As my first public dies out slowly (only 3 sidedeck slots left), I think it's time to start a new one: 1. Poison of the Old Man As seen in the first deck, I start these out with cards I just happen to llike. Poison is usually restricted to burner of various sorts, stall and Magical Scientist decks, but I hapen to think he's the best "MST bait" there is, short of Dark Coffin, since YOU choose the effect of Poison of the old. Quick summary of the rules: 1 card per post is allowed only, unless adding multiples of the same card. and... er... that's all folks! Let's get this thing rock'n rollin'!

1. Sinister Serpent 2. Ring of Destruction 3. Snatch Steal 4. Book of the Moon 5. Book of the Moon 6. Magical Scientist 7. Summoned Skull 8. Magician of Faith 9. Fiber Jar 10. Time Wizard 11. Premature Burial 12. Nobleman of Crossout As I said, My favorite of dealing with this sidedeck is adding staples of various level, so let's keep it up with 13. Sangan A definite staple, considering the rather high number of low ATK monsters that were somehow added to this deck.

I have this antigingivitis oral rinse, called Peridex, with chlorhexidine gluconate, and I must say it definitely is the most horible thing I've ever tasted. Sour milk is nearly as awful (And I'm a connaisseur), but Peridex's taste doesn't let itself wash out with water. It's like it clinges to your saliva, and it takes nearly an hour before your get rid of it. What are your experiences of horrible tastes? (outside spicyness, which is not a taste in himself)

People needs to get more original  Name: Inkjet Age: 20 Gender: male Height: 5'6'' Weight: 100 lbs Animal DNA Donors (Max 3): Octopus Special Abilities (from Animals): Arms replaced with fully functionnal tentacle (can be used as hands, unbreakable hold, and allow to clinge to any surface), ability to breath underwater, swim as fast as a runner, and the possibility to spit ink from an aditional gland in the palate either as a jet for bliding, or a small cloud 1-2 yards in diameter. Personality: Inkjet has been grown from his yougnest age as a über-mensch, treated and taught as such. He believe himself and the others to be the future strike force of the world and is intent on making it work. He require respect, and once ripped off a leg from a guard who ordered him around rudely. Faction: organization

All in all, I must say Terrorking is a scary card. It's basically a level 4 Ha Des with an atk that gets through 1900 beatsticks. "Gemini Elf? Sapphire Dragon? Puh!" Among other archfiends, he's extremely powerful, and a 800 lp cost is certainly not that bad when many people can pay 2000 several times for Lily. Besides, you can't pay yourself to death. Fortunately, he is hardly of any use outside archfiends decks. Come on, don't tell me you would go through the trouble of dropping this specific monster just to revive him when you could do the same for a Despair from the Dark or Jinzo, both of which can be summoned separartely and have useful effects? You will argue that Despair is a 2 tributes, but these have been made easier, and it barely loses power in zombie decks. As for other special summoning models, you can't get them all in a deck, and frankly, I believe most of the time, you'll curse yourself for having drawn it. This card is 1.5 for general decks. 5 for archfiends.

1. Sinister Serpent 2. Ring of Destruction 3. Snatch Steal 4. Book of the Moon 5. Book of the Moon 6. Magical Scientist 7. Summoned Skull 8. Magician of Faith 9. Fiber Jar 10. Time Wizard Snodin, I think you should have a look at the deck, Monster Reborn is card #6. I'm pursuing on the trend and adding 11. Premature Burial One of the members of the applaused Monster Recovery trio (Or quatuor, depending on your position about Autonomous Action Unit), it bears small inconvenients to getting a Witch, Jinzo, or Goblin Attack Force back from the graveyard.

When you post, there is that "vB Code" section just above the text area, in there, you are supposed to have a "COLOR" drop-down list with all the standard colors. ;) Although I've never actually tried it, I'm fairly sure you can use all the colors you could use in HTML.

A new blog layout by yours truly. Surprising what a getty images search with something as vague as "nostalgia" can get you. Even though the title is rather inappropriate for the image (at first I wanted to use "FEET!" but that one sounded better :D ). Any ratings or comments will be appreciated.

