1. Ikturu- "Approach us? No... It seems there are a few chosen among the humans. They are not all gone as we had thought... I had just encountered one. A female... She, she absorbed my magic... She almost took off my wing..." I spread my singed wing and showed him the burned part. "Holy magic, sir..." Kenratu frowned and slipped into deep thought. My mind turned to other matters. Chosen... They had dissapeared over a millenia ago. They must have passed on their magics into their young. The woman... I simply wanted to rip her skin from her body. The warm flow of blood... I shook my head, clearing it and looked at Kenratu. Ikturu- "What do we do?"
2. OOC: Sorry Ken. I was quite busy. --------------- I stepped out of the Gate, the last to emerge out of the 850. I took one breath and grimaced. How I hated this place. It was so lush, and green... It should be black and dead. I glanced at Kenratu and took to the air. I hated large groups. He said something to the other that was near him, but I couldn?t hear. Not that it mattered. We knew each other. We knew how the other worked. I worked best by myself. The fires... The cleansing fires of our world burned throughout the decimated countryside. They destroy so we can create. I flew as fast as I could, not wanting to be near any of our kind when my stamina gave out. I was still young, not able to fly indefinitely. I pumped the muscles to their limit, feeling the lovely burning sensation of overextending tissue. A vehicle. The glint of chrome touched my eyes. A perfect test to hone my skills in this doomed world. I flew down, arching my powerful body toward the vehicle. The people in the vehicle caught sight of me. A look of confusion spread over their faces. I crashed through the window and growled in pure rage. ??- "Ikrantu..." the female whispered. She jumped out of the car. I pulled my head from the shattered remains of the glass and set my eyes on the running human. I smiled and walked after her, not bothering to run. In her fear she wasn't running but more hobbling. I gained on her. She ran into a building that was tall. It was at least three stories. The door closed with a slam. Ikturu- ?Stupid human.? I walked up to the door and sliced it apart. The shards clattered to the ground. The doorknob made a dull ding as it hit the dirt. I heard a yelp and another door close farther up a stone staircase. I grinned again and started to ascend the stairs. I could smell the fear radiating off her like a large bonfire. This door? No.... The next... The top. I sprinted all the way up the stairs and crashed through the door. ?Time to die young one.? I couldn?t see the human, but I could smell her. She reeked of fear. Normally I would have heard her, but I saw her first instead. She was coming at me with a makeshift spear. It looked like a piece of iron pipe broken off. Ikturu- ?Silly...? I touched the tattoo on my forehead and activated the small amount of magic that resided in my evil soul. Everything slowed down. Birds were made so that they hung flapping in the air. Smoke that billowed in the distance slowed. Licks of flame separated from their mothers and dissipated. The human seemed to stop completely. I walked up to her and grabbed the weapon. Her wrist made a hallow snapping sound in the slowed world. I pushed her down. As soon as she hit the concrete floor of the roof her body slowed back down. A spurt of blood flew from a large cut on her face. She grimaced. I stopped my magic. The human stopped, shocked. She looked down at her broken wrist and probed the cut on her head. She looked up at me. Ikturu- ?Time to die.? I grabbed my small weapon and held it against her throat. ?You will be my first.? I made a swift swiping motion and stood up. I wiped the blade off on my shirt. It wasn?t wet. I looked questioningly at my clean shirt and then at the girl. She was standing and glaring at me. ?Wha...? She was glowing with a white aura. I held a hand up to my eyes and brandished my blade again. ?Mage,? I said with utter disgust. I jumped up and took to the air. I triggered my magic again and flew at her. A white ball of light flew at me grazing my left wing. It burned and scorched. She had the same ability as me. She must have absorbed it... Ikturu- ?Hear me Mage! Your kind will die! The Shade will triumph!? I flew away, ready to relay the information of another very powerful Mage. Perhaps our leader could do something.
