Name: Verivia Vildae Age: 29 Gender: Female Race: Wood Elf Major Skills: Alchemy, Blade, Light Armor, Acrobatics, Sneak Profession: Assassin Appearence: Verivia is a small girl, 5'2" to be exact. She is very petite, and looks as if you could break her in two if you even so much as touched her. She has a thin face, with high cheek bones and a slightly pointed chin. Her mouth has a pout to it, giving her thin lips the illusion of being full. Her skin is very smooth and tanned from her days spent sleeping outside. Her eyes are a deep gold, flecked with brown, and her hair is a shiny black with blue undertones. It is cut so it falls to her mid-neck, and she leaves it down so it can blow about and cover her face. To the local men in Cheydinhal, she's known as, "The small, pretty thing that hangs with the big, ugly crowd." Personality: Verivia comes off as very timid. She's terribly shy, and gets embarassed easily. She hates having rough confrontations with others, and prefers the quiet. She is very intelligent, but has a hard time expressing her thoughts in complete, coherent sentences. You can tell when she is uncomfortable or mortified, because she will cover her face with her hands and refuse to look at anyone. She likes keeping peace between others, which seems to contradict her profession and the people she's associated with. Verivia is also very motherly, she takes the health of others very seriously. She is protective of all the people that she trusts or has taken a liking to. Considering she has a hard time with her speaking ability, she often expresses herself thru physical motions, such as hugging, touching, pointing, waving, kissing, and taking hold of someone's hand. She is very friendly in this way, and won't be shy physically unless she thinks someone feels awkward with her doing it. Verivia hardly ever gets angry or violent toward someone else. It is also very rare for her to find someone she can openly talk to. Worship Practices: Worships the Daedric Prince Azura. Guilds: The Dark Brotherhood (Slayer) Past: Verivia grew up in Seyda Neen, a small Imperial town in Vvardenfell. She had lived with her mother, and had a decent, peaceful childhood. She had never picked up a weapon, in fact, her aspiration was to become a Healer. When she was sixteen, she left home in order to find her place; she headed to Vivec in hopes of making connections at the Temple, or in the Mages Guild. Instead, she met a met a radical Daedroth worshipper by the name of Miloe. This girl, too, was a Bosmer. The two girls found friendship in one another, and Verivia was shocked to realized that she could actually talk to Miloe without stuttering and blushing. They moved in together, and Miloe showed her the ways of Daedric worship; Verivia took a great interest in the Prince of Moonshadow, Azura. As things progressed, Verivia became aware of the fact that she was in love with Miloe. This love ended up being her downfall, however. In an attempt to prove her devotion, Verivia raised a sword to the neck of Miloe's abusive boyfriend. She had been so blinded by love and rage of this man's extreme acts against Miloe, Veriva picked up a weapon for the first time in her life. Yet, even naive to the blade, she slew him with great and surprising expertise. Regaining her thoughts afterward, she fled. She left Miloe, and left her crime behind her. Eventually, however, authorities caught up to her, and she was taken to the Imperial City jail. She knew little of Cyrodiil, and was confused as to why she had been taken to a new province. However, she understood her imprisonment, and settled herself in for a long stay. One night, a figure appeared in her cell. This man was Lucien Lachance. He told her of the Dark Brotherhood, and that she had promise for his syndicate. Desperate to escape life in jail, she agreed to his proposal for her to join them. From that night onward, she was adopted into their Cheydinhal home. Just recently, she's accepted a writ to assassinate a Dunmer by the name of Ainatte Morelle in the city of Kvatch, and has begun her journey to get the job done. Equipment: Full set of Elven Armor for everyday adventuring and combat. Full Dark Brotherhood garb for assignments. Glass Dagger for all combat. Apprentice Mortar & Pestle for making healing potions and poisons for non-violent assassinations. Hope that's all fine and dandy. (Sorry if my biography thing was a little cheesey... I had to rush it a bit. :P)
While I understand the general tongue-in-cheek air of this post, realize that you just contradicted yourself. "... if you don't sleep with the person before marriage... how do you know if they'll keep you sexually satisfied?" "Plus, as they say, sex stops after marriage anyway." If sex stops after marriage, then it isn't necessary prior to marriage to figure out if a person will be a suitable sexual mate.
Yes, I realized that when I wrote it. But I was mainly giving two examples, both of them don't have to apply to the same couple. Haha. And, anyway, I wouldn't want my honeymoon experience to rely on something my virgin partner learned on the internet. That might involve something freaky... in the strange, extreme way. XD

I'd spit on Superman. We gotta lower that boy scout's self esteem.

