Umbert Thatcher straightened his hat as he examined the front room of the mansion. There were many other people around chatting and yelling with only a few just standing alone like him, taking in their surroundings. One particular woman caught his interest. Wearing a robe and hat he'd never seen before, she did not seem interested in anything or anyone in the room. Umbert walked gallantly towards the elderly woman, taking off his hat in the process he pressed it against his chest. With a quick lick of his fingers, he combed over what gray hair was left on his head and advanced, bowing his head before greeting her. "And what may I ask brings a stunning-" "Before you try and serenade me, Umbert Thatcher." the lady interrupted. "You should know what I know, as I know all. You are a retired sea captain who gave up your job after nearly losing your entire ship and crew to a so called giant squid-" Umbert interupted at the mere mention of his crew and the squid, a story he had told many times. "You say that with such sarcasm." he grinned. "My dear there are many places in the world that have yet to be discovered, especially on the sea. Do not mock me for I know what I experienced. That squid was very real and I barely escaped with my life." the psychic raised an eyebrow at that line. "And how did you escape, Mr. Umbert Thatcher?" she nearly spat out his name in a thick Jamacian accent. It drove him up the wall to hear his name be mutilated like that... especially intentionally. But this was a elderly woman and he would not be rude, no matter how superior she thought she was. Umbert swallowed his pride and for once in his life he told the true story of how he got away. "There was only one life raft. I took it as the beast lay siege to my vessel... I used my own crewmates as bait to get away." Umbert lowered his head in shame. The woman turned at him and smiled. "If more people would just tell the truth like that, the world would be a better place." she pinched his cheek and glanced around the room. "Now, let's explore a bit, these young ones screaming and shouting is driving me batty. And keep away from that journalist, she's a nosy one." At that moment, The Detective, a somber looking spirit with a fedora and a trench coat stood at the top of the stairs, overlooking all the contestants. He sighed for he knew that at some point, all of these people would be dead and he didn't quite like that. Not that he could really warn any of them of the true danger that lie ahead. He simply took out a cigarette and popped it in his mouth. The moment he lit it up, the smell of tobacco filled the room and of all the people there, everyone that already smoked had a sudden craving to have one as well. "Excuse me one moment, Miss...?" Umbert said. "Madea. You may call me Madea." "Well, Miss Madea I will be right with you in a jiffy, just going to have a quick cigarette outside on the porch before the curtains are raised on this interesting convention of characters." "You are a smooth talker Mr. Thatcher. Don't take too long, I feel as though you may be the only one here worth talking to." And the only one who doesn't recognize me from that blasted American radio show I wasted my time with years ago. She thought to herself. Umbert smiled and pulled out a cigarette from his front pocket, walking back towards the front door of the mansion.
  3. Hey, sorry I haven't posted! My computer completely died on me over the weekend so I had to get a new laptop (which I had actually ordered online 2 weeks prior, thank god it came when it did) so I finally have it here and can post. That being said all the characters have been introduced and I'm not really sure what to post but I'll just wing it. lol I tried getting online at one of my friends house at one point but they got mad.
  4. It's here! It's finally here! I would've posted in this thread earlier but I was playing too much Starcraft 2 to care! Please tell me there are other Otakus out there that got this wonderful, RTS masterpiece. Blizzard completely blew all of my expectations out of the water, especially in terms of the campaign which is about 10 times longer and more detailed than Brood Wars (and that may be an understatement, it's huge). I love the new Battle.net and its features although I'm still awaiting chat rooms. Still I only really play with my friends so Party Chat works fine. The matches are just... insane. I'll go into that when I know someone else here plays but I will say that I play Zerg and if you can't deny my rush at the beginning it's GG. Consequently it's a lot easier to rush with Terran now too (Reaper rush can be just as deadly, if not more, than a Zergling rush).
