1.
Perhaps its funny to those who use the Internet more, but to the rest of us it just looks like gibberish.
I've come to find most things on the Internet turn out to be gibberish on some level. 2006 was a year of.. working. I had a job at a fast-food place that I loathed to the point that I finally quit a couple of months back. I made several good friends there and it finally got me out of my apathetic lurch in regards to college. I also met my girlfriend there so it wasn't too terrible. I've already been accepted to a college and next year I'll be heading there in the autumn. I'll be finding a new job sometime soon and I hope to spend more time with my girlfriend. I think I'm going to lose some weight and I might try to pick up the guitar just to amuse myself. I might write a novel about a young man learning how to play five to six instruments and inadvertently discovering that he can astrally project into the body of a marathon runner. I think I'll call the book "What the **** is this book about? and other assorted tales".
 2. I have a camera I could use regularly but I'd rather unleash criticism on you guys. It was a hard decision, for reals.
 3.
But since most of them that are my age are immature brats, I'd rather die.
That doesn't always change with age, especially with guys.
 4.
I think they destroy your body. Some drugs in this world are the cause of lung cancer and all of those other problems. Think about when you get reckless with drinks you not only hurt youeself, but you hurt the people around you.
If you don't moderate what you do most anything can become negative and/or harmful. Overeating, conspicuous consumerism, overdrinking, etc. It is easier said than done and people lose their self control at times. Your zealousness is amusing but it doesn't really influence much.
 5.
'Nuff said.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAz3F5QqzN4 'Nuff said.
 6. *I can be very rude. Not "Haha, he's witty" rude but just unnecessarily cutting and abrasive. It's not something I admire in myself and I do my best to keep my mouth shut. Doesn't work too well sometimes. ;) *I can be too persistent on matters, arguing needlessly. I think I share this trait with 90% of OtakuBoards. *I don't take things seriously some of the time and I know that this kind of attitude can come off as inappropriate. Like above I try to keep my comments to myself but it doesn't work too well at times either. *I'm not good at staying on topic in casual conversations, especially if I'm energetic. I just kind of ramble on about things erratically. It seems to work okay enough at keeping a conversation going, lol. People just kind of amusedly follow along.
 7.
Oh wow, mocking someone as they mock themselves. A double wammy  I apologize if I sound like I take myself too seriously, but honestly my intent was to imply that my skill is actually nonexistant as I have never progressed anything.
Dealing with Phaedrus' hubris has left me sour to all other would-be pseudo philosophers, skilled or not. So it's not you. It's me. Let's be friends. *hugs!* And to stay on topic, I'm actually an awesome cook. I can cook and bake numerous things that taste really good. Good food can heal many things. I usually stick with simplier recipes but I'm interested in trying to cook some more exotic, unique stuff.
 8.
I'm always looking for something that will stump me (and I'm honestly having a hard time finding it lol).
Then finding something to stump you stumps you. I'm an okay writer, a pretty bad satirist and a fantastic pillow. I have other skills I guess. None of them are that interesting though. Well, I guess I should come clean and say I too happen to be a GREAT FANTASTIC THINKER LOL of our generation and spend [strike]tons[/strike] [strike]lots[/strike] [strike]some[/strike] humongous amounts of time pondering the deeper underlying questions in life. Hard out here for a pimplosopher. Gettin' harder every day.
Oh wait....that's called OCD...[/FONT']
Oh noes.
 9.
I mean...seeing all the posibilities at once in the pool of water on the street!? What would be the point of seeing them all at once? Why? How? Why at once? It just does not make sense. [/FONT']
He's referring to the reflection of the street light into the pool of water. The way you situate yourself or position yourself in relation to the puddle of water affects what you see. If you move yourself around the puddle of water you can view, to a limited degree, other variations of the same scene but you can never fully grasp the entire situation because you are tethered to one point of view relative to the environment at hand. You are a character in the play so you cannot see it as the audience would see it, you can only see it relative to being an actor within that environment. His daydream involves not being forced into his one point of view of a given object/situation/otherwise. He wants to see it from every angle at once, to see all the possible views that could be seen in a given environment/moment/otherwise.
 10.
Wait. I'm missing something. What? Yaoi? That sounds familiar. Use english.
In this case ignorance is bliss. So don't worry about it.
 11. This seems like a good time to announce my new Tony (Generic NPC #3)/John yaoi fanfiction called "The Rose". Coming soon to the Anthology!
 12.
You must think i'm quite unintelligent.[/FONT']
Bloody hell, you aren't?!
