I would have to go with my character Jackson Mcgee from my story in the Anthology section. It was a story, well more precisly an ongoing story, staring that character. Though my artist sort've feel off the face of the earth before she drew the first draft. 6'3 200lbs short spikey brown hair (not dbz spikey, just preppy style spikey hair) I guess something that looks like me.

What was the most disgusting thing you've tasted?
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Lunar's topic in General Discussion
The water in the pool I swim at. Today it tasted like a mix of male reproductive fluids and saltwater. ....oh wait. I was very distressed and it actually made me upchuck just a little.
Had to say it. Guess we know what your sex life entails since you know exactally what salty male reproductive fluids taste like :animesmil I would have to say the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted is (and if anyone knows what it is please let me know.) A korean side dish, it looks like a little piece of what melon, but tastes as though it was dipped in garlic and something else sweet. I actually dove into the kimshi(sp) to get the taste out of my mouth (though I do like kimshi) -
One thing you could always do (not the most creative idea in the world) is a recycling drive. You'd be surprised how many people are willing to drop their recyclable's off, or save them for you to pick up. Don't limit to just cans though, utilize the faculty to get old shreded tests, reports, etc. You could always mimic the riding musicians, though get some of the biggest guys you can find and do a riding bully thon. Price for admission, lunch money.

I'm 100% pro Mcain/Palin, but you do have to laugh, obviously America's laughing since the two are still climbing the polls. You have to respect the irony...If you get too caught up in taking things seriously than you need to avoid posting. Chibi started this thread as something humorous, if you didn't find it funny than just don't go and turn this into a debate. Put something you DO find funny, that's the whole point of this thread....sorry I guess I just became a hypocryte seeing as I didn't post a picture either.

Well it's been awhile since you started this thread and have gotten some inupt. So tell us Lunar, have you learned any new tricks yet?

I've always wanted a nickname that sticks. Since I played a lot of sports growing up and being in the military using my last name has become a nickname of sorts. So I hear Tyo all the time. My class in technical training dubed ourselves class Top Gun so Maverick was my name for the bulk of that. That stuck for awhile, but now I'm back to Tyo....which is weird because my fiancee calls me that from time to time.

Comparing the two is like comparing the old Ninja turtle dolls to the new. Yeah for those of us that were around when the turtles were first in their boom stage we think you couldn't compare the two because it would be no contest. Bratz are just the barbies of today. Sure barbie's still around, she's even a lawyer now suing the makers of Bratz for copyright infringment (Which sorta begs the question, was the movie Legally Blonde destined to be a prophecy?) Sure you don't see Bratz promoting "You can be what you want to be" But they mimick the direction society's going in. When barbie came out, there was the big push for women's equality. So they dipicted Barbie doing every single job out there, my sister had every special edition barbie on her wall that came out. So I remember athletic barbie, teacher barbie....and the list goes on. Nowadays since women's equality has been settled (Anyone who wants to start a new thread stating otherwise I will be happy to throw my two cents in on the issue.). So when you look at the bulk of younger gils nowadays, (Now this next point doesn't include the wonderful young women of Otakuboards), they're only interested in attaining the attention of boys, dressing like "movie stars", which of course means dressing like whores, wearing make-up much to young. It's sad, but the Bratz emulate that to the extreme. So you really can't compare the two. And as far as the "sexest" thing goes, let it go. Yes barbie may have been anatomically incorrect. But her creators didn't do anything that hadn't been done already. When she came out there were already "barbies" in show business. Big boobs, skinny, "perfect" (now just incase that's hard to figure out for someone, the quotes over perfect are because that's what it's supposed to be. But real men don't want barbie dolls. They want real women, natural and beautiful. Not full of plastic and poison.

