The idea of Skipper being Barbie and Han Solo's love child amuses me way more than it should. I'm so gonna try and track down that skit now. I -hated- my Barbies as a child. The funny thing was, I ended up with several of them XD I liked making them clothes though. Generally, I hated dolls O_o I was always stealing my brother's toys (which is funny... because now I'm into ball jointed dolls like super dollfie *shot dead*) Anyway, in my opinion, Barbie is just a toy for kids. I don't really see her as a role model (now and when I was a child). Why don't people think of other toys as role models? If Barbie has to be modified so her boobs aren't so big, why not modify Pooh so he's not so fat? Hey, kids may look at him and go "I so wanna be big and round and have memory problems when I grow up!" or something random like that. It's just silly to think kids would look at toys as role models. And, even if they do, it's prolly just a phase that will eventually pass. Though, if you think about it... Barbie is a bit like the Hilton sisters in that she has tons of cars, clothes, and money and does like no work.

The anime is pretty much unrelated to the manga after the Valentine Brothers. Though there is a trailer for the Hellsing anime that had the Captain, Doc, and the Major (Furher?) in it... If I remember correctly O_o The Major is in it for sure ^^; I just sort of remember there being two other guys standing around. I think everyone I've talked to hates the accents XD Most of the manga characters are a lot cooler than the ones in the anime as well (like Pip and pretty much all the Nazis, Rip Van, the Captain and Schrodinger especially) I totally heart young Walter and girly Alucard though. Squee for Hellsing Dawn~ I also think that Hellsing is up to volume 7 in Japan? But I could be wrong...

I usually go to Ohayocon, Acen, and Ckon (when it happens... but I think it's totally dead now O_O) It's hard to pick a fave though T_T but the last Ckon I went to (erhm... I totally forget the year T_T 2003?) was prolly my fave cause it had the best guests ever~

Agreeing with what most everyone is saying about the swords/crosses/whatever. They seem a bit off. Lovely use of brushes, as already pointed out (ohoho~ but nice job, so I figured it was worth saying more than once) Thinning the grass out in the middle might help a bit also (since it's thin most everywhere else but seems a bit more clumped in the middle near the swords... and since the swords/whatever are already there it seems a bit cluttered to me)

I actually did this for class, but it was totally ignored and I got like no feedback O_o (though a guy in the class did start to talk about it and was totally shot down by the prof T_T argh. Yah for me XD First time mixing media like this~ *shot dead* Time = 8+ hours Note that screen tone scans horribly T_T and a lot of detail was lost, but this was about as good as I could get it without the colors looking horrible. The image is also large for the same reason, so I'm sorry if it takes a while to load >_< randomly, subject matter based on Gwen Stefani's (sp?) Harajuku girls... who don't really remind me of Harajuku O_o; and thus I did this (though I drew a boy instead of a girl cause I felt like it) I should have gotten a ruler before taking a knife to it T_T the borders are wonky. A few people suggested I do a series of these based on other fashion trends, but I'm not sure this one turned out well enough to result in a series (and, you know, screen tone isn't cheap)

Yah for the Loveless site finally launching (or perhaps I'm just not paying attention T_T) Possibly a bit random, but Bleach sort of hints at a girl/girl relationship (mostly with the girl *who's name I've forgotten* always trying to jump Orihime) Mostly there as a joke or something, I think (since Orihime totally doesn't get it and the girl is always getting the crap beat out of her by Orihime's friend... who's name I've also forgotten)... but it's there anyway. My boyfriend has been screaming for doujinshi with them in it, so I thought I'd point it out since it's currently pounded into my brain ^^; Though has anyone here seen Mirage of Blaze? I've been eyeballing the box set and know like zip about it O_o

Cute XD Seems very dramatic since you can't see her face ^^ Her arm looks a bit off though O_o I'm not even sure arms can bend like that... *attempts it* erhm... not really XD; *dies* the position of her arms seems stiff and I don't think it should be totally flat on the table like that? (unless your sis can actually do that... I am a short person and thus have short limbs so I can't do such a thing *laughs*) the foot on the leg up on the chair could use a tiny bit of fixing, but feet are mad hard to draw anyway. Anyway XD overall, very cool pic ^_^

I felt super saiyan O_O), and I think that's mostly it XD Red is my fave though~ Lucky me, I've only fried my hair once T_T I mostly just wait for the dye to fade and then dye over it rather than bleaching a hellish amount of times if I can. The change in styles from Xenosaga one to episode two totally freaked me out O_o mostly, I just miss MOMO's really big pink hair T_T and Shion's glasses... some of the new outfits are weird too (like KOS-MOS and MOMO... but Jr and chaos have pretty cool new costumes XD) but I still like Xenosaga. New system of picking skills for everyone is kinda yuck though T_T Makes everyone mostly the same, like already mentioned. I really like some of the new characters~ (like Canaan and Jin) I also really like one of the songs from the new game (it's the one they play in all the trailers XD but I don't know the name of it) I'm still really early in the game though (haha, only 8 hours in XD) But I loved the [spoiler]URTVs[/spoiler] so it's really sorta cool to learn that [spoiler] Jr/Rubedo and Albedo were conjoined twins and that Albedo was super whiney ^^; and that they all have totally different abilities... like Albedo being able to regenerate and no one else can. But much love for Gaignun/Nigredo~ He was always so serious *laughs* and I'm sure I'm spelling his name wrong T_T [/spoiler] Note to SteelAngle Somi- KOS-MOS did not have her eyes changed to blue, they are still red. [spoiler] They turn blue during certain events... mostly when she seems sort of "human" ... like in the first game when she "swallowed" the gnosis and asked Shion if feeling pain would make her human [/spoiler] *coughs* so anyway... yeah, I like the game... not sure if it's gonna be as good as I thought it was yet. Randomly... I recomend people DO NOT buy the limited edition guide with the soundtrack. Mine fell apart the moment I opened it ~_~ pages everywhere. And the CD, while it does have that song on it I like so much, isn't that great. Lucky for me, I know a guy who knows the guys at Brady and they're gonna try and get me another guide that hopefully won't die on me (which is sorta cool of them) and someone asked about the german titles? I believe they mean "The way we were made" (according to my bro who took German in highschool) and the 2nd one is something like "Beyond good and evil"... there's a second translation that's a bit different but mostly the same that sounds cooler XD; but I can't remember it at the moment.

Agreeing that the ending to Soul Reaver was lame, but the rest of the games pretty much made up for it... except for maybe the ending of Defiance, [spoiler] which pretty much leaves you with Raziel in the Soul reaver, Janos possessed by -something-, the squid burried under rocks, and Kain doing a lot of brooding about Raziel and "hope" and things T_T I will so die if that's the last game. [/spoiler] The ending to RE4 was a bit disappointing as well T_T With a game that good, you'd think the ending would've been cooler [spoiler] but you get Ashley trying to get Leon to put in some "over time", Leon angsting over Ada, and then and Leon hitting on Hunnigan ~_~ WTF? It wasn't a game about all Leon's women *dies* Though hopefully the lack of closure means another game soon XD [/spoiler]