  5. Woo~ I'm excited! :D That looks badass. >:] You guys are going to get smoked.

Yay another one! I was always bummed out that I missed The Labyrinth. I guess this would be a sort of... spiritual successor. Ohohohoho. Ghostâ??s Name: The Detective Manifestation: A determined looking middle-aged man with a thick sheriff's mustache and combed back blonde hair topped with a grey fedora. He wears a white dress shirt tucked into dark grey dress pants with a black trench coat over top. A chronic smoker, he's never caught without a cigarette in his mouth so you will often smell him before you see him. Personal Description: One of the eldest sons of the Rosengard family, he didn't actually reside in the manor but a few hours away in a nearby town. He worked there for nearly 3 years without returning to his family but eventually he found himself homesick and had to go back for a visit. Unfortunately it would be the death of him. Power Card: SMOKESCREEN: Using this card creates a thick cloud of poisonous smoke that is nearly impossible to see through.
  7. Claiming next spot. ^__^ Edit: Done! Had to rush at the end due to having to go but I'll put more effort into the next one. >_<
  8. Okay I posted! Sorry about the wait guys I worked 6 shifts in a row and then on my day off Starcraft 2 came out so I've been very pre-occupied. Anyway the post is up, we're dealing with the demon. I introduced the beginning of the psychic pet thing as well to get that started. Those of you on the other team, if you feel like you're done your mission you can head back to HQ and wait there for us to finish or you can stay and research in the frozen tundra till we're done (or whatever else you can think of, anything works). We shouldn't be much longer.
  9. As Zach walked upstairs with Trin and Pedr he couldn't help shake the feeling that splitting up might've been a bad idea. While they would potentially find the demon sooner, it was in Zach's experience that demons find you. That being said he had the best of the best on his team and he found confidence in that. Walking up the old dusty stairs, Trin noticed something odd. "Okay, before we reach the top of these steps." she started. Zach and Pedr both stopped just before the last step, staring blanky at her. "All of the pictures in this house... They're all faceless." she said pointing to one on the wall beside them. "What?!" Zach said. Before he could explain to the other two what that meant it was too late. The picture hanging over the staircase that Trin initially noticed suddenly fell off the wall and smashed on the ground. "Up the stairs!" Zach yelled. The three of them darted up the staircase and down the hallway. They took a sharp right at a bedroom and Zach slammed the door behind them, locking it. The moment he let go of the locked door, the knob began shaking furiously as if someone was trying to open it from the other side. "Faceless pictures..." Zach muttered. "What is it?" asked Pedr. "Sign of a demon?" Zach gave Pedr a grave stare. "Just one specifically." Zack swallowed the lump in his throat. "Beelzebub." The moment Zach muttered the name, the door knob immediately stopped shaking. There was a silent pause before being interrupted by a loud and obnoxiously maniacal cackle. The laugh progressively got louder and louder, to the point where the three investigators could take it no more. Hands clamped over his ears, Pedr went to unlock the door. "NO!" Zach shouted reaching out to stop him, but it was too late. The door swung open violently sending Pedr flying back into the far wall of the room. He slid to the ground conscious but wounded. Another silent moment filled the room, giving Zach a moment to think clearly. "He must have gone to finish off the others, we need to go help!" said Zach. Trin shot Pedr a worried look as he was still sitting against the back wall, clenching his neck. "I'll be fine," Pedr grinned wickedly as he created a salt circle around him. "This should be enough protection to last until you guys come back with the rest of the group." The other two nodded and raced out of the bedroom. Zach noted how much the house had already changed. Blood, vomit and black ooze spattered the walls all over, rips and claw scrapes tore the old wallpaper apart and it now seemed like there was a portrait of a faceless person at every step. He definitely put a lot of effort into making this house seem nicer than it was originally. he thought. Arriving at the top of the staircase Trin and Zach looked at each other wearily. "I hate demons." said Trin. Standing at the top of what used to be a 20 step staircase a spiraling stair case now stretched down into complete darkness. They could not see the bottom floor whatsover, and looking behind them they found the hallway had completely stretched away into the black as well. "Jump." Zach said. Trin looked at him, shocked. "What?! Are you crazy? You jump!" she challenged. Zach pushed his glasses back to the top of his nose with his index finger and took a deep breath. "The trick to escaping demonic illusions like this." he explained. "Is to do the unexpected. Whatever path is the least obvious is the way out." and with that Zach ignored the staircase and jumped right over the side railing. Trin watched in horror as he disappeared into the shadows. "Zachary!" she screamed, hand stretched forward. VOLUME II Spiritual Guidance Zachary... Zachary... Wh-what? Zach floated weightlessly in total blackness. A voice echoed through his head. Zach, you and your team have done an exceptional job over the past few centuries. Centuries? What? What are you talking about? Who are you?! Suddenly the black turned to pure white and a spirit manifested before Zach's very eyes. It was a young boy who seemed to be around the age of 12 with bright blonde hair and piercing green eyes. My name is Michael. I was once an investigator like yourself years and years ago. You're just a boy... Zach noted. The spirit smiled. Indeed, my human form is a young boy. But I've existed for nearly 600 years in the spirit realm. 