Harry, there is really no need to degrade and be rude to other people in a debate. If you can't have an intelligent debate yourself, don't bother insulting others. Also, you are very general and mixed in your replies. As Endymion said, one minute you appear to hate homeless people, another you seem as if you want to help them. Try to clarify on your points more.

The best idea would be to upload them onto some kind of free host. I think netfirms, boomspeed or 250free.com provide hosting services but most shut you down if they find you are hosting images alone. Sometimes it's just best to wait until someone has replied before cluttering the thread with 2 or 3 continous posts with attachments. If you have any further questions, feel free to PM me.

I actually think it's really, really good. The top of the orange texture looks like water (or barf, they both have water in them :p), and the bottom part looks likes flames. The border looks cool and the little text logo looks excellent too. Nice job. -
With the Gamecube I agree that all their big guns are being released this year, but over in England we haven't even recieved the first Animal Crossing yet which is disapointing.
Animal Crossing still hasn't been confirmed for the UK, because the creators are waiting to see how sales are doing in the US first. In terms of Live!, the whole system concept has greatly disappointed me. The fact that the broadband platform hasn't been properly implemented in the UK really doesn't give Microsoft an easy job to push the product throughout the country. The PS2 internet/Hard Drive add-ons are coming out over here before Live!, so I would expect the sales to drown out Microsoft's attempt And as for Halo 2, we'll just have to wait until late 2003/early 2004 for that one.

Since the original question has been answered, I'm going to close this thread. In future, please PM me or another moderator with simple questions such as this one.

Harry, I really don't think that the world works like that. After someone becomes homeless, it's very unlikely that they can find employment, mainly based on their appearance. In places like London it would be almost impossible for a homeless person to find work, primarily because they would still live on the streets due to absurd house/rental prices. Forcing someone isn't right either, this might prevent someone who has worked hard to acquire some sort of position from taking it. Also, I doubt many employers would want someone who was homeless working for them.

Okay, I'm going to close this for the following reasons. First off, the arguments in the thread are just repeating themselves. Second, people are just flaming each other needlessly. Third, a lot of posts are just turning into spam.

Nice idea for a topic. :) I was wondering if anyone had heard of Reveille. The latest LP released by them is "Bleed the Sky", although the only person to reply to my thread about them was Semjaza. >.
Jesus, you're 13 or 14 or whatever. You don't need to be thinking about love. Hell you don't even know what love is!
True to only a certain extent. I'm only 16 and I could say that I truely have fallen in love with someone, which I'm certainly not going to go into. Love is but a word which is put to someones feelings towards another person. Where are the age boundary rules? Anyway, as The One said, you have nothing to lose by just asking her. You never know, she might say yes.

As far as I know Americans were 'treated' to a showing of the documentary that Martin Bashir presented on TV, and with that Michael Jackson now has the lawyer who originally went against him for child abuse back on his case. I had mixed views about the documentary shown and Michael Jackson himself after what I saw. I mean, I was, and still am a big fan of his older music, although it seemed to slide a little in terms of quality in recent years. True, the documentary could have been easily edited to make Michael Jackson look real bad, but I really believe that it wasn't. I also agree that to some extent Jackson seems to long for a proper childhood, and is trying to accomplish this with his wealth. However, who was he trying to kid by saying he had no surgery done on his face? I mean, his nose has changed shape countless times, his cheek bones are almost getting in his eyes' way, and the less I say about his chin the better. In my opinion that documentary just showed me that wealth cannot buy you happiness.

I have to say its quite cool, sticking to a sort of humorous approach before moving onto a more serious storyline. Of course, it has got the normal Star Trek cliches, such as
Bad guys (who are supposedly some of the greatest warriors ever) being completely unable to hit two people from a distance of 5 meters.
.

As far as I know, asking to be a moderator doesn't get you anywhere. Moderators are selected for a variety of reasons, which I really don't know off by heart.
The main one on a Mac is Limewire.
I don't know if it's LimeWire or something with an incredibly similar sounding name, but I've seen one of the Terms and Conditions of one of the program. It clearly states that by installing the program, you are allowing a Trojan horse (among other viruses) to be installed to your system. Pleasant, huh? Anyway, I think you should follow Transtics advice, download.com have some great stuff, and you should surely be able to find something for the Mac :)

I do nothing for Valentines Day. I've never gotten anything from anyone on Valentines Day and I've only sent one or two cards/gifts. I'm guessing it's going to be same old same old this year too.

