1. The original Tenchu had me hooked, but I must say Tenchu 2 disappointed me greatly. One of the levels was almost identical to another in the original, and the control system wasn't improved at all. Also, the control system greatly ruined the stealth aspect for me. I could be hunched up against a wall, when a slight twitch on the D-pad caused me to run out into the open, blowing my cover. If the gameplay is improved, I might consider buying it, but I still think it'll only be worth a rent.
2. I've considered getting a tattoo before, and I suppose I eventually will. It's really just a case of me deciding what I'm going to have as a tattoo. Something in Japanese, or 'elite' along the base of my back would be what I want.
3. Please look before you post an entirely new thread about a topic that is currently being discussed in this thread. Please direct your discussions there. :)
4. That's exactly how I feel (without the boyfriend, lol). I feel that anyone who I hold dear is a much better person than I am. However, that could be counted as placing a 'price' upon a person, which isn't really possible.
5. I would die for one of my friends, or the person that I love. (Some people know who she is, but I'd rather not ramble). I would die for any member of my family, knowing that they would lead a productive life.
6. I got Vegeta for my DBZ quiz.. hurrah! I must say, a very cool site indeed. :)

Fights...

What do you do if somebody starts on you? I normally act the idiot and start back, provoking and encouraging them to hit me, lol. I normally just gear up for actually getting hit, as mostly I don't hit people first. What is your style of fighting? Normally martial arts, but due to my rather extreme temper I normally just hit people very hard or grab them by the neck and lift them off the floor. What would you do, if you walked past a group of people beating up another group? Obviously try and break it up. There's no real point for me to get involved, as I don't know why the people are fighting in the first place. For all I know it could be a family dispute, friends messing around or stupid gangs fighting each other. However, if I knew one of the people getting beaten up, and be in there very quickly.
8. Great to see you post DS (I be The Elite DBZ, as if I don't say it enough, lol). I think I've seen that poem before. And if I did, I still maintain that it's great. :)
9.
Originally Posted by Medra To your statement, also, of rotting in jail? What if someone just stabs a guy on the street in a mugging? Second degree murder. I think it's 10 to 25 years, with parole. With your way, in just ten years, that person could be on the streets again, and might kill someone else, and maybe get away with it this time. With my answer, they get a taste of their own medicine, and another life might just be saved.
That's why I think longer penalties should be served for any kind of murder if the death sentence was abolished. Think about it, being in jail for life is very similar to death in some circumstances. Getting beaten up, barely any food and constant work. As James said, putting a murderer to the death penalty is such an easy way out with them. In a way it's like they got away scot-free, as I'm sure a lot of murderer's don't have anything to lose.
10. Making threads purely for the sake of advertising a site is against the rules. Feel free to put the link in your signature.
11. I am completely opposed to the death penalty being in existence anywhere for any crime. As Gokents said, an eye for an eye. However, how does this solve the problem? I feel this is a poor form of justice. Okay, so someone may feel that the murderer needs a 'taste of their own medicine', but that is only lowering to the level of a killer. It sickens me that people should condemn murder so profusely, yet allow the death penalty to continue right under their noses. In sense the death penalty is a form of pre-calculated murder. Also the complications of new evidence. Recently new evidence was found that possibly could have seen a woman, who was hung years ago in Britain, released from jail. This of course was when forensic evidence was in it's infancy, but for all we know the woman could have been hung for a crime she didn't commit. Forensic investigation is getting more and more advanced every single day, so what's to say new evidence won't arise in the near future for a person killed today by the death penalty? Jail a murderer for life, let them reflect over their own bad deeds for the rest of their days.
12. I agree. Normally there isn't a new forum created until there is enough interest/demand generated, and sometimes new forums just have a few good threads, but then all conversation runs dry. I'm sure you could find a post or create a new post about Yu Yu Hakusho or Inuyasha in the anime lounge.
13. I honestly don't see much point in this thread being open any longer. All the questions have been answered, and the remainder of the thread seemed to turn into an argument.
14. Once again, very funny indeed. I don't really think it's that corny in writing, but if someone were to 'rap' it, I suppose it would sound very, very silly.
15. In the original Soul Calibur on the PlayStation there was a combat system for when your weapon snapped, so I suppose it's fine for Heihachi to fight without a weapon. However, he does have those funky spiked shoes. -_-
16. I can: 1) Bend my index finger all the way to back of my hand. 2) Twist my right wrist a full 360 degrees without bending my body 3) Put my legs behind my head, put my arms through my legs and walk on my hands. Plus I remember silly, silly things from ages beforehand for no reason.
17. Wet Dawn and Upper Park Power Lines would be the two I like most. If I had to choose one overall it would be the latter, I don't know why I like it so much though.
18. Da Popo, please try and post something more constructive than 'i do' in the future. -_- The SW Episode II graphics were excellent and took a year of 60 animators to complete, so if they pale in comparison to the new Matrix movies' graphics, I can't wait to see for myself. :)
19. I've only seen the dubbed version of Trunks explaining the timelines, but according to those episodes there were only 2 existing seperate timelines. Trunks came from one (the future), the Z fighters battling Frieza in the other (the DBZ story present).
20. I think I read this a while ago on N-Sider, but it was great to read again. :) As Smoky Joe said, it seems a lot like Charles Martinet is just talking to a friend, which is very refreshing in an interviewing article. I'd probably be lost for words if I ever even saw him in the street, let alone an interview.
21. This is weird indeed. -_- However, I did fly around in the hunter for quite a while and went crazy with it. At one point there was a ton of black smoke so I landed and bailed out. Nothing happened so I decided to jump back in and just fly back to save. To my surprise I clipped a ton of buildings/cars/pedestrians (okay I deliberately hit them, but it's an apache!) and there was only white smoke. It seems to be exclusive to the Apache though. :(

I still haven't managed to get hold of Parachutes, so I've only got a few songs from it. The Scientist would have to be my favourite ColdPlay track, and it has an excellent video too. :)

I called pretty much the only anime store in London today and got a stark 'we don't have it' response. Lovely. So now that I'm going to have to buy this anime on the internet, can anyone recommend a place to buy it from?
24. Sploogle. Hope I'm not too late - I've been ill. -Name: Elite -Magic Type: Water -type: Dragon -picture: Use my avie :p -2 effects: 1) Eh Strike - Opponent is put to sleep by Elite's constant whining about all things terrible in his life, opponent misses two turns. 2) Chao Slaughter - Opponent is barraged by summoned Chao's, who poke them. Causes (insert high but acceptable damage level here please) amount of damage. Can only be used once. -description: Methinks I shall edit this a bit later :)
25. I'm looking forward to Steel Battalion. Heck, I'm even considering buying an XBox and the game (plus the controller, which will cost around £100 with the game) because it seems so good. It seems like the first Mech game that I will truely like, but I really hope to test it before shelling out £300+ for the whole bundle. The controller that comes with it has a hefty 100 buttons or so, with joysticks, flips, switches and other contraptions. It takes something like 8 buttons just to get off the ground. Most of the scenery seems to be interactive, with most buildings and structures collapsing realistically. This is the only pic I could get so far, hope to get one of the controller soon. :p