300 of which I've watched your team battle demons and ghosts alike. Three hundred years...? I think you've got us confused with-- the spirit interrupted Zach. Nay, you are the Zachary Cherub I've been watching. You must realize that one year in the human world does not equal one in the spirit realm. I do not know the exact conversion, but that does not matter. I'm here to aid you. a sense of calm swept over Zach as he hadn't been sure wether or not this was another of the demon's tricks. Zachary, this is a turning point in paranormal activity on Earth. There is no stopping that crack from spreading. It will open, the other side has assured it. You must do battle with the worst of the worst if you want to save your world as you know it. And I want to help you. the spirit paused to let Zach take that in. He'd already known about the crack but hearing that there was no closing it was a bit disheartening. There are other spirits like myself, who have found members of your group that they've watched, respect, and feel a connection too. We wish to help your team. Unfortunately, we cannot just appear before you in spirit form whenever and wherever we feel like it. We've devised a plan that will let us escape our spiritual forms and enter the physical world to help, but it will be in the form of small animals. Our powers have dwindled greatly in the spirit realm and we cannot take human form. This is where you must help us. the spirit opened his palm revealing a handful of colored stones. These stones contain the other dormant spirits who want to help. Tell your companions to find an animal and to release the spirit into the animal as soon as they can. The stones appeared in Zach's palm and he stared blankly. Wait, how do I know which coloured stone goes to whom? Zach asked. The spirit grinned. They will know which belongs to them. It will seem right. Zach sighed. What about this demon? Can you help us escape? Use your stone, find me an animal. Then I will help you. My time is up. and with that the spirit vanished. The white that had enveloped Zach turned back to darkness and he continued to fall. He hit the ground hard and winced his eyes open. The black had faded and Trin stood over him with a worried expression. Cross and the twins were there as well. Zach rubbed his head and sat up. "What happened?" he asked. Trin put her hands on her hips. "Well, you just jumped over the side of the railing like an imbecile and soon after the illusion faded. Apparently these guys were trapped in some sort of illusion/nightmare of their own and you managed to break it." Trin frowned at the blood dripping from Zach's forehead. "I don't think that's all he broke." Cross noted. Zach smiled and stood to his feet. "I think I'm fine. It only feels like I fell those 20 steps and not the thousands it seemed like. Let's go get Pedr and get the hell out of here. Forget the demon." and just with that the demons loud and obnoxious voice rang throughout the house. "BAHAHA! Forget the demon, he says! Easier said than done my friend!" he yelled. Suddenly all the windows and doors in the house slammed shut. Furniture and loose wooden planks lunged themselves at the doors and windows, blocking them off even more. The team raced up the stairs to where Pedr stayed. As they arrived he was just standing to his feet. Unfortunately when they walked into the bedroom, the door slammed behind them. "****." Cross muttered. The twins grinned wickedly, knowing they'd get a chance to fight for sure now. It was a stand off. "Back away from the door." Zach said. The team stood at the back wall and watched as dark energy poured into the room from underneath the door. The black smoke-like energy swirled a bit in the middle before taking the shape of a humanoid. However when the smoke dissipated they could tell this was no human. A pale gray demon with large black wings and two spiraling horns stared them down with his red eyes. The demon concentrated the black energy that was swirling around his legs into the palm of his hand. Just before charging forward with his attack he exclaimed. "It's been a while since I've tasted human flesh!" Don't worry about the pets right now, just wanted to throw that in there. There aren't any animals in this town anyway. Let's kill this demon! Remember this is Beelzebub, one of the devils right hand man so even if we wound him really badly, have him escape with an inch of his life or so he can come back for revenge or something, haha.

