1.
Yikes, that first half was stagnant again. I thought I was reading Naruto for a bit. Luckily they made up for it with another Fei Wong Reed Kick the Dog Moment, which involved Fye becoming unexpectedly awesome in a way we're not used to him being awesome at.
Heh, that was my thoughts exactly. I was thinking... don't do the stagnant bit and then Fai stepped in and that was, as you put it, awesome. I'm not surprised that Fei Wong is too much of a coward to face them directly though. Oh and I did find it amusing that Kurogane was skipping announcing what his moves were. It was almost like he was saying to Fai, you should be able to recognize it without me saying what it is dummy. lol
 2. I finally got into Tales of the Abyss. I love how beautiful the animation is and how true to the characters they've been for it. It's such a stark difference from the anime for Tales of Symphonia where they crammed so much into just four episodes. So to see them really doing justice with Tales of the Abyss is fantastic. The other, though amusing, you really needed to have played the game but this, it's not necessary. It's fleshed out enough that you can really enjoy it without having played the game.
 3. I'm listening to stuff by Tchaikovsky since the music to the Nutcracker is so pretty. One of my favorite pieces is the Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy I'm not even a big fan of ballet but I'll go and see this just because the music is so beautiful.
 4. That is awesome Indi... and this... is just wtf? o_O
 5.
Now I just got past the part where the next section
falls after the mines did.
I'm curious about one thing and that is, am I the only one who thought the animation for the
war breaking out was awful? It was a mix of 3-D with the ships and crummy animation of the fighting.
I don't know about all of you, but I would have rather had no cut scene than that disaster. It was awful. I hope that's the only one like that. Can anyone enlighten me on that aspect?
I agree, I found that an eyesore as well. But since I started over (because I forgot what I was supposed to be doing) and I never got very far past that point, I couldn't say if that was a one time deal or not. I certainly hope not... I remember watching that and going... wtf?
 6. I think this says it all. >_>
 7. I don't have any plans yet, I'm just trying to get through the rest of school and finals. Once that's over, I know I'm going to be sleeping, playing games, spending time with family and friends and so on. I'll probably have a better idea once it gets close to the actual week and people know for sure what they will be doing this year. Either way... I'll be glad for the break. I've been so busy lately. ^^
 8. I've never had any big fears, just things that I find mildly frightening, like spiders, heights, etc. But those aren't enough to really bother me. About the only exception is from back when I was in a car accident about three years ago. I came really close to having something happen to my hands. Now, I'm kind of leery of that since the very idea of having something happen to my hands just creeps me out.
 9. I swear... school is going to do me in... Seriously. I've been trying to find the time to post for a while now. I was so burned out that during the holiday, I never got around to it. XP I do have a post half written up so I'll try to make sure I get it up soon. After all, I do want to see the rest of what happens with Jared. Creepy as it is. >_>
 10. Though I think it's courageous to do it, I can't and won't agree with giving one to someone who is already in a relationship. I can't help but find that extremely selfish on your part DW. I've read this several times and all I can think is that I hope nothing bad comes from it. :( Sorry, but that is my take on it. Anyway... Like James just said, in general I do think love letters can be a wonderful thing, but at the same time kind of scary if you don't really know the person or haven't realized they like you. And it's just as hard to give one to someone as well.
 11. o_O Well, that was not what I was expecting. I mean, sure I expected the name of the new villain to come up but that bit with Isen and Victor I did not. I shouldn't be surprised that Victor is sticking his nose into the affair. I am, but I shouldn't be, he does keep tabs on everything after all. Nor did I expect anything with Karl either... Damn... that next post of yours Indi is going to be... ouch.
 12. I think we all have those weeks where everything seems to go wrong. I haven't had one recently, but I have in the past. o_O Sounds like you just need to take some time off, even if it's only an evening, to relax and chill out.
 13.
Right here. I'm changing the thread's title so the Mods don't screw me over!:p EDIT: Crap! I can't change the title! I'll go ask for help, just hold on...
Like I said in the pm... just start a new thread. =P Anyway, I did see that video for the parade. That was priceless. Made me wish I had actually bothered to watch the broadcast of the event.
 14.
Oh and now according to a report on my local news union reps are saying that WalMart was negligent and that this could have been prevented
What, by building stronger doors? These morons literally smashed the doors down. The whole thing was just painfully stupid, especially how they just shopped anyway. That is the sickest part of all... They trampled the person to death and didn't care. Anyway, personally I just tend to avoid Black Friday... >_> Though like Beth said we did brave the traffic for the Christmas concert last year... It was Mannheim Steamroller... well worth it. ^^ This year, I did not go out and brave the madness. I did check out some of the sales Amazon had though. I got some music but that was the extent of my shopping.
