She stood off to the side, out of view; her black cape stifled any chances of roving eyes spotting her in the darkness. "Foolish idiots," she muttered. "Great, now I'm starting to sound like a typical villian..." Her ruby eyes glinted evilly in the depths of her hood, and her delicate mouth parted, to show two pearly fangs. "But after all..." Below, the teenagers helped each other up, voicing confusion, wonderment, some strolling away from the others, some clinging in little groups. All of it sickened Halo. No one had bothered with her when she had-- Her leathery wings rustled beneath her cape. "Enough of that. Best to strike when they are still weak and vulnerable." She put a hand to the Crimson Grasp, a glove secured tightly to her right wrist. If the silver studs shaped like teeth that dug into her skin wasn't proof enough, then the many straps of leather she had wrapped around it should. The Crimson Sphere glowed dully, as if remembering echoes of brighter shining. "Let's see how you deal with this!" Halo hissed vehemently. Out of the sphere came a poisonous cloud, black with red coloring. It dropped to the ground, where it took the form of a large snake, black with red diamonds. Halo placed her right hand on its head, stroking it, sharing its amber gaze with her own. In a moment, she could see through the snake's eyes. "Now GO!" The serpent slid off toward the unsuspecting group.

AJeh, I couldn't find any animated gifs, but here's a good Zax image (as opposed to all the yaoi ones @_@): http://www.kekkai.org/bishink/zax/20.html http://www.kekkai.org/bishink/zax/15.html Lookie! Lots of fun animated gifs!! http://members.fortunecity.com/butterflysedge/anigifs.html (I can't seem to pull this for you all, because they are .bmps, which means...eh...difficult to get them to show up for the avatar. Lemme work on that. Oo; *points at the pretty Rikku one for C_l* Braidless Bra: Apparentally, the only known gif in existence. >.

Sounds nifty. I'll give it a shot. Can I be a bad guy/gal? Name: Halo Shacolus Age: 19 Sphere: Crimson Sphere Weapon: Crismon Grasp-because she can form any illusion, Halo relies on her Sphere alone; it is mounted in a silver studded, leather glove on her right hand. (A poisoned dagger is kept in an ankle shackle.) Gender: Female Bio: When she was younger, Halo was tormented by nightmares filled with hellish images. Unable to be cured, she wandered from home one night, following the call of a voice that spoke of sweet relief. Unfortunately, it was not the call of the true Anonymous caller, but some far sinister. Halo has been instructed in the control of her nightmares and other types of illusions, so much so that she can project them onto other people, causing them to be very real. Because of this, Halo herself has undergone a physical transformation... Description: Ruby eyes, violet hair, skin of a blueish purple tint. Common seen with a black cloak draped around her, a hood big enough to cover her face. Beneath is...(see attached)...however, none have seen her true form and lived. Her Crimson Grasp glove is secured to her right wrist.

Writing The Legend of Zelda: Heart of a Dragon
GinnyLyn replied to Sheikahmon's topic in Creative Works
Yes, I agree. I definitely like seeing the Goddesses with some personalities. ^^ Aside from Valoo, who is a protective god in Wind Waker, I really haven't seen many good dragons. This new one could be a protective spirit of some sort too, so Hyrule would need it just as much as anyone else, in the long run if not in the short, my dear Dessy Lu. ;) More. NOW. -
People don't plan to fall in love, period. (Unless they are really really weird--stalker types.) ^^; Love, like, friendship, whathaveyou--it all happens when it happens. I have to agree with the physical aspect, though--if you never meet, then there really is no point, is there? I have yet to meet any really bad liars or sexual predators myself--but that is because I use common sense. I only talk to people I feel comfortable talking to (anotherwords, people I met here). And I always watch just how much personal info gets out.

