Well OB is being screwy so I did a tiny test post to see if I could get it to update the thread and let me see Andrew's newest post. It worked and though I removed my test post, it seems that there is now two posts by you Andrew. In fact I had to do that here as well, post again and then remove the duplicate. XP Anyway, so it's Crystia's fault that you're character is now royalty Gavin? Fun! :p
Yeah, that was my bad. I posted the first one and then it started timing out and then it didn't turn up at all so I posted a second one and that didn't turn up. Then when I checked this morning they were both there. Lord knows what's ailing OB these days but I've deleted my second post now anyways. Looking forward to reading other new posts from you guys too.

Picture's changed, as much as I resent it. I can see why you have an issue with the dark skin tone but meh, it's changed now. And with regards to Darren's character being attached to mine, I've got no issues with that.

Dewi was quickly forgotten, he turned to place the Cello back into its case as the attendants returned to take them from him. "That's a fine instrument, do take good care of it." He spoke softly, and this time with a more relaxed accent. Each of them bowed, one taking the case from him, the other removing the chair and swiftly vanishing. Dewi put his gloves in his pocket and hung his overcoat over his shoulder while he lazily looked around. Soon, a tray of wine glasses passed him. Dewi snapped up a glass quickly as the attendant carrying it passed him by and took a quick sip, savouring the fine taste. He closed his eyes and sighed deeply, remembering the first time he tasted Asian wine, and indeed the first time he'd tasted wine full stop. Dewi didn't drink often, preferring to stay clear minded and clean in body for his late night activities, but it didn't hurt once in a while to get absolutely smashed. Dewi quickly drained the contents of his glass and reached for another as the attendant returned, but his grasp was beat by a rather dainty and delicate hand to the last glass. Dewi quickly drew back his hand and bowed deeply. "My apologies, M'lady." was quickly followed by a high pitched giggle. Dewi looked up enough to recognise the same pretty features he'd just been playing too, only a little more youthful. Dewi quickly grasped her free hand and bowed even deeper. "Lady Chang, if I'd known it was you, I wouldn't have thought to look at that glass, so much as reach for it!" He said, still bowing low. She giggled again, this time a little more heavily before reaching for his chin and pulling his eyes to meet her own. She gave a bright smile and then took a quick drink of the wine before speaking. "Please, you may call me Kay Li, Lord Jones." She spoke, much like her sister speaking in English for his benefit. "Very well Mistress Kay Li, but please, if you insist, I equally insist you call me Dewi. I've never really been fond of being called Lord." He said, smiling sarcastically. "I know what you mean," she giggled before continuing, "So much attention and expectation! It's all very troublesome. Although, that was some wonderful music! I was rather hoping you might play for me like you did my sister... Perhaps in my private quarters?" She said rather seductively before walking off as if she had no doubts that he would follow. Even if it wasn't expected of him to entertain the high class Chinese family by his orders from the King, he would have followed. And so he did.

I left it out of my sign-up, but assuming SunfallE doesn't mind (and that I actually get accepted into the RPG) I intended for my character to be her father since she didn't specify her lineage (either than Leonhart being her Grandfather of course). Any other problems with my sign-up, please let me know, I'd like to be a part of this.