I think it's actually quite funny how people are scandalized to find out that teenagers are having sex. Kids aren't getting sexually active sooner. It's actually the opposite. This culture is very prude in comparison to the past. We may have more revealing clothes, but it's no longer appropriate for older people to have sex with twelve-year-olds, we can't openly have mistresses of the side of our relationships, and no one gets married at the age of ten anymore. What has the world come to?! Besides, don't you guys know that sex is a good way to work out? It sweats off all that fat. It's basically the best weight-loss plan I can think of. I don't have anything against virginity, since I still have mine (:p), but... you know, I don't find anything wrong with losing it, either. I figure that our only real purpose in life is to mate anyway and keep the species going. That's how all the other animals are doing it. And no one can give me the whole abstinence thing, either. I mean, if you don't sleep with the person before marriage... how do you know if they'll keep you sexually satisfied? Plus, as they say, sex stops after marriage anyway. And on your honeymoon... no one wants an awkward sexing if you are both virgins. Come on.

For metal... I'd recommend Moonspell, Scar Symmetry (This is a GREAT melodic death metal band. I can't get enough of their stuff.), and maybe Arch Enemy For lighter things... If you like Kill Hannah, I think you might enjoy Clear Static. They have a heavy '80s influence, and they pull it off pretty well. I also second Shiny Toy Guns, I love those kids. Dragonette is also a great powerpop/rock group. You can find all of these bands on MySpace, if you care to sample. (Oh yeah... you like Porcelain and the Tramps... you are officially awesome. ;))

Facebook is just lame. There is no music! I admittedly have a Facebook account, but I only talk to one person on it. The novelty only lasted a day, really. And that's because I found some girls I went to Elementary School with, but then we stopped talking the next day. Haha. You want a real site? Trig is where it's at; it's like MySpace, minus the crappy maintnence, add a LOT more music. Revolution.

I bought their CD for my mom for her Christmas present. I took a chance and picked it up. They sounded like every other whiny boy band that's trying to sound 'alternative', and since my mom goes for that stuff, I figured it was perfect. She loves it, but I won't stay in the same room when she has it on. Both my sister and I agree it's ear-bleed-worthy. But we're a little biased, considering we are metal kids. :p

I've noticed that a lot of girls around my school have been getting into the "cute punk" trend. High-top shoes (either Converse, or Rocketdog), a lot of cutsie skull shirts, leggings under the cut-up mini-skirts, and BLACK NAIL POLISH. What's with girls and black nail polish all of the sudden? I've been wearing it for the past three years, and now, all of the sudden, I see it on every perfectly manicured hand. I have to admit, some girls can pull it off really well. And I don't mind seeing them in it, but still... I think too many people have been shopping at the new pussyesque Hot Topic.
All of us teenage boys are, without a doubt, self conscience, hyperactive, jack-assess.
That's why I promote lesbianism. ;)

Dang, sounds like a lot of first-timers this year. As for me, it's off to AnimeIowa in August. I've definitely been there before, yet, this is my first year getting a room in the hotel. And yes, I'm going to be a major geek and cosplay for my first time this year. I'm going as Haku from Naruto, because he's one of the few characters I actually like from that show. Plus, he's a pretty man... an easy character for a girl to pull off. ;) Is there a Power Rangers convention?! I'd go to that, no matter how far away it was.

Pimp hand, anyone? There is nothing more satisfying than knowing you can knock anyone giving you sass to the ground with your palm.