Anime How typical, Upperdeck shows its ignorance yet again.
Circ replied to Domon's topic in Otaku Central
If I correctly remember, Threat of the Demon World was out about at the same time as Labyrinth of Nightmare here and yet they never figured out the problems with Dark Scorpion or Amazoness cards, and it was still time to adjust Lesser Fiend, Fiend Skull Dragon and Shadow Tamer, yet they did not. Never. Either KoA is totally unaware that there are MORE sets released in Japan than in Americe (Which I hardly believe), or they do that on total purpose of spoilers! They don't want to reveal the future sets. Or they could just be plain stupid enough to do that. I'd have expected them to create a new category of monsters for guardians (like they did with archfiends), but they just used the big stupid formula. I just hope they won't be crazy enough to have OTHER cards in future sets with guardian in their names. -
Name: Mark Tymour Age: 34 Gender: male Ability: Electrokinesis. Mark can disrupt electric field, causing surges or dampening them. He can also cause horrible headaches by disrupting nervous impulses in the brain. Nationality: Canadian Occupation: Stock Broker Weapon: A staff with a blade at both extremities he bought on a travel in China, but he's a bit clumsy with it. (That weapon has a name, but I don't remember it  ) Appearance: pic Location: Toronto Stock Exchange Bio: Mark Tymour was born to a wealthy torontonian family. From his youngest age, he demonstrated an amazing talent with numbers and accounting, so his parents happily funded his studying and the best universities one could offer. While he was at the bank with his aging mother, a group of thug attempted to rob the bank, but a mysterous surge in the building's power system caused a burst of lightning from the elegant chandelier to hit the thugs, killing two of them. After several similar incidents, Mark began to experiment his power, to a point with which the Toronto Stock Exchange had their whole electrical system checked due to the frequency of the surges Mark used to crash the computers when the prices when too high or too low. He lived in fear of someone discovering his secret, a fear that realized the day a strange shrouded man stopped him in his house's entrance, saying he'd have a proposition. Mark is there mostly out of fear. Fear for his family's reputation, fear from emprisonment, fear from being executated. He's a bit impressionable, and pointing a gun at him to joke is a good way to get your brains fried out. Mark suffer from Indiana Jones syndrom: he always gets in a bit more of trouble than he can get out aone, leaving him battered and bruised, but alive.

You know, if you forget Sonic Duck (Can't believe it is a level 3...), 1200 is not bad at all for a level 3.
Originally posted by Alucardfire Since Scientist demands a fusion deck to be its source of power.
Yup, and let's not forget there's a metamorphosis in there, too. 1. Sinister Serpent 2. Ring of Destruction 3. Snatch Steal 4. Book of the Moon 5. Book of the Moon 6. Magical Scientist 7. Summoned Skull On the pursuit of helping to balance the deck out, I'm proposing 8. Magician of Faith People might argue a lot about it, but I can't believe there won't be any useable magic card by the time this baby comes out. I won't dwell on the "counters" there are to it, every smeared card ([sarcasm]Yes, that includes such things as Vampire Lord and Jinzo[/sarcasm]) has one, get over it

That's mostly CSS work, isn't it? I don't use my account, so I can't tell too which extent it's supposed to be customizable.

My sleep pattern is mostly built off school and family. I have a mother who have to get uo early, so she usually goes to bed around 10:00-10:30, then I have a 8 years old sister who's up around 6:00/6:30 every sick morning. It has to be said I can't have "not total" sleep (AKA, half-awake sleep, which I find just as good as profound sleep) with the noise my goddamn sister makes in the house (I hate kids, you have no idea how much I do). Result: I can rarely wake up nearly as late as I would like to. If my family is there, 9:30/10:00 is the latest I can go before I can't bear it and decide I get up. If the family's gone, i can go up to 12:30 (like this morning). Also, for some reason, I can go to bed at ANY hour, I'm still awake at 6:00 AM for at least 20 minutes. Internal clock does that. *ythrow internal clock on the wall* So that's it for my sleep pattern.

I can hardly relate to much of these. I live in Quebec City's suburb, so crossing the street was never a big deal for me, though some places along my street are not easy to cross. There's only one pedestrian light in my town. Quebec city has a lot of pedestrian light and one-ways, so crossing the road is hardly an issue there. I've been told Montreal is another story. I've been in France once, and I was actually surprised how carelessly you can cross the road. The French are much more respectuous of the pedestrian priority.
Originally posted by DeathBug Most decks only want one tribute anyway, and, for most of them, Jinzo is the superior monster.
Actually, a 20/20 deck can support 3 tribute monsters without too much trouble, but the current tendency is to run about 15-16 monsters, which can hardly support more than one tribute monster without risk.

Actually, that's because you suggested 3 cards in that posts. You'll notice that I have steadily ignored posts who suggested more than a card (Unles I myself chose the card in a later post). I was free to choose a card I wanted in my post. And I did express what was a personnal opinion. Sue me. Just for the update: 1. Sinister Serpent 2. Ring of Destruction 3. Snatch Steal 4. Book of the Moon 5. Book of the Moon 6. Magical Scientist

Sidedeck 1. Sinister Serpent 2. Ring of Destruction 3. Snatch Steal Let's recidive: 4. Book of the Moon 5. Book of the Moon An old favorite, and extremely versatile card, I'm sure we'll be able to use it quite regularly. It's certainly not a staple, but most definitely not a card that should be frowned upon.