  11.
Thanks for the support, White. ^^ I'll slowly gather up more courage, and I do understand the reasoning behind this style of roleplay, I'm just slowly getting my sea-legs, so As for the psychic pet thing, either way works for me. If it IS an individual spirit per animal, though, I've got an idea for whose spirit may have taken up residence in Blu's animal, to guide and support her....
Yeah, I just don't want you to think that's how everyone on OtakuBoards roleplays, because that's not really the case. And I'm not sure if this is what you meant but I didn't even consider the idea of the spirit being someone well-known (Einstein come back in the body of a Kitten? ) so kudos there. Once we've got everything figured out I'll make a small pet sign-up sheet for everyone to fill out that will contain all the vital information we need. Also I just read those last few posts, awesome stuff guys that's exactly the kind of thing I want to see. I got excited just reading it. ^_^
  12.
I'm a little slow to reply on the board as I'm still getting use to the "everyone controls everyone elses' characters"... thing, which isn't how I use to play. But, I'm still here, just... observing a bit so I don't mess things up. ^_^
Yeah I know that's not really the norm for roleplaying but it's how my friends and I did it when we were kids and I find it more enjoyable. We're collaboratively writing a story about characters we've created separately as opposed to being limited to your own character and having to write an entire post of your character doing basically nothing. It ends up being a lot of thinking and no action and that bores me. I feel like this way all you guys get as much creative freedom as you need to mold the story with me. That being said I've got a lot of questions pertaining to specifics like what car does my character drive, how the blood circles work, etc. Honestly, use your own discretion. If someone makes Zach own a van, I don't really care, just give good reasoning for it (like he's got all this tech equipment or drives other members places a lot). Not everyone wants their characters to be that flexible but that's how I want you guys to continue this story. If you're apprehensive about throwing something new in there, just do it and we'll see how it goes instead of not posting at all. ^__^ Those of you in the active group, you're doing great and you guys can keep going. Don't feel like you have to wait for us. I actually split the group in two because I figured more than a few people would be inactive from the start and I didn't want it to hinder everyone else's experience. That being said Knuckles' Girl, Vongola, and Lilt (though I think she's about ready to post) all have yet to post. I'm going to give them around 7 days, send a final warning and if they still don't reply I'll be killing off their characters. I don't have much patience for inactivity these days and I want this RP to go smoothly (and if worst comes to worst and someone couldn't post in that week but still wants to participate we can write them back in). Here's what I've got for pets: Inuyasha Fandom (twins) - None (which is totally fine, I'd rather only have a few pets in a big group like this) CaNz (Ally) - Kitten? Lilt (Trin) - Ferret (good choice, so keeeuute ) PseudoWhim (Blu) - Sparrow Hawk Anom-nom (Eun Jung) - A slow loris, lawl So the way I was thinking of doing the whole psychic pet thing was just having one spirit that has split himself into all of our animals, so when the pets are close to each other, they just talk as one person (telepathically of course) and when they are split up they're able to think and behave separately. ...but I'm starting to think that's too confusing. How would you guys feel if we just had separate spirits in the pets so each one IS different? I'll explain it better in the RP (I've got quite the idea set up to introduce them) but let me know what you think. Keep up the great posts and feedback guys!
