I love it. It is the perfect color for the image, and everything goes together very nicely. The "ST" is a little hard to catch at first, but that's the only fault I can find. Very spiff...Alexa.

I don't know the character, but I think it's cute. Make me think of a caricature, heh. There are some details that are pretty off--the "hang" of the jacket, and stuff, but hey--I still can't get that right. ^_^ *offers you a smiley sticker*

I'm a junior, but the vast majority of my friends are graduating next month, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit miffed at them.

Heheh...I love the phobia list. It's in my bookmarks folder under Really spiffy sites that I really have no use for but like to look at every now and again. ^_~

Eh, I was scribbling and came up with a new character. She's a jackalope girl, and her name...*suspense* is Jacky.

I don't drink much soda...I always have milk at lunch, heh. Soda gets me hyper, and you really don't want to see me while I'm hyper. It's scary. I do like chocolate, though, when I can get it. ^_~ (I make it sound like it's in really short supply, heh...)

I really liked it, heh. I still stand by my original claim that the entire movie is an excuse for some royally messed up fight scenes.... But, yeah. Wow. It was a really, really good excuse for some royally messed up fight scenes. ^_^

Try re-uploading the image file. *glances at Syk3* Is that standard procedure in this situation?
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel That's what I think anyway, and it's why I like reading Piro's posts in here in particular.
Yeah. Heh. Piro's posts are very refreshing. ^_^ And I'm not saying you have to stop rating...this thread is more of a "Sara is trying to comprehend the mysteries of the art forum" thing.

Do you see what I'm saying. Not really. I just don't see the point. "Oh, you didn't color this, so you get a 9.3 instead or a 9.8, because I never give perfect ratings anyway." That just...I don't get it. I think pictures should be rated as is...if it's nto colored, and you think it should be, reserve rating until (if ever) it is. Or simply look at it as a nice black and white picture.. If that's what it's intended to be, that what it should be judged as. You know, Michaelangelo, it's a really nice mural, but I think it would look better on the wall...

Ah, I was afraid you'd post here first... It wasn't anything against you, heh. It just reminded me that I'd been meaning to post this. Members who have been around longer know I don't like ratings. What I meant about the colored/not colored thing: If someone posts a finished picture, and Rater can find nothing wrong with it except, "You should color it," does Rater judge it as a finished black and white picture (which I would assume would be something close to ten) or drop the rating by 1.97 because it isn't colored? Am I making sense?

It only loads halfway for me...?

People hang out here quite a bit. Some more than others, granted... I usually have a window open here whenever I'm online, which is quite a bit, although I'm not usually posting.

When you are at the page making a new thread, there is a button at the bottom of the page saying something along the lines of "Yes! Post a poll!" or something like that. Click the little box (or circle..) and submit your thread. After a second, it will take you to the Magical Poll Making Page. ^_~ ...wow...run on sentences...

*cough* Okay, I just saw someone change their rating of a picture from a 7.6/10 to an 8.3/10 and I'm sort of at a loss. I don't rate, and I ask that my pictures not be rated (ratings above 10/10 are grudgingly accepted), because I don't really like the way most people do this. How do you rate a picture? What exactly drops a picture from a 9.24 to a 9.17? If you think it would look better colored, do you rate it as an unfinished colored picture, or a finished back and white one? I'm just curious, because I really don't get it.

Kittie, heh. I don't know you, sorry. ^^;

*stares* But--But--You're so light and cheerful! Wow, heh. I did not expect you to like that freaky girl. Banner's okay. Very...Emily-ish.

--ACT...PSAT...SAT...CAT...IOWA... Okay, enough caps lock. I suppose I was just wondering what folks think about bubble-tests. How do you score on them, do you think they're worth the time it takes, how often does you school administer them, which ones have you dealth with... Not anything very specific, but it's the time of year I always took them in grade school, and I'm curious. Or really bored.

Personally, I don't mind the blue...I just think a lighter background would work better with the picture.

My friends and I have this ongoing debate about whether or not we in the Wisconsin/Michigan/Minnesota area have accents. The word that drives me crazy right now is one Jenna mentioned a while back. Bag...I always say it with a long a--I don't think I even can say it with a short a. Funniest thing in the world... (if your rather short on entertainment, anyway) to listen to a half dozen teenagers try and repeatedly fail to correctly pronounce a three-letter word.
Originally posted by Dan L When it's all one word like my AIM SN, deusexmachina92, you wouldn't be surprised at all the kind of names people see in there.
*coughs violently, trying to cover up a laugh attack* Okay, here's an interesting one: Cleave. It means both to cut apart, and to adhere to. It's its own opposite. And if that isn't spiff... Some of my favorite words are regalia...(haha, I love that word) and der Schmetterling (it's butterfly, in German.) I read more than I talk, so I'm always coming across interesting new words...and I'll get what they mean, and how to use them....but I'll have no idea what they're supposed to sound like. For example...genre. I knew what that meant in writing, but when my freshman year biology teacher asked what jhan-rah of books I liked, I could only stare at her in complete confusion. Or when my friend said that I'd peeked his interest, it took me an awkward moment or two to realize he'd just said piqued. If I don't know how to say a word I'm looking for, I'll just grossly exaggerate the mispronunciation and wait for someone to correct me. It's funny, and keeps me from looking like I don't know what I'mt alking about. (Well, I don't, but I sound like I'm just making fun at something, so it works. ^_~)
Originally posted by Manic Sara, I think the ability to feel and control others' emotions is called "telempathy." I'm not sure, though. So don't quote me.
*quotes you anyway* *although Mitch beat her to it* Heheh. I had to, too, even if I wasn't the first. Telempathy...heh. Well, I guess it works. Everyone would always assume I was misspelling/mispronouncing telepathy, though. Hm. *offers you a gold star for putting up with this*