Your name: Daedalus Zelgadis Almagest (Named for his Uncle but usually just called Zelgadis to avoid confusion.) Your age: 43 Your position inside the Almagest family: Son of Leonhart and Lady Patrice. Your portrait: Zelgadis (Providing no-one signs-up as Zelgadis' wife, then I'd like for the woman in the picture to represent that character.) Your occupation: Zelgadis has no paid occupation per se. He is, however, a master swordsmith and is responsible for molding the majority of swords used both in and outside of Czenovia. Your story: Very little of Zelgadis' early life stands out. He was good student with promising talent in alchemy like his father and nothing else. He began to work with potions in his spare time and kept very much to himself. After the tragedy of Lady Patrice's passing, Zelgadis became unstable with grief and began experimenting with mind-altering potions and various strong ales. After several years of wasting away (much to his father's displeasure) Zelgadis dropped his potions and his grief and became more physically active, training his alchemic skills for crafting swords. Using his links as an Almagest, Zelgadis trained under some of the oldest masters in both crafting and weilding the sword and devoted his life to the art. In this way, Zelgadis was able to make peace with his mother's departure and even came to be one of the only family members not openly hostile toward Lady Bavaria. In the many years now past, Zelgadis has become a regarded master for young swordsmen and alchemists alike. It should also be nooted that Zelgadis is opposed to all forms of violence and uses his art strictly for the physical and spiritual enlightenment it provides.

Uchiha Fugaku For the young Ninja of Konohagakure, the day had been interesting to say the least. Starting bright, sunny and filled with promise the young Genin-to-be eagerly waited for their turn to be taken before the examiners. The chance to demonstrate their hard-learned skills in defeating kage bunshin created by the examiners had been a focal point among the young nin for some time. As expected, young Fugaku had passed with little difficulty. Low-level jutsu like bunshin and henge were nothing to the future Uchiha Clan Leader who demonstrated such fire-based jutsu as the Grand Fireball. Such techniques were required for recognition from his father and the other high-clansmen, a form of proving ones manhood as it were. Despite the relative ease that Fugaku had passed with, he still felt a great sense of elation at holding his very own forehead protector. He had often played games when he was much younger, trying to steal his father's protector, insisting that if he could just wear it once, he'd surely have the power, courage and wisdom to become to leader of his clan. Thinking of it now he couldn't help but scowl at his child-like mentality, but this protector was indeed the first step to all those qualities he'd so desired in his innocence. Staring into the gleaming metal and remembering his early days gave his vision a weird blurring sensation, similar to those he'd felt when trying to activate his Sharigan. Fugaku quickly shook off the sensation and tied the protector around his forehead. He knew that, with his new Genin stature, it would only be a matter of time before he found the secret to unlocking his Kekkei Genkai.

I can't see the two pics of Rikku for whatever reason (although my computer is really crap, so that might be it) but if you wanna show off your body then you can't really go wrong with The Major. Although, you might have a problem unless your hair's naturally purple and you know where to get losta guns and stuff. ^_^ And you may as well be nude if you're planning on going as her dressed as she is in that picture. I'm also interested in this Tifa success you mention since I've seen a lot of people do her but they never quite get it right.

Christ, the number of people brought on to Anime via DB/Sailer Moon/Poké/Digimon is quite scary! Anyways, my first run in with Anime was in the early '90's when I was like 6/7. My brother and my cousins and I were well into the Street Fighter arcade game, so when there was a movie for it we jumped on it. Pretty much every chance we got we all sat and watched SFII: The Animated Movie by Manga productions (Still to this day one of my all-time favourites). Of course I was watching things like Transformers long before that but I'm not really sure if it's considered Anime by the masses. Then, a year or two later Sci-Fi (a channel here in the UK) started showing other Manga OVA's late every Saturday night. Me and my cousin would stay up to watch classics like Ninja Scroll, Violence Jack, Devilman and Fist of the North Star among other things. A lot of very graphic and adult themes in there for us 10 year olds to be dealing with. I can still remember giggling at Chun-Li's shower scene! ^_^ It is thanks largely to this slot of OVA's that I thought anime itself was called Manga. ¬_¬ Boy, that was embarrassing. When Pokémon came on, I was repulsed by it (although I love the games like nobody's business), I've never seen Sailor Moon and when my friends started watching DBZ I started teasing them for watching silly cartoons where people's hari changes colour. VERY embarrassing, since later, DBZ became my favourite (and probably still is) thing ever! Then when things like Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop started showing over here, my interest in Anime came to the forefront. That was the time when me and another friend of mine started downloading Anime. The first of which was Neon Genesis Evangelion. By God is that classic anime watching or what!? I'd known about manga (as in the books this time, and not what I thought the OVA's were ^_^) for a while at this stage but still hadn't really taken to them until I saw my first love. DBZ, in manga form! I started collecting it immediately to realise that it was a hundred times better than the anime. That's where I say the rest is History and that I'm now a rabid Anime/Manga collector!

