>>not obvious to me but i suppose this my first time in a forum>> I doubt many forums do this sort of thing. In reality the banners, clubs, and marriage were probably started by one person and followed by others how liked the idea. That is just how people are. Humans are pack animals and tend to follow other people's examples. Besides, like Jesus Chicken said, it is just for fun. ;)

*Kell's garage was filled with the sound of moving actuators as Kay's Gunsniper walked out of the large door and into the back of Kay's transporter. As the zoid crouched down the sides of the transporter raised from the ground and locked above the zoid's head. On his way out of the vehicle Kay hit a switch to close the back door. Before Kay could reach the cab Kell walked outside.* Kell: "What's all this racket at this time of the day?" Kay: "I'm heading out to the firing range to get in some practice. Hopefully I can find some work too." *With that Kay hopped into the driver's seat and drove off. The drive to the range was quiet, which pleased Kay. By the time he got there a few others had already started running the course, meaning there would be a slight wait. While waiting for the Red Horn ahead of him to finish Kay checked his systems. Fianlly his wait had ended and he headed out on the track. At first it was easy, consisting of high speed movements, weapons dodging and stationary targets. The hard part was the skeet shooting. The targets were launched faster then any ground zoid could hope to move, and were smaller then the head of Kay's Gunsniper. Kay activated his gatling guns and fired away. Only one of the targets managed to escaped, since it was blocked by another at the time. Kay ended his day with his favorite part, the sniper range. The worse part of the sniper range was that the targets were too slow, just to give the rookies a chance to hit them. Kay marched his Gunsniper off the range and back to his transport.*
Originally posted by IkkiMechaPilot I found a seriously glitched area! Check out phelta lonely oblivious fort walls there are olny two levels to the bacement and the gott statue treasure holds a stormlordhelm and two yellow candies. Its not corupted either so im wondering now.
Which server? I cannot tell if that is supposed to be Delta or another. Also, what is the area's level? I am not surprised that it holds a high level item. It may have been intentionally set up like that. Some levels are designed with high level items in the tresure chests.
Originally posted by DemonzDragoon Are these suppossed to be the bad guys of all the project hack series?
More or less. They are the strongest level of the .Hack game's bosses. Their exact purpose is unknown as of yet, but they work for (and were created by) Morganna.

OOC: I just realized there is someone else with a character named Kai. To avoid confusion I am changing the spelling of my character's name to "Kay" (same as it is pronounced). IC: *At the sight of the Lightning Saix attacking the girl and her organoid Kay charged back to the shop and grabbed his Gunsniper. The black skin of the zoid reflected very little light as it charged after the Saix at top speed. A burst from the zoid's jets launched it up into the air and down about forty meters from the Saix's left flank. Kay let loose with the Gunsniper's right arm chain gun, placing the rounds into the ground as a warning shot, then opened a communication line to the Saix.* Kay: "I don't know who you are, nor do I have any reason to care why you are attacking someone on foot from a zoid. All I know is that I dislike you idea of a fair fight. Leave here now, or you will have to deal with me.* *To place emphasis on his point, Kay flicked a switch on his control stick and the twin missile launchers swung to the side, revealing the twin gatling guns between them.*

i dont want to spam.....so, guid me to the right path ^^;
Zephyr replied to lea's topic in Help & Feedback
In the Anime Lounge thread there is a sticky post at the top that shows the difference between "Spam favorite" and "Proper favorite" threads. Basically, if you provide a good description of why it is your favorite everything should be okay. For you favorite recipes thread I would suggest asking people to post suggestions on changes that can be made to the orginal recipe. That way there is something to discuss. (Just an idea) -
Kell: "Looks like you may get a chance to find something interesting on your own for now. No one has asked to hire you yet." Kai: "Finally, a chance to relax. You mind if I bring my Gunsniper in?" Kell: "Go ahead. It will be a good chance to replace those 4-barrels you insisted on having." Kai: "Good idea. They are starting to wear out anyway." *The next few hours were spent swapping out a pair of custom, quad-barrel gattling guns mounted on the insides of the missile racks. Because of this configuration the launchers had been moved outward slightly and redesigned to swing down to either side. This allowed the gatling guns to remain hidden behind the cockpit, and thus keep a low profile on the Gunsniper.* Kai: "I think I am gonna head into town a grab something to eat. You want anything?" Kell: "Nah. I'll find something later." *Kai shrugged and left the garage, looking for the diner he frequented.*

