1. 1. Black 2. Green 3. Purple 4. Red Always interesting to see how these ones turn out especially when watching a lot of anime where eye colours vary.
 2. anidb.net has a genre search function. It's also a good site for keeping track of what anime you have if you're willing to sign up to their free service.
 3. no not your fault. I'm just a curious young man, and when I see all those black bars curiosity gets the better of me. I've got to remember curiosity killed the cat.
 4. any chance on having my info added to the big list on the first post? Posted it before Goodbye, face (on the first page) who's had their's added but mine still hasn't been. Edit: Thanks a lot :D
Let's just put it this way: thanks to the Global Trade Station and lots of luck, you can have all three starters by the second gym. However, the GTS's main flaw is this: n00bs requesting Dialga and Palkia (the games' headliner legendaries) for Bidoof and Starly and other low-level crap. I DID manage to procure a nice level 1 Piplup that already knew Hydro Pump for an Unown that was at catching level still.
I got to say that that is definitely one of the biggest problems with the GTS. I mean I can understand people requesting legendaries in exchange for legendaries but trying to get a Munchlax or a Finneon. My best gain so far was a level 1 Turtwig for Cranidos. I dig up a lot of skull fossils so Cranidos is my main trading pokemon. Currently trying to get myself a Chimchar. I do like the GTS over previous pokemon games.
 6. so I'm amazed that you picked Regan out as the Shakespearean character after watching ep 16 Dagger. I mean Balthasar from "the Merchant of Venice" was the more obvious one for me there. At the same time Antonio...or at the least the name comes from the same play, Shylock is mentioned back in ep 3, and finally the doctor, Launcelot. I guess once I've finished watching the series I'm gonna go back through and pick out the names from Shakespeare plays and compile a list of the plays that get a gander via characters. Or at least of the ones I'll have read by the end of this semester. :P On another note I could have almost seen Hermione pulling an Ophelia during this ep but alas
it looks like it won't be so especially after she seems to loosely befriend Juliet.
However this ep was definitely a cut on the budget compared to the level of detail in all the previous eps. I have to agree however that Fransisco and Curio are very much Kurogane and Fai though I don't mind it as I love Tsubasa Chronicle. On a final not (and I shouldn't have read your ep 17 synopsis as it gives away too much interesting info) I'm going to take a guess here and say that
Titus dies when his wine is poisoned? Just a guess since he remarked at the end of the ep that his "drink never betrays him".
7. Thanks that helps out a lot. In fact my answers will actually stay after that :D
 8. didn't take part in the last one as I couldn't name 5 people for it. Anyway can we get a more defined term for "still a kid"? Here's my answers but may change when we get a definition. 1. Gohan (DBZ) 2. Naruto 3. Ash (pokemon) 4. Sakura (Card Captor Sakura) 5. Yugi (yu-gi-oh)
 9. I can see why you only had quick thoughts on 15 and 16 Dagger especially after just watching 15. I'd like to say not a lot happened but that not a lot was slowly progressed up to throughout the whole of the episode. we did however
get a nice reminder that Neo Verona and it surroundings are actually on a floating continent/Island.
It was something I had forgotten. Mind you I think the current events are the anime's equivalent
to Romeo's banishment from Verona in the play so the death count may end up being not what we expect in the end.
As for your point regarding them pulling names out of the hat I would have to say that this is not so much the story of Romeo and Juliet and is it a tribute to all of Shakespeare's plays with RxJ at the centre. On another note with the inclusion of Willy it gives the sense that it's following the notion that all of Shakespeare's plays were in fact based partly on his life experiences. I've read some very interesting thing regarding that concept and the play Hamlet. Finally ep16 very much looks like they're budget cutting on the animation department just from the preview. Maybe they're saving for something big.
 10. I must say I just watched the first two eps of this and I like. Though at times it seemed the skimped a bit on animation (bobble head/stick figure sections) it was still quite good. I guess another reason I liked it is the Saiyuu's for the two guys sounded like the ones for Rabi and Kanda from D.Gray-man but haven't looked that up yet. I generally don't listen to the anime fandom community when I watch series. I check out various things and pick what i like. In fact I think there have been times when I've enjoyed and watch full series that the community has claimed is trash. Just a preference of choice I guess.
 11. Just saw ep 14 and I must say that it appears that this ep was a lot more somber then previous eps. As Dagger said
it was probably to show Romeo that the entire system is at fault but I also have a very different view. I believe it wasn't just to show how at fault the system is but to give Romeo a wake up call regarding how the world is really like. He has spent so long sheltered within the keep and know's little outside his life as a noble. This ep gave a very different view to him.
In some ways it could be said that
Petruchio's role was only minor here as well, but his death could be defined as having a great resonance on what Romeo is going to do in the future.
As for Juliet. I'm certain
That she has said that she is resolved about her actions on at least one occasion and then panicked when the real thing happens. In some ways she also seems sheltered but not quite to the extent of Romeo. However as she has said again that she is not going to falter in her task I'm interested in seeing where it goes from here.
Finally I must say that the beginning of ep 14 would suggest that it is the mid point of the series with
Willy having his own monologue shown with clips from previous episodes.
Edit: On a somewhat unrelated note, I've started a semester on Shakespeare as one of the last 4 subjects to complete my arts degree. Strangely enough we're not studying Romeo and Juliet.
