4. I've seen smaller communities do it by hand, but...yeah. We've got so many members... o0
5. Samurai Pizza Cats, heh. I don't think I ever saw that, but I have a couple friends who have a mild obsession with it. The first anime-anything I probably saw was My Neighbor Totoro. Heh. The first series I watched was probably Digimon. I don't specifically remember anything before that, heh.
6. There's a thread about this just a ways down the page. ^_~ -Sara
7. I'm in Wisconsin. South of Milwaukee; north of Chicago; east of the Mississippi; west of the lake.
8. ...and loud. Trumpets are loud. *glares* Also, the first trumpet in our band is the most arrogant, ignorant person...*seethes*
9. I know we had a computer class when I was in seventh grade, and the internet sorta confused me. I didn't quite get it. >_< So I guess I would have been...twelve? Or, well...I know we had it on our computer when I was in fourth or fifth grade, but it was AOL and I didn't much mess with it. I didn't get what you were supposed to do with it, heh. I actually started of doing a lot of stuff online when I was thirteen and fourteen. End of seventh grade, I guess. I did a lot of chatroom stuff with Excite VP during eighth grade. Good times...
10. Personally, I'd recommend the oboe. ^_~ I can't make a sound on a flute, heh. I'm a reed-instrument player. The oboe's sort of a cross between a flute and a clarinet, and, in my opinion, much cooler than flute. There are a lot of flute players, and it's so much fun to be in the minority. You get cool parts, and stuff. It's got a double reed, which is different and cool. It also has a slightly nasal sound compared to other reed instruments, but hey--I still think it's awesome. I don't actually play it, but I'd like to learn, heh. If the nasal sound bugs you too much, go for the small Eb clarinet--also a fun one. It's about the size of a recorder, I think, but infinitely cooler. (It would be hard to get less cool than a recorder. I was forced to play recorder for five years during school, and I hated it.) If you really want to play a flute, see if you can get ahold of a larger one--lower than the regulars. They hook around, and are much cooler than normal flutes. flute-ness Go for something a little out-of-the-ordinary, heh. Tis fun to be different. (Big instruments are cool, too. My sister plays the baritone and bari sax, and wants to learn Tuba. I've played also played alto and base clarinet, and they are awesome.) But yes, if you want small, go for oboe or Eb clarinet. Or like Tony mentioned, a small saxophone. (Is there one that's just straight, like a clarinet? I think there is, but I'm not sure...)
11.
Originally posted by TarMeg1989 Yes, saying " I love you " is a big lie. It's the one way to seduce someone.
I believe saying "I love you" is one of the scariest things you can do. I've said it to someone...and I don't believe I was trying to seduce them. It's a crazy feeling, saying those words, and meaning them--and having your breath catch in your throat because you're afraid you won't hear their echo from the person you spoke them to. Hearing those words back is the best feeling I've ever had, bar one. I don't think love is just about finding your "soulmate" or whatever you want to term that. And while I can do nothing but smile upon those who believe they have, I can't downplay what other people feel, either. I've never been on a date. I've never been in a dating-type relationship, serious or otherwise. Never had a boyfriend--the opportunity has been there, but I believe I did the right thing by not dating him. I've still loved people. I've cared about people more deeply than I've ever cared about myself. There are people I know who I believe I could happily spend the rest of my life with. I tell them I love them. It's true. How is that a lie? I have some wonderful friendships which I could see potentially turning into dating relationships. It's merely potential--I don't believe either or us would ever actually take the initiative in such a thing. There's always the fear that it would turn sour and end in a bad way. Neither or us would want that to happen--to the other person, or to ourselves. No one ever wants that to happen...but when there's been a deep friendship, when things end, you lose more than a boyfriend or girlfriend. You lose whatever you had before the relationship turned in that direction. I don't know if I would be able to risk that again. Losing a friend hurts badly enough, without the added pain of a romantic-relationship break-up.
12. Pet peeve: When people leave a book open, face-down, to hold their page. Drives me nuts. Is it that hard to find a piece of paper to use as a bookmark?
13. I do sprites sometimes. Eh...

Hope you're alright, Josh.
15. That's funny. "Dude." Heh. Because your signature looks like a big wave, and...yeah. That looks great, [strike]Aries[/strike] Kinetic. No clue how it's done, but it "looks pretty." Heh. ^_~ Do something with yellows and oranges. *teases*

Cool Graphic

[You could also work with the black--giving it some kind of border--probably something gothic that looks like wrought iron--would give the black text a place (although I would still look around for a different font, unless you're really fond of that one). As it is, though, the black doesn't fit, and white goes better with the whole wateriness.] :whoops: Okay, enough about that.

Incidently, I think your sig would look much better with white text. Or a black border. But the way it is now looks very...unfinished.
19. I've played clarinet for...*counts rapidly on fingers* seven years. I was first chair my freshman year, heh. [Not telling you how many clarinets there were :p] We were a really small group--twelve people--with a new director. It still turned out pretty well. We went "on tour" and traveled up to the Twin Cities... I love music--that part of band was awesome. Unfortunately, the people in band were pretty awful. It got to the point where I seethed the entire period--nearly skipped the last concert, too. I didn't join again this last year. On the other hand, drama....
20. We really don't need two threads about band stuff going at the same time. Keep the conversation in the other one, please.
21. I think a middle-shade blue would look better...More innocent, or light, or something.
22. It looks like his head is on backwards. And the lens flare seems like it is in the wrong place, for some reason. Nice job with the sand, anyway. It look...sand-like. Heh. Sounds stupid, but yeah. And we have a limit on how big a signature image can be--please resize yours, or choose a different one that is 100x500 pixels. Thanks.
23. Heh, I was thinking about that too. Want to start a Pro-Yellow club? *laughs* I can't really see anything shoe-like about it...o0 But it looks neat. It does look painting-ish. Not so much in the middle, but on each end.

I don't like it as a whole--the ripple bit in the center doesn't appeal to me--but the edges around the top look very cool, heh. Double posting isn't allowed under any circumstances, and the image you had was too large to be in your signature, anyway. The limit is 100x500 pixels. -Sara
25. I had a dream where I was bit by a giant carnivorous frog, my fifth grade science teacher was the leader of a Nazi insane asylum, and I tried to kill myself by walking through a window at ground level. Nearly worked, too. That's the cliff version, anyway.