I thought that SK said "Lame" during his impression of Sora. Oh, well. Too late to check now that I recorded over it. :p

*On the outskirts of town a cloud of dust was kicked up by a large transport van. In the driver's seat was Kai, better known as Heimdall. The cloud began to dissipate as the transport neared the city and had to slow down. Kai looked around as he drove, watching for any shops that may carry something he wanted. Within seven minutes he reached his destination, a small zoid garage.* Kai: "Old man. Hey, old man!" Kell: "I thought I told you to stop that. I am only 34." Kai: "Yeah, but you look at least 45." *Kai laughed as the owner grumbled under his breath.* Kell: "I asume you are here to see if you got a job right?" Kai: "Yep. You got it. I just hope that I find a good job soon. Everyone keeps sending after worthless targets. I am getting bored." OOC: If anyone feels like hiring my character PM me about.

A: To ensure that when he logged out he would have a negative attitude and thus awaken a "Warped Aura". Q: How did Sora find Morganna's realm? (Just to make sure you were paying attention) ;)
-
Name: Heimdall (real name: Kai) Age: Between 18-20, exact age unknown Appearence: Black jumpsuit, boots and gloves. White, hooded cloak. Small computer on left wrist. Lightly tanned skin, brown hair brown/green eyes. Approx. 6' tall. Team: Highest bidder Bio: After having lost his family to a rouge Zoid unit durning the war, Kai (pronounced Kay) spent years hunting the pilot that killed his family. Along the way he learned assassin tactics and Zoid piloting, and gained many connections. After finally killing the pilot he was caught by a royal guard and hired as a spy instead of being executed, and named Heimdall after the one that watched the Bifrost bridge in Norse mythology. In mid-assignment he disappeared and now works for whoever pays him enough. Zoid: Modified Gunsniper Ultimate X: No thanks.

Anime (US/CAN) General Thoughts and Ratings for .hack//SIGN 24 "Net Slum."
Zephyr replied to teptep's topic in Otaku Central
Rating: 10/10 WOOHOO! Helba spoke. Not only that but she played a very key part in this episode. *Does the happy dance* It almost makes up for her lack of appearances in the rest of the series. Also getting to see Net Slum in the anime version was kind of cool. It was great to finally get some info on what Morganna had been planning. Up until most of the info on her plans has been nothing but a jumble of random parts. To say that Morganna was a bit peeved would be the understatement of the century. Not only did Sora piss her off (which was very amusing) but then there was Maha's act of calling the second Guardian against the first. -
I believe it can be found in either comic book or manga format (not sure about movie). I am pretty sure I have one of the comic books, though it could be another GW comic. My suggestion: check the older comics at a comic shop, or the comic/manga section of a Borders or Barnes & Noble bookstores.

One simple word: Advertising Yes, a strange concept for the net, but still true. Never doubt the power of advertisements. First there is Google, upon which this site lists high up (IIRC). Then there is word of mouth. If not for someone else telling about this site I may not have found it. Even something as simple as a small, personal site having a link here could draw in many people. The other half is the human factor. The Mods/Admins run this site well. They may anger some people by banning them for not listening, but such things have kept the site from total chaos. Also the people here keep each other in line. If someone gets out of hand, or makes a mistake, they let each other know. Most of the members here are very polite. Those things have made the board an enjoyable place for people of many age ranges. That is just my take on it.
Originally posted by Hyper Now that I just beat Mutation, I new idea has occured to me. I belieave that Morganna...could be The World itself. Now I have one main passage to support this, and that is right before you fight Magus. Remember what Helba says? After the glitch thing, she says something that intrigued me. "I'm not doing anything. It's her." After Kite asks who her is, Helba replies that it is the World itself. Now forget about all the mother nature nonsense, and it does make some sense that Morganna could be The World.
LOL. Yeah, I had thought that too after that scene. The only thing that does not seem to add up there is the fact that Harold said he created Morganna to awaken Aura. This means that Morganna was a seperate entity, and not the world becoming sentient. I now believe that Helba intended the statement to mean that Morganna now controls enough of The World to be considered a major part of it.
As for what I said earlier, I meant not so much a transformation, but more of a deposit ino another entity. Her Phases work for her, but they pretty much act on their own. I think Corbenik is not entirely Morganna, being it a phase. However my theory suggests that Corbenik is filled with more of Morganna's knowledge, data, etc.
Hmm, do you mean kind of like a back-up of sorts? To ensure her survival Morganna may have placed some of her info in the Phases. All she would need is the info of what she plans to accomplish, so if she were destroyed the back-up would activate, check the progress of things, and continue on with them.
The only I thing that puzzles me now, is how Morganna would be trapped in the first place. I'm probably too quick to assume Morganna as the bad girl.
Well, Harold said that Morganna was meant to awaken Aura. That means she would be limited to begin with. Since she only has that one purpose she would not need to have a physical form and would have no need to move about.