3. Been waiting for another one of these for quite a while. :) ------------------------------------------- Name: Ikturu (Ick-Too-Ru) Race: Shade Age: 759 Weapon: Normal Shade equipment plus a small curved dagger. Supernatural Power: Bloodrush- Quickens the pulse of the body and speeds up reaction time. The world seems to slow down, even though you just get faster. Bio: Trained from birth to be a general, Ikturu is as ruthless as he is evil. When Ikturu was born he was bathed in human blood. Slowly, he was taught to despise the humans and to learn the most efficiant ways to kill them. One small organ seemed to hold the key to destruction for the animals. Destroy that and they fall. He was trained until he was 100 and then he broke off to train on his own. He toned his sleek, black body into an instrument of destruction. He lengthened his claws to seven inches in length through pure will. His wings are capable of short term flight, but nothing over ten minutes. Turning down the offer of an army, Ikturu prefered to go up on his own. It's how he works best. Description: 6' 8" in height. Blazing orange eyes and bright blue hair. Ikturu wears a loose fitting black denim pair of pants with a black tanktop. His skin is blacker than either article of clothing giving his presence a very evil look. His wings are streaked with very dark grey.
4. Name: Ryan Age: Un-Determinable, well over 2000 Race: Time Streamer Weapons: Lonae Suno (The Dagger of The Streamers) The dagger is imbued with time magic. It can either speed up or slow down time, to a certain extent. It is not incredibly powerful for long periods of time but for short periods of time alteration it works well. A simple wooden staff. Bio: Ryan is a Time Streamer. His eternal role in the world was to aid time so that it progressed smoothly and normally. When the fountain was discovered a tremor rocked the time lime. It broke apart. Ryans people banished him to a lifetime of attempting to right the problem. They stripped him of his immortality and bound him to the material plane. During the early stages of his banishment things were looking good. Demon attacks were only beginning, the people had seemed to stop trying to investigate the fountain, and it looked as if the timeline would be repaired. Nope. The shattered remenants of the once linear line just drifted farther and farther apart. And every year Ryan's turmoil deepened. His people sometimes sent him hint on what to do, but Ryan knew that they were only doing just enough to keep him going. Many times he had attempted to commit suicide but they had always stopepd him. They knew. Even with the flow of time disrupted, they knew. Ryan is now a sullen man. The only thing that ties him to this world is the hope that one day it may be restored to it's lush and fertile beauty. He has heard rumors of a group of soldiers that will take back the world. They plan to attack the source of the demons. Maybe this is the one true path that will restore the broken line. Description:
5. Name: Specimen 5271938 (Schezar, Ryan) Age: 28 Country or affiliation: N/A Bio: What is Ryan? Is he human? Doubt it. Animal? Probably not. Alien? Nope. Ryan is simply a military experiment. Sure he can appear human, and he may even have been one once, but he's not anymore. Ryan is a nuero-plasmic organism. A 'Shapeshifter' if you will. His body, resembling a large pile of goo, is capable of forming into any shape it wants. Ryan was once imployed by the Magog as a infiltration man, but now he is a free agent and will work for anyone that pays him.
6. Uh... Yeah. I like your banner.
7. Who would play you? I would prefer to act in my own movie as myself. What music would play when you were... Happy? I've got Sunshine Sad? Summertime In Love? Ego Brain What would happen in the end? In the never ending irony that life deals my way, I would probably die in top physical condition from a coronary artery explosion. How long would it be? A ten minute skit.
8. This idea has been sitting idle in my head for about three weeks now. I originally thought about turning it into an RPG but decided to make it into a short story/novel thing. Here it goes... Island of Dreams Prolouge The United States has taken over almost the entire world. All of Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa, and parts of Antactica. The only place that is still free from the crushing grasp of the United World (formerly the US) is Australia. Being completely surrounded by water has it's advantages. The year is 2180. An Anti-Matter Shield covers the whole island. It protects from all airborne attacks and possible fly-ins. In the coast of Australia is a network of low-yield Nova Bombs. They decimate everything that they come in contact with. Ever since the fall of the United Nations in 2160, Australia has been a safe haven for those that openly oppose the actions of the UW. All the best scientists flock there to help develope new technology to aid in the struggle against the UW. It seems useless... All of the attacks that the Australian Resistance (AR) have launched have done nothing but infuriate the already raging swarm of bees. They have reacted with nuclear, protonic, and anti-matter bombs. Nothing can break the shielding over Australia. The resistance has done nothing but launch periodic attacks at the tyrants. Nothing major has been done. This is where the project codename: 'Island of Dreams' come's in. IoD is made up of an elite group of soldiers. There are five. The leader of the mission is Commander Alan Roecher. Roecher is a projectile weapon expert and is proficient with every type of gun. Lieutenant Jennifer Madison is the attending computer hacking expert. She will be cracking the many security measures the group comes up against. Former Navy Seal George Erikson is the knife and bladed weapon expert. Silent kills are his forte. A Ghost is always required on any mission. The Ghost on this one is Frederick McArthur. He majors in stealth and infiltation. And then there is me. My name is Ryan Gerrison. I'm the explosives expert. I'll be demolishing anything that can't be moved by conventional means. We are the Island of Dreams. We will succeed. -------------- This is just the prolouge. I'll be posting this chapter by chapter or in some cases part by part, depending on how much free time I have. Feedback is always welcome.
