1. Methinks I need to replay Legend of Mana then. For some reason, it rubbed me the wrong way when I played it the first time around. Heh, raising monsters is fun!
2. It's all iced over down here too! I saw pics of the storm hitting Oklahoma, and I thought that was bad. But as I look outside right now, I see the ice here. Pretty thick stuff too. I nearly fell down twice just trying to get the newspaper. >.
3. Ok, I agree that problems could have arisen from mislabelled organs, but whether or not the girl was brain dead, the hospital was told to WAIT. And they willing went against what they were told to do. So the wrong organ transplant is bad, but going against the family's wishes...that just isn't right. But now we understand why doctors and hospitals cost so much, because of incidents like this. Whether this could have had a different outcome...we will never know. Sue away, my friends, you deserve to. But it won't bring her back...
4. Auron? *drools* I like it, but what bugs me is how Vash is suddenly cut off at the top and bottom in the center. Which means either a border, or more prominent dropshadows. And I see nary a thing wrong with the blur. A little rough on the eyes at first, but I like it.
5. *waves a small white flag* Me very very towwy. I believe, if you have the reg magic meter, it's the whole meter. Which means half on the upgraded one. If so.... What color is the Book of Mudora?

*Victory fingers* I inadvertantly started a club, how 'bout that? I expect someone to let me know the minute they know when FF:X-2 is coming out. And then I expect them to tell me. I wanna see who that Auron/Seymour hybrid wanna be is and what his story is.
7. Yeah, I'll take that. I remember the Imp Kid not understanding why the Giants had to go off to protect the four areas as well. Bonus just gets you a cookie with a smilie face on it. ;) Go for it, DessyLu! *hides and dies laughing*
8. OK, maybe I'm just totally under a rock here, but who is that chara?!? I see her all the time in Tori's stuff, yes, but...who is she? Dang, the full image is pretty. *saves it*
9. *blinks slowly* You know, I was waiting for Sara to see this thread. And now... *blinks again, quite slowly* A new trend. *blinks eeeeever so slowly* ...but I'm a WinPCer!
10. With every passing moment, I'm liking it more. And for some reason, it reminds me of those old 3D comics with the glasses you got with them to see the effect. My only complaint is that this seems remarkably tame for you, TN. :p
11. Li-QUID Li-QUID Li-QUID-- THUD! *is hit with giant rock that says "SPAM"*
12. Puck stepped back into the lower level of the yacht, still holding Alexander protectively and glancing out the deck's hatch. In his arms, the baby eyed his mentor, and adopted a half scared, half puzzled look. Behind him, David and Fox Xanatos watched nervously; Elisa was closer to the hatch, keeping an eye out for any attackers, her gun warming in her hand. An unearthy bellow tore the air; Elisa laughed without mirth. "That'd be Goliath, easily." In the storage room, Demona heard it too. What had always infuriated her was that, with Goliath's cries, you could never tell if they were from pain, anger, or just the thrill of battle. Some deep stirring urged her to join the fight, if not for Goliath's sake, at least for the sake of the Wyvern clan. She had to warn them of the traitorous Captain, she had to convince her younger self to save them all! Before she could gallop out the door, the door itself flew open, and a shaft of moonlight fell through the opening. Demona hid again. "Oh, but why can't I join in the fun?" Puck whined. "Because Oberon charged you with protecting my son," Xanatos shot back. "And there's that little rule about not meddling in mortals' affairs. Don't take that lightly, and don't that I will either." Alexander gurgled as Xanatos pulled the door close again. Strangely enough, the darkness did not bother the babe, and Alex reached up to pat Puck's neck with his tiny chubby hand, as if to comfort his mentor from the things that may go bump in the night. Puck sighed. "Thanks, kid, really...but..." He looked wistfully at the door. "I could cause so much havoc out there it's not even funny." He could feel the buzzing from earlier growing stronger in here, and decided to investigate, still chatting with the baby. "Say, I wonder if that meddling rule applies to you, what with you being a mixed breed." Alexander frowned at him. "Hey, easy there, kiddo! What I meant was you can blend in easily as a human, and still have the fun of being all powerful!" Alexander frowned harder. "Whaaaat?!" Puck asked. Alexander grunted...and his diaper was