Wow, I didn't know there were going to be that many RPG's coming out for the GC. I strongly hope that there's going to be another Earthbound game. I don't really know how great Skies of Arcadia is, but heck, I'll try it to see if I like it or not.

I'm a Texan, too.

Wow, I can't wait to get this game. I have Final Fantasy Adventure for the Game Boy and I loved it! The remake looks so nice, considering on how it used to look like in the original. (What the heck is Niccolo doing in there?! I don't mind Lil' Catus, but Niccolo?!) Anyway, I'm definately getting this game and Magical Vacation, if it ever does come here. I wonder what the second was about? I've only seen pics and heard it was quite an excellent game. Too bad it never came here, because I love the series. Maybe they'll remake it for the GBA.

Oh, I'm so sorry about your brother. Wish I had some big advice, but go ahead and let out your emotions. Oh yeah and one more thing. *hugs BabyGirl*

A friend and I are debating which type of RPG is better. Turn-based or Action-based. I honestly don't know. My friend says that he thinks action-based are better. He thinks all turn-based RPGs are the same and doing the same thing, opening a menu and choosing an attack, over and over is pretty boring. I don't know which is better. I said this: In turn the player is forced to use all characters and get used to how they fight, in most action the player has only one character(Kingdom Hearts-Sora Zelda-Link)to use and get used to. In turn the player has time to strategize, while in action you have to think on your feet. Also when you notice, turn based RPGs are longer and action-based RPGs are pretty easy to beat, but that's my opinion. So what do you guys think?

My best moment with the GC would be when me and a friend unlocked everything in Super Smash Bros. Melee. But I'm looking forward to the moment I get Zelda in my hands. ^^

When I was little I would almost always change the characters' names, I wish I could remember what some of them were. I do remember I changed some of FF9 characters' names. Vivi- Rob (me, I thought Vivi was really cool and I like Black Mages) Quina- QuQu(it just seemed to fit) But you should what my older brother called his characters in FF4. Cecil-Buti (it would be like "But-I gained a level") Edge-Milky(dunno why) Kain- Traito(would've Traitor, but it didn't fit) He still has the file, so I'll go look later to find the rest. In FF6 I replayed the game 2 more times to name the characters after people I know. The first time(I was Mog), my 8th grade class, and the second(Now I'm Sabin, heh) was after my high school friends this year. In the first one, most of friends matched with the characters in either personality or appearance.

Okay, story update. Sorry for taking so long, heh. Anyway, after Ally teleports Scott and the rest out of the school is when she explains. She says she comes from another world with kingdoms and technology, but it has been taken over by the same people who have taken over Scott's school. The group is called the Fallen Angels(not sure if I want to keep the name). They go from planet ti planet wreaking havoc and taking the planet's most precious treasure which, most of the time, strengthening the group. Not only do they take over the planet, but they take in people from the planets who want to join them. When they came to Ally's planet, they somehow learned about the crystals, which are called the Astral fragments(again not sure of the name). Before the Fallen Angels came, the king of Ally's world hid the Astral fragments deep in many worlds, because he knows about the ture power of the crystals. The king placed some of his loyal followers, one of them being her, in the areas he hid the crystals. Ally knows little about the Astral Fragments or the current condition of the king and his family, but she knows of another area on Earth where more Astral Fragments are hidden. She states that one of the areas has a guardian that researched the Astral Fragments and she's going to find him to learn more about crystals and find the rest of the guardians so they can fight off the Fallen Angels. She wishes for Scott, Davis, and Lisa to help. Of course they don't answer right away, but Scott says that if they decide to go, that the three of them will meet at the train station at the middle of the night to go to the airport, where Ally will wait. That night, Scott tells the whole story to his parents and tells them that he wishes to go. After a bit of convincing, Scott prepares and leaves for the train at the planned time. Davis and Lisa show up after Scott does and they're off to the airport. There, they meet up with Ally. She gives them the ability to use magic, but not fully, as it is not easy to give someone the ability to fully use magic. Ally tells Scott and the rest areas that have Astral fragments, where the guardian Ally spoke of might be. I don't know what area they'll go to first, let alone altogether, since I have a lot to choose from. I'm trying to get areas in North America. I'm also trying to limit 1 area per state. And I also want to avoid putting too many areas. Here's a list of what I have so far to choose from. Mount Rushmore- South Dakota San Francisco/Los Angeles-California Las Vegas-Nevada Miami/Orlando-Florida New York(My, so many to choose from there!) Chicago-Illinois Seattle-Washington Yellowstone National Park-Wyoming Grand Canyon-Arizona That's it. I mainly want to keep New York and Las Vegas(maybe if I don't pick Los Angeles). If anyone else to state some good spots for my characters to go, please go ahead. Or give me opinions about the ones I chose so far.
Originally posted by vegeta rocker What teacher would sponsor it anyway? Except for geometry teachers with no lives.
Funny, I actually have a geometry teacher in mind from my school that would probably sponsor an anime club. But an anime club would be pretty cool to have, I mean we have a video game club at my school, so why not an anime club?

