1.
Originally posted by Endymion Spoiler?? I heard that this was going to be the LAST Bond film. Don't know why, though
Maybe it's because Pierece Brosman (sp?) is getting old... Anyway, I think the song is pretty cool. I agree that the bleeding stomach trick was really cruel. I like the orchestra part of it the most; who wouldn've thought that techno and orchestra would be mixed? As for it being the theme of the next Bond movie, I think it suits the shoe well enough. It has a way different sound than the others, and I, personally, was getting kind of sick of the same theme before.
  2.
Originally posted by Tigervx THEY WILL PAY! NOW I MUST GO TO CN AND DEVOUR THEIR SOULS! after lunch. BUT THIS IS TICKING ME OFF!
My, aren't we overeacting? It is sad that they're taking the Saturday night block off, but CN has good reason to, no matter how much we don't like it. Little kids are getting access to shows that the shouldn't be getting on a T.V. channel that is usually based on kid programming. It's sad that it's off, but for moralistic support, not to mention being sued or something of that sort, it good.
  3.  I like to think I have good grades. I do pretty well on everything, and I usually have more A's and B's than I do any other grade letter, so I think it's justified to say I do well. ^^;;
  4. How did I know that you'd start this thread? My favortie character is Neece from the Choronicles of the Heroic Knight. ^^
  5. For whoever put me on thier list, thank you. I'm flattered. AnimeLover has my story right, to whoever was wondering where I was... Anyway, here's my list: Juuthena: But of course! Dyne has been a great friend to me, and always kept me laughin'! She's the best girl in the world, and I wouldn't change her for a thing! Phantom: Oh gosh...Mike's been there for me when I broke down, on more than one occasion, and has helped me grow in way I never knew I could. Love ya, bro! Boba Fett: He put up with me as newbie, and when I was first trying out my style. I appreciate his patience with me more than I can ever express, and he always saves me a pot in his SW RPGS Now is that a friend or what? Aries: Keh...not exactley sure why I respect him...just do! ^^ Duo God of Death:Bryan was the first person I met here, and he was nice through it all. He's a cool chiko, dude! Queen Asuka: I know I'm not well aquainted with her, but she has always seemed to be so nice, and she seems to have a hate level for DBZ as high as me. Mnelmoth: Amazing guy. Never one to miss an intelligent and thought-provoking post. Keep doin' what you do, man! ^.~ Cera: I'm noit close with this memebr either, but she seems to be one of the more senisble members here, and who couldn't appreciate that? There's more people, but those would have to be my main.

     They're okay, but I think they're just victims of the wannabe-rockers social stratus of today.
  7.  My name...hmm...not a really interesting story, nor original, but here's the story behind mine. I usually used to go by Fire_Lily, but I got bored with the name and tried for a more elusive name...and that led me to Mist. I liked it, it stuck, and I'm just me. ^^;
The second point, one which Duo might not make but I will anyway, is that, in America today, even with this level of paranoia, its a person is still free to -think- what they like. If I think a couple of planes flying into a couple of tall buildings and killing thousands of people is funny, I'm actually entitled to laugh. Of course, if I incite people to kill by seriously telling them to kill Americans cos they're all children of Satan...well then that's different.
Does it though? I mean, that's one of the basic reasons why 9/11 happened, correct? Although the two events may have been different in level and extremeity, I believe they held the same intent.
  10. Mara stared wistfully out of the window, her eyes gazing emotionlessly at Earth. She shook with a small, seething anger at the thought of the place. Her eyes flickered to her hands, scarred with the cuts and bruises of battles fought, won or lost. A tear began to course down her cheek, yet the woman felt nothing. "Those scouts...always something about them...too bad." She muttered, standing up, grabbing a cloak from nearby. "Jenna," she called to a servant, who stood cowering in the coner, "ready my couch. We go to Earth. It is time to show those scouts that evil will prevail."

     *Points up* What he said. ^^;;
  12. *points up* I agree. I think everyone will get too confused, and that if you don't like your name, then you shouldn't have picked it in the first place. Everyone is bound to be confused, and I really do hope that everyone won't be in a confused mayhem. "Are Anakin?" "Nope, I'm Leia." "But I thought you were Anakin..." "I was, but I changed my name." "Oh. Um...okay..."
Originally posted by DuoGod of Death I'm as patriotic as the rest, and yest I was ready to join the army and fight those terrist if I was old enough, but thats just wrong. I'm sorry but you have no right to beat someone up because of their beliefs. What that kid did was disrepectful to the tenth degree, but beating him up? Thats just wrong! That'll just increase his hatred, and others hatred towards America.
Try to be a little bit understanding in this situation, Bryan. You're country is being attacked; you're tense. Someone is cheering on those who are hurting your country and it's pride. You'd beat him up. I'd beat him up. Don't say "I would never do that!" because that isn't true. Don't put yourself in a situation that you haven't been placed in. Sure, it was wrong, but I wouldn't exactly be kind to the kid either.