  13. There are a few villains that stand out for me (most of which have been mentioned) like Vegeta and Team Rocket. But one villain who I especially liked was Ryuk from Death Note. His love for apples and lack of interest in anything else it what makes him so awesome. That and he looks totally badass.
  14.
*cracks neck* Alright, let's do this. Uchiha Sasuke - Naruto "Revenge is a dish best served with every course of every meal you're ever going to eat...with the wrong cutlery!" I'm one of those people who actually liked Sasuke when he started out, he was a nice alternative to the obnoxious, loud, generally clueless Naruto who better fit the generally accepted style of a ninja. Over the years however he's transformed into a one-dimensional, omnidirectional betrayer obsessed with avenging his clan despite learning they're a hereditary group of assholes and traitors themselves (except for Itachi of course). He's become dull and predictable where as Naruto has grown and developed into an interesting character who's carrying a hell of a lot more emotional baggage than Sasuke on his worst day.
You, sir, have won my heart with that paragraph. I came into this thread specifically to tear Sasuke a new one to get it off my chest (I actually only started watching Naruto a few months ago, I know I'm a bit behind the ball on that one ) but it seems like you've done that for me (though I despised him from the start). I hate that cry baby.

Sure the graphics are a bit old school and I am sure the game play will be easy as pie, but I have a feeling that Scott Pilgrim vs The World is going to be a truly awesome game. At the very least it has to trump the new Michael Cera movie that also pays homage to the original comic..
**** yeah, I just read the last volume (which came out like 2 days ago) and it rocked. I was almost able to go to the midnight launch party in Toronto (where the author was there signing copies) but I had to work. Cho Eun Jung, the young Psychometric, able to pick up on certain details of an objects history simply by touching it. Cross Rumore, the cautious empath, always prepared for any situation and has the ability to sense the mood and intent of any form of creature, a useful talent indeed. Cross arrived with a Pizza as well, just incase he was the last to arrive. But he was not. Next arrived Philip, or "He Who Walks Among Us" an old friend of Zach's. Able to see and perceive the spirit realm at a glance, his power has proved useful many times. Blayze Frost followed, the silent but strong-willed childhood friend of Zach's had many dreams in the past that allowed PIT to be one step ahead of their rivals and enemies. She arrived with a frown on her face, clearly she'd dreamed something bad the night before. Before Zach could ask what, more of his team arrived. Silje "Trin" Holan, another childhood friend of Blayze and Zach, arrived without a word but a simple nod to Zach and the others. For the longest time Zach was sure they were the same in that they were the only ones in the group without any paranormal power or talent, but it's become a bit more obvious lately that Trin always seems to be the center of any unusual occurrence perhaps making her a sort of magnet for the paranormal. After that Ally Harper, the young, genius strategist, popped in with not one, but two pizzas and a huge, wide grin. "I'm not late am I?" she said. Zach smiled and motioned to put the pizza on the table behind him. "Nah, you're right on time. We're just waiting on a few more." he replied and without a pause the next member arrived. A tall, muscular man with a gray fur-lined jacket and a beige cowboy hat stood with a grin at his blood circle that brought him there. "Cowboy's here?! This must be serious." said Eun Jung. Before anyone could reply the final three members appeared before them. The first, a young girl with brown hair whom everyone called Blu, a sort of empath but for spirits. And finally the twins, Lucas and Ayeika DuVaull arrived. The blonde-haired chaotic duo not only had excellent photographic memory, but they provided PIT with an easier way of luring out spirits from their dark corners. Zachary examined everyone in the room and smirked. "Alright, everyone is here. Listen up!" he yelled. The members of PIT all sat down at a large round table they used for case briefings. "I'm sorry to have called a lot of you off from your vacation, but this is serious." he paused and took a moment to collect his thoughts. "Earlier today I received a call about a woman who's been possessed. The demon has requested specifically for PIT to come see