Once I heard that guys usually expect the girl to make the first move. Which I never knew. Maybe that's true for the majority, maybe it's not. For me, it's been half and half. Some of the relationships I've been in, I've asked the guy out. And in some, I've been asked out. I did realize, though, that whoever made the first move tended to be the dominant person in the relationship. The two guys that I asked out, I made all of the moves. The two guys that asked me out, they made all the moves. So... since I'd rather not be the "man" in the relationship... I prefer to have the person ask me. I mean, I don't like being dominant even when I'm with a girl. My whole take on this thing is that you should do whatever feels more comfortable to you. If you really want to get into a relationship with someone, ask them out. It shouldn't matter.
...I want to be about five minutes before I read that.[/color']
You need to face reality some day. ;)

It's a tie for me right now. Either "The Illusionist" by Scar Symmetry or "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps. Hmm. Metal against Industrial. Fun. Damn, PATT seriously needs to get a record deal. It's driving me nuts that I can't get a CD from them. (Haha... Patt. >>)

I wouldn't want to live in the later past, only because I'm a girl. It would be HELL to deal with your period. I have a hard enough time as it is with pads and being drugged up on Pamprin. Ahaha.

Oh wow. Alright. For your drawings... you are really good at capturing the life-like feeling. Hair is really your strong point, here; the toning, shading, and texturing is nearly perfect. The only thing that really looks awkward are some of the mouths. Some look flat in comparison to the rest of the picture, or their position is off. Other than that, I really love your pieces, here. My favorite drawings would have to be your 2nd, 7th, and 9th. I honestly think those three are amazing. A lot of your other work looks like they could easily be shirt designs. Want to make me one? I'd proudly wear a "Blood Like Acid" shirt. ;) Props to you on the pixel art, I would never be patient enough to make something like that from scratch. It looks great. In general, awesome job. I'd love to see more from you. :)
I'd like to live in 2018, because that's the year I turn 21, and I plan on celebrating by pouring a large glass of the finest champagne and falling asleep upside-down with my clothes inside-out on a large waterbed. Ah, it's good to be the blacksheep of my family.
You're nine? O.o

Haha, yes... personally, I don't play the guitar. But I have some friends that are quite good at playing an actual guitar, but they are terrible at Guitar Hero. The funnest thing for me to do is dress up in my home-made Robin costume and play. Foxy superhero shredding it up. :P It takes skill to be a video game master, you know.

Ohio Mother Accused of Microwaving her Baby to Death
Fyxe replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
After seeing what happens to Barbies in a microwave, I'm pretty sure I can only imagine what a baby in a mircrowave looks like. (The name China just reminds me of gina. >>) -
I'd want to go to whenever you could have a sexy, downloadable robot boyfriend/girlfriend. Who needs to go to the club to pick up a date, when you can just download one?

Haha. Wait til college. Everyone gets action in college. And I'd just take the advice. This is good stuff. I have to deal with depression and severe anxiety every day. So don't complain. :p In a month, you'll look back and wonder why you made such a big deal out of this.

You know. If you actually think about it, it's not so bad. There are always going to be low points where no one wants to hang out with you. But that can't really be helped, people are moody... and generally not very reliable. Just hybernate. It beats the hell out of making yourself depressed by thinking about all the **** that's going on.

Who has the coolest song on their Myspace profile?
Fyxe replied to Jakehammaren's topic in Noosphere
Well. This is no competition. I have the original Power Rangers theme song. Now, THAT is a song you can shred to. -
Gender segregated classrooms? Yay or Nay?
Fyxe replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
How about the students pick where they want to be? That's reasonable. They could attend a co-ed high school, and then go to a single-sex college, if they feel like that would be a better environment. It doesn't have to be such a hassle. (I would, however, get far more distracted in all girl classes. Those damn skirts. >> Oh... wait... that's why I'm not doing well in math anymore. Haha.) -
People get bored... they like to start fights to spice it up. Honestly, no one can leave anything alone. I don't believe in God, or any form of a god, but I couldn't care less about these things. Yet, the majority of people living in America believe in God, so, it makes most sense to go by the majority.
