Best part :
When a 800 pound billboard comes crashing down on Rude's head. Yeah!
One of my friends has the complete movie uploaded to his PSP, so I've viewed it off there in school. He also burned it to a DVD format, along with subtitles, and we were watching it the other day. Of course it isn't ilegal, and if one would go about obtaining it it would also be ilegal. The only way to offical get your hands on it is to download it from a peer sharing program. But I don't encourage, or suggest it. Wait for it to come out on DVD, definitely . I personaly didn't care for the movie too much. It was exciting to be able to relate everything back to the game, and to see my favorite characters play in thrilling fight scenes. The fight scenes were like DBZ sideways, on speed, and throw 100 swords in the mix. I thought that the story was majorly lacking something; Not quite sure what. The fight scences completely made the movie worth it. Simply incredible. You'll find yourself wide eyed, jaw dropped, and on the edge of your seat. Spectacular. Edit : P.S. Hello, Bondage Boy. First off I'd like to point out or Rules here on OtakuBoards, and encourage you to read them (If you haven't done so already). I have to agree with Sage, in saying that this isn't exactly the best place to be discussing sexual fetishes. There isn't much to discuss besides your crazing hormone fantasies. And Bondage Boy's opening comment wasn't exactly stated in a very high quality, mature manner. I know that some members who are familiar with how the posting system works could pull off a reply that would be acceptable (In a mature manner), but not many. I think it'd be best for this thread to be closed before it turns spammy, and perhaps creepy. If there's a thread that you feel needs to be "moded", Sage, Report the post, and either myself or another moderator will be sure to check it out. :animesmil
Yo man, is that avatar what I think it is?
Your Mother, When posting in a thread please make sure it contributes to the topic of disscussion. If you'd like to "chat" with another member off topic, please do it through our PM messaging system. This helps keep our threads clean of spam and on topic. If anyone has any questions feel free to PM myself or any other moderators. Thank you! Thread Closed.

