Of course I would pursure it. I would do anything to attain the powers.. anything. Day in day out training if need be. Although flight is really the thing I would be wanting most, as I'd fly over to a friends house and tap on the window, lol.

A Rush Of Blood To The Head is a great album, although I hardly find it 'slow'. The Scientist is slow, but others like Politik and Clocks are quite high tempo. I love ColdPlay because I just think they're a really consistant band with brilliant songs, plus they play excellently live. :)

If I'm not mistaken, aren't the 'Planet' websites all under the Gamespy network? I could be terribly wrong, but I occassionaly go to 'Planet Annihilation' and that's part of Gamespy.

I've only ever visited IGN once or twice, and the same goes for Gamespot. Mostly I visit Gamespy or read the newsletter that fills my inbox every day, but normally I just read gaming magazines. :)

I like it vereh, vereh much. As Shy said, the look coincides well with the new banner, and overall gives a much more modern feel to the boards as well. I like the new posts and online animations as well, nice work. :)

Gaming Your favorite video game villain of all time...
Red replied to Jinzouningen17's topic in Noosphere
My favourite would have to be Robotnik/Dr. Eggman from Sonic. I just find it really funny the way he never seems to catch on to why his plans aren't working, and the fact that he implants small furry animals into machines. O_o;; -
As Hybrid said, the only way to 'store' the Apache is to get all 100 packages, which you need the other helicopters to do. :) One thing, don't get in the Apache (or any helicopter, for that matter) with the Dodo cheat on, it seems to crash the game. -_-
-
I think it's excellent. Nice use of words and plenty of fun. The numerical thing for the beast seems to spell out "digimon" if you count the numbers along the alphabet. Hope I guessed that one right, hehe.

The Apache is most certainly better than the Maverick, because it has missiles and a great big Vulcan cannon. *snickers evily* If you manage to get the Police helicopter and fly it just over the Apache, the men will only shoot at you once the helicopter nears the floor. So, if you have armour you can easily run quickly to the Apache and dive in. Take a moment to mock the military and fly away with a multi-million dollar piece of hardware. And yes, this is all in the air force base. :)

Let's take a peek into Elite's sad, sad life, lol. School week :- 6.55am : Alarm clock goes off, open eyes. 6.56-7.30am : Try and find the power to get up, if day is important I get up at 6.55am 8am : Leave for school. 8.40am : Arrive at school, always cutting it close.. 9am-3.25pm : School, normally consists of me being the subject of joke -_- 4.15pm : Arrive home and feed the cat, do general chores. 5.00pm : Jump on the computer.. Internet/Counter Strike 6.00pm : Normally dinner :p 7.00pm-12.00am : Varies. Internet, time with parents etc. Weekend/holiday:- 9am-12pm : Awaken depending on importance of day. 12pm-1pm : Wander around, get dressed etc. 1pm : Feed starving, crying cat. 1.30pm : Do something, normally out with friends. 8pm - 4am : (depending on mood) free time, internet etc. That's normally how the world of me works, but a lot of the time my little schedule gets thrown out of the window, which is enjoyable.

I agree with James on this one. North Korea should be dealt with first. Iraq doesn't have nuclear weapons (according to UN inspectors) and have not shown any plans to.. North Korea has. I heard today that North Korea pulled out of a nuclear arms treaty, which I suppose means they've broken their promise to not fire nuclear weapons. I count this as a pretty clear display that the government of North Korea is certainly willing and will soon be able to make nuclear strikes. As James said, North Korea also has a sizeable military at it's disposal, so fighting a war on North Korea would be a lot more difficult than the Afghanistan "war" or a war against Iraq.

I think this is sick too, those poor children couldn't have had a clue of what was going on. The thing is, desperation will lead people to do terrible things. She was probably desperate for some form of partner. Then again, the man should have known that getting into some form of relationship with this women would include the children, so bringing them along wouldn't have caused any harm.

Alternatively, you could post your comments in this thread.. although it isn't that old, you would be bringing fresh debate to the topic. :)

Reveille have been around for a while, and I suppose I could class them as a metal band. I personally think that some of the lyrics in songs such as "Catarax" are excellent, and the vocals are great too. I highly recommend listening to "What You Got" and "Catarax" on this website, which has a few audio clips. Anyone else listen to Reveille?

Well, since I don't own a GBA, this will probably be the unit that I buy. Having a lit screen is certainly a bonus, although I really would like to see how it compares to the AfterBurner, which I thought was excellent. The thing that I like most is being to turn the darn light off, as you don't necessarily need it to play in broad daylight. This was often the case with the old Game Gear, as it just guzzled the batteries without performing any helpful function. The whole recharging thing sounds very cool too, although I was wondering if Nintendo would make it like a mobile phone, being able to recharge whilst playing. Although, as James said, I doubt anyone would be bothered after 10 hours of solid gaming, lol.

I think everything has been answered here. I'll just close this.

I would count myself as a bit of a 'flirt' I suppose, but I'm very shy around girls, so it normally ends up with me cracking consistant jokes. I'm pretty good at making people laugh (most of the time, heh), so that's normally my form of flirting.

My view on Homosexuality and religion is this. If God gave us a choice, why can't people choose their own sexuality without it being a sin in God's book? If it's 'bad', then it's God's fault for letting us choose in the first place. Of course, people may argue and say that there are saints and sinners in this world, and that homosexuals fall into the latter category (although I highly disagree with this viewpoint, I'm just weighing up the argument), but there have been homosexual priests.. does this mean they are sinners too?

So you got kids...now watcha going to name them?
Red replied to Yu Yu Hakusho!'s topic in General Discussion
I was talking about this with a few friends the other day... Most of my names come from friends I've had over the years or just names I like. Girl: Amber, April, Charlotte (:p), Stacey. Boy: Robin, Andrew, Leon, Xi. -
About cheating on a girlfriend or boyfriend, what's the point? If you're cheating on someone by going behind their back and seeing someone else, what's the point of your current relationship continuing? Not that I've ever really been in a serious relationship or anything like that, so my viewpoint may not be based on experience, but people I know really annoy me when they cheat on people they're seeing, as often the other person doesn't have a clue.

Members making entire posts about how the person is breaking the rules and not keeping to the topic at all annoys me as well, even when I wasn't a moderator, as it doesn't exactly stimulate any good discussion. I was treated nicely when I first joined, otherwise I wouldn't have stayed on OtakuBoards for so long. Even when I came back (after an absence due to a broken computer) to v3 I made the mistake of posting an introduction thread when the intro forum was just above. Even so, I was still welcomed and people didn't exactly think differently of me because I was a "newbie".

Um.. the word spam flies straight into my mind, lol. If you have any doubts about breaking the rules, feel free to PM me or another moderator for advice instead of creating entirely new threads.

An interesting topic, to say the least. I think cheating varies in severity on different things. For example, cheating on a boyfriend or girlfriend is completely out of the question in my book. I would never cheat on someone I was going out with, as I think it goes against the whole point of seeing them in the first place. However, cheating in something like a job application is fine by me, as trying to get a good job is extremely difficult at times, and exaggerating the truth is sometimes required to help a person gain that place. In school I don't thinking 'cheating' is only bad in exams. Letting someone copy your paper outright is silly and will only prevent that person from coping in a future class (as they may be entered into a higher tier when really they're not capable of it). In class I always help close friends with things they don't understand and vice versa.
