Besides my overall feeling of crappiness right now, I felt like throwing up a few times over the past week.

I would much enjoy it if you two (DuoMax and Rei) improved your post quality. I don't want this RPG to get filled with horrible posts. -------------------- Alan- "Honey! What can I do for you?" I couldn't remember her name... Jennifer- "Are we still going out tonight? I made reservations for seven." The color slid from my face. I had forgotten. No surprise there but our relationship had been on fragile ground lately. I had been working too much and she has been getting interested in other guys. This was going to be our 'makeup' time. "Alan?" Alan- "Of course. I'll be home by six." She gave a thankful sigh and hung up the phone. I looked at the clock. 5:31. Wow. How time had flown. I shut down my computer with an automatic thought. Putting my suitcoat back on I strode out of the office and into the lobby. "Lori? I'm going to take off. My wife just reminded me of our dinner reservations." Lori chuckled. Lori- "You better watch it Al. You're going to lose her." I nodded and walked out of the door. Alan- "And more than that..." I muttered. I stepped into my car and turned it on. The motor was silent. "Auto Pilot engage." Vehicle Computer- "Destination?" Alan- "Home." Vehicle Computer- "Confirmed. Aproximate travel time will twenty seven minutes and ten seconds." Alan- "Engage." I fastened my seatbelt and drifted into a doze as the car drove on the pre set travel-ways of New York. --- Vehicle Computer- "We have arrived at our destination." I was jarred out of my sleep. I nodded and removed my ingnition card. The door closed as I got out and I walked up to the door. Alan- "Fµck..." I couldn't remember the security clearence code. I tried one number and it was rejected. Another... It was rejected as well. The door was open and in the doorway was my wife, dressed in nothing but a robe. Jennifer- "I thought we might skip dinner." She grabbed my belt and led me up to our bedroom. She slowly undressed me as we made our way, kissing eachother passionately, over to the bed.

Death sucks. I know people have to die but they should never be allowed to take it themselves. Death should come slowly with old age. Not quickly with the pull of a trigger. Grief. Grief. Giref... Dammit to hell... With death comes grief. Obviously... Someone dies and we are sad. Duh... We loath death and it stalks us with a hungry eye. Cry cry. Cry. Cry. All better? No. Stuff like death takes a while. Can't get over it in a few hours. Can't get over it in a few days. It takes a while. Cry. Cry. Go away. I don't want to talk about it. Yes I do... Come back... Hold me... Help me... Love me... Goodbye Derick. I'm sorry I didn't get to say that yesterday...

Alan- "Mr... Mr... I'm sorry... I've forgotten your name." The man gave me a dissaproving look and flipped through some files. Jordonsen- "Jordonsen..." I smiled and gave him a grateful smile. Alan- "Mr Jordonson, your order of threehundred units is going to take a little longer than expected. I've run into a few problems in the CPU. It has a habit of overheating after a process of five million plus GigaHertz." Jordonsen raised his eyebrows. It looked very comical considering his eyebrows looked like huge furry caterpillars. Jordonsen- "Mr Drodrick... We will only need a minimum of one million to do what we require. Five million is far to much. Can you give us a smaller number?" I shook my head. Alan- "With this you will always have room for improvement. And the price stays the same. It stands at 1.2 million. Including crystal-optic servers and PDS screens." He nodded apparently exploring possibilities in his mind. Finnally, he nodded and brought out a check. I smiled my first genuine smile of the morning and escorted him out. I walked back in and handed the check to my secretary. "This will pay for that new hardware we've been wanting to develope. A three hundred percent profit. I love this job." She smiled at me and got the bank on the phone. I walked into my office sat down and closed my eyes. My computer turned on and began it's routine checkup. When it was done I activated the program and began running simulations to determine to see how long my memory would last. The results still weren't good. I had another day, maximum. I frowned and ran another three very quickly. They all came out the same with small differances. I had learned of the genetic experiments about two months ago and have been searching for a cure ever since. I have kept a contiuing search going on my fastest computer. It has turned up bits and pieces, but most of the good stuff I had to break into. The last of the people with the information to cure the memory degregation had went into hiding, and along with them the serums location. One of the people was rumored to be in Brazil. I was in New York. I wouldn't make it there in time no matter how fast I went. Lori- "Mr. Dodrick." Who was she talking too? "Mr. Dodrick?" Oh yeah... That's my name. Alan- "Sorry... What is it?" I removed my headset and looked at her. Lori- "Your wife wants to speak with you. Line three." Lori left and a light on my phone went on. I stared at it, attempting to remember my wife's name.

I got a little more info from a few friends since I posted this... He aparenty asked one of my other frineds out to the movies last night. She declined. He then injected himself with of heroin and shot himself... Perhaps he was so out of it that he didn't know what he was doing. *sigh* What's done is done... It is going to take a while but I will get over it. And thanks to all that offered to talk.