That's my whole thought on it--since I am in an online relationship of my own. *happy grin* Yes, there are dangerous freaks and weirdos out there, but to be honest, if the people that I've known for over a year now were going to try something, they would have by now. Shaun and I are actually going to meet this summer, which should be a lot of fun! Both of us were/are really self conscious about the way we look, so getting to know each other's personalities first has been a great help. It also falls into my thought that, even if a guy is drop dead gorgeous, if he is a jerk, I won't have anything to do with him. He turns ugly, in the mind's eye. I know three different couples that have been married for several years now that met online, but I wouldn't recommend online dating for everyone. Every case is different, and as such, there is no one, right, blanket opinion that we can lay on this topic. Just remember to be careful--if someone starts asking for your personal info within the first week of knowing you, that's a major red flag to stay away from them. It's better to get to know people through MBs like this one and then develop a friendship on AIM or, later, over the phone. *smiles at Shaun* I'll tell you if my opinion has changed on this matter at all after June. :)

A good reason not to mix Viagra and steroids.

Don't touch the image! *slaps OutlawDragon's hand away from it* Just fix the text color. *points to it* 9/10. ^_^

Was that iV or Vi, as far as the Summon went in the Japanese version? Ooooo, can't remember! >.< (And are we talking about the kind you can see, or....'cause there was that one room at the HoneyBee Inn in Vii.)

Bird Peak and Needle Point Island, if I remember the names correctly (it's all a part of the grand Triforce hunt scheme). You need to use the gull to knock the switches (before the bigger birds get the gull first, natch). If I am right: Question: In Wind Waker, what are the three colors of the Rupee wallet icon, and which represents which compacity (number to hold)?

Is there ever a good enough reason for suicide?
GinnyLyn replied to wrist cutter's topic in General Discussion
Mei covered it pretty well for me. Suidical people are NOT stupid, as Charles pointed out. But sometimes I wonder if it is a scream of attention. I've seen the effects of suicide from a distance, I've felt attempted suicide both second and first hand. Now, unless you are just completely devoid of emotions, you're feeling some knee-jerk reaction to go, "Oh, I'm so sorry for you!" Human nature. There are levels, I believe, of suicidal people. You got your fleet thinkers who aren't really gonna do it, your attention getters who are just down on their luck, and your serious people who desperately need help. I had a nasty spell of being at the dangerous end of the second one (nearly into the third), until I saw my mom blow past me and attempt back in Feb. I know most of you remember that. Her reasoning was that nobody loved her and that the only person that HAD died nearly a year ago (my *bitter sarcasm* wonderful uncle */bitter sarcasm* that she talks about endlessly now). Do you have any idea how much it broke my heart for her to accuse me of never loving her? So, I'm sorry, Charles, but the people around a suicidal person are not responsible 100%. That is one thing the people left behind struggle with constantly. I still ache from wondering if I was responsible for Mom's attempt. Even now, we are still uncomfortable talking about it, me and her. She was always the type to get attention to push her insecurities away (and I am just like her, so don't think I'm dissing on my mama), living with the traumatic childhood, etc. But, because I know how she feels because of how I feel, there are some steps she could have taken to prevent this. My aunt feels that her attempting brought it clear to the surface my mom was suffering. I've seen a little change in the family attitude toward Mom, and whether it achieved what she was trying...who knows. It's hard to be around her for me now, though...it's as if she's made it MORE difficult for me to give her attention (and I used to think we were best friends, till this...). Seeing what happened because of this fortunately snapped me out of my depressive state--I swore I would never let it happen to me. It hasn't yet. As far as "is it justifiable?", I think that, one a suicidal person is in that state of mind, they are beyond the reach of what they consider "justifiable". We can judge, from outside their pain and hurt, whether it was (and I feel there never is a good reason), but we won't be in the realm of feeling what they are. I've seen both sides (just about)--believe me. OK, so there's my ramble. And here's a question to add on to the first one: is attempting as "bad" (for a tremendous lack of a better word) as the actual suicide? Is attempting justifiable? -
Fair 'nough. For the record: Makar, Aldo, Drona, Elma, Hollo, Irch, Linder, Oakin, Olivio, and Rown. Question: Which of the ten Koroks flew the Deku sprouts all over the world, and which stayed at Forest Haven? (Bonus points if you tell me what role the two that stayed home play, and MAJOR MAJOR bonus points and a cookie if you can tell me which island each of the eight went to.) Methinks that should be easier.