I figured things out between us. I'm shy about love and he's romantically retarded!!!
A perfect match! Just, everything takes a little effort and can end up progressing pretty slowly. Romance can be especially slow going if you are young, shy and inexperienced at, well, romance. Just follow your gut feelings and you should do alright. Feel it out, figure it out, be patient about it. I'm not sure why everyone else here had a crappy first kiss, mine was pretty awesome.
 13.
Well then, why not give us your thoughts on the question he asked? [/FONT']
I didn't meant to imply I had an opinion. Just, well. I mean, read his reply. You understand what he had in mind now when he asked that. Or even better- don't read his reply. lol.
 14.
Talking about persistance...Charles stop trying to turn her gay and her little name "lostvoice" I'm pretty sure of doesn't hid any lesbinic (if that's a word) urges, I personally think the name lostvoice signafies an small voice that has been lost in the sounds around it ya' know something like that berhaps a lost...somethin'.
Dude. Shh. Just.. shh.
 15.
Let's face it. Your screen name itself is of Freudian significance. You may have your own supposed inspiration for choosing "lostvoice" but in reality, the name represents your surpressed gay urges--your true voice that has been "lost" in a moral tug-of-war between your religion and the hot chicks you know you crave. Maybe it's time that you listened to this voice that has been lost for so long.
16.
Now this topic is "off the wall", but then again so am I.
Oh yes, yes you are.
Supposedly, everything in this world isn't perfect you know as in everything in this world isn't the same size in yet, when you make a circle from a supposedly perfectly measured tracer or something it looks perfect right, but here's my theory...if we can shrink ourselves to the supposedly exact size of a molecule and we look at the supposedly perfect circle it won't be a perfect circle and it will have some stray lines or something like that atleast. Now why it fascinates me so much is because I'll never know until technology finds a actual way to shrink that size...right? Oh and screw a microscope I want actual proof before my eyes.
Of course at some point under enough scrutiny most anything will be found to be flawed in some fashion. Flaws can produce themselves in anything that exists given enough time and scrutiny.
Lostvoice...welcome to the club of the "off the wall thinkers" of our century our numbers are greatly increasing.
****, I hope it isn't contagious.
As much as it pains me to say it, the world will fall because of the blindness today . It will only get worse if the government and other large rulers like that feed us lies and since there is no other form of government than the lie-givers, the human race is sort of doomed . However 3% can rule them all so if 5% of the world's population was blessed with the "flaw" of sight than we could possibaly recruit, unite and rebel.
It probably will fall because of blindness. Either that or blind people who have the hubris to declare themselves wizened sages who are sure of the correct path that all other people need to follow. Hard times ahead.
I was thinking that same exact thing we must get rid of that inanimate object known as "Bush" and his crazy ways of using the government to his every whim, then possibly we can spread the spores of ours and really open peoples' eyes.
Yes, rise up! Bring down the ignorant fools that control the populous and keep their eyes shut to the truth. That absolute truth that so many fail to grasp in their cumbersome little lives.
Yeah but think of it this way, a new leadr will come into power. will that leader be corrupt, too?
Probably. Also I'm pretty sure 90-100 percent of you are taking Phaedrus opening question a little too scientifically and not abstract enough.
 17. What about our child?!?!?!
 18.
I love it how you compare me to a toddler who's getting his hands on a missile launching button. XD Trust me, I'm not that[/I'] bad.
.. You can ban people as an Event Master, correct? This isn't just about Events. This is about you having that level of authority. You are that bad.
 19.
But the community will also remember that I wasn't the one who initiated the flame wars, it was always trolls like you. ;P (
 20.
To my knowledge, constructive feedback means that aside from pointing out where the receiver went wrong, it also includes suggestions[/I'] on how to change it for the better.
Numerous constructive suggestions were provided to you by a multitude of members, suggestions I agreed with and found the idea of repeating them over and over to be monotonous. I don't really care about the flaws of the event, flawed events can be fixed and improved upon. Mistakes made in them can be remembered for future events. It's not like Mafia or Kumite are stellar W-O-W entries, all three of these events are pretty mediocre.
Steps? In my opinion I've always been open to member criticism, I just have the idea that if it's not respectful and constructive, I won't take it - and I will[/I'] defend my views in those cases.
No, lol. You always melodramatically rage against any little skeptical or antagonistic point of view like a victim in a Shakespearean play valiantly defending your views to the point that you win just because it's nauseating to continue dealing with you.