9. I'd have to agree with Dues when he said that most religious attacks are toward Christianity. I also see this thread turning into one very large religious debate, as it seems to be doing already... I hate seeing beautiful literary works like this being disected. This should really go in the Poetry/Fan Fic/Literature forum... Very good piece Soulstone. I think I'll print it off when I get home. :)
10. I'd have to say that jealousy can be a very bad thing. Jealousy can spawn contemp as well as hatred for another. I try to live a jelous-less life but it is a very hard task to complete. I see people and I"m jelous of the things they have or do often. I hate admitting that seeing as I try to do away with such trivial problems... But I can't. Jelousy is something that is built into the very genetic coding of our minds. Sadly, it's hard for one to completely do away with emotions. If only we were like the enlightened Vulcans...

Shinobi, it's not just you. I think it looks quite real too. Very nice. :)
12. 1.)What thoughts or words come to mind when someone says, "Church" Judgemental, closeminded individuals. 2.) Give two reasons why you don't go to church I don't go to church because I am Athiest, and because I do not wish to waste perfectly good time listening to stories. 3.) What qualities do you think a church needs to be a "good" church? I really have no opinion at all seeing as I don't really care for them at all.
13. I always watched this show when I was a child. I still occasionally watch the show when I can catch it. Goodbye Mr. Rogers, you'll always be my favortie neighbor. ------------------ Thanks to whoever merged the topics... I didn't see Sara's.
14. You and me both Vegeta.
15. I never have an empty feeling after satisfying my need for revenge. It gives me a warm supirior glow. It never leaves me feeling empty. I don't believe I'm addicted to it. I just like to fullfill the 'What goes around comes around" saying. Im the "What comes around" and usually I make it worse. It's fun plotting things that you know will hurt someone.
16. Guy and Gals... I didn't write it. http://www.otakuboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20373 is where it first appeared on this site and I'm sorry to say that the person I got it from failed to inform me that he got it from this site. This will probably get closed when James finds it. I honestly didn't know that it was already here James. Don't hit me with the Directors whip...
17. Least amount of playtime before selling it to a friend: Three hours and five minutes. I really didn't like the game that much.

Reminds me of tapeworms... I like the wording though. Very touching.
19. Both are completely normal, and, if done quietly can have no lasting effects on anyone. Everyone I know has burped or farted in public at lest once. It doesn't phase me in the slightest. Some of my female friends get rather embarased but they should know better than to let the opinions of complete strangers get to them. We (My group of friends) don't care. Why should we care that others care? Just my opinion.
20.
Orriginally Posted by Emjay- Spelling Corrected By DOK I wouldn't get caught dead watching that one movie.
And what is wrong with ET? I'm bloody Welsh!" --------?? grabs Nigel's head. ??- "What. Ever." Nigel- "Bloody Hell... I'm gonna go sit with the deaf kid!"
21. Stand By Me All Four Kids- "LEECHES!" Signs Mel Gibson- "It's time for an a**whupping." They round the house. Mel Gibson- "I cursed." Joaqueen Phoenix- "I heard" :) And forgive me if I spelled Joaqueens name wrong. I was doing it phoneticlly.
22. I really don't want to make another thread for this. So what is Otakubot going to do exactly?
23. If your school is like most schools there is a rule against any bad words on clothing. This shirt obviously didn't have and offensive language on it. Just the opposite in fact. The shirt told the truth. Bush is, by fulfilling all the criteria, an international terrorist. He threatens and, sooner or later, will attack. And he does it away from our boarders. She had every right to wear that shirt. I would. And I'm very sad to say this thread looks like it's going to become one big debate about Bush.
24. I run a Mac too Sara(Cera). Mine is so prone to crashing I'm surprised it hasn't booted me off for being on at one in the morning. Curse the Apples! --Random bit of info: 1000th post!
25. Dear Mitch: I like the peanutbutterjellytime banana dancer. Sincerely, ---DOK I like it man. 9/10 only because I think the yellow goes oddly.
