I'm not a fan or anything of System of a Down, in that I don't go hunting for their songs/albums etc. But from what I have heard so far (thank a school friend and a long trip by coach.. and Weh), I have to say that I think they are very talented. They come up with some very well done tunes, and the lead can sing. He just.. doesn't, now and then. The lyrics are very good from what I've heard so far, and I just love the way each song is done up. I like the funny sounds and the instruments they use as well sometimes, lol.

Manchester has too many accents alone >.> When I went London, I got laid on heavy because of my accent, lol. But all the time I was there, it felt weird because everyone sounded so oddly similar that I couldn't recognise peoples' voices or something >_< Silly London people. They say their 'u's like 'a's. And people from Liverpool.. *doesn't go into Scouse*

So a character can't change his hairstyle? And they can't dye their hair? And doesn't Sora have spikey hair anyway? And can't people naturally change hair colour as they age? And what's wrong with seeing Mickey doing the somersault get-up? I dunno about you, but I'd rather see him doing stuff than Goofy and Donald.. *shrugs and walks off*

The
AI
Aftermath/A Shattered Hope The old man hunched over himself and allowed a shudder to escape his torn and tired body. The nights these days were especially colder, and he no longer felt the will in him anymore to work as long or as hard as he could do back in the days of his youth. And no sooner had the moon hidden itself behind a greylined black cloud, the old man determined it was far too dangerous for his self to be out still dealing in the harsh streets. He blew warm life into his wrinkly overworked palms, and began his nightly pilgrimage back home. He had only tonight made enough to keep his family going an extra day, but he had more than excused himself already for this, and he decided that he may as well survive one day at a time. The man started up a little pace, and quickened it to a faster walk after a while. The quicker he was out of the labyrinthine alleyways that he knew so well, the quicker he would be that much more significantly safe. As the man reached the alley mouth to the dirty main street, he halted. His eyes darted left to right, and he deemed the area before him secure enough to pop out of the dark little building gap, and in a casual enough manner, to flit from shadowed corner to corner. --- 23rd September 2024 Private Mouse O'Connor, Diary Entry of --- I think this war is going to come to an end soon.. you know? I can just feel it in my heart. I dunno. Call it a soldier's dying hope, or a fighter's intuition. Or let's just say that I miss home so much I'm force-feeding myself lies. I've been at war for just maybe two months at the most, and I'm sick. Sick of everything. I just hope that it all works out as soon as this is done, you know? I wanna make it out of this damned place a hero. I want to walk in the street with my head held up high. Even when I'm old and greying, I want people to point me out and say 'Hey look! There's old Mouse, the war hero!' Written with peace and family in mind, Mouse. --- Mouse proceeded to walk down the bleak street; its lamp posts flickering haphazardly. Head down, his hands were thrust deep within his trenchcoat pockets. He was far too deeply caught up in the sound of his own footsteps to notice the following until a rather large puddle was disturbed. He turned around sharply. 'Name?' 'O'Connor, Mouse.' 'ID?' '#280306' He stared up and down the two people opposite him. From their washed-out uniforms that reminded him of the long-vancished Cuban militia, he could easily tell that they were officers. They were a great deal larger than him, and seemed very unfriendly to say the least. The woman entered his name into the palm of the glove she wore, and watched the information jump out into the air above. Organised fireworks of holographic data. 'So.. an old war veteran are we, Private?' He hesitated to answer. There was something about the way the officers were going about asking their questions. 'Yes sir. I partook in the Third World War.' The atmosphere felt wrong. And they were most likely going to search him for drugs, which tonight of all nights he still had on his person. 'Sir, you have a record of multiple incidents of drug dealing.' Mouse had seen it coming. And he knew what else was now still left to come. 'Sir, lie against the car, spread your legs apart, and please put your hands on your head.' --- 17th August 2025 Private Mouse O'Connor, Diary Entry of --- You know, I think I've lost it. The end of this war doesn't mean anything anymore. War is hell. And I hope everyone who let their sons and brothers lead themselves into the mouth of hell rots in misery. I just want to get out of this hole, go home, and just beat the first good citizen I see. Written in the hope that there will be no more need for soldiers after this war; no more violence, Mouse. --- Mouse could feel his senses dulling, and his eyes beginning to draw closer together. He was tired and couldn't care anymore. But he could still taste the sharp blood that dripped out his nose and along the top of the car. 'Some future you patriots led us into!' The other officer joined in with the jeering. 'Some perfect example, you old drug-addict.' But Mouse was no longer listening. He was far too tired for any of that anymore.. --- 3rd September 2025 Private Mouse O'Connor, Diary Entry of -- It's nearly over, you know? Everyone's talking about it. And it seems to have calmed down on both sides. Not so much shooting, and a helluva lot more talking. Guys talking about who they miss, who they love, what they'll go back to.. I don't really have anything to go back to anymore. Gonna start myself a new life. See, I can say that I've done my bit for mankind. And I can say that I was one of those who paved the way for the future. Written in confidence, curiosity, and with no patience for what awaits us all, Mouse.

