games I'm looking forward to in 07: PS2: Final Fantasy XII (still not out in australia) PS3 (no aus release yet also): Metal Gear SOlid 4 Final Fantasy XIII God of War 2 Devil May Cry 4 Elder SCrolls 4: Oblivion Wii (when I get one): Super Smash Bros. Brawl Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Fire Emblem DS: Final Fantasy 3 Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Dragon Quest IX That's all I can think of at the moment. FFXII finally get released here in Feb and PS3 gets released in Marcg. Already preordered my copy of FFXII but till that's released I'll be spending more of my time and money on the WoW expansion being released next week.

12:07am of the new 1st of Jan '07. happy new year. ANyway my plans are to kick my wow addiction, hopefully keep my girlfriend, and do well in my final year of uni. Not to mention get a part time job.

Just watched ep13 and must say that this series just gets better and better as long as they stick to the storyline. Looking at the preview for ep 14 however, it looks like they're going to throw in a few filler eps which is a bit disappointing. I mean I read the manga and know how the story goes but at the same time it's cool seeing what I already know happens animated.

I'm not sure if this is an indication of the speed at which they're moving but I'm currently reading the manga after I see eps and keeping up that way. ANyway as I'm getting it in chapters that's the way I'll be saying this of 108 chapters in the manga I've currently read 25 and I'm exactly where episode 11 finishes. I'm not sure how quick that means they're moving but I'd say they're almost 1/3rd of the way through their currently planed episode count and yet barely 1/4 of the way through the plot of the manga. I do however know that anime series will differ on occasions from their manga counterpart but as this has almost been the same I'm not sure how it will go.

I guess probably one of the moments that I liked the most (that I can think of now) would have to be in the [U]Fullmetal Alchemist[/U] movie, [spoiler]where Wrath fights with the warped form of Gluttony[/spoiler]. This is simply because it's a moment where a character has the chance to redeem himself. It always has an effect on me when a character who is not inherently evil has a chance to regain trust and make up for the evil they may have done before. Well I finished my first play through 2 days ago and in my opinion TP is the best Zelda game since A Link to the Past. The story is just so much more involving then some of the other games and I must say I absolutely love Midna. Anyway It only took me about 27 hours to complete though I kinda tried a fast run through taking minimal notice of sidequests. Also it's probably slightly easier on the Gamecube since you're using the old fashioned game pad rather then the wii-mote and nunchuku. My only problem overall is probably that the bosses were too easy, and that there is no hard mode. ANother problem that people seem to have had that I didn't is that Zelda and Ganondorf only really get loose fitting mentions and seem to have been added as last minute thoughts. I tend to disagree on this point as having played the oracles games, they are more so in this direction when you link them together in comparison to TP. Now to play through a second time trying to get all the sidequests done. Totals for those interested were: 27 hours played 16 hearts 26 poe souls 8 bugs (only 3 pairs) All hidden skills found Magic armor obtained

I got this game on gamecube yesterday. yes poor poor me can't afford a wii so have to deal with the downgrade. ANyway From what I've played so far and what I've seen of the wii version, there is no difference with the exception of the controls. In fact I played the game for 11 hours yesterday and finished the first 3 dungeons. I have to say I love this game. Probably the most challenging Zelda game in a long time, and in my opinion, the greatest Zelda story since Link to the Past. I absolutely love Midna. Don't understand who's side she's really on, but that's what makes her so great as a character. SO far the hardest boss for me was the mini-boss in the second dungeon, kept rolling off the platform when trying to do a jump slash. But I have to say that 3rd dungeon reminds me of the water temple in OOT. Long and complex.

so I predicted a while back that the fillers should end around ep 110. Looks like this might even be a little bit sooner depending on how long the drag out this latest fight. Onto the good bit though. No matter how bad the fillers are there is always a good ep. ANyway ep 106 was not good because of the actual content but because there is a preview for the movie which was released in Japan recently. All I have to say is WoW. don't want to give away what the preview had so I'll end there.

Ignore my last comment about dattebayo dropping naruto. Appears it was them trolling.

Naruto has been dropped by Dattebayo. In other news I kinda stopped watching Naruto after ep 151, because I got tired of the fillers quickly. I decided I wasn't gonna start watching again until the timeskip arc began. Guess I'll be attempting to learn Japanese soon so I can watch the raws.

I've been reading it so far. The thing about the manga however is the fact that by the point they reached in the manga [spoiler]Lucy does not go to face the troops like in the anime and Mariko is not killed by a bomb, but rather by Lucy[/spoiler]. I'm still only half way through the manga as of the moment so I'm views are only what I've read. The other thing that should be noted about the manga is that the director [spoiler] does not want Lucy dead but rather they want to capture her so as to use her to change the world[/spoiler].

I'm really enjoying the manga. I've currently read all the available chapters. I however started reading this just before the first ep of the anime was released. When I do that I usually try to stay with the anime in my reading like I am for Death Note but for this I had to read ahead. In recent chapters though I'm a bit disappointed that we don't get to find out information on certain characters history.

They did however put the those chapters into eps at eps 6 and 7 after the mission with Kanda. This sort of breaks down the flow and in my opinion they didn't quite capture the point of those chapters as well as they could of. In my opinion it sounds a bit too childish, and after reading the manga I would have thought it would sound slightly more mature then it does.

OMG I can't wait now. reading the novels I absolutely love the Haruhi Suzumiya series. I hope the second series primarily focuses on the Disappearance of Haruhi novel or the making of the film (similar to how the melcancholy of haruhi novel was the main focus of the first series with extra eps from other chapters)...2 of the best novels so far. But then again I'm only in the middle of reading volume 4.

I've been reading translated versions of the novels recently. SO far I'm part way through Volume 4. ANyway the novels themselves are out of order but the chapters within the novels are the correct order. From what I've read so far there is deffinitely the content available for a second series but it's possible that they won't make it. I do have to say that at times reading chapters of the novels covered by the anime has more perks then watching the show. I mean for the chapter Lone Island Syndrome [spoiler] having a drunk Haruhi is so much funnier than anything in the anime[/spoiler].

I've primarily been reading the manga of this. Mainly because I'm waiting for a friend to download season 2. However I did see all of season 1 before starting on the manga so I was able to pick the differences (though few) quite easily. I can't wait to see how the anime shows it for season 2. I mean the manga (or scanlations I'm reading) have just reached one of my favourite clamp worlds.

I've never read any of the manga, so jumped head first in when I started watching the anime. ANyway I'm loving it at the moment and the way I've been describing it from the first 2 eps is "as sadistic as Gantz without the gore and nudity." Not sure how accurate that will turn out to be. I'm going to continue watching it however. Also I was intrigued by the fact I'd heard there was a live-action movie and decided to check it out. Well I found the site for the second film, soon to be released, and had to search youtube for trailers of the first. I'm now very enthralled and want to see the movies as well if I can get my hands on subbed versions.

Yay.[/FONT][/SIZE'][/COLOR][/quote] the thing about that though, is that even if the OP is changed ever 25 eps or so, the ED seems to be changed every 12-13 eps. looking at how the ED still shows Ririn, Cloud and Nova it's likely that the fillers won't end till about ep110.

I think it's more me getting ready for the WoW expansion pack. For some reason I've always had more fun playing that game then GW. When the expansion comes out I'm gonna invest all my spare time into getting my characters to 70 and raiding. They're also changing the PvP system to a GW style which I did find superior. But at the moment since my WoW guild has disbanded I'm gonna focus that character on PvP taking up more time in a last ditch effort to get ranks and gear. playing 2 MMOs is a lot of work to keep up with.