I'm just recovering from some crappy stomach bug right now as it happens. The first two days I was just lazy so my usual gaming activities were totally dropped and instead I just sat watching the filth that's on TV during the day. And that's something I never do anymore at anytime is which TV. Now that I'm mostly better I've been doing a lot more netting and gaming again, which is pleasing. I was hoping that my Naruto manga's would have returned while I was sick but they only got here today and there was only half of them so I couldn't start reading them. ¬_¬ I've read them before and know what happens but I just hate reading things out of order, I'm just picky like that. As for getting better, I just let my body do all the work. Sod going to the Doctor's and getting all sorts of stuff, I just let me immune system do all the work and that's usually enough for me. I do tend to get weird cravings while I'm sick too, like wanting to eat Ice cream and cheese sandwiches. Go figure.

My secondary school had labels while I was there and still does now while my sister's there. The two most prevelant are the Chavs and Emos I'm told. Either way, I don't really care about that stuff. My self analysis is that I'm too weird to be normal and too normal to be weird and I stand by that. That works for all groups/labels/whatever too. In me there's (I'm sure) some aspect of any label you can possibly imagine but I don't really fit any one group too well. I'm kind of in the middle of it all in my own little world. Sure I had a group of main friends that I stuck with all through School who sometimes may have labelled themselves or eachother but I never really got in on that whole train. Too much effort to gain and maintain a label without faking it.
...so any one know a site that i could watch Avatar...
Surely you can just type it into Youtube search. Or you could try Torrent sites, or just try a regular old Google search for Avatar episodes. I know my friend uses Veoh to download everything else he watches and I've seen at least various Book 3 episodes on there too. Anyways, I just to come and give my comments on Book 3. So far I'm in total awe! The animation has improved greatly again from Book 2. Every scene seems so fluid and beautiful in my eyes, especially
Aang and Katara's dance in The Headband
. I've also found the drama, development and comedy have improvement greatly too! And you just know that
Iroh is gonna kick some major *** when he gets out!
Much love to Sokka again for his humour!
Sparky-Sparky-Boom Man!
That's some classy shÍt right there! I was dying to see Book 3 when it was announced and now I'm even worse for episode 10 and onwards! The
Invasion is gonna be fecking awesome
if the trailer is anything to go by!

