I've only tried coffee once, but I certainly wasn't impressed. first I tried it with barely any sugar or cream, and it tasted horrible. but as I kept adding sugar and cream to it, it ended up tasting horrible and increasingly unappetizingly sweet at the same time. one of my friends said at first she didn't like coffee either, but after about the fifth or sixth time drinking it, she got used to it. why would you want to get used to something that tastes bad to begin with, when you could just drink something else? the fact that you have to add, oh, *ten cups of sugar and cream to it (would you like some coffee with that?) should tell ya something right there, I would think. *sarcasm*

my favorite shirt (which I do not own), would be this shirt with a camo pattern on it that says "You can't see me!" I saw it at Gadzooks, I think. would've snatched that sucker up the second I saw it if I'd had the money on me to do it. my next favorite shirt (which I do own) is navy blue and has FBI Academy written in big white letters on the front. it's got holes in it everywhere, but I wear it as a pajama top. it's mighty comfy. ^_^

and to think that I've been under his sinful, brainwashing influence for so long that I never saw him for what he really was. until now. you've just saved a life today, Boba Fett.

personally, I'm pretty satisfied with just the one piercing in each of my ears. I'm not sure if I'd want to get anything else pierced, lol. as for other people, I think that on the right person, most any piercing (face-wise) would look good, as long as the items being shoved through said person's face wasn't obnoxiously large. but no more than a couple of things at a time; too much at once is a bit offsetting. everything in moderation. ;)

Scooter Girl was fun to watch at first, but the novelty wore off pretty quickly. I didn't see the last episode, so I don't know everything that went down. I am a bit relieved she's off now though. so far I'm still not rooting (sp?) for anyone in particular yet. that cocky Simon-hater girl is pretty good though; right now I'm puttin' my money on her. even if I don't particularly like her :shifty:. has anyone seen this movie yet? I'm probably not going to be seeing it for a looong time, but from all I've heard about it, it's an excellent movie. even the few who didn't like the movie as much admitted that Charlize Theron's (Cider House Rules, Italian Job) acting was really what made the movie as good as it was, which is really something, if one actor/ess can carry an entire movie. but supposedly it's one of those movies that's definitely not for those with weak whatever's (or something ), because of a lot of the things that involve her in the movie (if you know what all happens in the movie, it should be easy to see why). so yeah, anyone who has comments, please post them.

The most awful taste ever! (sensitive people watch out!)
amibasuki replied to Circ's topic in General Discussion
the most awful taste is vomit. period. if you've eaten something bad, imagine what it's like tasting it a second time, except worse. I'm not going into any more detail. >.>' *shudders* -
Originally posted by Ryu_Sakura Oh, just to tell you any other person could have done better, but what he did was stupid, foolish, and a waste of cash, and no I highly doubt they woud've attaked if someone eles was in office. But, just let me say this: "Bush is an idiot, another person would have atempted to prevent war, but he didn't in fact he seemed eger." So, i may not be the smartest or most politicly aware. that is all i have to say, of and I don't have a TV. only a porsible dvd player the TV broke 2 years ago, and i havent gotten off my but long enough to fix it. and i relized that it was planned but like i said, we could have prevented some death and damage to the Iraqi people with the help of a more educated president, her ataced with our thinking all the pros and cons of attacing at a time of economical crisi, in our own land. How do you think we could help another contry when we were in trouble our selves? Do me the favor, think about that. Sorry if that seems like rambling, oh and I took over my daughter's computer for the moment, so thats my bit. ~Sakura's Mom.
now THAT reads more like the Ryu_Sakura I've come to know! you had me going there for a second with your first post. if you're not "politically aware" of what's going on, then why are you posting on something you know almost nothing about? and how can you possibly make fun of the way George Bush speaks when you yourself can't form a decent sentence to save your life? I'm not going to bother defending Bush's actions, considering it's been done at least a hundred times already in past threads. if you want to "politically educate" yourself, try reading up on them.

I love reading your threads. you always say the silliest things. *tee-hee!* how about you try being held responsible for an entire country, and see if you can please every person who has their own idea about how a country should be run. or if you could do better. ;)
Originally posted by Chichiri's Girl Yeah i'm alsomildly surprised that song had become such a big hit. If you listen close to some of the lyrics...in the part where he isn't really singing well....you find out for yourself. :p Anyways songs I think are annoying? Well back when the song was popular 'Picture' by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow always made me want to strangle somebody....
THAT was the other song I was trying to think of! all I've heard from Sheryll Crow in the past year has been garbage, and I've never liked Kid Rock in the first place, so putting the two together is hell. lol yeah, the first thing I thought of when I heard the lead singer was "hey, he kinda sounds like the Radiohead singer!" my favorite song from the Absolution CD is probably Stockholm Syndrome, if just for the energy alone. I like most everything on the CD, though it's been awhile since I've listened to it, so specific examples are hard to remember. I'm glad to hear that they might be selling more of their CD's here in the U.S. Been wanting to see what Origin of Symmetry is like ^_^.

that single that Liz Phair put out drives me absolutely insanse. I hated it the first time I heard it, and I hate it more now because by some grace of God (to her) it seems to be popular around here. plus it's played on at least two movie advertisements, so not only do I hear it on the radio twice an hour (when I have to listen to it), I can't watch TV without hearing it either. I honestly don't like any aspect of that song. the fact that it is so popular despite it being wretchingly horrible makes it twice as annoying.