Sensless Bickering Sabien thought to himself as he walked somewhere in the middle of the group. Since this thing started that's all they did, he couldn't deny Alucin's point. But then again, who was to say what was right or wrong. "You know i just had a thought." Sabien said in a break between Alucin and Kieran's exchange. "We should all take over this blood bank, put some red arches on the sign, make a drive-thru window, and sell blood to Ony in a meal complete with a toy." Sabien couldn't help but smile after saying this. Ony shot him a look, "Don't worry, after trying that stuff tonight. I'd join you anytime you'd ask" Before anyone could say another word, Alucin stopped, motioning for everyone to do the same. "Shut-up. We're here..."

RPG Lunar Knights: Return of the Dark Sword
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Tetra of sound's topic in Theater
Van rounded the corner with two fresh horses and handed one off to Neige. "Okay, I figure we have about four or five hours until dark fall to find the vamps..." Jameson was cut off by the sound of a quick approaching horse. It was Mel, and boy was he bloodied. As he near'd the trio, jameson realized it wasn't his blood he was covered in. "Boss," He paused to pant, the ride had taken a lot out of him, "vamps familiars attacked the base. There was about 200 of them, everyone's dead. The only way I survived was by hiding under some bodies till they dispersed. Being alone I could take our shortcut, but they had to go around the gorge. They'll be here any..." Suddenly Mel dropped to the ground, a large hole in his back. "Mel....MEL!" Jameson jumped off his horse, rolled the man over and lifted his head. There was no breath, Jameson dropped his head as he thought about all the things Mel had taught him over the years. Van suddenly tackled Jameson as something whizzed over them. "Taylor get down you stupid S.O.B." Rolling to their feet Jameson could at once see the perp. A man perched on top of a cliff, about 700 yards away was pointing a rifle at the group. "Quick, let's get inside" Neige cried as another came and dropped Jameson's horse. The group ran inside as Rayleigh was coming out to see what the comotion was. After seeing the man lying dead and the shooter in the distance, he motioned them all inside and grabbed Jameson. "Taylor you sonofabitch, what the hell is this?" He slammed Jameson up against the wall. "It's not me, that guy is one of the ones who killed off my men." The thought really sank in after he spoke it aloud. "It looks like the men working for the vamps are starting the assault, probably going to keep it up until nightfall when we're tired and weak. Rayleigh produced a large caliber rifle from a room next too the group. "I'm going to get a group of men on the roof, you guys take some men and find a place to cut them off. We need to take these guys out." "Okay Van, out of all of us you're the most familiar with the area. Where's a good place to set up an ambush. With so many men coming, we're going to need something good." -
Sabien barley listened to the other's introducing themselves. He was starving, and couldn't find another meal after that girl cost him his meal. He sat there stomach growling and energy dropping, watching her drain the bag of blood she kept. Finally he couldn't handle it. "You know you could at least offer me a bite after costing me a meal!" Sabien exclaimed fighting the urge to grab one out of her bag. "This is the only thing I eat, I don't take lives just to sustain mine...but I'll give you one if you say please." She replied with a grin. "Cute, really cute," he started, but a hunger pain stopped him short, "fine fine, may I please have a bite to eat." He grimmaced when he said that. He would never normally take himself down to that level, but after not eating for so long he couldn't help it. She reached into her bag and got out another bag of blood. Sabien looked at the....unethical meal laying in front of him. He'd been blessed with his gift to avoid doing things like this. But he'd done worse for food, and he had been starving himself in order to save room for the blood bath. He closed his eyes and prepared for the worst as he sank his teeth into the bag. At first he grimmaced at the taste of plastic and anti-coagulant. Not the anti-coagulant that vampires produce naturally, but rather an artificial version. Then as he picked out the blood taste, he couldn't help fight back a smile. "This isn't half bad, Ony right?" He remembered her name from the introductions, but he needed to sound condosending. It wasn't often he accepted help, and he wasn't about to let anyone think otherwise. As he finished his surprisingly satisfying meal, he discared the bag on the ground and waited for Alucin to show up.

