnn. Lipsyncccc.
 11.
Limp Bizkit is one of those bands that is so laughably bad that you play one of their songs at a party just because you thought, "it'd be funny."
Ah, touche'.
Hmm, this is a hard one there is so many bands and singers I hate. Well to start every pop singer accept Jesse Macartney because I love his voice, Green Day I never liked them I don't know why they give me a bad vibe, Sum 41 I hate their lead singers voice!, Avril Laveign ever since she came out with that stupid girlfriend song I now hate her music terribly. Those are only my top of the list people and bands.
You know, I'm really trying hard not to say anything about this. So, I'm just gonna leave it at... .... .... ... .........What?! Well, time to move on with my life and add...Shopboyz. These guys are the worst rappers...ever. Their single out right now is "Party Like a Rockstar".... and of course, you would think that's where the crap ends. Checked into the rest of their stuff. ... ...Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
 12. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater (PS2)- This is definitely a fun game, my favorite of the MGS series. Basically, you play as Snake, during the Cold War, and you live off of the enviroment. You have to eat things to gain stamina, health and etc. It's quite fun, has alot of stealthy parts, and action-packed fights, as well as alot of hidden secrets that are fun to find. The story is great, and this is one of my favorites to play through all the time.
 13.
Actually, Dave Mustaine is in Megadeth. I can see where you can mix him up with Mastodon though. You can see the simillarites in the bands when Mustaine was still in Metallica. The riffs from Call of Ktulu and Hangar 18 sound eerily similar. I think that Dave Mustaine did the right move by going away from Metallica and moving on to Megadeth. Now we have two big acts that helped shaped Metal to what it is today and we have a little dispute over song crediting to thank for it.
Whag of finger to you* xD I can't belive I just got Mastodon and Megadeth confused. Man. But uh...Dave really didn't want to leave Metallica. He kind of got dissed. He was really sad, and etc. Honestly, I really don't like Deep Purple or Smoke on the Water. It was the first song I learned and all, besides Iron Man...But I really wouldn't listen to it on a daily basis. Well, I tried finger picking today on my electric...and...No good. lol. Teach me the ways of your skill, massah.
 14. Hmm...I've got to say....Well...Any band that went from something even a little hardcore...into. Something...not. Haste The Day. Killswitch Engage. Limp Bizkit (lol) etc.
 15.
I think it's impossible to overlook James Hetfield. He, amongst a handful of other people steered metal in the direction it's in now with his songwriting. Not only that, but he has such an aura-ful presence when he is on stage, and many say that Metallica's strength has been and always will be their live act, but I personally believe that their live act is mostly down to Hetfield. As for Pump It, I watched the Black Eyed Peas at Live Earth on the television... I don't see the point of their existance in music.
Kirk Hammett is one of the best guitarists, he could kick James' butt anyday. Just Kidding. James is a powerful front man, but it all lies in Kirk. Even Dave Mustaine, the old guitarist, now in Mastodon, was a pro on stage. Yet, Dave got a little carried away. The only song I've really learned how to play by Metallica is Enter Sandman. Anywho. To the bassists, you've gotta admit. When everything gets quiet for a midsection, and it's a bass solo, and then everything goes crazy...Who made you feel all good during that bass solo? The bassist. Woot. As for bass....I havn't been playing much lately. But, I have seen bands that have made me want to go play again...But..I wish I had a stand-up bass. Jonny Come Lately and Tiger Army make their music sound great with those stand-up bassists. O.o So. Back into the merch I use. D'Addario are the best strings hands down. Not sure what pickups I'm using...I forgot :animeswea but I really want a set of EMG pickups. Lately, my wah has been acting up...Whenever I set my pedal board to the wah pedal...it stays on wah, through out the whole thing,so the wah pedal basically doesn't work, and when Octave + is on, it screeches :[. Lately, I've been wanting to tune my guitar to Drop D, right now, it's tuned to regular, but I don't really feel like going through the tuning process, since I have a whammy bar on and everything..I have to loosen up abunch of crap to tune it. I'll try to upload old pictures of my Telecaster and Axceleator(bass) later. To Break. I can't fingerpick worth crap. I'm just so used to strumming. If you want something....nice and cheap...Get yourself either an Ibanez, or a Gibson. But if you're into the new kinds of Fenders, go for those too. Anybody besides me drool at the sights of Paul Reed Smith Singlecuts?
 16.
My favorite guitarists right now would be John Frusciante, Marcus Henderson, Dimebag Dave (RIP) and Slash.
Dimebag Darrell Abbott, you mean? Anyway, no, we don't hate you, but....we envy you lol. You're lucky to have such a good guitar. Lately...I've been having obsessions with using only Dunlop 45 mm. picks...which remind me of paper xD. I like the feel of them...and gosh. I spent alot of money on getting alot of picks aha. When I need to go, and I can't take my amps and setup with me, I take my small Roland Microcube that I have, and it's quite handy, but it doesn't sound quite as good as my BOSS setup. I really want to be as good as Marc Henderson though. He played all of the songs on GH/GH2 along with buddies, and he can really...play anything. I don't want to grow on one style right now, so I've been trying to switch it up alot. Right now, I'm looking up a tab for The Suffering by Coheed and Cambria, which I can't believe I havn't already done. This post was very random.
