They look as if they'd be burning up inside of them on stage. Anyway. They achieved something. By making their music different. And then, you have quite a few other bands that call themselves noise-core or whatever. They're not quite as...well. Good as the locust, in a sense that the locust is really good at what they do. Anyone listen to mewithoutYou? That band has started something, seriously. So many fans, so many haters, and the music is actually good. "I Never Said I was Brave" was a good EP, which was made up of hardcore songs, and then MWY changed their style to a soulful slowed down style. I've been a fan for a while, and these guys are really original, and while alot of people don't like this band, because of their style..Who cares? They're one of the few bands that sound different from other bands on Solid State records, and I'll give them credit for that. Songs I'd recommend- "Four Word Letter" "Dying is Strange and Hard" "Carousels" "We Know Who Our Enemies Are" (Aaron basically had a nice white-boy rap going on in this song xD) "The Cure for Pain" "In a Sweater Poorly Knit" Listen to them. It's a soap-opera basically, with mixtures of sci-fi and...well...strange hair styles, and lots of tatoos. That's basically a lame summary. But it's really good, it spans over relationship problems, drugs, pregnancy, oh yeah, and of course, kid-gangs fighting each other lol. You should see more. Tis Good. Well, I liked it atleast. But anyway, their music, while very short, is filled with alot of nice riffs...nice single bass action... bass...is there... harsh vocals...gang vocals.. nice lyrics... It's just there. Tis just band you have to hear for yourself. "Let's Get Serious Let's Get Married on TV" - Tarantuloco, [I]Chest[/I] And also.. "Calgary Boy (Soulja boy, Superman Cover)" - I Set My Friends on Fire That is a sweet song, for a rap cover. It fits in with Tarantuloco's genre, if you add in a hiphop beat and weird metalcore breakdowns at the end.[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]

I've been listening to... Oh... Southern Hardcore mostly.. He is Legend... Maylene... Etc. While these musicians have pretty much made a name for themselves, and picked up a new name for themselves in the sense of new albums, and losing fans... Maylene is a nice band. They have nice old-school riffs that remind me of Lynnard Skynnard mixed in with some metalcore riffs and breakdowns, with some of those fancy pitch harmonics, as well as alot of double-bass...which really doesn't say wooh for me, since it's something I've heard...alot.. And..Well.. I'm pretty much a Dallas Taylor fan.. So, got to give him credit for having such a nice voice. And also been listening to this band called In Irons... That band is pretty sweet too.. They mix Southern-hardcore with metalcore, but they have a sense of originality, and have so many other elements mixed in. You guys should check out some bands from this Record label called Holdfast Records. It's pretty much a hardcore/etc. record label, with a few different bands that have their own style..[/FONT][/SIZE]