     Yes! Someone else has heard of it. That shows hiliarious, not to mention so much fun! It has to be one of the funneist shows I know of, actually.
  17.
Originally posted by Domon I personally thought Simon was a bitter old man who had a hate the entire world attitude. 18. OOC: Ah, the chance to be a villian...I'm in! ------------------ Name: Mara Heartlock Appearance: Mara's long, curly raven hair is caught up in a statley bun, with tendrils of it bouncing by her forehead. She dons a tight red leather suit, supposedly for "hiding any blood she might spill". She carries a leather rod of the same bright red, and her emotionless grey eyes carry the authority that she definitly holds. Personality: Mara is very emotionless, but is very careful in her scheming. She is crpytic in more ways in one. She has a special interest in the scouts, and the powers the posses. She was once a scout, for a breif peroid of time, before quitting for an unknow reason. Power: She is the present holder of the time key. With a time key stolen from Sailor Pluto long ago, when she was once a comrade, Mara now uses it to travel demensions and conquer each land more than once, in their respected time period. Other:Stay the hell outta of her way. 'Nough said.
  19. Name:Mara Heartlock Age:17 Gender: Female Race: Half Elf Class:Time Mage/ Soceress Personality:Quiet and loving, Mara is easy too get along with. She is curious and loves to learn about new places and things. She's not into the whole "love" vibe. (sound familiar?) Armour/Clothes: Light, off-white robe that has golden lining. Underneath, an elaborate short, silver dress is cut down to the knees. Description: Mara has long raven hair and is very quiet. Her emerald eyes are very startling and cryptic, almost on the point of frighting. She is very thin, and somewhat flexible. Mara does not know much about her past, which makes her become very uncertain about her future. Bio/History: Mara was raised by her "father", a human, in the forest until she was nine-years-old. He was not really her father, but who had been taking care of her ever since she could remember. Her mother, an elf, had died at a very young age and Mara never known her well. Mara does not remember much about this period, except that in the middle of the night, her father told her to run. Mara arrived at the home of the elves, taking up residence in the same forest. They took her in and taught her the essence of being a time mage. She excelled and by age twenty, she left the elves to face the world... Spells: Wistqueria- reduces opponents physical strength Chronos- reduces opponents mana level. Gleia- Sends opponent into a world of silence, causing confusion. Peliquia- Calls upon an elemental fairy to aid. (Elements: Fire, wind, water, earth , and air) Kia- Molds the earth around her into whatever shape or form she pleases, and is controlled be her thought. (Ex. Golum) Ryune- A mere physical power blow without actually hitting the opponent. (Ex. Punch, kick, ect.)
  20.  *shivers* ALRIGHT! I'll spill...*sigh* I used to be a huge fan of Pokemon when I was younger, and had a bulbasaur doll. I still have that doll and it's the cutest little thing. Sure, pikachu was cute, but sometimes he seems to be more of a main character than Ash. They should have done more with Misty. That was a character...back in the day, anyway...^^;;
  21.
Originally posted by Cera I've never had to deal with that situation. Best to you and your friend, Mist.
I appreciate the wishes, but you might want to transfer them to the so-called "Mac-Daddy" of the situation.
  22.
Originally posted by ~*!Rei Hino!*~ I agree completely, I love Chi Chi to no end! :D She is such a strong woman, who knows how to take a damn stand. She's the only character I like from DBZ. And Goku deserves a good smack with a frying pan! ;)
I have no respect for any of the characters of DBZ; none at all. Sure, ChiChi is a strong character, but the creators obviously didn't catch on, and just made her a secondary character.
  23.
Originally posted by genkai_yyh  --____-- shut up:p
But she's right, Genkai. 'Relationship' was just a word that substituted another word that I couldn't remember.
  24. You know the sort of relationship that is mostly based upon looks? I'm pretty sure many have such a experiance. But have they cheated on you? Just recently, I found that a slime ball my best friend had been dating was dating three other girls. The funny thing about it was that I knew that he was with another girl, yet had been ignorant enough to think he had broken up with her for my friend. When I was alright with the "boy", he was talking about how "Awesome" and "Great" my friend was. Yeah...:rolleyes: just as great as all your other girls, eh?
  25.
Originally posted by Darkness Them singing other people's songs was to test their versatility.
Pfft. I just don't think so. Those people were virtuelly talentless. They sang other people's songs, and the only creativeness they brought to the songs was changing their tones and touching fans hands...oh wait, that's not creativity, that's a redudant form in the mainstream BS we see every day. Honestly, how anyone enjoys a bunch of people 'strutting their stuff', when not giving ou their own style is foolish, not to mention annoying and un-enterntaining.