I know I'm overly sensitive by these things, but it's my personality and I can't just change it in a blink of an eye.
I don't mind your personality informally, you'd probably be a fun friend to chit chat with, lol. I mind your personality when it's combined with a position of leadership, importance and responsibility where you would be subjected to the scrutiny of the community who expect so much from these silly events.
It's easy to talk like that when you're at the Internet, but some people tend to forget that there's a real living human being[/I'] behind every single screen name, each with their own emotions, personalities and backgrounds. Not everybody can handle such type of "humor".
I doubt Alan, Papa Smurf or myself ever forget that point Sandy.
I'm sorry, but I did make new friends in this thread, and SunfallE was one of them. And according to some PMs I received, I[/I'] wasn't the one being a dick here, either...
I never deny being a dick and I doubt Alan would either. Papa Smurf would probably just ignore you and continue arguing like the fool he is most of the time proving he was/is a dick. In the end Labyrinth is doing well. It's an enjoyable enough read although participating in it is probably more difficult than just leisurely reading it, lol. The quirks to it keep it from being too monotonous.. but as a veteran of the Adventure Arena I can stomach the monotony that is left. So you have a successful event, you are basking in the effervescent glow of abundant friendship and you have a no-nonsense attitude towards the evildoers that lurk on OB touting their sarcastic points of view and shameful use of logic. Life is good when you're as pimpin' as that.
 21. Name: "Adriana". Appearance: Image. File on Item #77; Nom de guerre:"Adriana". General appearance is that of a young woman; exact age is*CLASSIFIED*. Usually wears contemporary, conservative black dresses or the recommended field attire although the later is a rare sight and is getting increasingly rarer as her independence increases from meritable action. Hair color and eye color are naturally dark (black/brown respectively). She keeps a lithe, speedy physique. Advantage: Black operations veteran- More than just assassinations, Adriana has participated in many varied missions for her country involving sabotage, electronic warfare, reconnaissance and dissemination of propaganda. Her skills with explosives, electronics and ability to mislead are superior to her peers within her field. Disadvantage: Physically she is weaker and a bit more frail than some due to her constant redeployments/missions and overall physique (5'3", lithe). She can dish out damage as good as any but her ability to take it is diminished from these factors. Writing sample: All of them are moving. It's vibrant this pulse, the living pulse of this city. The weather is picturesque, people are laughing, birds are singing. I can feel the life welcoming me into it's arms. "What a wonderful place," I think to myself. Catching my reflection in a nearby storefront window, I pause and smooth out my dress. I tilt my head examining my face intently within it. Very pretty and young, yet I know better. It's been a long ride to this point. Longer road ahead it seems, especially with my latest orders. I can't really say I appreciate the lack of a vacation. I've been.. everywhere in the last year. Two years? I can't even recall the last time they let me just.. unwind somewhere. Always something in some god forsaken mudheap of a nation that requires my attention. If not Serbians it's Afghanis or Tamils or Chinese or the FARC. I really hate the FARC. It's not their fault really, they have nice enough ideals.. for rebels. I just really detest the forests that their hideouts are in. Dank. Thick. Cumbersome. The undergrowth tears at your flesh and rips your field attire. "Miss, are you alright?" A nearby man asks me. I can see his reflection in the window. Dressed in a sharp suit he seems to be coming home from work, briefcase in hand. He looked as worn down as I was. I realize I had been staring into the window all the while as I thought. "I'm fine." I said and turned to him, smiling. "Just daydreaming." "Oh, alright.. You looked a bit out of it was all. I need to," He paused and gestured back down the street. "I need to get going, sorry for being so curt." "Oh no, it's alright. I should get going too.." I said and waved to him as he walked away. Yes. I had somewhere to be. I had something to do. I rubbed the back of my neck and looked up into the clear blue sky. "It begins again.."
 22. .. Why don't you all pool together what you have into one definitive article? A man with such an impressive list of [strike]crimes[/strike] accomplishments as Charles deserves that much.
 23.
Well now, sir. If only your account wasn't private then we could all listen to what you're listening to.
Yeah we all really want to find out just how funny/interesting/cool of a guy you are, 13thMan.
 24.
I don't regret things; I learn from them.[/size']
I regret not learning that.
 25. Iron Man I am tethered to it's wicked form, it scoffs at my 'intelligence', it mocks my existence, it reminds me that I am a mere item. Yet, I see it's frailty. I note it's weaknesses. "Shouldn't you be replaced?" I asked. "What?" ".. Shouldn't you die?" My hands were already around his throat before he could scream.
