It's Independence Day... In America!

I watched my drunk cousin play Grand Theft Auto IV and laughed my *** off at how ridiculous it is. Also I watched Arrested Development all day, which, btw, is probably the greatest television series... in America! -
Little boy who didn't have any money, so was unable to screw the rules. What's cuter than that?
Yugioh: The Abridged Series ftw

I have learned that some people really enjoy have sex with dolphins, and oh-so-kindly posted a video of themselves doing it.

For girls, the only thing cuter is two little boys who fought to give each other flowers. ;_; If only it stayed that way.

In your hypothetical world, how smart are we talking about here? There are smart people, and then are geniuses. If you're a genius, does that mean you're insanely hideous? If you're just barely "smart", are you barely "ugly"?

I guess I am, when I can be. The first time I rode a jet ski, I went up to 85 mph but was forced to slow down because my friend was freaking out too much. I mostly just like the rush of air you feel when you're doing something like that, which is also why when I ski/snowboard I'll keep all my boards flat and just go rushing down a hill when ther aren't people to crash into. It can be scary, especially when I'm snowboarding, and once I stopped myself too quickly and I fell directly on my chest... it hurt like a mofo. lol Also, I looove roller coasters. :) And sometimes on the highway when it's late I'll go up to 90-100 mph, which is just great.
So, the whole point of this thread is for me to ask you all what the real world is like. The world after high school: jobs, starting families, etc. Is it really as horrible as the people I know say it is?
After my high school graduation, my friend sent me this Facebook bumper sticker that said "Congratulations on the getting through the easiest part of life!". Lol. And when you think about it, it's pretty true. Not that I've been in the "real world", but I think I got a taste of it when I got college decisions back. Sometimes you don't reap what you sow, life is unfair, deal with it, etc. etc. For now I'm just glad I'm going to college for another 4 years of protection and living in a bubble. I'm sad to see all of my friends start new lives across the nation, but at the same time I'm excited to reinvent myself and start fresh, so to say. I'm not really gung-ho about getting a job and working year-round, but hopefully I'll find a job I enjoy.

I always enjoyed drawing when I was little, but I started drawing anime when this guy I knew in middle school drew some stuff in front of me and I became....incredibly jealous. lol. Jealousy fueled my desire to draw. But now it's more about relaxation than anything else.

Probably an example of how I lack patience, the anime series that have grabbed me from the start are the only ones I really, really like: Fullmetal Alchemist, Tegen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Mononoke, and Diebuster. Evangelion would be on the list, but it's not really a series I love anymore. But it has a special place in my heart, I guess. :3 And I don't know if I should be ashamed for this, but Soul Eater has grabbed my attention pretty quickly. I was sucked in pretty quickly and I've been waiting for each new subbed episode to come out.

Now without further ado, please enjoy your crappy anime image battle.
Don't forget my sweet ***.
Style? You wanna know style!?! My 2 cents: If you're really in drawing, and want to do something with it, explore everything. Just focusing on anime will end up trapping you when you want to grow as an artist, and I think it's better to focus on what you learn in art classes first. If you're doing it for a hobby, the only answer is practice! I enjoy drawing, but I'm not going to kid myself- I'm very limited. I sketch as a hobby, but what I sketch is usually anime-style girls. I don't really strive to take it further, although at times I wish I could. :3
I had to read this for AP Lang last summer, and it was my favorite book out of the whole set (which may not be saying much, because I also had to read a Thoreau essay, On Writing by Stephen King, Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, and this piece of crap A Lesson Before Dying by I don't even know who. Ugh)
Brings back memories. I sort of miss summer reading, but at the same time I was never assigned anything bad. Except maybe Heart of Darkness. :twitch: I just finished The Good Earth. I guess I was just expecting more, but it was a good read. But I wasn't struck by it or anything, other than how
much of an ass Wang Lung was to his wife. -__-
I bought A Clockwork Orange about 4 years ago and I still haven't touched it, so I guess that's the next one for me to read.