him. We're going to go check it out, see what this thing has to say, get rid of it and hopefully save this woman in the process." Zach wished that was all there was to it. "There's more, though. I went to a meeting the other week with leaders from Paranormal Teams all over the world. We all know of the huge spike in activity over the past years, but we now have a confirmed source. One of the teams has a member much like Phil who can see the Spirit Realm. They've found a huge crack in the barrier between our two worlds that stretches from one side of Antarctica to the other. Apparently ghosts and ghoulies of all kinds are just pouring out of there." Zach explained. "We can't let this crack keep opening like this, and we need to find out what this demon wants. I'm going to split us into two team right now. I'll lead the team going to see the demon as he'll likely want to talk to me personally and Cowboy will lead the team going to Antarctica as there may be more than a few creatures to fight. Protect them with your life, Cowboy." Cowboy nodded in response. "Now, Phil, Eun Jung, Ally and Blu, you guys head with Cowboy to the crack in the barrier. See if you can find out how it happened, if it truly is getting worse, etc. Don't get yourselves killed if you are attacked by anything do not engage, only retreat you're there to collect information. The rest of you are coming with me. Let's go." and with that the members of PIT stood up from their seats and walked back to their blood circles. "You guys heading to Antarctica will be using Para-1's small base they've set up there." Zach handed Cowboy a scroll with a blood circle on it, the pattern was vastly different from the one they used to get to the HQ however. "Use this blood pattern to get there. I think only their medical specialist and bodyguard are there at the moment, but they'll provide you with proper attire to face the weather and a place to call home base for a while." "The rest of us are using my blood circle. The victim is fairly close to my apartment so we'll go from there. Text or call me if anything should happen. Good luck everyone." So there you have it! Half of you are going with Zach to the house where this woman is possessed and the other half is going to Antarctica to examine this rift between two worlds. I've separated you based on your powers and their usefulness in those situations. Those of you heading to the crack, your first few posts will consist of arriving at Para-1's (another research team allied with PIT) small base of operations there, getting equipped properly, and heading out to the crack to see what's happening. What happens while you're there is up to you just remember this crack is indeed getting bigger and it may be dangerous (i.e. you could get attacked by multiple spirits, maybe even a creature or two). For those of you coming with me your first posts will be us heading from Zach's apartment to a small town a few hours away where this demon is waiting. Don't rush us getting there as we can talk a bit on the way. When we do arrive at the town you'll notice it's very desolate and supernaturally active. As we get closer to the house we'll find the entire town is basically haunted and then I'll post the beginning of our actual encounter with the demon to start the real story. We can start having encounters with ghosts and such before we even get to house (as we near the town) if you need something to write about. Nothing dangerous really, just weird. If you have ANY questions or concerns please post them in the Underground thread here. I'm going to introduce the Psychic-pet idea fairly soon but I need to know what pet everyone wants (if you want one). Happy posting, everyone!
  17. Okay, I'll have the RP up either tonight or tomorrow during the day. Just waiting on one last sign-up and we're good to go. Looking forward to starting this with you guys!
  18. Thanks :D Your cactus needs a really puffy jacket to hug people with.

  19. *poke back* totally left MSN on while i was at work. XD

  20.
So mainly, I am just very disappointed with how they chose to play in the final.
Yeah, I'll have to watch the game myself tomorrow as I've got it recorded, but I can see that being frustrating. I'm interested in how their playing differed from the other games I watched.
  21. Bah, Netherlands lost. ;_; I didn't get to see the game but it sucks to hear Netherlands was playing dirty. I'm not very fond of Robben for that reason as he's often the start of that. Still they played their asses off to get to the finals and to say they don't even deserve that is kind of rude.