Actually yes, There has already been a thread about theotaku.com being shown on G4, which I moved to the Music, Movies & TV forum. And you can find it here. The thread wasn't made too long ago, so if you'd like to continue discussing it, that's the place to be ^_~. Edit : I myself haven't seen it; Due to the fact I don't have G4 T_T, but it'd be pretty neat to of seen. I remember back when theotaku.com was shown on [adult swim] a few years back, and that caused a thread like this one to pop up, lol.
If you want to see the clip about myOtaku, contact me on AIM and I will send it to you. Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks Update The best game at Midway's Chicago event? You betcha. by Douglass C. Perry August 11, 2005 - By now you've all heard of Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks, the action-adventure-fighting game starring MK characters Liu Kang and Kung Lao and in a very real sense, an homage to Mortal Kombat 2, considered by many as the best game in the series. Taking the robust fighting engine of the successful fighting series into a side-scrolling action setting, replete with Klonoa-like 2D/3D environments, Shaolin Monks is a one- to two-player game that blends the best of each world into a very complete and surprising game. For someone who admittedly never liked the Mortal Kombat series, I'm hooked on this. Not because it's easy, but because the fighting system is deep, the progression of enemies is balanced -- as you face an increasing range of thugs, sub-bosses, and bosses -- and the two-player cooperative gameplay is some of, if not the best, co-op play around. Players can attack in close with quick attacks or from a distance utilizing launch attacks. They can throw enemies into spiked pits, off cliffsides or into cracked walls to open up new passages, or once skilled enough, you can pick up an enemy, double jump and then throw him in air. If you're playing with a friend, you can potentially combo throw enemies back and forth in mid-air. Adding to the hit parade, you've got evades and jumps, fatalities, lock-on abilities, blocks, new multalities, Brutalities and classic special attacks. The game just feels right. In some ways it's very simple. Yet, the more one explores the fighting system and the parade of interesting levels, the more reeled in one becomes. The fighting system feels well tested, well developed. It progresses at the right pace. You can walk up to this game, never having played it, sit down with a friend and learn some moves, and then get right in there and kick ***. So, to a certain degree, there is a little button mashing. There is nothing wrong with a little button mashing. There is something wrong with a lot of button mashing, which is why Shaolin Monks is good times. Once you've learned everything, you then realize each of the character's moves can be upgraded with three distinct upgrades that prove to be very valuable during boss fights. We also learned today that if you play the game in the single player mode, you'll actually miss added levels specific to the two-player experience. (Note: there is no friendly fire in the co-op mode.) Adding to the game's polish, shine, and dynamics, the replay value is solid. Liu Kang and Kung Lao play very differently, each with his own strengths. But once you've finished the game, there is a third unlockable player from the MK lineage who appears, and after that, a fourth MK character is unlocked for even further play. Lastly, there is a versus mode for wicked, shake-your-fist battles. For those who've followed the series from its inception as a gore-filled FMV fighter to its current 3D prowess, Shaolin Monks shows off the Outworld in its entirety. You'll see the MK 1 and MK 2 stages in 3D and fight in them in ways you've never done before. You'll encounter MK characters such as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kitana and Goro, among other. The development team's mantra is, "If it's in MK2, it's in MK Shaolin Monks," so given the amount of hardcore fans of that old classic, this should appeal to a broad and happy audience. All in all, this showing of MK Shaolin Monks has convinced me that Midway has got a sleeper hit on its hands. The game's simple appeal is deceiving. The depth of gameplay is clearly there, and it's skillfully handled and crafted by a team that's bent on getting this one right. Shaolin Monks is an instant hit waiting to happen. Bush Begins Crackdown on Internet Freedom - Starting with Porn!
Stuart replied to Lafleur's topic in General Discussion
I'm with Harry, When he said "I don't agree with this measure (and laugh at Bush's obvious ignorance to how much of the internet is comprised of porn), but saying this is some horrible violation of freedom is idiotic." There are other ways to prevent the viewing of porn for kids. Such as: parental controls, and other "kid safe" programs. There's plenty of technology out there to do it. The same goes for television. Though I agree that there are some things that shouldn't be aired on TV, and it makes me sick to watch some of immature nonsense that is put onto TV. If the government should crack down any thing, It should be television. But again, There are parental controls now for the TV. If parents don't want their kids to view mature content, that's the parent's responsibility. Increasing tax prices to prevent porn? I find that to be quite a waste. I dug up an article that relates to this issue. The article dates back to 2004, so as you can see, This isn't a new idea that the government as thrown out. If you're interested I suggest you read it here. I believe it to be more "well put", If you will. -

Hello, sadness inc. Anything involving adult content is NOT allowed here on OtakuBoards. If you'd like to get your hands on hentai, I'm afaird you'll have to go somewhere else. I'm afaird I'll have to be closing this thread now. First off I'd like to state that a topic concerning manga belongs in the Manga Workshop forum. However, I'm not going to be re-directing your thread there because it goes againest the posting rules of the Manga Workshop. When creating a thread think of how it can spark an intelligent disccusion, On which other members can post their thoughts and opinions. This post is considered spam, which is why I'm forced to close it. "What Manga Workshop is here for is for people to post their own manga/comic and receive feedback or to talk about exsisting manga series." Fitst off I'd like to apologize that this did not come to my attention earlier.
I apologise. But, please, would you care to explain how what I said was anymore of a flame than what it was in response to? My statment merely said that religious-bible-thumping-intolerence was supposed to have died along with Cortez and his ilk, years and years ago. Could I have been nicer about? Sure I could have been. In retrospect it would have been a good idea. I apologise, but I'm often to agressive when it comes to such matters and I apologise for it, but I would still like to know why my post is any more flame-filled than OA's?
"· Verbal Abuse: Verbal abuse includes swearing and/or any inappropriate language directed toward either a member or a staff member. Any form of threat, insult or inappropriate behavior towards a member or staff member is viewed very seriously by OtakuBoards.com." - Rules I understand that some comments may anger you, but when they do it's best to just sit back and ignore it. "If you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all" That's a basic rule, and it may sound silly, but it's one that needs to be applied. Otaku America's posts don't include any form of verbal abuse, and he supports his opinons strongly with his beliefs in a manner that isn't flaming. For future reference please, if there's a topic that you feel the need to rant about another members remark or opinons, just don't post AT ALL. It's best to avoid such discussions if you feel angered by it. If you're still not clear on why your post was inappropriate then PM myself or any of the other moderators, so that we can keep this out of the thread disscussion. Thanks.
I swear, where are the mods? Why don't you tell people using insults to back off?
I'm sorry, but myself or any of the other mods cannot be on 24/7 as Lore has already said. PLEASE If you feel a post is out of line report it! I get instant e-mail notifactions, so If I'm online, I'll deal with it right away.