*grumbles* But it's still a sword regardless! *bawls* Pffft.

First off, I'd recommend that you be at least old enough to go for the rating (PG-13) and had a slighty lude and crude sense of humor. Personally, I felt there were some jokes that could have been left out, they were so tasteless (the crazy sister). There were also some plot points that were weird or just made no sense. The explanation at the end was, I felt, a cop out. I was very very confused about Buddy Rydell until the very end. Not good. HOWEVER, Sandler and Nicholson (sp?) played off each other very well. For once, Sandler's usual vulgarness was restrained until the predictable explosion moments, which helped his character a lot (I don't care for Sandler's characters half the time). Nicholson played the doctor with demonic glee, though, like I said, because of the writing I was left confused about his character. Two of my favorite scenes: the singing on the bridge and backing the car out from in front of another car. I was laughing so hard at those moments...heh. My rating: 7/10. Could have done better, could have done a LOT worse. (It could have been Carrey and Nicholson, *violent shudder*) "Temper's the one thing you can't get rid of by losing it." ~Buddy Rydell

Not too shabby. HOWEVER, Piro (by himself) gets my full 10/10 attention--that is just plain bad-(butted) the way you did him. Wowza. Makes me think of Ozzie. Oo;

If no one has my answer by tomorrow, then I will post a new question. Just a friendly reminder. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Question: Which Zelda game(s) feature four different sword strengths? (Without the use of magic or another item besides the sword itself).
BTW, Desbreko, on the four swords question you posted earlier, would Majora's Mask count as part of the answer? You have the Kokiri Sword (x1), the Razor Sword (x2), the Gilded Sword (x3), and the Fairy Sword (x4). I think that if you can temper the sword in Past and count it, then tempering the sword in Mask can count too...though you use Gold Dust to...aw, frig it...@_@

Let's see--we have seven people so far? (Not counting sage.) Sakuramon=Freya (iX) GinnyLyn=Auron (X) calumon_luver=Rikku (X) Zidane=Zidane (iX) Draagul=Tidus (X) JCBaggee=Squall (Viii) Tasis=Cloud (Vii) So we need three more, to make the tribes complete. And it should be empahsized that slacking on posting means you'll be ejected that much sooner. At least, that's my thought. Unofficial Survivor II died on me because the HOST stopped posting, not the people. (Sorry, sage!) But all participants should post regularly. I want to see this one to the end! :D Another one for sage: Tasis (in addition to the one you already have): (e hee hee) JCBaggee: Please remember to save the one(s) you want to your computer--I will need to clean my webspace out soon. Because that's been asked already; sorry. :( It's getting harder and harder to think of a question, so as a result, the questions are getting harder and harder.

*whines* I'm with you on that one. OK, as far as requirements, I'm pretty sure that would be the ones already included in your chart. Forbidden Fortress and Outset Island. And maybe Windfall. Not sure. Three? I'll edit if this is right. EDIT OK. Question: Name all the Koroks (10 in all). *dodges sharp pointy objects*

Whoa, one word post. Evil. *crosses fingers* And if we are talking Ocarina of Time, you get rupees after you get the bottle for putting the chicken back. Bweeka. ^^

If I recall correctly, the symbols originally appeared in Oracle of Ages, as the different tunes for Nayru's time warping harp. If I am right... Question: When Makar rides on the King of Red Lions, where does he sit and which way does he face?
-
Question: What are the names of the four Poe sisters, what color are they, and in what order do you find them in?

With the pigs, you could TELL they were pissed. One minute, they are running scared. The next, they snort, turn red, and charge you. I was freaking and having Link dive into the ocean to avoid the hot headed critters.