 12. I'm really interested where the anime fits in with the game series after ep 4. I mean i'd heard rumors that it came between DMC3 and DMC1 but that can't be true now. Ep 4
had the introduction of Trish who knows Dante on a more personal level then if it was before DMC1.
So now I'm of the mind that maybe it comes between DMC1 and DMC2.
 13. I think this is also hard cause there is many interpretations of what it means to be strong. I mean my last one here is not physically strong, but strong when it comes to weapons expertise and strong headed :p 1. Goku -Dragon ball Z 2. Uchiha Itachi - Naruto 3. Zaraki Kenpachi - Bleach 4. Kuchiki Byakuya - Bleach 5. Gilgamesh - Fate/Stay Night 6. Revy - Black lagoon
 14.
What do you mean by 'unshown'? That fight was portrayed in its entirety. It just ended unexpectedly, is all.
Bah turns out I was missing a chapter or 2 in the middle. Didn't notice because I've been very consistant in my reading (usually).
 15. On your first point Ikillion not being able to remove the mask
would mean his hollow side has taken over and won.
On your second point yes I did notice that and the latest chapter had some insight on that. The unshown fight between
Ulquiorra and Ichigo gets a mention here. Nell mentions the fact that with the mask on that Ichigo was beating Ulquiorra, which means that he didn't lose until he reached his limit.
Should be interesting now that Ichigo has resolved himself in the current fight.
 16. I don't quite think he's perfected it because
The first few fights in Hueco Mundo he wasn't able to hold it for long and so finished the fights quick. Same when fighting Ulquiorra he wanted to finish it quickly. I think it's more that his urge to defeat Grimmjow and with Orihime there that's brought out his urge to control that power more.
17. Sadly based on the answers of previous rounds: 1. Naruto (self explanatory) 2. Inuyasha (self explanatory) 3. Chrno Crusade (Chrono) 4. Astro Boy (Astro) 5. Baki the Grappler (Baki) 6. King of Bandit Jing (Jing) Edit: complete...actual character names in brackets.

 19. YAY rejoices. Can't wait for season 2. But looked at ANN and they said the official announcement won't be until tomorrow the 7th July. So more details soon hopefully.
 20. well ep 12. Hard to cover stuff that Dagger hasn't already done so I'll keep it simple this time. good ep (won't explain as what i thought was good is the same as dagger explained), though I really want to know about
the guy with the pipe. He is very mysterious and why is he helping both of them.
I do have to ask though, is it me or
does Juliet seem a bit suicidal? I mean taking those vows a bit seriously, while it is being faithful, in this circumstances seems a bit stupid. She hasn't been one for thinking things through properly though. She does things spur of the moment and they get her in trouble.
However good to see that the other characters
are all good and well. To an extent.
21. this one will probably have a lot with similar answers. 1. Shenron (the dragon) 2. Tien 3. Vegeta 4. Bulma 5. Krillin Just thought I'd be different though.
 22. I'm not really suprised that Battle Rev. is a disappointment. I learned after Stadium to stay away from the console Pokemon games and stick with the handheld versions mainly because I prefer the RPGs. I picked up the first of the Gamecube ones because they included an RPG element but it was very watered down and didn't have the depth that the handheld ones do. I didn't even try getting the second gamecube one since a friend told me it was similar in style to the first one for the RPG. However I guess some people enjoy the battles themselves and I guess the reason they'd get something like stadium, coliseum or Battle Rev. is so that they can fight it out in 3D with the pokemon they've worked hard to raise.
 23. Just reading the last few chapters I'm interested in where the next chapter will lead.
I mean When Fei Wong Reed appears Fai, Fai says that he wants Yuui to be saved. At this point neither of them are dead. But is it possible that the one with Ashura is Fai and the one who has been traveling with Syaoran's Crew is really Yuui? I guess the next chapter will explain that better. Same reason with why Fai's twin still looks the same age as when he was thrown in the pit or the tower
24.
And when has Ganon ever made anyone feel sorry for him? I really don't think he cares what anyone cares. He doesn't even have minions. He just takes what is rightfully not his and rids anyone that opposes him (aside from Link, obviously).
I always considered Twin Rova (or how ever you spell it), the twin witches to be his minions in the Zelda games that they appeared in, i.e OOT and the oracles games. I would also have to say that
Zant
definitely comes off as being one of Ganon's underlings. @ 2007DigitalBoy You must play Shadow hearts 1. It is great and it doesn't skimp on the gore which the other two seem to have less of as they were made. the opening cut scene will blow your mind. I haven't played Koudelka which is the prequel to the series, but I'm currently playing through the third in the series and don't think too highly of it so far.
 25.
Otherwise... hm... there were two pretty cool villains from Shadow Hearts Covenant. the first is Nicolai who's just all around cool. He's the cool, collective type who obliges to the madmans commands until his own plans come into fruition. He's extremely knowlegable and he has a sense of humor, which is awesome. We never even really see him get angry, and his fight is pretty difficult. The final bad guy though, is
Kato
who was also pretty cool.
Throughout the game he seems to be on your side, but he ends up turning against you. He's cool in the way that he's mysterious but knows what he's doing at all times. I still haven't beaten him at the end of the game.[/spoiler']
I wasn't a big fan of Nicolai as a villain, in fact I preferred
Rasputan
in that. The whole final villain being
Kato
was a suprise though as in the first game
he is definitely on your side by the end of the Japan/china sections of the game
.
