Anyway Kaisuke-Kenji-b0y brought up the fact that while the BG looks nice it is really plain :P so right now i'm experimenting with adding a pattern to the white bg or just adding some random shapes with the pen tool. *it's off to work I go* (i'll probably edit this post and reattach my sig when V2 is done >___>).

It's different i'll give you that -_o. Really my biggest problem is with the color blending... the blending from the purple-blue to orange should have been more gradual. Anyway some test or something would possibly look nice -_o then again this style of art kind of bores me now as well. I used to like 3D art and I still do enjoy looking at the awesome pieces at DA but right now atleast for me i'm into creating actual objects and layouts -_o. I guess it's kind of a gradual progression =O. First it's 3D then 2D then you move on into real/practical objects :P.

Text placement is way off and your cropping skills need alot of work. Are you using photoshop (or paintshop pro) or are stuck with MS paint -_o? Either way I reccomend you spend more time cutting out your stock images and making them appear less jagged also the background on your megaman signature is rather bland try adding something to it whether it be subtle or complex anything to spice it up a notch would be nice. Also horizontally flip the megaman picture so that he is facing the other way either that or but the megaman stock image on the right side of the signature and the MMX6 logo on the left side of the image. Oh yes and speaking of text placement center the MMX6 logo it looks really odd as it is x__X.

Well on my day off from school today instead of spending all this free time doing my homework/projects that were assigned Friday I literally sat around and did nothing. Okay well that's not entirely true I did play Snood on the PC for a while and played some basketball... Oooh almost forgot to mention I ate cake. Anyway that is all besides the point :P. Here is a FMA signature I made for myself simple yet sweet, animation needs a little tweaking and i'm working on a matching avatar but I figured I might as well post this to get opinions. :::EDIT::: The border looks better on a dark background as there is acutally a white outline outside of that light gray border and this was really just another text experiment :P.

:-P yeah so sue me this has taken forever x___X mainly because of schoolwork but blah blah heres an animated version of the sig i made for you Dagger, really take your pick between the animated version or the still version in the first post =O I'm really neutral as to which one I like better but then again I always am >___>~! *edit* I also attached a second avatar to this post so if people could comment on that i'd greatly appreciate that as well =P.

Here are two versions of the same signature which aren't quite done but have been taking me for ages x__X (partly because I don't have alot of time on my hands and partially due to technical difficulties). The sigs aren't up to par with what i'm normally used to making but I'll try to change some things around in the final version =P i'll also attach the avatar I made (for dagger as well) in case any of you haven't seen it yet ---> (On a side note the avatar isn't done either as I was planning on animating it -_-. I was actually going to animate the banner as well but it all depends on whether I can get this new texture to look right or not >___

The second one i won't comment on because I really don't like it one bit the tech mixed with the color dodge is too bulky and doesn't really look appealing I also don't like the typo and that particular stock image just looks out of place. As for the first signature the motion blur or whatever you applied over the Spike stock image could use some work as i'm not liking that either, possibly place the motion blur behind the stock image instead of over it -_-? Oh yes and once again same problem with the typo different font is the main thing. BG is nice but the line across needs some work the bright line it creates just looks a little junky.

To be honest i'm not really sure that anime has had a great influence on me in terms of what I want to do in the future, I mean atleast right now i'd love to go into some sort of buisness and work under some firm that is related to anime or video games in some way but other then that as much as I would say... Pilot a Gundam or a Valkyrie it's just really impossible x__X. Well then again since watching Initial D i've really started to turn into a semi car enthusiast ^_^''.

Supposedly the new Saturday Run is supposed to begin on April 17th, or atleast that is the tentative air date for Gundam SEED. The truth is though while I love the fact that more good animes are going to start airing soon I rarely have time to stay up that late and watch them all (hey I gotta have my sleep :rolleyes:) oh well when they begin airing new series if they are not horribly dubbed maybe i'll resort to recording them x___X.

My vote would go to Kinetic -_o, but work on your typography bro. And the render itself looks a tad blurred 2d doesn't really mesh well but atleast the color choice was unique =).

