Link's Awakening (Link's Awakening DX). (Desbreko excluded) What is a Desbreko and which game did it appear in?

Armos Statues: The 6 knights you must defeat (as a boss) in Past to get the first Pendant (Courage, I think). You find them squashed into one fiercesome knight (as undefined boss, perhaps mini, but he was in his own section, sooo....) in the first part of the Face Shrine, where you learn from a tapestry about Koholint. Lanmolas: The three centipede creatues that leapt about in the final boss room of the Desert Palace, where you get the Pendant of Power. Again, the three were squashed into one in the desert area of Koholint island, where you fetch the key to one of the dungeons (Angler key, I think). Finally, the really big fuzzy Centipede that I cannot remember the name to, but he gets hurt when you strike his tail. He protected the final Pendant (as well as the Moon Pearl, to a certain extent), and shows up as the first final boss in Tail Cave, Koholint (complete with falling pits). My question: What are the three tribal names for the Spiritaul Stones in Ocarina of Time, and where can their symbols be commonly seen (different answer for each one)?

DUngeons and Dragons corrupts Christians?
Originally posted by Medra When Christian mothers [directed to the ones that started all of this ******** about D&D] make a child read a bible all day long, and that child ends up quoting scriptures as he's in a bell tower with a 30-30, who's fault is it? The parents. But if the child happened to play a five minute session of a violent game, suddenly socity lashes out at the likes of Rockstar and Running With Scissors. THAT'S why I'm so aggressive when it comes to topics like that. And Ginny, no. As far as I know, there are no mentally/physically challenged NPCs in the GTA games.
Thanks for clearing up the GTA3 thing, but careful on that religious bit. You make it sound as if it's only the Christians who do that. :therock: We kinda need to back off of the supposed stereotypes, please; I sense another religious bashing flame thingy floating on the horizon. -
OoC: I'll come back as long as I don't get yelled at again by people who have NOT created the RPG. I can understand sage getting upset, but the rest of you need to back off of my creativity. Not to sound arrogant, but it is anyway: most of the RPGs, though taken for a slight twist with my posts, always became very readable and enjoyable. So back off. Till next post.

EB has yet to call, according to my parents. Well, I have an art project due Weds., so it's best to get that out of the way first and THEN spoil my free time. ^_~ Plus, I can get more Master Quest in that way. *is getting excited*

I don't know why they even bothered with Lance--he hardly says anything. And how dare they screw with my favorite villian with that?!? I'm still seething over it.

We've heard of irony, right? ;) That's what the banner is indicating. Out of curiosity, is that Vincent from FF7? If so, it's a good picture of him.

*laughs, pointing to his last line* Oh, the irony. (Um, that's irony, right? Or humor? Or...*hates English*) -

Was it the flames or the mission directives (which, I was told, one included running over a handicapped person)? -

DM=Dungeon master. And I never said that temptation is sin. Just clearing that up. ;) I'm sorry if you misinterpretted me. I once played a board game called Hero's Quest. It had additional expansion packs and was a lot of fun (I dunno if any of you know of this game). My grandmother had gotten it for me, but warned me never to tell my mom, for fear my mom would go ballistic. Again, though, it's only a problem if you go out and actually do that stuff (black magic, murder and theivery, etc). I never did, I never will. I know when Pokémon first filtered into our house years ago, I was afraid of my parents banning it because of the "evolution" bit (which, personally, I believe is a misnomer--it's more like metamorphosis, in the sense of butterflies and now I'm rambling). Anyways, my parents just asked me one thing: "do you believe in evolution now that it is in your game?" I told them that no game or show would ever sway me from what I personally believed in, nor could any person. I was making my own choices. They were so impressed with my maturity that they have respected my decision on my forms of entertainment since. Look at it this way: people could claim that the FF series or other video games are just as bad as D&D, but no one's picking on them (or the majority of them, anyway). It's just a game. -
Beat the game in under 12 hours. @_@ What element is Kjuta/Kjata (sp?) considered in FF7?
-
I  this game!!! ^_______^ I've noticed a few things other than the overhauled dungeons, namely the items being a lot more shinier (the masks and the heart/heart pieces in particular), and the music changing slightly. The details are more clearer on the characters, and there isn't as much "polygon shifting" as on the first one. *gush gush gush* Still the qualms with the pausing and saving, but nothing that can overtake my re-found love for this game.