suddenly a lot warmer. Puck just about shriveled into nothingness, he was so disgusted. "Oh no nononononono! Puck don't do diapers! YEESH! And they wonder why I keep Owen around." Holding the fidgeting babe at arms' length, Puck did a neat flip and turned back into Owen. Owen slightly raised one eyebrow at the odor. "I do not appreciate this," he told his alter ego, now deep within himself, as far as possible from soiled diapers. The buzzing, tingling sensation had stopped. Demona's ears pricked up at the sound of Burnett's voice. She fumbled in her side pouch for the Full Moon Nigh and attempted to catch sight of him in the globule without being seen herself. "Estuans interious ira vehementi..." She crept from behind the darkened boxes, slinking closer to the crates by the door. "Venias sors immanis et inanis..." Owen was bending toward one small compartment in the wall; it held an emergency diaper bag. The major domo had planned for everything. "Inferi Puck et Owen suus maledictio--" As he straightened up, his warped reflection appeared in the crystal globule; it glowed brightly, and something akin to white lightning shot out. "--Inferi luna rotundus!" Instinctively, Owen threw himself over Alexander, being exactly the target Demona needed. The major domo had planned for everything...except this. Owen's glasses hummed loudly with the magical energy coursing through them. They sparked sporatically and the lenses began to melt out of the rims. Owen snapped his head down to knock them off, and they clattered harmlessly to one side, away from Alexander. The baby watched in panic as Owen's eyes, already alien without their familiar spectacles, widened beyond Owen proportions. The pale blue eyes turned paler, and paler still, till they were almost white. And then the white began to glow with a light of its own. Owen clenched his teeth in unspoken pain as the Full Moon Nigh continued its assault on his person. He swore inwardly at Puck, that the trickster hadn't been quicker to find the artifact. Whatever this was, it was magic. The problem was, Demona had mixed an Avalon artifact with human magic, and that was always riddled with horrible results. Best to ride it out and discover what was going on. It didn't take long. His shoulderblades itched terribly; the itch quickly escalated to fiery streaks of pain, and the Owen Burnett, still mentally back in the Eyrie Building, was calmly begrudging the fact that he had just torn one of his more expensive Armani suits. In an unfamiliar sense of feral indignation, he scratched at the tile floor to block out the pain...and instead scored it deeply with his new talons. Still in excrutiating pain, still transforming, he turned on Demona, who he sensed in an instant, and roared his fury. Completely ignoring Alexander, he leapt at her. With a wildcat scream, she sprung backwards, her eyes glowing blood red. Dodging around the transforming human, she tackled the door, and busted it down, much to David, Fox, and Elisa's horror. "Demona's here!" Elisa cried out. "Thank you for being so perceptive!" Xanatos snapped. Elisa ignored him and trained her gun on the gargoyle's head, in case Demona wanted to wear out her welcome. There was no fear of that as the azure gargoyle stomped to the end of the yacht, and sprung into the air. With a surprisingly calm motion, Elisa reholstered her gun. Then she slowly turned to face Xanatos. "I knew you wouldn't change!" the detective hollered as she got in his face. "It's either that, or you're completely ignorant!" "How was I supposed to know Demona was on board?" David yelled back, stung by her lack of faith in him, stung worse by his lack of not knowing. "You have so much freaking security that you--" A baby's wail cut them off short. "Oh my God," Fox breathed, "Alexander!" The trio rushed into the storage room, David pausing only to back out for a fresh breath of air. "Well, now I know why Demona was in such a hurry to get out." "David!" Fox snapped with a mother's vengance. "This is no time to joke!" "Puck? Owen?" "Uhhhnnn..." Owen was stretched out on his side, his normally straight hair flying in all directions. His glasses lay partly melted to one side, and his clothing was torn. He traded questioning glances with the Xanatos' fearful ones, and quickly looked for Alexander. The baby was crying fitfully, cradled in his stone arm. "Oh Alex!" Fox nearly sobbed, clutching at her baby. "You're ok!" David looked at Owen with concern. "Are you?" "I..." The majordomo faltered. He eyed the tatters of his clothes and his now-useless spectacles with puzzlement. "You'll forgive me if I am without a solid answer, sir..."