Sin and Damo had been running for what seemed like hours. Panting Sin came to a stop hands on his knees, Damo followed suit. "I think we lost them," Sin said, still struggling to catch his breath. "Hang on I'll check" Damo closed his eyes, he had regained his mind's eye back a few blocks after the sad attempt at hand to hand combat. He couldn't find any wolves for several blocks, save one. It seemed they had caught up to Nay and Duke. "Hey I found Nayomi and Duke, they're in that warehouse right over there. With...whoa." Damo wasn't sure what to make of the newcomer, Nay and Duke seemed to be talking to them, but for some reason he showed up in color in his head. Usually everything was just a monotone blue, he could only distinguish himself by "knowing" what they were. It was weird to explain but he always knew if they were friend or foe, what they looked like, just from the small blue dots. This...thing however was a bright red.... "What's up Damo?" Sin was growing impatient. It was understandable because damo was as well. The duo ran up the fire escape and piered through the window. Sure enough there was Duke, Nayomi, and a third...omnious looking guy. "Can you get a good look at him?" Sin asked squinting into the glass, "No, he's doing a good job of hiding in the shadows. Are your powers back incase he would strike?" Sin checked them out by launching a shadowbolt into the air. "Looks good." Suddenly Damo had a sinking feeling, someone was coming. Reopening his Mind's eye he noticed 4 wolves at the front entrance, stalking those inside. "Head's up Sin, we have trouble." Damo pointed to the front of the warehouse, where the werewolves had just come into view. Though the massive doors blocked them from the others view. Damo started down the stairs but was stopped by Sin. "Hey wait, they can handle these guys. Let's wait it out and see how this plays out. Maybe we can get a feel for this new guy, and find out why Nay and Duke bailed." Damo couldn't deny Sin was right. Still they deserved to be warned, Damo focused his energy on a stack of PVC pipe near the wolves. He didn't use them to strike the wolves, instead he dropped them in to signal their approach. At once the trio inside turned to face them, Sin and Damo dropped to the ground outside the window to avoid being seen. "I wish we could see what was going on, but we can't without getting caught." Sin slapped damo in the shoulder "Damo you twit, you can." Damo's face turned red as he closed his eye and opened his mind's eye to see the fight.

You have to give "props" where props are do chibi. It's starting off too, and I'm sure going to continue to be, a funny, unique idea. The cello prank was good and I'm looking forward to seeing what else you'll throw at us.

Camelot?.or what was left of it. King Arthur is now in his later years, his dreams of an equal world shattered with the death of all of his knights. The only one to make it back alive was Lancelot. As he breathed his last breath he told his King of the misdeeds of the newest Knight of the Round table Grum. Grum was in charge of a specially trained group of cavalry, what nobody knew was he had poisoned their minds into thinking Arthur and the rest of the knights had become corrupt. In the midst of a brutal battle with the mountain dwelling barbarians to the north, the cavalry joined forces. With sheer number of enemies, and the addition of Grum?s private sorceress, Sephira, all of Arthur?s soldiers, including his knights, were killed. Arthur summoned the only remaining soldiers in Camelot. The ragtag bunch was few in numbers, but as he always did; Arthur was acting under Merlin?s direction. The old wizard had unbeknownst to anyone, not even Arthur, tied his life-force with the Kings. Meaning he was not long for this world either. As the newly promoted ?Knights? sat in awe around the legendary ?Round Table? Arthur and Merlin entered, well were rather carried in. Merlin began speaking, since Arthur had lost the power. ?Knights, Grum has decimated the armies of Camelot beyond repair,? the old wizard had to pause to cough and catch his breath; ?he will be arriving within the day to take what he believes to be his. It will be up to you to save Arthur?s Camelot, and once again restore it to its rightful place as a beacon of hope to the world.? Another coughing fit, followed by a deep wheezing, he didn?t have much time left. ?As a last act, I am bestowing you, the last of the Round Table knights, with pieces of my power. Control over the elements; Wind, Fire, Earth, Water; Control over the plants, control over the animals. You will be tasked with finding an old schoolmate of mine, I have sent him a message and he will be waiting in the village of Shal, which you will get to by traveling the underground waterways out of Camelot. The path is marked for you.? The old Wizard, fell to the floor but didn?t stop talking. ?One more thing, you will need to be on the lookout for the undead, Grum?s sorceress has made deals with all the vampire covens, necromancers, and evil spirits of the lands. They patrol everywhere, be on the lookout. And under no circumstances are you to engage Sephira, she has made deals with demons and has even surpassed me. Only that schoolmate of mine will be able to aid you in combating her. Good luck Knights?.? The old wizard muttered something in Latin, and all at once the room exploded. All the knights were bathed in a blue glow?.and all at once it was over. One last coughing fit, in this one Arthur joined in as well. As everyone watched in horror as Arthur and Merlin breathed their last breaths simultaneously. Not one person could help shedding a tear. After a long trek in the Waterways the group arrived topside in the village of Shal. Ducking from shadow to shadow, weary of anyone who could possibly be an enemy. Waiting, and looking for the old wizard to contact them. Sign-ups: Name: Age: Personality: Appearance: Weapon(s): Piece of Merlin?s Power: Did you inherit control over an element? Plant life? Animals (As a shape shifter or actually controlling them)? The power to heal wounds? Or something different? Biography:

What Martial Arts Are You Into?
Drizzt Do'urden replied to chibi-master's topic in General Discussion
I've sort've dabbled in many different martial arts. Learned the basics in a few, but have never really settled. I guess I can't find one that really...suits my tastes. In Korea I learned some of their basic "modified" Tae-Kwon-Do. Which is amazing, I probably would have stuck with that If I could find a place nearby that would teach it. I've taken a few Muay-Thai lessons, and been through three different lessons at each "karate" dojo they have in my area. I finally decided on taking the basics and creating my own. It'll be called Ty-O (My last name being Tyo). It's basically going to revolve around ground fighting, and kick boxing. But each move will end with either a beer bottle or pool que being smashed over someones head. (As my most recent "girl problem" ended with....and by the way. My inspiration came from my stitches, not from me grabbing anything) -
Though I've never really skateboareded myself (Though in some weird way I've dated a skaterchick or two) I have snowboarded (Which neither "skaterchick" I've dated has done....weird). My first time actually making it down something other than a "bunny" slope made me 10ft. Tall and bullet proof. So I tried hitting up some of the rails...needles too say OUCH. So I kept practicing over and over and over and over again. And now I can....wait for it....snowboard a lot better but still can't hit the damn rails. Moral of the story....If you don't just try the trick and practice you'll never get any better. Though you may learn to ride the skateboard down a hill faster?

Though I've never read any of his books, or heard of them for that matter. I'm always looking for a good read. Back when I used to read fantasy I read a lot of (Obviously) R.A. Salvatore's books. I got into the horror/sci-fi/mystery genre now, but I'm always looking to find an author that captures me as much as Salvatore did. If you don't mind, give me some insight to his work, (Just my opinion, but you should always open a new thread with alittle more description, this way you get on the subject of a certain aspect of Horowitz's novels you like. Then it will evolve itself to more. If you just leave the thread wide open it can make people hesitate when posting.) Once again just my opinion.