Half the game Rikku is in some sort of awkward and uncomfortable stance, lol. And those are really nice pictures, lol. o.o The only thing I can see wrong with any of them, is the left hand of Rikku being kinda weirdy shaped, but that's only after I checked back because I read what Heavyblade said. Yes. You needa post more pictures ^__^

Anime Who is the True Legendary Super Saiya-jin
conpiracymonki replied to Burori's topic in Otaku Central
I think that other Oozaru Super-saiyan it shows from the past is a Saiyan that turned Golden Oozaru because they had a tail and passed the requirements to become SSJ. But I think they couldn't calm down enough and control themselves to turn SSJ4, and so, just ended up destroying themself. I mean, I don't think there would've been any of these next-gen type SSJ (I mean like Goku and the gang; blonde hair, aqua eyes etc etc) back in those days if they all had their tails. As for the Legendary Super Saiyan thing, I have no idea what to think on it, because I don't exactly know what they say about this 'Legendary Super Saiyan'. I mean, if it was natural raw power they were talking about, than it'd be Brolly, hands down. If they were talking about attained power or whatever, then it'd be Goku. I think even with Vegeta's grit and determination and his ability to always catch up, he's just not enough to get this Legendary title. [strike]In short, I think the Legendary Super Saiyan is Piccolo[/strike] I was bored >.> *wanders back out of old home forum* -
That's the message on a bell in Gizzamaluke's Grotto (can't remember how to spell it x.x) *points to Ginny's question* I dunno. It looks like FF7 to me, lol. Maybe 8. (I can't remember there being any worm-thingies or Adamantoise in FF7 >.>) Anyway, question: What were the original character classes for the first Final Fantasy, and what have they been changed to for Final Fantasy Origins? (I couldn't think of anything, so I just plopped an easy one ^^;;)

I dunno much about the game at all, lol. (Except that I had a good look around and even researched for the stupid thing, and couldn't find it here) I know Piro's played it though, lol. He's one of the resident Brave Fencer fans. *runs off for no apparent reason*

What exactly is this PSX? I haven't heard of it until I had a look at this thread. I'm OK with the PSP. I found a little article on it in a magazine along with their little concept-design, lol. *is curious about this PSX thing* *wonders why they called it 'PSX'* x.x

Lol. This sounds interesting. If I still had FFX over the holiday I probably would've just gone that little further in the game, gotten whatever ship you get, and ran back to that temple to help out, lol. I recently beat Sephiroth for the second time using all initial equipment; Level 1 limit breaks; and no summons. It's makes everything surprisingly long and annoying, lol. (I didn't realise so much of the offensive stats were from the weapons themselves o.-) FF RPGers have no life >.>