13. We're gonna get spammy until he does, I fear! :bluesweat *stares at Sara* No....way! *pulls out her WORLD'S LARGEST NERF BAT (since the ModRod was retired)* Someone's gonna suffer for brainwashing her!!! *sees Sara staring at her* Sara: Um...I don't know her. Yeesh, you people were all gung-ho over Takari years ago! What happened?!? Anyways....*waits for next chapter*
14. Mmmm, hypothetical questions, Sar? :) In theory, I wouldn't. In theory, I know others wouldn't do it for me if I asked. But then, I've never been in the situation, really. I could form a better opinion if I did. There's been a few times when they asked me to lie to them was unspoken, but clearly there. And in tense, emotional times, it depends on whether the lie would carry them on a little further through the time...or break them completely. But them knowing it's a lie...it's different than them not knowing it's a lie. I mean, why ask someone to lie to you in the first place if you know it's a lie. Whether you try to play like the lie is the truth, albeit for a short time, the truth, as mentioned, is still out there. And knowing that what you are holding onto at the moment isn't the truth--it just messes with it completely. There's no comfort in that. Here's to another post that made sense. :drunk:

new ff games

As far as FF going "stale", I think we all need to remember that Square is always reaching out for new players. The series aren't being made for us veterans alone. I try to approach each game as if it were my first. Naturally, as the game plays out (pun intended), it shapes my opinion. Graphics, music, storyline, controls, gameplay itself (not in that order, mind :)). Heh, I guess that's why my opinions of games tend to differ from some of yours. *points at Sem* You don't agree with me--you're going to Gamer Hell!!! *laughs* Oh, that was a classic AIM line. Hee hee hee, j/k, of course, my dear Semjaza. ;) Though I agree with most when I say FF8 had to be one of the most wretched of the series. Back on topic now: I cannot WAIT for FF: X-2...even if Auron's not in it...:bawl: (*is playing FFX again, and going gaga over Auron again*)
16. *sings* Angel wings are pretty things ...but I hate anti-aliasing. >.
17. So, are we talking Paintball like pain, or just getting a little too wild and running into something pain? While I'm not wild about bruises, or someone else swinging a large knife like thing at me, I still want to learn. Lots. Heh, I am so weird.
18. All I really want to say is that the Magic Wand is PERFECT in eliminating "coloring outside the lines" (cotl) syndrome. Unless that is the look one wants. :bluesweat Generally, what I like to do is take my scanned b/w outline drawing, then press Ctrl+L. That'll bring up the Levels window. Adjust as needed to make your lines uniformly as dark as you want. Then use the color selector (eyedropped the lines' color), and under the Select menu, pick "Select Color Range". Another window brings you a view of what gets selected. I like to select that and copy the lines to a new file. From here, you can select certain areas of the image with the Magic Wand. While still selected, I tend to go to Select-->Modify-->Expand, with a pixel level of 1. This will make your selection areas just large enough to "fit" under your outlines, and eliminate any white aliasing you may get. Keep the area selected! Not only can you fill in with Paint Bucket here, you can also paint in your shadows, and again, no cotl syndrome. My secrets...revealed. Sigh. Heh. I'm done. *hops down and goes to make art*
19. I still want to learn fencing someday, if for no other reason than to live out my fantasy dreams. Heh. Me like swords. ^^; Seriously, though, I really would like to learn. But could someone tell me about what kind of injuries you can get doing that? Puck: WIMP! Me: Oh shut up you. :cross:
20. Yeah, I agree...it looks awfully washed out. And the text is unbalanced, kinda all over the place. OHHHHMMMMMMM....balance your banners....OHHHHMMMMMMM *gets thwacked* Like the quote, though. And the background itself.
21. Purple oil and burnt orange peel. Whoa...is this what people seen when they are high? oO; OK, j/k, honestly! But yeah, you need just a tad more control over your color scheme. And magenta tends to turn people away. Keep trying, though! Practice does you good.
22. Heh, don't get the Daikari lovers started. I say Light and Hope, silver and gold, and angels of a feather all belong together. *And is instantly trampled by the Daikari lovers* Oy, heh.
23. Weeeeeeell, lemme put it this way: karma is some people's way of explaining stuff they can't explain. It seems a tad too convinent for me--much like saying unexplainable recoveries are an act of God. Do I believe in it? Heh, do you really need to ask me that? For every action, yeah, you're gonna get an equal and opposite one, in this life. But I don't believe in reincarnation, so I guess the whole karma thing doesn't float with me either. Unless I am confused about the connection between those two there. In which case, karma is just another word for someone somewhere getting even. *waits for someone to tell her she's stupid, ignorant, wrong, etc etc etc, for having a different view* OK, Ginny'll stop now. :p  :D
24. Um, maybe I'm cynical or something--the game was great, but something felt like it was missing. It was like there was something I was still waiting to have happen. Can't explain it too well. Though I was exposed to FFX right before KHs. That might've killed part of it. And now I learn NEVER to assume about a game, because I made up all this little levels and storylines and everything to go along with the scenes and images I kept seeing on the Net and on TV. Or maybe it's because I hate-- *quails beneath stern looks* --ah, dislike Disney. I guess maybe KHs was too kiddish for me? *freezes* Dang. There's something I thought I'd NEVER say. :bawl: Here's to the shway looking sequel, whenever it comes.

Duuuuuuude, quit with the buuuuuuuddy, thing. :bluesweat OK, I'm looking forward to Origins. Should be nice to see how it all started. I do hope it is better than that frigging "Mystic Quest" deal. *blows that cartridge up*