.....*sniff* that makes me feel better. I like that pompous shadow bit.

I love the Master Shake. he's like a Space Ghost, except without the magical powers... and unitard. he's the biggest bozo out of the three of them, but he still thinks he's the coolest. usually I hate those types of characters, but whatever, lol. I haven't seen anything more than about a handful of episodes, so I can't contribute anything else that could be useful to the discussion, meh. I watch it whenever I see it's on. not exactly sure why though. 0_o'

my first date was prom actually, lol. the actual prom part wasn't all that great (the 'dance', I guess you could call it), but the get-together afterwards was a lot better. and I loved the dressing up part. my hair and dress looked so purty ^_^. the really nice part of it was that me and the guy who asked me to it ended up 'going out' a couple of weeks later. we still get along well even though we don't go out anymore. but yes, my first date was pretty nice, overall.

Anime Do you use anime/manga for school projects or assignments?
amibasuki replied to Marron347's topic in Otaku Central
I once did a project on researching anime/manga that came out the year I was born (it was one of those easy-cheesy grades in 8th grade, lol). It was pretty easy; all I had to do was write a one-page paper and create a visual *cough* posterboard. I got stuff like Akira (movie-wise), Project A-Ko, Ranma 1/2, some Robot anime, Dirty Pair, and a couple of other titles. got quite a few compliments on the posterboard, I'm happy to say. -
I liked The Wedding Singer, Anger Management (yeeeuh!), and Happy Gillmore. nothing else particularly stood out though. except for Eight Crazy Nights, but in a horribly bad way.

blip. I've written some songs and stuff like that. they all suck though :cross:. back in my middle school during 6th grade, a couple of my friends and I tried starting a singing group. seriously loads of fun. that was back when the whole boy-band thing was huge; we wanted to be the female version of NSYNC, lol. not ashamed to say it, really. just twelve-year old girls having a good time during recess. also gives me something to snicker about every now and then, heh. we wrote about five songs or so, and even put tunes and some harmony to them. I thought we sounded pretty darn good. course, I can't go off of that now, cuz who knows how good*cough*bad*cough* we actually sounded. we had some of the cheesiest of the cheese songs though, lol. one of my friends kept a copy of one of the songs I wrote, and now it's a source of endless amusement (for her, nyeh). so yeah. I write crap. *go me!*

it's been a while, but I remember I liked what I heard from them. one of my favorite songs was "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger," (or something like that). the music videos are all anime-ish and stuff too, which appealed to me back when I first found out about them (teh anime phase). I'd like to know more about this new album though. ...*wink*... ?

if you wanna try somethin' really weird, dip your fat n' fluffy cheetos in a container of ranch dip. it tastes absolutely horrible. but my youngest sister seems to like it well enough. about the most bizarre thing I've eaten (and liked) is Wendy's fries dipped in a chocolate Frosty. *gasp* yep, not too bad. well, that's the only thing I can think of. I just wanted to mention the cheetos.

I saw Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines last night. my mom rented all three of the Terminators so I could see them (she insisted), and while I thought the first two were okay, the third one was just blah, for the most part. it had some pretty good parts in some places, but I had to force myself to finish watching the movie. maybe it had to do with the change in directors, but I doubt he could've done much with it anyway. it had the same stuff that the previous two movies had, except less of it, and a bad ending. figured they'd obviously try doing a 4th installment after an ending like that, but with the third movie being as boring as it was, what's there to look forward to if they actually do make a fourth one? if you've already seen the first three, you know what's going to happen anyway. personally I'd rather leave it to my imagination to figure how it comes about rather than waste money to watch another blah-ish 2-hour movie. Terminator 3 rating: 4

marching band was so awesome for me last year. I was on pretty good terms with everybody in our group, got to play my favorite instrument (quints ^_^), and had fun at all the games and such. *sigh* happy memories. this year really bit though. we ended up losing two section leaders back to back because of grade issues >.>', so I ended up being section leader. I wouldn't have minded much if there weren't any think-they-know-it-all jacks who tried getting attitudes if they didn't agree with something I told them to do ("No, you're doing it wrong!" 98% of the time, I was the one that was right. go figure). didn't help that I was stressed most of the time (from people in my section, schoolwork and lack of time to do it in, and lack of sleep). after thinking it over for a month or so, I decided that I'm not going to do marching band next year. if I stayed in, I'd be section leader again. no way I'm gonna do that anymore, given a lot of the people that I had to deal with this year (who are all staying; I don't even want to think about the upcoming freshmen, who I've already taken a look at). even if I wasn't, the next person up for it would be the guy who gave me the most hell out of everybody. there is absolutely NO WAY I'm gonna be ordered around by that incompetent what-have-you. the main reason why I decided to drop band though is because my grades went really bad during marching season. not failing, but a couple of them were pretty close to it. given the fact that grades are more important than band, and that I've got next to nothing to look forward to for next year, grades outweigh band single-handedly. and wouldn'tcha know, ever since football season's been over, the not-so-stellar grades I had gotten have gone up at least one letter, if not more, heh. so yay. even though not all the times at band were particularly pleasant, it'll definitely stick with me for awhile.

recently I've started going through my CD case and listening to all my CD's over again, to see what I think of them now, and to make sure that they still work decently :cross:. but the song I've been listening to the most lately is Linus and Lucy from Peanuts. the whole song is pretty awesome. my dad wants me to learn how to play it, so he got the sheet music and a download to listen to in the mean time.