Lol. Basically, I wanted to try and enter something for myOtaku, but I found it too difficult to copy anime pictures using Flash (thanks to a lack of scanner-access, that's all I have really). So I pretty much just gave up on that idea soon enough. Anyway. I began to wonder if drawing a picture from the outside-in, without black outlines would make it have that cel-shaded effect, lol. So basically, I just grabbed a GT Goku picture, and traced the outline in Flash, and put the picture to one side. Then I just tried to copy everything inside part by part. The end result was pretty messed up, so I tried adding grey detail-lines, but they could barely be seen, lol. So I went over in black, and then realised the whole point was to not use black as an outline, so I went over it in dark brown. And then I realised that was exactly the same thing as the black, so I tried to make all the detail-lines into skin colours. Less excuse-making drones, and more finger-pointing laughs, lol. Oh, and yes, I traced the outline, lol. So it's no point someone venturing out, finding the original and mentioning how the hair messes up exactly where the hair fades into the background in the original x.x

Lol. No-one knows about it yet here -.-' I think we'll probably get it in a good two months' time or so >.> But um, yeah. I don't really know what to think from reading the thread. The replies are.. mixed >.> *wonders off imagining cool new Spiderman cel-shadedness*

Reminds me of MGS2 o.

Bleh. I dunno what I pick, lol. You got these crafty stealthy guy and girls on one side, that'd kill someone in their sleep if they were ordered to. Cowards, and not very well thought of. And then you have these strong honourable warriors that would stab themselves through some horrible belly-part and die veeeery slowly if they felt they had shamed themself. Bleh. I dunno what I pick. Probably the ninja, though. I thought Tenchu 2 really caught that Ninja-amurai thing well nearer the end >.>
*points to Tatsumaru and says something about ninjas having some sort of code of honour also*

Um, everything was hand-drawn (scribbled) in Flash.

Two days ago... The partially open inn door gave a little whine, and then swung open in a loud show of windy force. Gael allowed himself to be dragged out of his deep sleep of empty nothings and opened a weary eye to the warm candlelit downstairs bar-room. No-one; just the wind. He closed his slumber-interrupted eye again, turned a little in the cushioned far back corner of the room, and strained once more to drift off to his little land of fantasies. The door slammed shut, and though this time he did not show any physical reaction to the sounds of the creaking hinge and the whip-like finale, Gael had surely heard its blurry echoing. Wherever his mind was at that moment of half-awakenness; somewhere in that plane of ethereality. Within a short (yet seemingly long) time, Gael was fully unconcious. And in his mind, vivid and disturbing colourful images fluttered and flew around freely. His head began to fill itself with self-poisoning thoughts of venomous despair. Thoughts of screams and blood. He had been waiting his parents' arrival at the inn for days on end now; why had they not come yet? Illegible letters of excuse.. all sorts of explanations rushed through him. Pictures of a smiling couple.. what did his parents even look like? Gael shot out of his 'bed', the cosy little beer-stained back-corner cushion, and frantically looked about his environment. As he gathered enough sense to realize where he was and what time of the early morning it was, he sat back down in his corner with a single thought in his mind. Were they even going to arrive?

I borrowed FFX quite a while back, lol. (I was playing it like at about the same pace and step as James) But I got stuck at
Lady Yunalesca
's third form so I just swapped it back, lol. I'll probably lend it again after the holiday's over to finish it off. FF8's actually not bad once you get into it. But once you finish the game, you realise that you'd never pick up the game again (except maybe for the end FMV; I liked that ^^;;). So maybe you should try that game againt too, lol. I still need to carry on on FF1,2,4,5,6 and finish off 9 and 10 >.> *makes FFX boss name spoiler so that the name doesn't.. spoil the game* ¬.¬

Oooh. Very well done, Syk, lol. I wonder who this person could be, lol ^.~ *wonders if anyone'll guess correctly* Anyway, I like the way you laid it out, Syk. Not a lot of empty space gaps, and it seems.. balanced, if you know what I mean. What are the things in the circle? I forgot what they're supposed to be, and I can't make them out properly >.>

