I've seen a few threads exactly like this on other boards and posting about them is not the place to get anything except internet sympathy from people whom you don't know, which won't help. My advice is to talk with your family or a real counsilor. You definetly won't find answers here.

^^ Japanese is the same way. The sentence structure is Subject-Object-Verb where as english is Subject-Verb-Object. E: I eat a hamburger. J: I ,a hamburger, eat. From my experience, it is much easier for people who speak english to learn Japanese rather than Korean mostly due to pronunciation. Korean has a lot of compound consanant sounds like this: "Chamjinsulro" whereas Japanese uses all vowels with the exception of "n". Much easier on the month in my opinion. The only draw back is that Japanese has some LONG words. For example: "Ikanakerebanarimasen" - "must go".

From my experience, I wouldn't recommend trying to learn Japanese on your on. If you can take it at school then I would. It's hard to learn it properly if you aren't hearing it. However, IF you'r going to teach yourself, I HIGHLY recommend doing the following: 1. Watch SUBBED anime only, dubbed defeats the purpose. 2. Listen to Japanese music 24/7! =D 3. Read manga, once you've learned Hirgana and Katakana becuase a knowledge of kanji is not needed sence all manga have the furigana next to their kanji. Ganbatte! =D

If I had to wait for a new cd every couple of months, I'd go insane.

^^ I'm a little torn with these movies. I enjoyed the first part of DaR, because it reviewed the series for you and then the second part becuase it acctually tells you what happens at 3rd impact and then also the first part of EoE, becuase it finishes the battle, but I don't particularly care for the second half only becuase some of it drags on a little bit. All in all, though, I thought it was a great way to end the series. Ending it with another question and all...

The guy who raps is annoying and detracts from Chester's vocals. Most of their songs have too strong a "studio" sound to them.

I happened to glance at another thread on this board that had been locked down, for good reason, but it made me think about something. The author of the thread was asking about finding MP3s and one of the mods responded that it was illegal and OB didn't want to promote their use. Now, I can sympathize with recording artists in the sence that, sence things like Napster, Kazaa and WinMX came along, sales of acctual albums has gone way down becuase now we can access music much faster. And it is illegal, but I don't neccesarily see it as seeing. Advocators of illiminating MP3 sharing all together are saying one thing to me, if you don't have money, you can't enjoy music. I mean really, cds are expensive. And more over, MP3 sharing allowed me to hear bands that I NEVER would have heard of otherwise, namely JROCK. I still do my part to support these bands. I use mp3s as a means of finding something I like, and then when I do, I always buy the album. I'm just curiouse about everyone else's ethics and feelings about this "new evil" of our generation.

^^ I got it the day it came out. It's ok, but there are a lot of dumb things about that band.

I agree, it's a very good album. And they put on a great show, I saw them last month. Utterly amazing. I love "Rush of Blood to the Head". Parachutes has some memorable songs too, like Yellow and Trouble, but it isn't as good as RBTH.

That reminds me of a few years ago how I heard that they might make an 6th Sailor Moon season. Guess it never happened though. An a different note, they better not use CGI, it will screw Eva up. It's fine the way it is.

^^ Pokemon is a classic, or rather, will be, just like sailor moon and dragonball are classics. You can't deny how great an anime is when it has the power to give a good couple hundred kids seizures with just 2 mins of animated footage! Did anyone ever see that clip?

And as far as marrying in the Church being exclusive for a man and woman that love eachother, thats BS. It's for people who share a common faith. ^^ OH MY GAWD YES!!! I still remember watching Space Cases when I was little at my friends house. All though the show sucked, the season/series finally was good, when the ship blew up.

It's 100% American. I loved that show, that and most of the other Nick shows in at that period: Clarissa Explais it all, Hey Dude, Are you afraid of the dark?, Ren and Stimpy, Rocco's Modern Life. Here's a question for you, well, two acctually. What was the name of the show that first coined the slime being dumped on people? You know, it took place in like a highschool or something. And the other, there was another show on about a bunch of kids on a SpaceShip and I guess they were students or something. I can't for the life of me remmber what it's called...One girl had rainbow hair and an imaginary friend...I think her name was Kat.

There is no "best" manga but the more popular ones are Kenshin, Gundam, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, anything by clamp etc. I personaly recomend "Gouhou Drug", "Tenshi Kinryouku", "KareKano", "X", "CLOVER", and "Chobitsu". And if your able, which I doubt anyone is, "Chojin Locke". But thats an aquired taste and no one's ever heard of it besides me...
