1. I like people for who they are. Most of the friends that I have made met me when I was 3 or 4 years old, a time when I didn't care what they could do. Obviously there are some people that I think are cool for what they can do, but it doesn't mean that they are immediately counted as one of my good friends because of it. I don't know if I'm making sense, but that's how I've put it, lol.

Limp Bizkit

I liked Limp Bizkit, but only to a certain extent. My favourite track was "boiler", but only because I thought the whole dark theme of the song wasn't very like Limp Bizkit's style. Although now they will get asked the same question a billion times: "where's your guitarist?" Regardless of what they say, everyone still asks the same question, lol.
3. I would want to meet the following people: Sephiroth (came pretty close eh?), James, Desbreko, Sara, GinnyLyn, Nerdsy, Transtic Nerve, Desert Shadow, Crazy White Boy, Semjaza Azazel, Break, Juuthena, Lalaith Ril, Rain, Ravenstorture, Harlequin, Lady Macaiodh, BabyGirl, RicoTranzrig, Raiha, Rick Hunter, ZeroG214, Valen, Mystic's Knight, Syk3, Anna, Deedlit, Queen Asuka, PiroMunkie, Deus Ex Machina, Neocactuar, DeathKnight, Medra, Lady Katana, Altron Gundam, JCBaggee, Cloricus, Jinzouningen17, Final Flash, Heaven's Cloud, HBomb, Mitch, Shyguy, Pressure and some others I really can't remember right now, lol. My Big Otaku Meet Plan For When I'm A Millionaire We would pick a good location, that would cost a good average amount of money for me to pay for and obviously I would pay for everything. We would meet at a designated point, but no one could know who was who until a sign was made, to prevent any nasty people taking advantage. It may sound silly, but it would be very cool indeed :)
4. I have my own techniques, but I think I might just try that, thank you Valen.
5.
OMG! I AM SRIOUSLY GETTIN PISSED OFF WITH ALL THESE SUICIDE THINGIES! i THINK YOU ALL JUST WANT SYMPATHY! That was not aimed at you Elite, but it is really starting to piss me off.
Have you ever been on the verge of suicide yourself Shinobi? I might be able to respect your viewpoint on all the "suicide thingies" if you could spell at all and refrain from using consistant profanity. The term I used was a saying, to find a high place and jump off it. However, I do admit that I have considered suicide recently. Why? Because I feel very depressed. Maybe I AM looking for sympathy, because I can confide in the people on OtakuBoards, who I trust and count as friends. If your frankly idiotic post isn't aimed specifically at me, do you care to tell who it is aimed at? As I'm sure they would be happy to respond with their reasons. I'm really not in the mood for silly behaviour from a child such as yourself. People have feelings, people get depressed, and some people would like advice on how to deal with the more extreme feelings that they can get. I'm sorry for going off topic about all this, but I think that clears it up. Back on track, it's kind of reached a worse stage.. as I've just found out that if I don't pass this exam tomorrow with flying colours I'll be bumped down to a foundation level class, which means I can only achieve a C maximum.
6. I'm already about a month over all my deadlines. I know I'm an idiot for doing so, but I've never been a man for doing work well at home. Even I do hand them in on Wednesday, they wouldn't be any good.
7. Allow me to explain my current situation. I've been a lazy bastard for the past few months and I haven't bothered to complete and hand in most of my coursework. I feel like I'm getting dumber by the minute, as my results in my better classes slip. My mother doesn't shut up. A bit blunt I know, but it's exactly how I feel. All she does is moan at me to do this that and the other, which normally constitutes to me doing extravert amounts of work that isn't needed. I know she means well (before one of you reply with that point) by caring about my education and so forth but she's taking it too far. I've already spoken to her about the amount of pressure she's putting on me and she said she would back off. However, this only lasted a few weeks and now she's piling the pressure back on top of me. All this and I'm currently taking mock exams. I have a science exam tomorrow which encompasses almost all the subjects of science we have taken over the past 8-10 months. I've revised hard for it, but I still don't know half the stuff needed, no matter how hard I try. It's all just building up and I feel like finding a high place and jumping off it.. Recently I've been very depressed about a lot of things, including this. Any advice?
8.
I heard from the news that in Great Britain they are trying to legislate that the word "homosexual" would be added to a some kind of list of offensive words
I think you heard wrong. The government are trying to make the word "gay" counted as an offensive word, for TV etc. Let me explain. In English slang the word "gay" is used to describe a bad thing. So instead of saying "you're an idiot", a lot of people say "you're gay". This isn't true for all people who speak with a lot of English slang, it's just used by a certain group of people, or idiots as I like to call them. Of course a lot of gay people take this the wrong way, for good reason. It's incredibly hard for me to describe this... you would really have to "experience" it for yourself. Homosexual is in no way an offensive word, and I doubt highly that the UK government would try and list it as an offensive word.
9. Ah yes the sacred modrod, heheh. I've been here since v2, always hanging about with my originally bad grammar and spelling, which I think I've improved by now, lol. I only really stay because of the people here.. a nice community who can always debate well and have fun at the same time. Understanding the epitimy of weirdness is having an AIM conversation that starts with m00?
10. My lovely school lets me out of school on the 20th of December. Of course, I'll be working for 2 days after that, which means I really get off on the 23rd of December. Great huh?