1. Lesser Fiend 2. Dark Ruler ha des 3. Yata Garasu 4. Helpoemer 5. Raigeki 6. Monster Reborn 7. Ominous Fortunetelling 8. Delinquent Duo 9. Painful Choice 10. Spear Cretin 11. Winged Minion 12. Breaker the Magical Warrior 45. Big Eye ATTENTION! From now on, we are working on Side-deck only. 1. Sinister Serpent A needed protection against hand disruption, and a semi-staple that was completely forgotten along the way.

1. Lesser Fiend 2. Dark Ruler ha des 3. Yata Garasu 4. Helpoemer 5. Raigeki 6. Monster Reborn 7. Ominous Fortunetelling 8. Delinquent Duo 9. Painful Choice 10. Spear Cretin 11. Winged Minion 12. Magic Cylinder 33. Newdoria 34. Dark Jeroid 36. Heavy Storm 37. Dark Hole 38. Giant Orc 39. Giant Orc 40. Tribe-infecting Virus 41. Mirror Force 42. Bottomless Trap Hole hum... Now this just gets plain fun. I'm pursuing on with 43. Witch of the Black This has been unoticed the whole time? Come on, people! It's the ione monster staple! (well, to me at least) It allows to get just about all the monsters in the deck... Oh well. It's corrected now. Master dramon: I'm sorry, but you have to choose a single card. Alucard: I am NOT going to edit the deck to be more to my liking. That's the whole point of the concept, let people add the card they feel like adding freely, even if it doesn't make sense. So far, I think the deck is not that bad. It would certainly fair badly in Tournament, but it's not so bad if it's a casual deck, except maybe a bit too much tribute monsters... (Which is not even that bad considering the possibilities it give Metamorphosis) If you want, you'll criticize the thing once we've done, but right now, If you still want to correct the "flaws" of the deck, get on quick, we've only got 2 posts before we start working up the sidedeck... (Fusion deck is left to the player's discretion, But I'll make a suggestion)

I've said it: it is an exploration post. I'm not actualy *starting* a RPG I just want opinions, ideas and suggestions. I've actualy never seen a RPG that much "alien", and I'm not even sure I could make it work (both times I attempted to start a RPG I had trouble with the story and the players). But apparently, this was either the wrong forum (much more probable) and wrong title

Lol... It's pretty hard to explain if you haven't read the novel, actually. The main idea is that cats are just as much intelligent, but the psychology of the species are completely different, leading to quite a lot of misunderstanding.
-
This is an idea I got after reading the excellent "Les Neuf Vies d'Edward" (Edward's nine lives) by quebecer author Chrystine Brouillet. In this RPG, people play cats and dogs, family pets and the like. Cats have the possibility to have lived up to 5 lives (though they can hardly remember the first). What makes this interesting is: your masters doesn't necessarily understand you. (Actually, they'll probably interpret what you try to make them understand so it goes the way they want it, human can be so stupid...) They don't see things the same way you do (Cats and Dogs have extremely kin sense of smell, and often judge people on that base). They act strangely (cook meat?). So here I'm just looking how the ground lies, getting feelings and suggestion for roleplay. Thanks. This is NOT anyhting movie-like, except maybe a bit 101 Dalmatians (without the cooperation thing XD), so forget the Aristocats, the Cats & Dogs movie, and most animated movies.

Writing Price Check for a Duel (A Yu-Gi-Oh Comedy)
Circ replied to Bandit Joeykuba's topic in Creative Works
That was horribly funny. Really made me smile. Can't wait to see the actual duel ;) (or is that:eek:?) -
1. Lesser Fiend 2. Dark Ruler ha des 3. Yata Garasu 4. Helpoemer 5. Raigeki 6. Monster Reborn 7. Ominous Fortunetelling 8. Delinquent Duo 9. Painful Choice 10. Spear Cretin 11. Winged Minion 12. Archfiend Soldier 13. Dark Necrofear 14. Metamorphosis 15. Wall of Illusion 16. Waboku 17. Graceful Charity 18. Mirror Force 19. Spirit Reaper 20. Pot of Greed 21. Kuriboh 22. Change of Heart 23. Harpie's Feather Duster 24. Mystical Space Typhoon 25. Mystical Space Typhoon 26. Mystical Space Typhoon 27. Imperial Order 28. Opticlops 29. Giant Germ 30. Giant Germ 31. Giant Germ 32. Magic Cylinder 33. Newdoria 34. Dark Jeroid 36. Heavy Storm We've still got 9 cards (to a total of 45) to add, And I'll start with 37. Dark Hole The classy mass monster removal, and another very needed magic card. The favorite for combo with Yata Garasu or Don Zaloog. Remember people, only one card, unless you're adding 2/3 identical ones ;)