Hooves and wheels collided with cobble. The horse drawn cart pulled up outside its destination. A lavish place to be sure, a beautiful Summer house with many tell-tale signs (at least for an educated man) of Chinese ownership. Even if Lord Dewi Jones hadn't already known he was visiting a noble Chinese house for the birthday of it's heir. Strange, he thought, Not often that Chinese nobilty have their Summer home in Nice, France. Especially with all the dirty French people. The last part flared his nostrils slightly with distaste. As the door to the cart was opened for him, Dewi pulled on his black leather gloves to complete his fine suit. He stepped down with all the grace and finesse that was expected of him and tilted his head slightly in thanks. Dewi always felt the little people deserved at least some praise. He took several paces to the steps leading to the courtyard where he was met by four Chinese guards. Bowing low and graceful he handed a set of papers to the first guard who nodded to the others and the gates opened steadily. As Dewi took the last few steps up to the main entrance he remembered the meeting that dictated his presence here in Southern France. Although French was one of the many languages he'd learned to speak fluently, as was his occupation, Dewi had always disliked France. He'd been called before one of the King's most trusted advisors. As usual, the Mighty King of England himself was either too busy or too lazy to speak with a dirty Welsh dog. Relations with China had been somewhat strained of late, he'd explained, and rekindling their relationship was left in Dewi's capable hands. Although how this birthday celebration had any relevance was beyond Dewi, but as usual, he obeyed and didn't question. Heading through the door he was greeted by an attendant who instructed him on the directions necessary to reach the royal birthday girl. With flawless precision and pride in his stride, Dewi reached the tall double doors (again guarded by grunts) and was led in. A middle-aged man in traditional Chinese garb annouced his name and presence while Dewi stopped a few steps away from the bed of pillows and bowed deep. "Lady Chang," He began before continuing with flawless Chinese pronounciation, "I am Lord Dewi Jones, Ambassador of his Royal Highness of Great Britain and representative of the Noble Family Jones of Cardiff, Wales. It is my great pleasure to wish you a very good birthday with many happy returns." He kept his head low and did not speak until she replied. She seemed impressed, but he knew his accent was a bit off, after all, he hadn't practiced his Chinese for quite some time. "Very good Lord Jones," She returned, impressed enough to proceed straight to speaking English, "Do you have a gift for me?" Dewi stood up straight and proud but avoided looking her directly in the face, not wanting to offend her. "If it pleases your Grace I could play for you? I am well versed musically, and clasically trained with both the Cello and the Piano from four years after birth." Di smiled fully, displaying her perfect white teeth and gestured to two attendants. They quickly returned, one with a chair another with a case that unmistakably held a Cello. The chair was placed behind him and the case handed to him. Dewi nodded to them and proceeded to open the case. It was indeed a fine specimin, one of the finest Cello's even Dewi had seen. Removing his gloves and overcoat, Dewi quickly wiped his hands with a cloth from his pocket and set the large instrument astride his legs. Picking up the bow, he closed his eyes and began to play. First a beautiful, high-pitched and slow melody wound its way from the instrument drawing the attention of many spectators. Dewi gradually brought in lower notes, alternating between major and minor cords and steadily upping the tempo. As he progressed his fingers moved faster and faster, playing more frantic and speedy tunes. The look of delight on the female heir's face was unmistakable. She likes it fast then he thought to himself before upping the tempo again. His fingers moved as if directed by lightning and the bow licked at the strings as fast as a deadly snake bite. The tempo progressed yet again as Dewi built up for the climax of his original piece and finished to a room full of applause. Dewi stood, bowed as was his custom and took his seat awaiting further instructions.

Just registering my interest now. I've never really seen or taken part in anything Steampunk before so this is pretty new to me and I think I like it already. I have a feeling that has something to do with the writing you guys have done on it.

I really never expected that Vic and D would have Lesbian tendencies. Really shows we don't talk enough. Anyways, I'm totally up for the women. For me, a life without getting my hands on juicy, delicious breasts (Vital that they ain't moobs or chicken) would be a life not worth living. If we're going by D's 'straight-o-meter' I'm straight up numero uno. Not much else to add here really.

