1. Tchaikovsy Owns My Soul!!!! I don't know why...it just does.
 2. Boys Be Completed On par with Kare Kano and Boys over Flowers. In some ways it was infinitely better than both of them. I Love this show madly. If only it was longer.
 3.
And now that I've gone on way to long... I'm listening to Tchaikovsky Piano concerto No.1 that you mentioned Panache. Great piece really. Heh.
Glad you like. This was the first Tchaikovsky piece I ever listened to. I think I will get me so more at some point. As of now I am listening to crank that Calvary Boy. Which is essentially a screamo mockery of all those dumb soulja boy songs. It is riiiiich because my friends actually do like these crappy songs.(To be fair I like crank that homeless man but that is only because I think homeless people are inherently funny as hell). Oh and I thought you were using influenced in a different way. Lie grunge musicians were actively trying you make their music sound like classical music. You can see where I get confused...
And J.S. Bach
I helped a friend on a report on him. It was actually kind of interesting. Even though most of the terminology used went right over my head. I have no understanding of classical music terms.
 4. I am listening to Seven Angels Seven Plagues. I really like it even though it is sorta generic.
 5. Tchaikovsky Piano concerto No.1 Excellent stuff
 6.
Ugh classical music besides Beethoven makes me cringe... bleck! XP
Surely you can't mean as a whole? I think I am confused here...are you guys saying that grunge was heavily influenced by classical music? If so how? I don't see it at all... Anyway I am listening to Don't Leave me now by Pink Floyd. Really trippy awesome stuff.
 7. Meh I may look into it more. But it wasn't just the vocals that put me off. I think Swallow the Sun does what these guys are trying to do much better. But then that is just one mans opinion. They're pretty successful right? And I am really digging this Cat Power song Don't Explain. She has a really strong yet sad voice. It's empowering yet sorrowful. I really like this group a lot.
 8.
SHAMEFUL! What song did you listen to that seems boring?
Planet Hell and Nemo. It usually takes me to be in a specific mood to listen to things like this but I don't imagine I would enjoy it even then. It just seemed really bland overall. At least I gave it a chance right? I finally got around to listening to Five Finger Death Punch. their vocalist is really hit or miss. Sometimes his vocals are really good. The other times he sounds like an angry Grover from sesame street. But their guitarist is really realyl skilled. I love him. Good rec Sound Nin!
 9. So all this talk of Nightwish made me wanna hear them. Overall they are pretty disappointing for me. Their sort of classical metal mix seems really boring to me. very dull. I also really don't like this singer. She is just very bland. Her voice reminds me of like...an old school opera singer or something. *starts listening to seether some more*
 10. So I just purchased three new Cd's. Boy Hits Car-The Passage I haven't heard all of this as of yet. but I have heard other songs from them in the past. They have a very eastern sound to them. Their bassist is really talented and their vocals fit well with the songs. I also enjoy the lyrics a lot. The guitar is sort of bland at times but overall they are a really great band and so far this album is very good. Seether-Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces This isn't as hard as it used to be. Even though that's the case I still really enjoy it. It seems more grungy and h4artfelt. Also the lyrics are really good. Cat Power-Jukebox This is a really great album. This singer has an amazingly soulful voice. Also her band brings a sort of radiohead feel to everything. the whole feel of it is sorta jazzy and folksy. This is probably one of the best bands with a female lead I have heard in a long while. Overall I am happy with my purchases.
 11.
It sounds pretty thrash-y to me, or hardcore. But I'm not very good with genres. I'd say Thrash, though. Whatever it is, it sounds good.
Aight I might give it a look then.
 12.
;808157']Right now it's on White Knuckles by Five Finger Death Punch. When I first heard the band name I was thinking it was well... a lame band. But now they're one of my favourites. Whenever I hear a guitarist with actual talent, I smile. It's not easy to find these days. Don't get me wrong, I like catchy riffs as much as the next guy. But there's just something about music you can listen to in complete awe. I'm also listening to Bright Eyes. Completely different genre, but that's how I am. So anyway, I completely recommend the aforementioned song.
What type of music is that? I might check it out.
 13. Vivaldi's four seasons Summer and Winter It's nice to listen to this while your strolling outside. Very serene stuff.
 14.
I won't lie, that is some head-bangin' rhythms. The kind of head-bangin' my avatar is doing, incidentally. Does anyone have an ear band-aid? Sad, since the name makes me think of:
Nice one Ace.
What are you trying to prove with this thread?
Uh nothing really. Just showing some of my local music...which happens to be horrible but was OK at some point. Do I have to be proving something?
 15. Boys Be 1-6 Man this animation is really terrible. Also some of these characters are uber cheesy. But the overall greatness of the characters and story make up for it. The way they portray the men is second to none in my opinion.
 16.
Would I really use the phrase "pleasurable experience" if I were being serious? lol
Most definitely.
Regardless, there's not a whole lot of high-quality mainstream stuff out there right now; so if "Go-go" is getting popular, judging from the general taste of society I'd hazard that it was called something completely different back then, and was probably a lot better. Surely there was more effort at originality.
Well it's getting popular in my slum of a city. And it was called go-go back in the day too. These new ****s are just raping the name and shoving its face in the dirt. Oh and I talked to some of my dumb **** friends and they insist that old go-go is crap and this new ******** is the greatest thing ever. This was the first time I seriously shoving a sharpened pencil into someones eye.
 17. Well I looked into this music genre to see how it actually survived. Apparently it is just as old as hip hop and only just recently has it been turned into this monolith to ignorance. 80's apparently was it's golden era. Actually this old stuff is pretty damn good. It's like jazz+funk. How the hell is this ******** and old chuck brown in the same genre?
 18. EA shoved their bfg directly up Jack Thompsons bfa. Nice E-PWN EA.
 19.
Haha, it might be a cardinal sin, but I have been listening to the entire Smash Mouth album from 1999 the last few days. Not too bad.
Y'know as boring and disghusting as I find Smash Mouth I admire you for having the balls to say you like them.
 20. So I managed to get my greasy mits on more Children of the Anachronistic dynasty. WOW I got this great song called left down and up. It is by far the most amazing song I have heard thus far. Any fan of MJK should really check out this stuff.
 21.
I found that a very pleasurable experience for my ears.
Holy ****** moses. Your being sarcastic right?
 22.
I survived 5 seconds of that stuff. How long did you guys last?
Wow that long? That's quite some endurance you've got.
 23. Well in the past few years of my enrollment in school I have noticed a genre of music. It is called Go-Go. In the past few years people have been talking about it more and more and more people are going to parties where these GO-GO "bands" perform their "Music." This year I became curious what all the fuss was. This is what I found. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=183878863 PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT KILL YOURSELF AFTER LISTENING TO THIS! I know the temptation is there but resist it. So um how the hell could anyone actually enjoy this? (The kids at my school say that the "band" above is far better than anything in the rock genre...)
 24.
In your case, I think I'd have to disagree. Sorry, bucko. =P
Epic Burnz!! *high five* Anyway kick the dude in the head and don't fight the chick. Not because of any of that honor ******** but because she can kick your ***. Did I say ***? I meant nuts.
 25.
They have Norma Jean and As I Lay Dying in the new one, which comes as a surprise to me.
I've seen As I Lay dying Albums at target. They are really mainstream. Like almost as much as killswitch if not more. Rocco DeLuca and the Burden I love their sound. Their vocalist reminds me of the lead signer of blind melon. The drums are really nice too. The guitar and bass are decent but nothing spectacular.