*copies the pros and cons list idea* FFVII -The playing graphics.. as in the characters, lol -The way you're always playing cat and mouse -Some of the things that remain in this horrible cloud of ambiguous gamingness:
The whole Zack thing to name one
-Omnislash and KOTR.. I mean, I love them to bits, but they just made everything soooo much easier.. +Zack =p +Individual background stories..*nods* +Miniquests galore! ^_^;; +The materia system.. I loved it to bits, lol +The levelling up was just right, I thought +The way limit breaks felt just right.. coming up around about the right times. Not too frequent, not too scarce (FF8-type problem). Also not always just happening to come up before bosses and being un-saveable to the next fight (FF9 *cough*) +FMVs.. I thought they were really well placed, and they'd sorta pop up at relevant times and you felt you deserved the FMV for going through so much of the game -.-' FFVIII -Limit breaks, lol. They were too easy to get up, lol. I mean
you could just leave Squall on low HP and keep the other two party members as healers while he just cleared house all by himself.. especially once he gets LionHeart o.O
-The in-game graphics surprisingly. I mean, I dunno about you, but they seriously looked that 2D and twiggy to me. -OMG the Ragnorak/Ragnarok (I forget) was sloooow.. -Squall's whining just annoys me >.> -And when you'd run around in circles or go up and down on ladders, the following irritated me like.. ugh. -Levelling up was too easy, lol. -/+Odd storyline.. I dunno. Some bits bored me to death, while others just kept me in for quite a while. There were also those long boring bits that could waste ages if you messed up..
like catching Rinoa in space... loooooong and annoying
+Those funny characters. I dunno. I really liked Zell and Laguna and Fujin and Raijin. +I liked the FMVs.. although there were a few weird ones
, like Selphie's entrance. I especially liked the one where Squall was being chased by that AXTM or something spider.
+I dunno. Call me an idiot, but I liked the way it ended ¬.¬ +I liked the whole junctioning system, although I didn't think it was explained very well. FFIX (I haven't finished this one yet, but I think I've played enough to say something) -Levelling up >.> Too slow and difficult -That second controller during battles was a totally useless function, lol -The story so far reminds me a lot of
DBZ. Dunno if that should be a spoiler or what..
That kinda bored me a bit.. a lot.. (why I never got on with it, lol) -Trances. Ugh.. always popping up at the most awkward and easy times. And the fact you couldn't not-use them like in FF7 >.> Never there during the boss battles, lol. -/+The sudden class/job system freaked me out. But that's because this was my 3rd FF. But yeah. It's something that scarred my playing of this game.. I was totally unprepared for it, lol. -Steiner's walking. ANNOYING! >.> -Zorn and Thorn. ANNOYING! >.> +I liked the magic stone system thing. It was nice and different, lol. +The graphics were brilliant.. +And the FMVS, lol. I had to add them separately like I did for the other two games, lol. +Oooh, four party members.. FFX (Haven't finished it either.. but yeah! ^^') -Bad lip-synching -Awkward moments, lol -Didn't like the way they got rid of the World Map and replaced it with the path-type thing. It was kinda more accurate, but it got rid of the fun of exploring/getting lost and going somewhere nice at the wrong time. -I thought it was very unbalanced the way some bosses would be overly difficult while others were real easy -Switching players during battles made it real easier too.. although sometimes it was pretty necessary >.> -Yuna's voicing just seemed.. emotionless quite a lot of the time -The first Blitzball match seems impossible, lol -Spheregrid system: ewewewew. I just hated it. People are always saying how customizable it was. It was really just a nicely-shaped straight line with the odd split and blank spots.. I mean.. not much customizing there.. ¬.¬ +No more ATB.. (well.. again) Eeee! I liked the change +The slight class type thing at the beginning..that sorta fades away.. nice +I liked that trigger thing during battles, sometimes.. just something new +FMVs were brilliant ^_^ +And the graphics, lol +Voice-acting is always nice.. especially in the FMVS, lol ..I can't really say anything about the others because I really don't think I've played them enough to compare them yet. But yeah. Anyway, I can't really say how much I hated or liked certain points of the game by just listing them, so it may look like I like some games more than other from there (and I'm bound to have missed a lot out), but in order of likingness: FF7, FF10, FF9, FF8. *walks off*

That just screams FFVII to me o.< I'm pretty sure it's not meant to, lol, but it sorta reminds me of something that is spoiler-y. I think maybe the font needs stretching(?) and a little nudging to the right. Yes.. I like the way that beam thing fades into the spaceyness.