Really the entire EVA thing is more popular in the U.S. and places out of Japan not to say it's not popular in Japan as well but in comparison to Gundam it just pales in world popularity or so I believe =O... That could also be because Gundam has been broadcasted to more people but bleh just my 2 cents. And to be honest I actually enjoyed the politics in Gundam while they can be boring at time it helps add a hint of realism to the story, it's not the simple "they're different" let us blow them up there's always other underlying factors at work. Now getting back to your original statement I guess it's correct to say that EVA is held in higher regard to most "serious" anime fans than Gundam Wing is but that's also because the target audience was different and the fact taht Gundam Wing wasn't meant to be a extremely complex anime. Anyway speaking of Mecha Anime Gad Guard was supposed to be decent and I believe it's coming stateside this summer =O. I was planning on downloading it but too late now looks like i'll have to wait until then x___X. I'm also not liking how the entire Macross Zero thing has been spread out so much -_-. I honestly hate the fact that the release dates for each part have been spread out so much >_

Hmmm well in the resize of the image the small text got shrunk so much that it came out kind of blurry as for the image in the middle box that's the way the stock image was =\. I could try yo replace it but there aren't that many images thatwould have taht same dramatic feel x___X. As for the aura before I had it all wavy and what not but I really didn't like the feel I might go for a thinner more concentrated aura though with a few long wisps here and there though =O. But thanks for the comment 1/8 is pretty good :P

Here is a smaller rendition (800x600) of a Megaman X Wallpaper I have been working on. It's not 100% finished and there are still some things that I have to finalize but I think it's coming along "just dandy" right now. Really i'm just tweaking the lines in the background and working on the dispersed aura that MMX is giving off. I also just did that red X now it was originalyl a gray-white and i'm not sure if I like it so if you could post your opinions on that i'd greatly appreciate it. Any other ideas/suggestions are also appreciated as i'm not exactly sure what else I want to add to this wallpaper. (note: original wallpaper is 1280x960)

Voices of a Distant Star is actually the translated/english name I believe x___X

The border could be thinner looks kinda chunky right now. Also try a diferent font and maybe add something around the tip of the gun maybe so it looks like its being shot =P. Smoke, plasma ray whatever suits your needs. :sleep:

Gundam and Macross are the way to go if you want to go old school =O. Macross really can't live up though in terms of todays standards because of the dated animation. The new OVA Macross Zero is pretty impresive and although I like the CG and all sometimes it seems a tad overused. As for Gundam the truth is i'm awaiting the next UC/UC-like series whichI doubt we'll ever get ='|. Not to say the new series are bad ^_^. Another mecha anime I liked that I wish actually had more mecha fights would be Full Metal Alchemist, if you consider Tekkaman Blade Mecha which I guess it is =O then i'd definatly rank that up there with one of my first & favorite mecha anime series of all time =)!

Nope I actually had to check the PSD to see what color border I used x___X. In the CS sig the color is more or less a light blue, it's actually a white outline with the opacity set to like 20 >_>. Hmmm... I never really noticed or thought of why I used light borders ^_^. Really I guess it'it depends on the sig itself, most images I make are lighter colored so a lighter border usually looks better, It's also because I usually find outlines such as a pure black or dark gray to be just too bold. Dark borders stand out a tad to much and I like it better when they blend/meld together with the postbit I guess =O.

Thanks, the basis of this simple sig was really on the text, and while the revolution text is a tad tacky it was an accidental effect I created and is what I based the image around that's the only reason I left it there XD. Really I guess the big "All I got to do" text should've been faded out a bit more but oh well i'll be sure to do that in the remake >_>. As for how the remake is going to be i'm still not 100% sure i could do something with a complex BG but then i'd have to re-edit and re-cut out the stock image because I really just hid it into the bg on this sig. But anyway, here's another signature I made which I never posted here. This is a Counter-Strike sig I made for a friend >_> this version is kind of compressed though so the quality down a tad bit. Also my graphics are always optimized for 1024x768 screen resolutions so those of you with higher or lower screen res. please tell me if their are any noticeable errors or things I should change in my images, with that said in done this sig truly does look a lot better in 1024x768, in 800x600 the airbrushing looks a little odd >___> anyway here it is... *edit the sharper CS sig has been reattached to this image ^_^*

This was just a test sig I created of PeaceMaker Kurogane. It was really me just trying to get back into the animation groove x___X, i think that's why Kaisuke said it best when he said i went a tad overboard on the animation XD. Oh well I plan on recreating the sig later possibly with more planned animation instead of just random effects and text :P. Well any comments or criticism would be appreciated.