My school only blocks AIM and anything with, ahem, dirty stuff in it. I'm pretty sure that's all since lets me on here, RPGamer, and Game FAQs, so I guess I'm lucky, at least for now.

Swords are cool. I had like a hundred plastic and wooden swords when I was a kid. I remember I took them outside and played with them thinking I was in a video game or something. Kinda of embarassing when I think about because I bet people who walked by thought I was wierd or something, but hey I was a kid! Man it would be pretty cool if I had a real one though.

Sorry for being a little late, but here's the next question: Agree or disagree. People can overcome their own problems.

Thank you for helping me! Okay let me see if I can give an outline of what I have in my story. There's a teenager name Scott and his school gets taken over by terroists. Before the school gets taken over by terroists, Scott has a dream that involves his school and he finds a trap door in one of the rooms. When the school gets taken over by terrorists, Scott is placed in a room with other students while the terrorists "prepare". Scott volunteers to take a chance and find a way out. He asks his friend Davis to come along. Scott and Davis sneak to the room where Scott dreamt about the trapdoor and it turns out it was real. Scott and Davis sneak into the trapdoor where they enter a tunnel. Inside the tunnel they meet a girl in a prison named Lisa. She's in prison because the terrorists put her in there when they caught her overhearing their conversation about taking over the school. Scott, Davis and Lisa find a way out of the tunnel. They find a payphone so they can call the police but they run into a terrorist and a chase begins. Scott and the others run inside a forest where they meet a dying man in robes. He gives Scott and Davis swords and Lisa a rod, then the terroist appears and kills the man. The terroist then summons a monster to kill Scott and the others, but they kill the monster with their new weapons. Scott and the rest escape and make it to another phone where they finally call the police. A police car comes to pick up the three teenagers, but the terroist appears and kills the policemen. Scott and the others run to a parking garage where the terroist appears and they fight. The teenagers defeat the terrorist but as he dies he turns into a monster. Another police car comes and picks up the teenagers and takes them to the school where other police cars are. Turns out that an invisible force is keeping people from entering the school. The teenagers tell the police of the tunnelthey found under the school. The police tell Scott and the others to stay, but they sneak after the police. When the police make it out of the tunnel and enter the school, they are caught by the terroists, but the teenagers aren't. They go back in the tunnel, but they find a new path in the tunnel. The new path takes them into a mine. At the end of the mine, Scott and the others find some students unconscious. One of them wakes up and tells the three that the terrorists are making the students and teachers work in the mine to find some type of material. The student then points to a glowing crystal in the wall. Apparently they found what the the terrorists are looking for. The terrorists appear with the police, so Scott and the rest have to surrender. The terrorists bring more students to mine more and they find a room full of the glowing crystals. One of them contains a girl. When one of the terrorist comes close to the crystal, a flash emits and the girl comes out. The terrorists call her the guardian and she introduces herself as Ally. The terrorists summon a monster which Ally loses against. The monster turns to Scott, Davis, and Lisa, but they manage to defeat it. Ally and the terrorists are amazed that the teenagers won. A terrorists, Lance, casts a spell to destroy Scott, Davis and Lisa, but Ally jumps in and casts a forcefield around them. More terrorists come to support Lance's spell. Ally says she's going to teleport them out, but Lance says that once they leave they'll use the crystals to make an impenetrable shield. Scott and Davis refuse to leave but they have no choice and Ally teleports them out. Here's where I stop, but I have bits of how everything goes. Tell me what you think and PM me or reply here. Thank you!