Eheh, I live in the area of Westminster. There is a pub right next to my house that needed one of those 'dancing licenses' so I kind of knew about this, but I thought it was an insurance problem, as people could get drunk and hurt themselves in a packed pub. This seems to be another one of those insane British laws that has been around for a long time and has been re-inforced recently. I think I might go bug the council about it. :p

More.. more.. post more! I think it's a great start. Very descriptive and to the point, although you left it on an edge. >.< More.... more...

I only recently started listening to Incubus, but I truly think they are an excellent band. I love Brandon Boyd's voice, as he has such a wide vocal range and sings brilliantly live. My favourite songs by Incubus would have to be "Mexico" (which I'm learning to sing/play, with much difficulty), "Idiot Box" and "Echo".

Okay, first off I really don't think that this belongs in the Otaku Lounge. I don't think it's going to bring up any relevant conversation. Secondly, that picture is of ssj chic. The thread she posted it in is located within Your Picture, where you can comment etc. If you would like to post your artwork for others to rate, please use Art & Design.

I too like a bit of the old martial arts. Nothing as exhilirating as a good kung fu match-up, trading blows. However, I still like to play basketball from time to time, although recently I haven't played as much because my school won't set up a team.

This has certainly caught my eye. The idea of having the entire tube to race on will certainly add spice to the races. The background scenery looks packed and full of life in those screenshots you provided, which will certainly boost the overall look. It seems a welcome break from the F-Zero games, as the backgrounds were overly bland and uninteresting. I think having no weapons wouldn't hinder on gameplay, as long as the tube sliding system is used to its full potential.

I doubt very highly this will get far, especially over here in England. Networks are talking of scrapping their G3 (third generation) mobile phones because they cost too much and don't really have much use besides games/photos.

According to some reports over here the video is being looped over and over because the Space Shuttle has been lost. That is, camera crews and others are unable to catch sight of it, although I find it a little hard to believe. You can see that the video is looping, a black line appears over the debris at the exact same time frame continously.

My Favourite Developer: Rare. Why? Rare really came into their own on the N64. They gave the videogames world a firm slap in the face and showed that the N64 and its games were a force to be reckoned with. They have stayed on track with an original approach with fresh ideas and new gameplay styles. Goldeneye: Goldeneye was an FPS that seemed the first to work well with a console. It played excellently and had a good story to boot. The multiplayer was a complete blast with friends, and was made better by the N64's four player capacity. A game that used a movie license well, Goldeneye was truly revolutionary. It lead on to: Perfect Dark: A game that took Goldeneye and tweaked it silly. Not being confined to a story allowed for cool weapons and an interesting mission set. The graphics were exceptional for an FPS on a console, especially one as doubted as the N64. The multiplayer was ramped up, allowing players to add bots and play with 4 people at the same time, making for some great multiplayer experiences. Again, a revolutionary game by Rare in the form of an FPS. Banjo Kazooie: Rare's great platformer on the N64 absolutely blew me away. Under the seemingly cute exterior was a game with quite a bit of depth, and was one of the first platformers to actually make me think. The graphics were brilliant, altogether making for an excellent game.

A side note : this is not trying to be self-bashing or whatever in any way, so please do not take it like that. -------------- Who are you in your own mind? In my own mind I am someone who has experienced so very little, but felt as if I have experienced a lot. I am someone who is in desperate need of change, to get into gear and sort myself out so I can have a better time in the future. I use my emotions for guidance in life, and sometimes I follow them blindly, with no thought as to the consequences of my actions. In my own mind, I feel as if I am misunderstood by a lot of people, that I do not belong in the situations that I am in all the time. I am someone who can rely on friends to pull me back together when the pieces of me fall apart, and I rely heavily on the few close friends I have for this reason. I'm a shy person, who finds it quite difficult to make new friends and even more difficult for something more. I am someone who constantly aspires to be physically fit for the martial arts, and I find it hard due to my size. How do others see you? Some see my as crazy, and probably very weird most of the time. They see me as a computer nerd, who is fat and can't get a girlfriend to save his life. Others see me as a true friend, someone they can rely on when times are bad, and someone who won't sacrifice the friendship for anything. And how would you rather people saw you? I would rather people saw me as a person with many views and aspirations, and an intelligent person with something to say. I wish people could see me as someone who truly can use the martial arts at least half-decently, just that they would know I just haven't shown it yet. Also, I would like certain people to see past the first layer, to get to know me a little better and maybe realise they actually might like me.

Well I'm going to close this topic, for obvious reasons. For those who don't realise what obvious is, this was kind of spam in the first place, and now all the questions have been answered and solved there is no point tot he thread.
