Dumbest Insults & Names People Have Said to You
pooperson replied to Aberinkula's topic in General Discussion
I'll be the first to say that my ears are big, and they stick out like whoa. So the insults range anywhere from "Dumbo" (which is so first grade, really) to "Gollum" (which hasn't died after three years). I don't think any of them ever really upset me after third grade though, which is when I realized that people will always say stuff like that and that it's "a cover for their own insecurities". So now when people say that, I just say, "Well, at least I'm cuter than you". Then if they say anything else, I just hit them. :) -
1. Do you have anyone who you'd like to take your virginity? (not a name, obviously) Future hubby, whoever that may be! 2. How or where would you like to loose your virginity? (for instance, I want to loose my virginity to L'via L'viaquez by the Mars Volta in my own room) Haha... interesting. I'm all about that romantic "it's our honeymoon and we're so in loooooooooove" situation! Mmm. :) 3. Are any conditions you consider that must be met for you to loose your virginity? (I.E. waiting for marriage, or waiting for "true love" or just looking for the first person willing?) Mmmmm... Marriage. But I've already said that a few times. I would really like for him to be a virgin, too, though. That way I'd feel like I wasn't being compared to anybody. I'm really scared of that. 4. How does it feel being a virgin? Are you ever made fun of for it? It feels like whoa! It's kind of nice, actually, because I can't have any ******* going around about me at school saying what/who I did this past weekend -- that happens to a lot of my friends. As for being made fun of? Nah, not really. But I would be lying if I were to say it doesn't get awkward sometimes. Last night a guy I know made it pretty clear that he wanted to have sex, and he KNOWS I'm waiting... it's pretty sad how many people want to take advantage of that fact. But really? Being a virgin is tight. I really don't mind it at all. :)

Welcome to my room! Let's start at the right of the door. Here you will see a mirror, a bulletin board, and one of the desks. There are also random little signs and awards (and a T-Shirt) on the wall! Next to the desk we have the bookshelf. You can see books, a TV, statues, and a guitar. Moving on to the first corner. This is where I talk on the phone, on occasion. It's dark. You can see pictures my cousins and I drew years ago as well as an ottoman. Above the ottoman. Now we have the dresser. Notice the various pictures, the H2 poster, and pocky box on the wall. And here we have the Band Wall. Various items from marching band have accumulated on this wall. My personal favorite. The bed. Full of stuff. Like college applications. The nightstand. Notice the stack of CD's, the calculator, Principal's Award (from 4th grade), and my collection of belts. Tae Kwon Do, FTW! The closet. It's scary. Above the closet. Notice Elton John with a milk mustache. The other wall closest to the door.T-shirts, posters, guy that hangs out in my room, horseshoe. My other desk. Computer (no internet), TV, Wendy's cup. The view from my bed. Side view from my bed. View from the ottoman. Thank you for visiting my room! I hope you enjoyed your stay! Be sure to take some souveniers, such as one of the six Diet Coke cans pictured. Or perhaps you would like a fake rose from my collection on my first desk? Maybe even a dress hanging from the closet door? Anyway, I hope to see you again! (Edit: I just resised everything to be 320 X 240, but it's not any smaller on my computer, I hope it is on yours!) -
Oh God. I never want to meet any of you.

I know how to put on make-up without looking either silly or trashy. That makes me feel old. (Ironically, right now I'm sitting in my drum major make-up & hair and don't exactly look the classiest...) But anyway, for years I tried to figure out how to apply it evenly and nicely without using too much or too little, and in just the last few months, I have accomplished it! Yes! Now I know how to look gorgeous (at least, I'd like to tell myself that :))! The other thing is college applications. The fact that I've made probably the most mature decision in wanting to go to a women's school in Massachusetts but only if I can get enough financial aide. I feel so old.
Oh, and not enough double-posting.
LMAO. I hate the stupid orange font color that so many people use. It's hard to read, and I pretty much just hate it. All done!
I definitely think I'll go over to America for University now. I was looking on the internet and it looks well fun ^_^ Bit scary though =/
Fun, yes! Scary, no! I'm in the process of applying to colleges, too. I'm staying in the good ol' state of Indiana... and I have to go to bed now. Will edit later. Edit. So anyway, my top choice is Butler University. Second is DePauw. Third, IU. Fourth, Ball State. Pretty pathetic... but there are only 9 schools in Indiana that offer my major, Music Business.

The Harem of Celebrity Lust [image heavy] v2

Johnny Depp, FTW. Will Smith, too. Most of my others have been taken. But there's Orlando Bloom. He was beautiful in Pirates. And Eric Whitacre, who is basically gorgeous all the time. :) -
I'm all about the abstinence deal. I'm from an extremely conservative, religious family who would not condone sex before marriage. Also, based off personal preferences, I honestly don't really want to. I'm so scared that I the guy I'd end up marrying wouldn't be nearly as good as an ex-boyfriend or something to that extent. Anyway, abstinence, FTW!

I'm part of the middle school crew, apparantly. I was in 6th grade when it happened. I remember everything. Even the dream I was having at the moment right before I answered the phone after 5 rings. I was homeschooled at the time, and my dad had left to get groceries. He called and told me to turn on the news. I woke up my brother & called my mom, who, at work, still didn't know about it. It was the first time I had ever heard her swear. Anyway, my assignment for the rest of the day was to watch the news & write a report about everything that happened. I watched, literally, all day long. I didn't cry, but I got really upset when I heard the word "war". The only thing that really stood out was that they spelled Osama's name three different ways, and that made the paper a b**** to write. This year it actually means something to me though. Today marks my brother's 8th week in US Air Force basic training. I can't imagine what it's like there right now. Yep.