No tattoo for me. Nope, never. I would regret it in the future if I did get a tattoo. Plus the use of a needle doesn't help either.

As far as I know, it hasn't been released yet. I could be wrong, though. But man, I can't wait to get a hold of it.

Okay, I have written lots of stories in my life, but I never took my time to finish them. But this time I have one I want to finish because of my own reasons, one of which is because the characters are based on my friends. However, I want some help and I find all the stories made on this board quite interesting, so I ask if some of you guys could help me with my story. I'd greatly appreciate it!
-
Man am I glad that the next book is coming out. And two days after my b-day! Anyway, I heard a lot of things as to why it took so long for her to finish the book. Like she was being sued and I also heard she's having another kid. BTW, I hear Rowling already wrote the final chapter to the last book so that she knows which way the story is going to go. But of course no one will read that final chapter until the final book is out. Oh, the suspense is killing me!

Okay here's the next question my teacher asked: "Do you think that society encourages kids to grow up too fast?"
-
In my English class we're going over the book Catcher in the Rye, and boy are we having discussions. My teacher gives us a question to think about each day and we give out our answers to those questions and all of us of interesting point of views, so I thought I might ask the questions my teacher does to you guys and hear your answers and opinions. Here's the first question he asked: Is there something from your society that you think are "phony"?

I love KH! Good storyline, characters, and action. It was fun meeting the Disney characters(for me, some old friends). I beated it about a week ago and loved the ending! I fully completed it(beat all the hidden bosses, get Ultima Weapon, Save the King shield, Save the Queen staff, etc.) about three days ago. Now I'm thinking of replaying it on Expert Mode.(Thinking? Heck, I AM going to do it!)

I don't think anything bad like drugs or harassment has happened at my school, but that's probably because I don't really care. But now our school has a dog that is trained to sniff out guns and drugs. I don't think anyone has that type of stuff in my school, but of course they have to make sure nothing like that ever does happen.

Boohoo, I can't see the snowflakes! Oh well. Anyways, all I want for Christmas is a PS2 and Kingdom Hearts. And maybe a Game Boy Advance game. And maybe some happiness for my family and friends(in which includes you guys!)....

I live in good ol' Garland and I LOVE it when it rains. It's so nice to be in my room where it's nice and warm and play a video game or watch TV while hearing the rain in the background.

Ninjaman replied to GhostofSalvtore's topic in Noosphere
I will have to agree with GoS. Although I loved SSBM for quite a bit. After about 3 months, I stoppped playing it, but I found myself playing it again last week! But yes I do find GC disappointing so far. Mario was good, but I wasn't really attracted to buy it. It'll probably be one of those games I buy the next year. I still have yet to play Star Fox, but I have been hearing good things about it. So basically I will try that one out soon. The only other games I will look forward to playing is Metroid and Zelda. But we have yet to see if GC has something good up its sleeves. -
Homecoming week is like at the end of October for my highschool. But yes, I hate showing school spirit. But then again, it beats wearing the stupid school uniform. Let's see, what day did I actually participate in showing school spirit last year. Hmm, only one. Now that's how I show my school spirit!
