Thanks bro.
i think a bro-hug emoticon is just too manly to be a smiley, though the thought is appreciated...

Well, at least were all not dead.

Yeah, I've been suprised by the amount of rain Europe gets during the summer months. It always makes it miserable outside the next few days, though.

I have another new computer. I far to happy right now! :P
Nah, getting a new computer (or computer related product like an iPad, smart phone, or game system) is better than Christmas. Actually, it is like being Jewish but having Santa Clause stop by your house to give you a gift just so that you can rub it into all of your other Jewish friends' faces because they only got Chanukah gifts.

It is better then Christmas, especially since I don't celebrate Christmas. I just got sick of trying to fix my dad computer. So, we got a new computer for me that will be able to use my graphics programs need for school and he got my old computer. I swear, we go through computers like there nothing.

who really celebrates 'Christmas' anymore? My family could rename it "giving people stuff and getting junk you didn't want day" or Gpsagjydwd for short.

While I agree that the commercialistic view on Christmas has taken over a bit, I'm always appreciative of what I recieve for Christmas.

then i will get you something special Korey.

as for me its usually a day were i put on my best fake impressions of how much i like what i get...
its not too hard because just getting anything means they cared, and i know how hard it is to shop for people... it takes me forever to by people presents.... maybe i am a grinch... but i think it would be more fun to pool all the christmas money into a vacation with the extended family... that way we can care for ne another... do something we all like, and spend exactly as much money as we want.

I just fix mine up myself, it comes in handy cause ive never bought a computer, the most I've spent was 5 bucks for a 40gig hard drive, built the rest from scrap parts

That's an interesting idea. I'd like to pool the money and go on a vacation. Provided, people could get off of work.

Great idea indeed. Especially considering I don't know how to pick things out for other people either. I'd like to be in a position where I can buy some pricy (not too pricy) gifts for my family at least once in my life, but until I get a call from some employers that's not gonna happen... Then again I haven't really tried applying anywhere since being in college.. So I may be able to get a foot in the door since I graduate this December and Chrysler, Ford and GM are all hiring at the moment. I'm debating on whether I want to apply now or wait until I have 2 classes next quarter where I won't have much of a hard time trying to work around my schedule. (I'm struggling trying to keep up with just 3 classes and no laptop as it is already)

i hope you can get a job after school, if not there is no hope for me.
and as far as a Christmas vacation goes... if i am lucky enough to get a family, gifts will come second, vacation will be most important... that way we have something to do every Christmas.

I wish my family was more into Christmas. Lately we've barely done anything. Same with birthdays. >_> This year though, I'm going to try to change things and bake some Christmas cookies for once.

Also, I can't bro-hug but I'm here for you CaNz. :( *Girl hugs you anyways* Edited by Lilt

Christmas comes early then. *Girl hugs once more while passing a sugar tree cookie*

And you're welcome, CaNz. I'll be glad to see your new banner then.

I hope it was nice to see San Francisco again at least. Also, I meant to say that I've been there a few times. Another friend of mine was also born there so I visit her when I can. It's one of my favorite cities actually.

Today I realised I spent too much time in marching band. Even after four years of being out of the program, I still get fidgety when I see freshmen with poor marching posture.

But my sisters going back to school means I have one more month of buffer. Time to find an apartment and search for some job openings.

I don't envy anyone in the job market right now, good luck! Unless you are looking for creative positions at "A" rated ad agencies. if so die...I have enough competition already!

Seriously though, good luck!

how can i possibly stay sad when you keep hugging me? ^_^

its a good city to have friends at. there are a ron of tourist attractions they can show you, and they will have fun 'cause locals never do them.
the city was great, i love how full of life it is, and with all the people making the trip there, as well as the lifestyle of the city... its the most diverse place i have ever been.

how do you like the banner? that would be SF Hamtaro is crushing! Edited by CaNz

My day off and I have to spend it moving stuff around so the kitchen can be remodeled and then a visit to the doctor to get this swelling thing under my arm removed. If its not too serious I can avoid surgery.

But if I do go through surgery I can skip work for a week or two.

I'm hoping for surgery.

thank you Miss A.

I do love the show... it was too adorable not to like... though it always made me crave sunflower seeds (the way those hams chowed down on 'em they must be great,) i went so far as to take a girl to prom because she had a pic on her binder. (dated her for two years after that)