As of yet I only have one major problem with the series. Yuji is the most annoying character ever. His constant whining makes me wish that I could reach into the screen, grab his thoat, and throttle (choke) him. At the very least, Marlene should smack him upside the head with the hand of her Armored Shreik.
-
I believe that Morganna does not have an actual form. Instead she is just a consciousness within the world. If she is in fact Corbenik, that means that Corbenik is actaully just a shell. It may be possible that Morganna is trapped in one section of he world, and by altering that area she created Cormenik. This would have allowed her to move the area she is trapped in, instead of moving about by herself.

Has anyone been able to figure out what "Never knows best" means? I have seen it on multiple cigerettes (sp?) that Mamimi has, but have not figured out the meaning yet.
-
Well, according to www.dothack.com the release date of .Hack//Outbreak is set for the 9th of September. Also, .Hack//Quarantine is set for "Early 2004" (no set date yet). I am not holding my breath on this matter, but hopefully Bandai has finally gotten everything basically set and this date will be the real one. *Crosses fingers*

I believe that OZ stands for "Organization of Zodiac". Hence the reason all OZ suits are named for the Zoidiac (except the Tragos which means "Goat") They are actually part of the Romafeller Foundation, IIRC. Earth is pretty much the same as it is now. Just a jumble of factions. The colonies wish to live seperate from the Earth. That is part of the reason behing Operation Meteor. That is all I can think of for now.
Originally posted by Heavyblade OK I get it now. But I still say that big thing Corbenik is really weird. He's in the show right? if he is is anyone going to fight him.
Skeith and Maha are the only ones in the show. The rest are game characters. And, yes someone will wind up fighting Skeith. I will not say who or what the outcome is though.

I doubt it would ever have been a hoax. The reason for this is the fact that it would cost too much to fake it. First off, there is no way they could have hidden that shuttle launch from people, which means if it had not launched everyone would have been screaming their heads off. Then you have to figure the cost of producing the fake film and pictures. And the amount of human activity needed to hide the fact that nothing was happening. By the time you are done it would have been cheaper to just go to the moon. As for the thoery that the flag was waving (which is the biggest arguement), do not forget that the flag had small wires built into the fabric so that it would remain straight for the pictures. This means that the wires would transfere movement and create an effect like it was waving. Not to mention the picture was kind of shaky to begin with.
Originally posted by Monkey_Orange My question is: what's up with the irons, ironing out the wrinkles? Are there other irons at other places?;)
I think it has to do with the "wrinkles" in the human brain. I do not remember much biology, but I believe that the wrinkles in the brain are needed for any form of thinking, or other brain functions.
Originally posted by Hyper But now I have a new theory. Cubia is Morganna's minion that is meant to keep Aura prisoner. Afterall, when Aura tells you her "location", she warns you of Cubia. So Aura knows it's there, and it has to be there for a reason.
Maybe not so much a prisoner, but just to keep her split apart. In one of Aura's e-mails she says that Skeith broke her into segments to limit her powers. This means that Cubia could be meant to guard those segments from Kite once Skeith was naturally destroyed. The part that still bothers me is how Helba knew his name. I suppose it could have been mentioned in a section of the Epitaph that has not been shown yet. Hopefully more will be answered before I go insane thinking about it.