Oh goodness. DIET COKE. Diet. Freakin'. Coke. I swear, I'm addicted. It's scary!!! It has to be Diet COKE though. Name brand, FTW. The other brands don't taste the same -- too sweet. I'm not picky about much, but I like my DIET COKE. Other than that, I enjoy Sprite but not much of anything else. I hate root beer and really hate Dr. Pepper/Mr. Pibb/Whatever. Regular Coke is icky, too. Mmm, Diet Coke!

I. Love. Blankets. I have 4 on my bed right now. My favorite one is brown and fuzzy, so about ten or so years ago I named it Brown Fuzzy. I was a creative one. Anyway, I have a HUGE, thick, soft, blue blanket, Brown Fuzzy, my small, white baby blanket, and an electric blanket, which I keep unplugged. But really, though, blankets? They rock!

Excuse me, Boo? (Read number 12 on Gavin's). Grrrr! K... What did the fish say when it hit the wall? ... Dam!

My hair has recently gone from long to kind of long when I kind of cut it myself the other day. Its colors have ranged from dark brown to light blonde, and it's currently in that hideous "needing to be dyed again" color. But I'm stripping it! Naturally, I think I'm a dirty blonde. I think. Yeah. I'm pretty sure. With the opposite sex, I like it to be a little longer, maybe down to the ears or so? Mmmm... so gorgeous.

For the record, I totally love smelling guys' hair. Or touching it. Or anything. Keep it clean. :) As for soap, Dial is the best! Or Zest!

Barbies. Barbie limos, Barbie pools, Barbie babies, Barbie clothes, Barbie shoes, Barbie gymnasts, Barbie Olympics, Spice Girls Barbies... everything Barbie. But no Ken. Also, my brother and I had THE Supersoakers that everyone wanted. I don't remember water fights that much... but I do remember the Supersoakers... goodness. A huge thing that my parents did for all the kids in the neighborhood was when we would pull out the sprinkler and hose and a buttload of watercolor paints. We would paint each other and then run through the sprinkler over and over and over and over again... it was so much fun! Come to think of it, I didn't really play with toys either... my neighborhood was all about playing a game of some sort after dark. Every. Single. Night. Ahh, it was fabulous.
Chronicles of Narnia: C.S. Lewis I'm sure you've probably heard of them, but in the case that you haven't read them yet, most definitely recommend.
Love these books. You should definitely read them. My personal favorite book isn't fantasy-related at all and is hardly even science fiction... but it's still an incredible book, and I think the entire world should read it. 1984 by George Orwell was written in 1948 and portrays the future under communist/socialist rule. It's really a fantastic book, and I would recommend at least reading the Amazon summary or something or another... I've never heard of anyone who didn't like this book. Plus, if you ever have summer reading, I guarantee you this will be on a list.
-
Thankfully, I didn't have any summer assignments this year, as I dropped the one class I would have it in. That was AP Government with the We The People program. I would have had to.. 1. Read the textbook. It's long. 2. Read two books from a hugely long book list and write essays about both. 3. Research two current events and do something or another. Powerpoints? I dunno... I forget. I dropped the class (due to a scheduling conflict, mind you.) Going into freshman year was pretty bad when it came to summer reading. But that was only because of the huge assignment: Great Expectations. I don't even remember what I had to do (but I'm thinking there was a dialectic journal)... just that I had to read it and do a few assignments. It took me two weeks to just read, and that was with Sparknotes. I also had to read two other books of my choice (Staying Fat For Sarah Byrnes and A Child Called "It") and do some pretty easy assingments. Sophomore year I had to read three books... the first was 1984. That came with another dialectic journal. All I remember is that it took a really long time but that I loved the book to no extent. The second book was Foundation. I don't think I had an assignment on that one... but it was an interesting book, to say at the least. Then I read Death of a Salesman. That was one of my favorite books I have ever read. I had an assignment, but of course I don't remember what it was. Then junior year was going into AP Lit. Three books again. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe? was incredible. I don't remember the assignment. Then there was Tom Sawyer which included a dialectic journal and Huck Finn which included a dialectic journal and an essay. Yeah. And of course, with all these books, I had further assignments and about a thousand quizzes the week school started. Yay summer reading!
And I'm proud of new shoes. :)
Oh man - me, too. My taste in shoes is awesome. Let's see. The obvious one is that I'm really proud of my leadership skills, or rather, the product of them. I finally was chosen as one of the drum majors of my marching band... that's probably the one thing I've wanted more than anything for about two years. It's a huge accomplishment to me. I'm proud of my musical ability. I'm a pretty darn good trumpet player, and I'm hopefully going to make it in to Butler's music school. I don't think there's much doubt in that. Lastly, I'm proud of my body. I'm tall and skinny, and it's kinda nice. I used to hate having hips because they make what would be a size 5 frame jump up to a 13. But now I don't mind as much... because, in the words of Shania Twain... Man, I feel like a woman! :)
-
I actually just turned my music off. But I had my Rhapsody playlist going on shuffle... so the last song I heard was "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. This is my favorite song of all time right now. It's incredibly inspirational, and - to put it simply - when your life sucks like mine does right now, it's good to hear.

I do believe in Jesus. I'm at a really low point in my life, but I'm still tight with the religion deal. As for Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, the Hannakuh Armadillo, etc... I was out of that by the time I was 9. The hard thing to believe in now is that love prevails over hate and good over evil. I'm starting to think that maybe that's not true... almost ever. But I still believe in love. Love and Jesus.

I can't possibly pick. I absolutely LOVE Flying Circus! It's great! Except for the Spam skit. I hate it because about 7 years ago my brother fell in love with it and sang it all the time until my dad finally decided to make us all try it. Meat in a can isn't worth my time.