An OVA would be a good idea actually maybe explore Dr. Jackal's path ^_^, or they could do a OVA about Ginji's past when he was leader of the Volts! I can see it now it could be the next Tsukiohen x___X. *Sighs* oh well =P... As for downloading anime bittorent and AnimeSuki are really the way to go , although Direct Connect also works pretty well. Ah Gungrave! I was going to start downloading this anime but I read somewhere it's already been licensed in the U.S -_o... Why it may look familiar to some people is that the character designs are done by Yasuhiro Nightow the same man who did the character designs in Trigun. I also believe that Yosuke Kuroda did the scripts for both Trigun and Gungrave as well =O. Really while I haven't seen the series and do own the game, the series really seems like a cross between a hellsing and trigun more than a Cowboy Bebop. Well then again =o... It's actually a kind of triple cross between the three series ^_^.

Has anyone seen the anime series Wandaba Stlye? Or something along the lines of that title? I believe it's a parody sort of anime that makes fun of many other animes or atleast I rememeber reading something about an anime lke that anyway anyone have any info on this series?

More Naruto -_-... ^_^ no that's cool really it is >_>. But there you go with the green strips and what not to be honest the wall would be alot better without them i'm pretty sure I suggested this before but instead of using those bars, just create yourself a mini symbol and slab your name in the corner of every wallpaper you make it's alot more proffesional and is alot more appealing. I'm also not digging the luminosity/pink color you have going there, not because it's pink but because monotone colored wallpapers don't appeal to me anymore =\. I do like how the eye is still green and all though :rolleyes:, the extraction of the image also looks good. But then there's the background the swirl does nothing for me either too simple, too much blank pink space in teh BG =O. I'm not quite sure I like text placement either but because the stock image is so big I guess it's really hard to put in anywhere else :therock:? Oh well it's not horrible, but I liked a few of the other things you posted before a tad better =).

Really too many images the render clouds aren't looking good and the color scheme isn't very appealing. If the entire image was black in white it would actually look better =O. You might also want to think about just getting a big manga scan than coloring it in photoshop it would probably give a better effect than what you have now =\.

The text in the background needs to be a tad bit thinner and the blood stains could use some work. Use some of the brushes found on this site ---> [url]http://veredgf.fredfarm.com/vbrush/main.html[/url] you should be able to find some bloody brushes there if i wasn't doing my homework right now i could provide you with the direct link but that should do x___X. Also another thing to fool with is when or even if you don't redo the bloodstains is try dragging the burn tool over different spots and what not to get a different feel for the image, the smudge tool is also a good way to make blood smears. One last thing which I like doing but only works sometimes is to take the color dodge tool hit it up to highlights and go over the anime characters eyes, it usually gives a bright yet cool looking glow effect =).

Keeping that in mind making PMK a 24-26 episode series actually seems quite plausible. I wouldn't be surprised if the only large event/arc portrayed in the series is the Chosou (sp?) radicals attempt to burn kyoto to the ground. Atleast from the manga that seems to be the major storyline (so far) in the plot; I still have to fix bittorent and download more episodes (past ep 7) but that kind of seems to be what the anime is aiming at as well. *More thoughts off the top of my head ^_^* Oh well I deifnatly PMK has the potential to be a 40-48 episode series but maybe that's just me x___X. On a side note Dagger or anyone really, I know in episdoe 7 Saitou fought the "Zombie Samurais" and talked to the dead spirts since then has there been anymore mystic/pure unrealism to the series? [Just wondering really =)]
