Are you kidding me? I thought those were adorable. Plus, most of their outfits kicked ***. I don't really see what the problem is, I've gone to dance recitals around my home town and they have worse stuff than this, hell, they hardly wear anything. I think it's just over-reaction. Besides, they wouldn't be doing it if they didn't want to.

Jesus. Have you ever innocently been driving around and all of the sudden up look up at a billboard and the word "Jesus." is the only thing on it in huge, bold lettering? It's enough to make someone piss their pants. It's even worse when there is a mural.

I haven't weighed myself in awhile, so, bleh. But... I know I'm about 5'2" and around 95-100 pounds. I've always been an extremely tiny kid. I guess I just have a high metabolism, because I think I've gone to a gym about twice in my entire life and I don't enjoy participating in physical activities. In fact, I spend all my time eating sugary things and sitting on my butt. I have excess fat, I mean, come on.. that sugar gives me a little paunch... but I don't look fat. Right now, I think my figure is great. But let's face it, in about twenty years, this metabolism will have gone down the drain and I just know I'm gonna pack on the pounds. I have the mentality of a fat person, I eat what I want and don't do a damn thing all day... my body just doesn't reflect that... yet. >> Eh. Go optimism!

I just picked up the first two volumes of Death Note last weekend at AnimeIowa after reading so many fantastic reviews. I have to say, it's rather interesting. So far I don't have a firm opinion on it, but it's certainly got me hooked. Too bad I ran out of money, haha. I enjoy the artwork, and I have to admit, L is a very sexy man. And the Shinigami... wow. What a comical look, seriously. He looks so awkward and out of place, sometimes when I turn the page and see him there... I just have to laugh. Oh, by the way. How did the name "Right" (or Raito) get translated into Light? Jeez. - And if that was already discussed, sorry, it's five in the morning and I am rather loopy...

It all depends. Usually a manga is created before an anime is, like AnimeHeroX said. But, an animation studio can also work on an anime without there ever being a manga before it. Usually if this anime is popular, they will decide to release a manga as an after thought.

You have not lived if you haven't seen Tenchi Muyo! or one of it's offspring series. (Tenchi Universe; Tenchi in Tokyo) Sure, the series in general can be corny, but it's never failed to amuse me. I've been a Tenchi fan for as long as I can remember, basically. And if you are looking for a good comedy, then check out a few episodes and see if it tickles your fancy. What's better than a houseful of alien women and a clueless/innocent teenage boy? Hohoho.

Since some of the things you've listed include some issues to think about, or whatever the case is, I'd suggest Serial Experiments: Lain. This is an odd one, but I definitely enjoyed it. It takes some time to think about things and moves somewhat quickly. It attacks a lot of major issues in the world today and deals with interesting concepts. It isn't the most... action-packed kid on the block, but if you liked the Ghost in the Shell series, this might catch your interest. It's a relatively short series, I believe about thirteen episodes, you can buy the whole set easy for about twenty-five dollars. Compared to how other people have explained Lain to me is that it's a "mind f**k anime"... and that pretty much hits the nail on the head. Half the time I was watching it, I didn't know what I was witnessing. Haha

I don't think this is even an issue. Digimon would win by a mile. Everytime they Digivolve, they just get bigger and bigger. Plus, as the seasons go on, their human friends can merge with them, has Ash ever merged with Pikachu? I think not. That's not team work at all. It also helps that the kids in Digimon don't enslave their partners. ;)

This came up the other day when I learned that there had never been a recorded person named "Wendy" before the book Peter Pan was written. James M. Barrie had, in fact, made up the name exclusively for his story. So this little piece of information started to make me wonder about other name origins. What do you know about your name? What language did it come from, what does it mean? Also, does this name meaning fit your personality at all? I suppose that is the purpose of this thread. Tell whatever you know. And maybe there is a certain name's history that caught your interest, feel free to discuss that as well. As for mine, Claire, it originates from the Greek and Latin languages. In general, it means bright, smart. Or shining and clear. Something like that. I'm not so sure how that would fit me. I guess most people would consider me smart, but that's about it. Unless being extremely pale counts as being "shining and clear." :P Haha. Because I'm no social butterfly if we are talking personality-wise.

I got deleted somehow. Lovely. Haha. Well, I live in Iowa, that's about all that needs to be known. I love the necromancy references. XD

Haha. Okay, here we go. I had to get a Tenchi picture. : D Good luck.

Hayashimizu: "Alright, your new Life Science project is to take care of a sack of flour as your own child. Kaname, you're the husband." Kaname: "Y... you're kidding... right? I was the husband last time you pulled this stupid 'assignment' excuse on me! Sousuke just wants to go to that drag club again, doesn't he?!" Sousuke: "It's not my fault I feel the need to be feminine..." ----------- XP I've never seen the anime, but, you know... I need to make captions about drag queens. Shh.

Well, that's no fun. Game nerds should be able to go crazy at conventions. That's why there are conventions. It's a sad day for us all. Even if you don't know it yet.

Ah, leash. That just reminds me of Naruto and Sasuke. Ahaha. This is getting interesting. I think you could have executed the hints of "Al the Killer" a little better, but other than that, this chapter was good. I definitely like scenes between Ria and Kiala. : D I'll be awaiting the next chapter, then! -
I've had it happen with my graphic art. But, you know what? I didn't let it get to me. I was new to it at the time, so I didn't care what people were saying. It actually pushed me harder just to prove them wrong, that I could make something brilliant. For a solid two or three years I dished out some good graphics, I knew they weren't the best, but I was proud of my work. If someone tells you your art sucks, don't pay them any attention. If they aren't willing to give you legitimate feedback, it means they aren't worth your time. Artwork takes progress. I wish some people would realize that and grow up. Besides, I cannot do any decent artwork with my hands. I envy anyone who can draw and make it actually look like something.

Click. Wikipedia saves the day again. As for me, if fanservice is going by MY needs, then I'd say I'm more of the person that goes for sexual stuff. Like, I'll follow relationships that have absolutely nothing to do with the plotline in general. Especially if it's manlove or womanlove. Ahaha. I can't help it. Anyway... InuYasha's fanservice doesn't suit my needs, that's for sure. If it did, I woulda seen Kikyo naked a long time ago. XD But let's not turn this into something about InuYasha... just, no, don't go there.

Who cares if it's spoiled? It tastes good. There are far more things that we eat that sounds gross, but everyone keeps eating. Take McDonalds for example. It just shows that we are fat. I enjoy me some cottage cheese. I eat it whenever I get a chance. It tastes simply delicious when you eat it with baked beans. That's a meal for me, right there. Whenever I see cottage cheese in the fridge, I eat it. So, on a slightly different note. Has anyone made homemade cottage cheese?

Ahaha. Completely understandable. But what happened to people thinking it was sexy to smoke? XD Yet, I suppose I wouldn't want to date a person that smoked, it's like licking an ashtray. But in that case, I suppose minty gum is your friend.