RPG Lunar Knights: Return of the Dark Sword
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Tetra of sound's topic in Theater
Jameson smiled as he heard the bugle in the distance. "Van, want to tell Rayleigh my men are almost here?. And Neige, do you have a horse? I think we need to get a move on." Jameson had no interest in being the leader. But something had to be done, if the vamps. attacked at nightfall, the guild would be laid to ruins. "Neige, they're your people. Can you think of anywhere nearby, a cave, house or anything that would house enough for an invasion? I know Dacaucus' mansion is holding a few, but not even close to enough men to try and take over the guild." Jameson swung himself onto his horse and waited for Van to return, and for Neige to answer. -
I survivied my first week of high school. :D
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Lady Aura's topic in General Discussion
Don't listen to them, college is fantastic as well. It's just the same as high school, except most teachers won't even know you exist until late in the semester/quarter. And some not at all, which is not a bad thing in the least. -
Do you have what it takes!? It seems like such a simple question on the outside. But after reading further down the page you wonder if you really DO have what it takes. You stare at the flyer; the picture in the center below the heading depicts a soldier, fighting for his life in a jungle. In the sky there are two moons, this obviously a foreign landscape. The soldier’s foe, a huge monster holding some sort of weapon that you’ve never seen. The text under the picture speaks of an opportunity. For you to “do your part”, and enlist in the galactic marines. You’ve heard of them before, genetically altered, they were the best soldiers in the world. You’ve also heard about the conflict, a planet in a distant galaxy. The first planet to be found to have what it takes for humans to exist. The united federation of earth, the one worldwide government, has funded studies that have shown if the population of earth isn’t cut in half; the earth will only have enough resources to last another 50 years. The first set of humans to hit the planet was a group of scientist. Whose soul job was to test soil, water, air, and find the best places to build the new civilization. They never made it back. The government then sent soldiers to find out what happened. The soldiers discovered a whole world inside the planet filled with creatures that looked like something straight out of a science fiction novel. Though they seemed to be all the same species, they looked significantly different. Some were over 9 foot tall, with huge tusks jutting out of their mouths. Others were small, only 3 or 4 feet tall. Interrogation of a captured “Fulucian”, the name given by the prisoner, revealed they were breed for specific purposes. The larger ones were grunts who could take round after round and keep going. The smaller ones were snipers who can hide in the smallest of areas and not be seen. Apparently there were several others for different purposes, though none of these had been contacted yet. The galactic marines were then formed, they were originally going to be breed for just combat, better than normal humans in every way. Early tests revealed this was causing…problems in their genetic structure making them…unstable. This was remedied by only choosing a few characteristics, such as our own version of the “Fulucian Method”. Snipers were given vision that was 10 times better than a normal human. Gunners were given enhanced strength, 10 times that of a normal human to allow for huge weapons. Demolitions and recon units were given speed 10 times better than normal humans. Infantry was given hearing at 10 times that; in order to serve as point men. With all these enhancements the humans were still getting slaughtered. The government decided to implement an operation, and an outcry came for a certain group of people. Only 1 person out of a million carried a trait that enable them to be infused with all these traits, the only problem being that with the democratic world government, no official would initiate a draft for fear of being impeached. The only other solution was to propagandize the military in extreme ways. Offering huge incentives, such as be the first to inhabit the new world. Your family for years to come would be housed there, kept safe and secure; never have to work again, if you were selected for the program of course. So let me ask again, do you have what it takes? Time for a final operation against the Fulucian’s, you will be selected into the program and placed upon the star cruiser “Exodus”. It will be your job to take the F-Bomb, a bomb targeted at the Unique genetic structure of the Fulucian’s into the center of the planet. And detonate it; the scientists swear it will end the war for good….hopefully. Sign-ups Name: Age: Occupation before enlisting: (You can already have been a soldier and have transferred to the operation) Personality: Appearance: Job: (Sniper, Gunner, Recon, etc. Feel free to be creative and mix-and match. I.E. Infantry/Sniper. Jack of all master-none sort of thing.) Favored Weapon: Should coincide with your job, remember this is the future. So be creative, modify current weapons, create new ones, just be descriptive if you don’t use something from this time. We are “super” soldiers, so swords or blades (again be creative) would be great backup weapons. Bio defect: Every one of the “super” soldiers has a defect of some sorts. This “defect” comes in the form of an unexpected mutation. Any supernatural power will work; just remember this is brand new, so you don’t know about it right off. Biography: Where were you when you read the flyer, what made you want to enlist, how basic/weapons training, etc. OOC: Sorry for the name, it was actually supposed to be named: Star Soldiers, but I put it in really fast. The name is actually going to be Star Soldiers once things get up and running.