Question...

I think everyone has answered your questions here EagleDragon.. in future questions deserve in suggestions & feedback, or feel free to PM me about a problem. Again, any further problems, just PM me. -Thread closed.
12. I was a grade U (completely ungraded test, pretty much 0) in maths, until I finally got my backside in gear and started practicing algebra and so forth, and now I'm a C/B, which is good by my standards. You're obviously out of practice in maths, just keep practicing the hard stuff over and over again. As for overbearing parents.. I think it is silly that parents expect children to get perfect grades all the time, but at the same time the parent may just be trying to push you, since they know what you can achieve. My mother did that to me, and even though it brought up endless arguments and fights between me and her I've ended up with good grades :)
13. Matt's right, a whole new graphics engine had to invented for the Two Towers. They also boasted that no two soldiers would have the same movements at any given time, which sounds pretty cool to me. I will have to see that for myself though :)
14. Shy.. I would not even count this person as a friend anymore, regardless of how he feels, someone's secrets are a sacred display of trust if they choose to tell someone else. I don't know you all too well Shy, as I've only had one or two conversations with you over AIM. Regardless of this, I still think of you the same way. Whoever discontinues trying to be friends with you because of your sexuality doesn't deserve to be friends with you.
15. Moved to Literature :) I like Terry Pratchett's series of DiscWorld novels.. I suppose they could be counted as fantasy :D I love the first two DiscWorld books the most, as interaction between characters that actually do make an impact is excellent. Humourous parts are brilliantly placed in all of the DiscWorld books, which I really enjoy.
16. It could be a weird option selected on your TV, as you have to play the PS2 through a SCART lead you play on AV, so it may be an AV option..
17. Ohhh I could have a lot of fun with this. 1) A scarf - get it for someone who has NO use for it whatsoever 2) A game pad - get it for the console the person doesn't have 3) An embarrassing toy - Something that dances and sings a terrible Christmas tune, make sure they play it in a party or group 4) A mobile phone voucher (UK only I think) - make sure it's for the rival network that the person is currently on, and that it's the cheapest one :) 5) Deodorant - make it seem like you're trying to imply something 6) Revision guides/booklets - say he/she has been trailing behind in the subject that is in the book 7) A membership to an over 21's club (provided they are under 21, lol) - pretty self explanatory If I can think of more, I'll post them up, heheh.
18. I suppose I'm different to when I'm online or anything like that. Certainly on here I use bigger words and so forth, but that's only because my written English is a lot better than my spoken, heheh. I'm pretty much the same online, I like to 'meet' new people and make friends online, as I find it's always interesting to speak to people on the opposite side of the world. One thing though, I'm a hell of a lot more hyper when I'm just with my friends.. as some of you may know on AIM ;) (m00?)
19. Papa Roach would be an okay choice in my mind. Reanimation is a good album but it has some awful songs on it too (the crawling remix is excellent). I say save your money though, there might be something that really gets you excited, instead of having to put it to a vote :)

Snow!!!

Traffic would probably move faster if there was snow down in London, the average speed is 11mph... slower than the average horse and cart speed and the top speed of a car in 1911.

Snow!!!

As Sephy said (lo dude :)) we don't get much snow, if any, in the UK. It sucks because I remember when I was smaller we got a huge amount of snow one time.. just throwing it at random people was hilarious. I haven't seen a good bit of snow in about 10 years now :)
22. I have 2 and a half days to find another of Jeff's friends to go to Rock N Bowl Not to try and sound nasty or anything.. but shouldn't Jeff try and find one of his own friends to come along? Not trying to be bad to you either, just if he actually wants to go you think he would be bothered to find a friend to tag along?

What

Now that this thread has run it's course and been answered, I think I'll close it :)
24. I could sure go for a girlfriend for christmas but.. 1) The wrapping would make it hard to breathe 2) I doubt she would be too pleased about 1^ 3) She'd probably be with her own family I am working on it though ;) (without the wrapping paper O_O)
25. In England we actually have a lot of the smaller parties catching up with the biggest 3, which are the Liberal Democrats, Conservatives and Labour. The Liberal Democrats are the smallest out of the 3. The smaller parties are groups like the Green Party, who are all big on environmentalism. Labour are currently in power and have taken 6 years to even start getting themselves sorted, which is forgiveable because the Conservatives were in power for something like 16 years.. making some things hard to change. Labour are swinging more towards a pro-European approach, considering a referendum (might have spelt it wrong, but it means a public vote) to decide if we change our currency to the Euro or not. Both parties are in support of most American actions such as Iraq and so forth, but that doesn't really come into this decision. The Liberal Democrats managed a surprising vote number in the last election, and seem to be catching up with the two larger parties. This is mainly due to the fact that both parties made a mess of our public health service (NHS) and have both failed during their terms to deliver promises they made during election times. The Liberal Democrats do have some far out things they want to introduce though, like a £250,000 tax on people earning more than 1 million every year. After explaining all that (lol) I just say I'm not pro-government, but not anti-government. I think we need leaders, but at the same time I see no point to 400 men and women deciding if we go to war or not. If I was able to vote now, I would vote Liberal Democrat, because they need to show us what they can do.. if anything. :)