You missed one, but yeah, you got the most of the answer, soooo... My turn, anyway! ;) Question: What Eidolons can you see on the Eidolon Wall (or whatever it is called) in FF9?
-
I hold that the Zelda games are in a league of their own (though a few others do follow the Zelda trend, like Dual Hearts, and to a lesser extent, the Insomniac games, like Spyro, Ratchet&Clank, and so on.).

Beh I just can't afford to get a GBA, the link thingy, and whatever else I need to get the extra stuff! ;_; I liked it better when everything you needed was right there in the game; but then, they wouldn't be able to turn a profit off of that...*grumbles darkly* The worst that we had in OoT is the Agony Stone (right name?), and you could still find the stuff even without it (provided you had a pretty detailed player's guide or website to stare at). Anyone know if there are real time events going on in this game, too? (Like day into night, and so on.)

Tornado. ^____________^ More FFX questions: How do you get each of Tidus' Overdrives (four in all)?

DUngeons and Dragons corrupts Christians?
GinnyLyn replied to REVENGE2's topic in General Discussion
Revelation. Non-plural, my dear Justin. ;) I once had a weird bible study leader gripe me out for that. What everyone said, pretty much. When you start getting into it, it's not a matter of corrupting a Christian so much as any person living in some fantasy world too much--and yes, needing pysche help by that point. The question has been raised of the mere thought of doing what is considered a sin is sin itself. Therefore, some of the people that seem to warp certain faiths *delicately treds fine line of debate* like to scream nice and long about how it's screwing with our youngsters. Ya know what? The kids are gonna find out about the rest of the world, one way or another. Keeping them in the dark will just make them all the madder when they find out they been kept sheltered, keeping them from developing in a social and societal sense. I played DnD once. I don't see what the big deal is, either for it or against it. Final Fantasy tends to float my boat a lot more. (Though I recall getting into a food fight with a dwarf using sacred but rotten temple fruit. What weirdness. *lol*) -
Too many. Beh, lemme try this again. 4, I believe. The first time at Ifrit's temple, then at Guadosalam, then at Home, then you see Dona alone on the Airship. (You see her Guardian once by himself in Macalania Woods.) IF THAT IS RIGHT, then how many times do you meet Belgimmine and where? (Or has that already been asked?)

What do you do when you don't know what to say to someone?
GinnyLyn replied to Rhys Mayiessen's topic in General Discussion
Heh, silly Mitch. You aren't the one I'm upset about right now. BTW, I'm PM my AIM name to ya, if you promise not to share. *realizes she just said that in a public forum* DANGIT! Fine, I'll trade it for a pic of ya to draw. -
What do you do when you don't know what to say to someone?
GinnyLyn replied to Rhys Mayiessen's topic in General Discussion
I'm pretty quiet myself. I put in a lot of "Bwee"s and "Bwaa"s and "hee hee hee"s into my AIM conversations just as filler, because I don't know what to say. Getting silly is always fun, as long as the other person is in the mood. Which prolly won't work in this sitch, with your strained relationship right now. I'm a good listener. But if I knew the answer to your question, Rhys, I wouldn't be in the mess I'm in. *stares at certain people* -
Anybody care to get this thing rolling again?
-
OoC: Maybe I wouldn't misunderstand if you people--!!! *starts to mutter darkly* Look, I already dumped one RPG, and if I want to make it 2 in as many days, I will, temper biding. *stalks off to delete post* Geez, I was just trying to feed into your thread that you have that seems to be floating about the heads of the rest of us.

Yes, he is. :luv::love:

You definitely fill the empty spaces. We learned a term for this in art class this past week: "horro..." um...oh shoot, forgot the other word, but basically, it meant "fear of empty spaces". Not to say it's a bad thing. Far from it. Most collage banners have gaping hole backgrounds, or noticeable cutoff points for the images. This one is pretty seamless, so, again, I commend you, TN. *claps* Now how about an Auron one? ;)

Hmmm....lined paper is not your friend. Out of curiosity, are you using a scanner or a digital camera? Anyways, do try to get ahold of non-lined paper if you can. :)