Owns-ville: Sega Mega Drive II - Probably one of my all-time favourites right there. It's amazing it's still alive after about 15 years of my (Almost constantly) playing Sonic 3! Such a Legendary game! Mega CD - I had such fun playing the MCD's version of Spidey Vs. The Kingpin and the original Lethal Enforcers. That's probably one of THE best shooters I've played! Dreamcast - Yet another under-appreciated gem from good ole' Sega. I remember having hours of fun trying to win all the capsule toys on the original Shenmue and battling through hordes of zombies with Code: Veronica. Playstation (Yeah, the ugly hulky grey one!) - So many games of merit to point out with this baby. Sony just stepped in and took over the Gaming industry like nobody's business! Playstation 2 (Still on my first one and it's lasted near enough 5 years now) - Again, Sony just totally ripped through the competition. Both Metal Gear sequels, completed the Legacy of Kain series (still annoyed that Defiance was the last one) and many others. PSP - Bought this to play Liberty City Stories (and then they went ahead and released it on PS2 anyway) so haven't really played it much after I realised that Metal Gear Acid was absolute wÁnk. ¬_¬ Gameboy Colour (Note English spelling) - The purple little beauty I bought solely for Pokémon Yellow (and later Silver and Crystal). Nothing else to say. Gameboy Advance - Once again, bought solely for Pokémon Ruby because them games are just damn addictive! Gamecube - Bought this when I found out that the Resident Evil series was supposed to become Nintendo exclusive. What a rip-off that was. Although Resi Remake was absolutely awesome, as was Zero. I also use this for Sonic Mega Collection (So I don't have to set-up the Mega Drive everytime I want to play Sonic 3) and the amazing remake that is Twin Snakes. DS Lite - Yet again, bought for Diamond. I must admit there's a few titles for this I wanna pick up, but I just can't be bothered. Xbox 360 - Bought this on a whim for the Spider-Man 3 game and to borrow Dead Rising from my friend. I did buy Blue Dragon but totally forgot about it and recently used it for Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. That's it I think. I'm not in anyway inclined to get a Wii ever because of how there's only stupid, crappy mini-games available and an alienating controller for the lazy gamer of old. I shall most certainly be purchasing a PS3 when MGS4 comes out, no question.

Name: Dewi (Deh-Wee) Jones Age: 22 Country of Origin: South Wales, Britsh Empire Personality: As you'd expect of any nobility, Dewi is arrogant, head-strong and totally self confident. He also has natural charisma and traditional good looks and uses them both wisely and cleverly as a tool in many ways. Dewi does exceptionally well to hold a dignified and honourable exterior amongst the noble people and all foreign visitors while remaining far more informal amongst his small circle of good friends. Dewi may not always agree with his Country's and Great Britain's ways and ideals but he knows his place well and really doesn't see the need to oppose them in any way. Appearance: Clicky clicky Family History: The first-born male to Wales most noble family, Dewi enjoyed his young life, regularly joining his father in Cardiff's court house and offices learning the duties he would be expected to take over after his father. His mother also often took him to their second house in the Welsh Valley's where he enjoyed a simpler life and also where he got involved in the Welsh underground ring of fighting. During his teens, Dewi excelled in school and finished at the top of his class and became one of the most well-known (yet secret) young fighters in his nightly escapades. As such, he became known as one of Wales top young minds and flew easily through University and into his current position as an Ambassador for relations between Wales and Great Britain and for Great Britain and the rest of the world. Occupation: Ambassador for Welsh/Great British National and International relations. Social Standing: As an Ambassador working directly with the Royal family and as the first-born son of Wales most noble family, Dewi stands fairly high on the social ladder. He has a long list of female friends and lovers who he doesn't really care for, but is expected to entertain by his family. Secretly, he is also one of the most (in)famous bare knuckle fighters in the illegal tournaments that frequently take place in the Welsh Valley Mountains and has been since he was an early teen. Have you ever had revolutionary thoughts? Not really. Dewi is happy to play his role in high society and enjoy the good life. Like his grandfather, Dewi's only real passion is for the illegal, late night, mountaintop, bare-knuckle tournaments of which he is frequently the winner and an honourable guest. Dewi has the thought-process and good nature to be a revolutionary but is far too comfortable in his everyday life to bother engaging it. In all probability, without his late-night hobby, Dewi probably would indulge in those thought processess.

As we discussed, I'd probably still be some English goon living down in Cornwall (South of England for all ye not in the know) or some kind of Welsh farmer/commoner/Nobleman (Hell it's possible!). Before you suggested it, I was more siding with the Welsh nobility anyways, gives me a chance to get some PR for the Welsh. Something like that. It really does sound like an awesome idea too, really hope you get this into shape and in the Sign-up area (whatever the hell it's called this week).