Some of you already know of my adventures, and there are tons of them, but I don't think not all of them are too appropriate, lol. I've had a pretty regular schedule all summer. At the begining of the summer I had to attend summer schoo for six weeks, which took only two hours out of my day, so I'm not complaining. It was actually fun at times; I had a crazy class. SWIMMING! Ah yes, I can't think of a day that I didn't go swimming. A friend of mine owns an inground pool, so it was hard to go a day without not jumping in. When I wasn't swimming I was hanging out with friends, either sitting around the house playing games, watching TV or just chatting, or we were outside, walking, riding bikes, hanging out around the town. There surely was never a dull moment. I've done a lot of exciting things throughout the summer, which I won't be forgotting for awhile. The occasional "joy ride" with my friend Kandace was always a blast. We'd drive around, not knowing where we were going and we really didn't care, but we had fun doing so. I love being around the town; There's always someone to run into, and always something to do. There were somedays that I wasted inside on the computer. When I didn't go outside on a nice day I always regreted it afterwards *sigh*. This summer was a major improvement to last summers, that's for sure. Like I said "There was never a dull moment" my summer was full of excitment and there was always something to do. Full of laughs and fun, that surely lived up to my expectations. There are a lot of people who I didn't get a change to hang out with this summer, so I'm looking forward for school to start up. I love the social interaction at school, and I'd say that it pwns over the fun I could have in a summer =P. Sad? If you knew me, and went to my school you sure as hell wouldn't think so. As for what I have planned for the coming year, I plan for it to be twice as great.

Oh, So I'm not the only one... *shrugs* No idea what it is. At first I thought it had something to do with the technical problems I was having earlier I guess it isn't though. I'm using Mozilla FireFox, and yep, I see that thingee. Someone able to shed some light on this ordeal?

You know, I was acutually thinking about this same topic earlier when I was asking myself "What is it I do on the internet?". Ok, so here we go. If I am on an internet connection I can guarantee that I'm on OtakuBoards. Even if there's nothing new or anything that strikes my intrest I browse the boards and send out a few PMs from time to time. Being a moderator of The Lounge keeps me pretty busy, reading everyones posts and making sure it's well "moderated" Hehe. Visting the "Art Studio" is one that I enjoy the most. INSTANT MESSANGER, and the dreaded Myspace.com! I currently have a total of 71 real world friends and 53 friends from OtakuBoards on my AIM buddy list. All of which I talk to regulary, or atleast I try. There's never a dull moment as long as someone is online. Myspace.com is just evil, Keep away! I spend too many hours wasted on there with my profile. Shopping. Though I've never actuallly bought something offline I still enjoy my online window shopping, lol. Checking out the latest in games is an all timer. I guess I like to tease myself with the games I know I'll never be able to aford, without having a job. Also, browseing around Hottopic.com is something I do when I'm bored. Also gives me an idea of what I'd like to buy when I visit the mall. DevaintArt.com, can keep me occupied hours on end. There's ALWAYS something new and appealing to view. Perhaps one of the greatest sites I visit. Aside from those I can't currently think of anything else I use the internet for... *ponders* Pfft... Downloading music ^_~