 17. I've been playing now...for about three years. It helps alot, that my dad used to be a band and is a really good guitarist, along with my brother, so it kind of runs in the family. Lately, me and my friend Austin have been jamming out on guitar instead of actually practicing our band's written stuff, and we're writing some random material. My first guitar ever, was a (???) Black...Viper, I think, and I got it when I was four (haha I know). Then I got a Squire Bullet around six...or seven...or eight. I didn't really actually learn, I just banged on it lol...Then, I found alot of interest in music...and I started learning how to play on my dad's Telecaster. And now, here I am.
 18. Well, this thread is basically just about guitars, guitarists, etc. You get the idea. Let's start off, with discussing our axes. I used to play a old Fender Telecaster, in ment condition and all, but I wanted something a bit new, fresh, etc. So, I now play an Ibanex RG series guitar, running through a BOSS ME-50 Multi Effects pedal board, into a Fender DeVille amp. I like to use distortion alot, chorus when I don't have distortion on. It's a nice setup, easy to play rock music with, my guitar is absolutely wicked. Etc. Lately, I've been playing "Wow, I can Be Sexual Too!" by Say Anything. The guitar in that song gets to me, and I absolutely adore it. My favorite guitarists are: Alexi Laiho, and Marc Henderson...along with alot of other guitarists. Yep.
 19. I don't know...It was for the best, really, those names really work out for the Dillinger Plan.
 20.
Because he's with Good Charlotte. A dead cat would sound good next to them.
No no no, you leave out the fact, that the cat was alive before it was on stage with them.
 21. Don't get Matt wrong...He's got a good pair of chords on him...but...he doesn't quite use them right. Put it simple, the band is amazing. The achoustic breakdowns, the drummer Rev is one of the best in his category, and all of the facemelting riffs by the three axe wielders... Anywho.
 22. O.o Sorry, everybody. Yesterday=not good. ^^ Moving on. Now, I have to say. Modern day coutnry can't stand up against old school country. Nor can hip hop. Actual rap= Fast licks, lyrics spitting here and there, K-os, Planet Asia. Etc. Bad Rap: Catchy sentences repeated over and over again, which involves no talent. They can be talking about bologna, and everybody down here would still listen...oh. Wait. Sorry, already had a song like that. Good Country: The stuff that matters. Old school Johnny Cash, verging on the line of Country and rock. Or even David Allen Coe, that dude was like...the pirate of country...or...something. Bad Country: The stuff that hasn't evolved. It evolved into something more poppy and different than old school country, and looky here. Since the nineties, it's stayed the same. It will always be the same. Albums sound exactly alike. CMT play two songs two different times...leaving you thinking..."Wait...Didn't I just hear this?" Newschool versus old school, :[ And to the conversation while ago. If you don't like screaming period, I assume you don't like Dave Matthews. Look into it. Ferrizzle. Yeah, Wiki's bad source, probably should've read through that once or twice lol. However, while so many people refer 'emo' as HH or other poprock/punk bands, they will never be emo. And Screamo is misused as well, for bands like Blessthefall or RJA, HH, or whatever. All that is just post/poprock/punk stuff. And prem....Do you mean to tell me that because Matt stopped screaming a little, A7X suddenly became better? City of Evil was a pure good album. Hands down, Matt didn't even have to sing at all, it was all in the band.
 23. Aha, don't be too afraid by that stuff. It's there to make them seem more badass than the next band. lol Good thing you don't live in Norway. P.S. Kudos to Kev.
 24.
While I do also like Death Cab For Cutie, Brand New, etc. (now we're on the subject of different types of emo), Hawthorne Heights and other such bands - Aiden included - turn ears into sea urchins. I cannot stand that kind of sound. And can everyone calm down, surely you are all entitled to opinions? EDIT: Umm... nah it's definitely a lot heavier than screamo lol.
Ahhhh. Well, Brand New and Aiden rool. Those are Punk/Post bands, like Post Hardcore and etc. I do have to say though...Worst musical artist= JT from HH. Man, I can't stand him. He messes up the vibe of the rest of the band, you know? But the guitarists are cool, but they need to work on originality a little. EDIT: Perhaps, you speak of bands like Cradle of Filth.
 25.
While I can tolerate most rap, 50 Cent makes me want to bust a cap. Generic indie bands that pop up here in the UK can get so annoying too. My most hated music is a type of metal I suppose; some people in this thread seem to know their stuff, so they could probably guess the type. It's like... all instruments are a thousand miles an hour, distorted guitars, no solos of any kind. Lots of low/high screaming. Is it speed metal? Does that even exist? lol
Perhaps. Speed metal does exist, but not sure if that's what your talking about. Perhaps it's what I was referring to before. Screamo. That comes in different packages. Any bands that you hate in the genre?