  22. Well the game has just started and I've got to go to work. FML, going to attempt to make it till 11:00 tonight without finding out the results of the game so I can watch it recorded. Fingers crossed! Go Netherlands!
  23. Name change again?! I preferred Anomaly. :3

  24.
I don't know if you were referring to me (I totally understand if you were) but I did get the feeling my character seemed to be a little overpowered. To clarify, Phil's only "power" as such is to be in touch with ghosts, being able to see and talk to them. The exorcism thing is largely a skill he picked up rather than an innate ability, and the "ghostly fear" thing is a matter of reputation that he's earned through luck more than anything to do with the sheer scale of his power. I realise now that in my Audition it did seem a little like I was giving myself godlike powers, it wasn't my intention. More than anything I didn't realise we were only going to be dealing mostly just with ghosts in the first place, if I had realised then I wouldn't have given myself such a high level of skill with the ghoulies. However, if there's any kind of problem with my character's powers then please let me know, I'd be more than happy to make some alterations. I really like the idea of this RP and I'd hate for people to think I was making it boring with my character's abilities. Also, I like the pets idea, definitely up for crazy psychic animals!
Nah I think it's fine how it is, it just seemed to eclipse the other powers a bit. Although I do think the bit about your reputation could be reworded a bit. It's true that a lot of ghosts would fear someone that can see them as clear as day (something they aren't used to) but if you're well-known enough there would also be ghosts that just despise you and even seek to kill you because of that ability so maybe make that a bit more clear. The first paranormal experience should be fairly basic, I mean if some demon shows up in your bedroom when you're 10 years old and starts tearing **** up, you're going to be way too traumatized to get interested in the paranormal. It should be something simplistic that happens that just sparks your curiosity. Nothing overly scary, a simple haunting or ghostly encounter will do. I'll try to get my character's up soon. Also, I've added a Personality form to the sign-up sheet. I don't know how I forgot it when I made the thread, but it's definitely required as it'll give other people an idea of how you want your character to be portrayed when they are writing them into their own posts. EDIT: Finished my personality and First Paranormal Experience if anyone wants to check it out.
  25.
I'm glad you made this because I was actually wanting to ask you if you thought the power I picked out for Eun Jung was okay/even going to be useful in the RP. It was between psychometry and post-cognition (seeing into the past to see what's happened to someone) and if you actually think that'd be better, I'd change it. (Incidentally, I'll change the internet research that leads to PIT. I'll have her move to the states for another reason and then she'll find out about it after. Gimme a little while)
Nah I think your internet research thing is fine (unless you really want to change it, up to you). I mean we aren't famous or anything but we has the internets and would probably have our own PIT website/message board you'd eventually find if you looked long enough.
Also, I was going to be a rookie but I was worried that might isolate me from the main story a bit? Which would suck because the best part is all the interaction.
No! I would love to have some rookies in the group. As it stands I was going to make a few people who signed-up as Elites Rookies just because I felt it fit better. Zach likes to go on most of the rookie cases so you would know him at least, and when things get really hairy (when the main story becomes obvious) the rookies will get involved as much as the Elites (or you get promoted part way through). I really like the idea though because some of us seem to be... overpowered for lack of a better word. If you end up being the only one to sign-up as a rookie, I'll make 2 others rookies as well because I feel it fits their characters more. And your power is perfect. You can change it if you want but I love it. I mean, a lot of ghosts supposedly attach themselves to objects and that is what makes them stick around instead of moving on. Being able to pin point that object, or at least being able to tell if an object had something significant happen to it in the past would be handy in that sense. Vongola, your power is perfect as well. In fact your guys' powers (along with Lilt's) are the ones I liked the most. They don't seem too unrealistic (there are people in real life who truly believe they are empathetic and may even be) and they aren't over powered to the point of making the RP mundane so it's all good. I'm glad you guys like the pet idea!