Those inside-shoe/slipper things or whatever you wanna call them are fine with me. Gotta keep your little feet warm now haven't you?
...I took that thing and opened her door and tossed on her as she was sleeping in her bed. Needless to say within a week we weren't roommates anymore.
That is just plain awesome by the way!

That list doesn't look strict enough for my liking. You also forgot the part about lights you mentioned in your first post. For me, that always extends to sockets that aren't in use too. I hate wasting electricity to the point where I normally walk around in the dark unless it's necessary to find something. I say, you and me'd get on swimmingly if these rules were enforced and stuck to by everyone living there. Having said that, I'm lucky that I still live at home and the majority of this behaviour is already firmly set in my mother (which is where I got it). Although, my father and my sister really need to be hit over the head with something blunt and heavy when it comes to cleaning up after themselves. They're like dirty pigs, I swear. I also totally agree with the shoe thing. I'm in no way Chinese related or anything but I've always hated people wearing shoes indoors since I was old enough to wear shoes. It's exceptionally annoying.

I'd really like to take part in this project but I have no means of recording anything right now. Not sure how long it'll be before I do but I'd like to contribute support and ideas where I can anyways. I mostly stick to what I know, and that's drums and basic (Very, VERY basic) Guitar. Drums preferably. I don't know what I sound like when I sing since I've only heard it from inside my head and never sang in front of anyone before and I guess I could try my hand at lyrics. I'll try to listen to the recorded stuff when I've got more time. That's all.

Personally, I don't get most things to do with any religions, but then again I don't really like to research into them. I've had enough religious drivel drummed into me in my School's compulsary Religious Studies lessons to last me a life time. Anyways, I agree with most here and think that willfully letting a loved-one die when there is opportunity to save them is as good as killing them yourself. I think donating blood and organs and what not is awesome and at least one of the few good things we, as a race, do for eachother. On a side-note, I love giving blood, it gives you such a high feeling afterwards! ^_^ Moving on, I had a JW in my first year of college with me and I regularly questioned him on various things to do with the relgion and its ideals. From what I gather, whatever put them in that state (whether it be disease, accident, whatever) is God's doing, and therefore God's will that they should die. So, interfearing with that is like directly defying God or something. Although, why it's only narrowed to transplants is beyond me. If we're gonna use this train of thought, I may as well just leave my only (hypothetical) daughter under that car while she suffers and bleeds to death because it's God's plan. Puh-lease! On a totally unrelated note, that whole 'God works in mysterious ways' thing really irritates me.

I can see why you had trouble, they're both very interesting ideas. You had me riveted all the way through the Graph of the Heart one, right up until the end where they went to another world, that just didn't sit right with me. Doesn't seem right that mapping the heart would lead to a magic circle that takes people into a different world, perhaps a revision there? The Meteo City one on the other hand had my attention from the get-go. Naturally, that's why I'll say that I'd rather sign-up for that than the first one, sounds more fun and appealing. I haven't really got any thoughts to add, plots to thicken or anything, I don't like giving my opinion unless the receiver specifically wants it. That way, I avoid looking like an idiot when I start spouting silly ideas, as is usually the case when you're involved. Good writing though, as ever.

My apologies for the severe delay in posting. My old computer has finally died a grim death. I probably won't be posting for a week or two until I get my new computer up and running with Broadband so, do what you feel like with my character or just leave him alone, I'm not picky. Sorry again.

Here I am to report on my contract since I'll probably get maimed myself if I don't. So, without further ado: Member: Tetra of Sound Time of Death: Approximately 7:32 Manner of Death: Multiple raping of the Ogre variety Mood at Death: Most pleased I would imagine, getting that much sex! I suggest that we get on with the assignments we've each got and add some mindless fun into them instead of this crazy bar stuff we're going through. Then we can forget the assignments and all go on one big quest, that way it'll be far more exciting and crazy. Might help if everyone RP-ing starting taking mind-altering drugs too.