 15. I just found out from one of my friends what they did in last weeks episode... Apparently
when Kahlan's mother died, her hold on their father was gone and he used her and her younger sisters powers to cheat others.
Seriously... what the hell? And that's not all...
She was later saved and raised by the sisters of the light until the Confessors found her and her sister.... headdesk.
That so did NOT happen at all. It's a just a freakin train wreck though most of you know this already. But still, a
Confessor's power changes a person for good. They don't just revert to normal when the Confessor dies.
Hearing that makes me glad I gave up on it as well. That was just stupider than hell. And that doesn't even include the bit on how Lord Rahl was apparently
after some kid who could read your thoughts by looking into your eyes. If said boy had even been in the book... Rahl would have never paid for such an apparently gifted kid, he would have simply taken him.
16. I only know how to do simple stuff so I'm assuming that's acceptable. I did have this as a banner before, but I made a new one so it's not the same. Anyway my hobby as it were, is obviously music.
 17.
Alot of the people I've talked to have been here for years. I was wondering, how much do you think you've matured since your first time at OB? Are you happy with how much you've changed since then and what improvements do you think you have made?
I'm actually coming up on being here two years next month. o_O I don't really feel like I've changed a whole lot since I joined. I do feel like things happened that I never expected though. Lots of what the hell inducing moments, that's for sure. And I'm pretty sure that Des is responsible for nearly all of them too. lol I guess if I'm still around in a few more years, maybe I'll be able to see a change by then. But right now... I don't see a huge difference. ^^
 18. This is so true at times. lol And here I figured he'd run from the pink. =P
 19. I love checking out stuff like this at the end of the day. Heh. Laughing like mad is the best way to wrap one's day up. =P
 20. Since it's that time of year again... I've whipped out the Christmas stuff by Mannheim Steamroller. Right now it's playing Hallelujah I'm just sorry that their tour doesn't include SLC this year. Going to their concert last year was just amazing.
 21.
Despite Luke killing my experience and I'm a graphic whore, I still had a blast. Once I beat the game, though, I have no intentions of playing it again. Putting up with Luke again is torture on my soul lol. (Sucks because you can't skip the scenes either.)
Oddly, as annoying as Luke can be, I don't have too much trouble putting up with him. Not sure why but since I hadn't played this in a while I started over and since I knew why he was so annoying... it made putting up with him easier this time around. I can understand though, as much as I like Star Ocean: Till the End of Time... I have to wonder if I'd replay it on the harder levels if I didn't have the option to skip the major cut scenes. Some of them, once was more than enough. Anyway, back to playing it since I'm determined to actually finish it this time around. >_>
 22.
It's really hard to stay updated when the books come out several months apart... I'm going to have to go out and get number 19.
If you're going by books we're way beyond nineteen. Try twenty-six. Though I understand only up to nineteen is out in print here in the US. And since the next part isn't something I can post... I sent you a pm in regards to that. =P
 23.
...as you can imagine very few of Earth's politicians were chosen to be saved.
Best part of the whole idea. =P Though I'm sure by then they have new politicians. Pity. Anyway, other than to say it looks interesting, I don't have any suggestions to add to what you've posted. I am curious to see more once you have it ready to post.
 24. I'm kind of interested in this and kind of not. I've watched so much Star Trek over the years that I'm pretty burned out on it. I'll probably see it when it comes out so I hope they do a good job with it, inconsistencies aside.
 25. Older Christmas music, like the music from the Nutcracker or the Messiah. Russian Christmas music in that category fits as well. I also like stuff by Mannheim Steamroller, mainly their performances of older music: We Three Kings of Orient Are: The American carol written John Hopkins Jr. in 1857, retelling the legend as it's known. Bring a Tourch, Jeannette, Isabella: A beautiful old 17th century French carol. The Coventry Carol: Originally from the mid 1400's but I understand that they did later version of it from 1591. Wassail: An ancient English carol done in the renaissance style.Carol of the Birds: I believe this one is an ancient old French melody about a flock of birds that flew to the manger to bring gifts, again done in the renaissance style. I saw Three Ships: An English carol of 15th century origin I believe and also done in the renaissance style. God Rest You, Merry Gentlemen: I believe this one dates to the 15th century and the different wording is because the Old English word for "merry" did not mean gay and lively, but rather merely pleasant or agreeable. Most modern jingles as it were don't really appeal. The trend of popular bands singing Christmas songs is something I don't like at all. I'd rather do without Christmas music altogether than listen to that stuff.