Sabien smiled as Alucin walked out of the blood bath. The fighting had invigorated Sabien, and Alucin had a plan to take care of more of these....imposters. Though in reality they weren't worth his time, the fact that whoever was creating these things actually spilled the blood of pure bloods. Sabien turned to follow Alucin out calling to him. "That was some speech my friend. Is this for real?" Alucin didn't even turn around to ackowledge him. "What do you think?" Sabien stoped and smiled, this was going to be good. A chance to really utilize his powers for the first time in a century. Sure he'd use them to lure prey, but that was only to keep fresh. This would be the first time he could actually use them.... Sabien elected not to return home, he had no reason too. Everything he needed was at his disposal, his sword (which had an upside down cross shaped pommel, a symbol of satan, and a direct insult to the humans "god".), his dirk (which was the weapon he killed the vampire that turned him.), and his powers. He walked into the dark distrit, looking in everywhere for Alucin, but not finding him. I must be the first here, oh well. Might as well grab a bite before everyone gets here he thought with a smile as he saw a young man who strode into the vampire infested district. Probably on a dare from his friends, or for his own pride. Either way, he was going to make a good meal.

"Vamps killing vamps, if there were only more like you." Jameson said with a smile as he looked at Neige. He looked towards Alexander with a smile, "Reincarnation of Aaron huh? This could get interesting." "Well, its not up to me at all. But I'm sure old Rayleigh won't mind." Suddenly as if on que, Rayleigh stepped out of the main entrance with a look of terror on his face. "Taylor, how long do you think it'll take for your men to get here? We broke one of the vamps familiars and it looks like they're coming tonight." "Tonight!?" Jameson looked at Van "What do you think? My men will be here by nightfall. Do you think we should be thinking about a....pre-emptive strike?" -
Writing Jackson McGee: Dimensional Leaper
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Drizzt Do'urden's topic in Creative Works
I've already PM'd Kenso directly to answer his questions. But i thought it would be good to let anyone else who may have the same questions/criticisms. As far as the spelling/punctuation goes. I haven't been using spell check to save myself time. I wasn't sure how many people would read the story and until I knew for sure if there was/wasn't much of an interest in it, so I've been writing for me and putting my ideas on paper so to speak. Now that I have at least one peson interested I'll start being more Grammatically correct. I mentioned the chapters being rushed in the intro to my story so that really doesn't need to be said. They're going to continue to jump up until chapter 10, everything before that is really the "intro" of sorts. With the question of the character's lacking depth; since so far I'm just touching on the beginings of Jackson's life, I've just zoomed through all the characters. None of them have played their main parts yet. Especially Ben and Master Kwon, they'll be around a lot more and there "characters" will be more revealed as time goes on. Again, this story is more to get my ideas on paper. I'm not trying to make it into a novel or anything of the sorts. When I started writing short stories about Jackson McGee as a "hero" for my Nephew. I didn't even start until my Chapter 10 here, so everything up too is new for me. I do appreciate any comments regardless of how blunt they are. I will do my best to be more grammatically correct in the future, and as I said will be utilizing spell check from now on. Anyone else who wants to post any comments/criticisms, feel free to let me have it, I'll do my best to fix. Please do let me know anything you do like about it, because lets face it. If you're willing to read through 12 pages, 6500+ words. There has got to be something that kept you interested, so let me know what it is. -

As Von and Jameson walked out the main entrance, Jameson immediateally saw the female vamp and froze, Von followed in suit. Suddenly something appeared at her side. From the distance they were at Jameson couldn't quite make out what it was. Suddenly Alexander and Toasty both appeared. "Hey Ali, what's going on?" Alexander ignored him and looked at Toasty. "Hey look it's Nero. Common boss we have to go say hi." "Say hi huh?" Jameson put his hand on Cowboy and slowly started making his way towards the female vampire. He could here a click from behind, apparently Von felt the same bout the vampire being so close. Terrenial or not, they had to be ready. Jameson got within shot distance from her and pulled Cowboy, lining up his shot and at the same time yelling at the vampire. "What business do you have here vamp? And if you're working for Dacaucus I've got a message for him" Jameson cocked the hammer and waited for a response. -

Thanks for that, I have a few ideas that I think will be pretty good. Also, props on going ahead and starting this Tetra, I was kind've worried when I saw there was only three of us. But it really seems to be moving along nicely.