I went to school today stoked. I was going to give my girlfriend a dozen roses and a teddy bear. It was great. We hugged and held eachother for almost ten minutes. I get into second hour and an announcement comes on. One of our AP's told the school about a classmate of ours. He commited suicide last night. I knew him. He was a good friend. We shared a semester in Swim class together. That's a bond that should never be broken. I got together with a bunch of friends and cried. Everyone that I cried with had known him too. Everyone was really down today. Basically I wanted to make this thread so that he wouldn't be forgotten. I will never forget him. And I welcome any suggestions you all have on getting over this. Well at least one person has heard of them.... Anyone else?
-
Not an aBB my firend. An aßß. (Alt+S) :P

Indeed. Eh... I doubt anyone but the U.S. is going to be the first to strike. No one else wants to start it but Bush. They just want to be a player in the game, not the one that turns on the power. If we go to war with Iraq/N. Korea/Anyone Else That Wants To Fight Us we are going to drop into a depression. We'll be screwed for a while but will probably rise up again just like we have in the past.
-
No... of course not. And death be upon the first to copy your wonderful race.
-
A few more and I'll start it up. And I'd also like to ask DuoMax, Yashamon, and Rei to edit your posts to have only two enhanced abilities. I know I didn't specify but you guys are making yourselves almost invicible.
-
I thought it was funny when the guy forgot the words to his song... So he just kept singing "I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you" to a chromatic scale. Horrible...

Ryan- "We fight amongst ourselves... It's not a good way to win the war." Misha nodded in agreement. I frowned. Our group wasn't getting along well. Rali and Shalistrae seem to anger eachother simply by their presence. Where were we going? I should know the answer to that. I'm the one that organised this... I should know what to do... But I had expected strong, loyal, friendly people. Rali had shook my confidence. Misha- "So how are we taking down the Towers?" I looked at crained my face up at him and smiled. Ryan- "We will travel to the other world the Five are taking over and destroy the Towers there. They hsouldn't be as strong and certainly not as well protected. The Towers in this world are impenetrable. If we destroy their counterparts, it should weaken them enough for us to get in." He nodded grimly. Misha- "How do we get to the other world?" Ryan- "I have a friend that supposedly has a gateway between worlds. He made it by mixing many different kinds of magic. White, Black, Earthen, Necrotic... Just about everything... He then transefered the power into a stone monolith. All you have to do is walk through the monolith and you'll be in the other world." I turned my gaze back to the road. "The Village of Serene... I haven't been there for years..."

I'd have to agree with Kenji on this... Kind of odd and tacky...
-
Wow... That was too much NetGibberish for me. Clean up your posts Nim... I like the last the best. Very cool. The tatooing got a little close to his eye though.
-
Holy ****... Your banner made me dizzy S@bretooth... Wow... I really like the orange and black one. Good combo of colors.
-
Agreed. And plus you don't get all the laughage that comes your way from advanced people watching you fall over yourself when you try a simple thing like stopping....

I don't go a 'world', but more or less a place of solitude. I imagine myself to be in a cave. A nice cool, damp cave where you can hear the dripping of water in the distance. It completely dark except for the phosphorus mushrooms that litter the floor. They give off a calming blue light. Usually no one is there with me. But occasionally someone drops by and we talk.

What if you couldn't remember who you were? What if you woke up one day and had no memeory of who you were, where you were, or what you were? What would you do? ------ The current year is 2025. Twenty to thirty years ago, the U.S. Government and some un-named forces began experimenting in long term genetic enginnering. They would take small children, usually babies and inject nanomachines into their bloodstream. These small machines would produce DNA strands that would, in turn, replace certain strands of the childs DNA. Their first trials ended abruptly when the children experianced complete genetic dissipation (GD- a condition in which the DNA of an individual unravels). The government made an official announcement that it had stopped all experiments and would shun anyone that contiued it. ------ They did not stop. They only became more enthralled in their search to better humanity. Over the months that followed their experiments became more frequent. They also got better, more precise. The genetic manipulation began to show signs of working. Some children had enhanced senses. Some, enhanced physical abilities. Others, faint mental power. There was still one major flaw. After a period ot time, completely undeterminable, the subjects lost all memory. For some, it was weeks. Others, days. And still others, years. And not long after that they would experiance the GD syndrome. ------ The test subjects are the perfect weapons. That is what they were originally planned to be used for. After the protests and riots of 2021 all subjects were released from their training facilities and allowed to live as normal citizens. Some, with their obvious enhancements, were shunned and segregated from the communities of the world. Others, with less obvious abilities, blended in and kept their genetic manipulation a secret. But now the memory loss is beginning to set in. Bits and pieces of the specimens lives are beggining to fall away. Their girlfriends name. Their boyfriends name. Their names. Soon they will lose all memory of their lives, and soon after that ------ As a countermeasure for this strange side-effect the people made a serum that reversed it. Once sent into the body it would begin reconnecting the disconnected nueral pathways. Memories would surface almost immediately. After World War III the location of this serum was lost. Only the people that made it know where it is. They have went underground to avoid persecution. ------ This is where you begin. No memory. No past. No present. Only a future. It's in your hands. ____________ I hope this one becomes popular. Name: Age: (Between 19 and 29 please) Appearence: Abilities: (i.e. Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Smell/Sight/Hearing/Touch/Taste, Telekinesis, Empathy, Precognition etc... If you do decide to go with a psychic ability make it medium in strength.) ____________ Your background will unfold as you post. All you will know is that you have an ability that others do not. Good luck and Happy February.

I coulda swore there was already a thread and a large disscussion about this... Anyway, I believe that Square has no plans to remake FF7 onto the PS2. They thought about it for a while but decided against it. *Looks around for a second mouth to confirm/deny his info*
