I knew you were 21 from some intuitional knowledge (I looked at your profile :p)
Originally posted by Rick Hunter Hmm not only am I feeling really old but also really small  Name: Kevin Perez. 2. Hell yes. I love LoTR and anything Tolkien!
3. I wouldn't edit any game. It's a work of art, and shouldn't be messed around with and changed no matter how horrible it is. Art is what it should be.
Originally posted by gokents I would make it so once you beat socom once, you get a free mission select. Do you get that option if you beat it twice or something? anybody, anybody? Id also take the chacobo racing out of ff7, and Id let clouds girl live, i think her name was aries or something.
Dude, Aeris's death was one of the best moments in video game history ever. It added compassion and love to the story of Final Fantasy 7, and was a big shock.
Originally posted by Queen Asuka Now come on, if Vegeta knew you were calling him Veggie, don't you think he'd get just a little mad? ;) Anywho, well, we ARE talking about things that are overdone and annoying. *CoughDBZcough*
*cough* *hack* *cough* *hack...DBZ...*cough* *hack* *cough* *hack. Yes we certainly are. And rocker, we're just doing what you told us to do-talk about overdone and annoying animes--so yeh :p
5. This was one of the blandest, stupidest, most boring series I've ever laid my eyes on. I could barely stand to watch it, it was like torture....yeh. It had way way way way way way way (enough way's for ya) to much dry talking...and it just seemed really really stupid to me. It's like a clone of EVA gone super de duper bad.
6. Ah, yes, real name. *smacks self repeatedly* that would be Mitchell Smith if you want the last name as well :nervous: Oh, and Son Goten, understand that if you don't like a topic, you don't have to reply. Usually if you're going to say something negative, don't say anything at all. Toodles. ;)
7. Well, this is sad news so truthfully indeed. But, it's going to be like this more often as Bush moves on trying to destroy Iraq. It's pretty stupid of Bush, even dumber that the senate actually voted for bush to have that military action. I don't know all to much about Indonesia or Australia, I will admit, but I still can understand at least one hundred people died, and numerous were injured. Bush is an idiot. He lets his cabinet rule out all of his decisions.
8. Very nice. I liked how you used And what do I find? numerous times, it added fluid rhythm to the entire poem. I want to see more...
9. Ah, this has happend to me as well. Not with Cds but with cartriges. Like when I was playing FF2, and the game just froze and then it also erased my game. That really sucked. Same thing with FF3, froze and erased my saved game. Really pisses you off :cussing:
10. It's good. But not your best. It just doesn't flow as readily and as easily as your earlier works. But, it is still a good poem. Just keep at it!
11. I have yet to read any of his books, but from what I have heard about, he seemed like a good man. He died of lung cancer, eh? Well, sometimes people die, especially from cancer, even though it's sad, it happens for a reason.

The job system is innovative, to an extent that is. But certainly it is quite neat. I really like Tactics for the job system. But I've never played 5.

Well, I just bought it a while ago. Haven't started on it yet, but I will certainly do so soon. Wish me luck and all that stuff ;)

15. When the edge seems so easy to fall and you just can't feel anything at all don't give up stand just right on up even if you have to crawl and make your way back up that hill and don't you ever flaunt to stop and let some time kill because when the edge does become thin then that's when you lose it all in sin if you can't make it back from that edge then never will you see the true light within ye

Kingdom Hearts

Hmm, this game sounds good. I think I'm going to use some of my Birthday money to buy it. Anything Final Fantasy, and I'm there -_~
18. After I had reclaimed my thrown, I had my puny workers construct me my own statue, which stood tall enough for all in Lalaranth to see. It was an exact replica of me, stunningly crisp and exact, beautiful in its own marvel. I then had Beatorn's sword re-forged, and named it Gurblan. Everything seemed to be becoming back to the way it was. My people despised me, always revolting. I married a new wife, and had childern from which to pass on my lineage. Everything seemed normal. Almost to normal. Until after ruiling my kingdom for twenty years more there came a messenger which would change the very course of my eternal life. It was on that fateful, rainy, hell ridden day that all was truly revealed to me. And it is on that day that I will soon speak of.

Chris fell onto the floor, a loud crash ringing in everyones ears as he did. It seemed like Chris was going to make it. They all hoped so. After fifteen minutes, Chris regained consciousness. He slowly stood up, still grasping his injured arm. Chris: Looks like I made it, guys. We sure as hell got lucky... The group glares at Chris, a look of relief replacing the tension. Pac-Man: Well, we should get going. We need to find out what's going on here. Megaman X: All right then, on we go. TJ and Earl: Alrighty dudes, lez move on!
20. Ah, yes I remember that. I didn't know that it was called the minimize opition though, lol. I really didn't find it all that useful myself truthfully, though.
21. As some of you know, today is my birthday. So I bought Timesplitters 2 the other day. I haven't had that much time to play it thus far, but from what I have played, I have found it very enjoyable. The graphics are much better than the first, and the weapons and levels are more improved as well. So, I was wondering what others thought of this game?
22.
Originally posted by Phantom The following is a quote that yes indeed, I wrote...It might, let you glimpse into the oddesy(sp? itz late sorry) of my mind... Pain? Pain isnt real, it is merely the fabrication of your wildest nightmare in practical application. M.S. Hunter
That last part is the part that made this quote very good. Nice again, Phantom.
23. I'd say I'm maybe a little above average, but I've still got lots of kinks to work out in my writing style until I find it. I really enjoy text-based roleplaying. It allows me to be very creative.
24.
Originally posted by \¤~NoodleZ~¤/ Is that really true? If it is, prove it. If you had a child and figured out that in Math that day they were going to have a substitute that had been in jail before because of murder, would you still allow your kid to go to school that day? Now you may say yes just to defend your point but really tell me a reason why. Would you risk your kid going to class and possibly something happening just because you believe that know matter how evil someone was they still had some good in their heart? Now I know schools wouldn't allow people like that to teach or go anywhere near kids, but I am just asking as a "what-if?". If I find anything else I will post it later.
NoodleZ, I think that is a rather unbalanced example, but I will tell you the truth about it. Even a murderer has a good side to them, even if you can't understand just the principal of that. Because you have to understand that a murderer is a person to, only they have done something which is a great sin and of very wrong. But still, they are human. And all humans have at least one moment in their lives done something out of good will or out of good consience. It is in our human nature to be good people, but some just choose to leave it behind, buried deep within hate and prejudice. Now to answer the question which you asked. No, truthfully, if I had a child, I would not let them go to school if a murderer was to be the substitute. It would go against my moral beliefs, and what I think is right for my child. There, hope that answered your questions.
25. Beatorn stood long and hard staring acrimoniously at me, his great sword shimmering in his out spread hand. After what must have been eternity he finally stopped his staring, and gave me a sharply edged grin, and began speaking once more: Beatorn: So, are you up to the challenge, or are you going to be a coward and use that damned amulet again like last time? His voice seemed to taunt me, make me feral with an uncouth anger which I could barely seem to contain. Gurthang: This time it is to the death, knight! I felt my anger snap away as the feralty of my mind crackled into an explosion of hate. I pumped my legs and quickly ran up to Beatorn, holding my sword out, preparing to let steel become infliction. As I sliced a wild slice, he easily dodged it as if I were only moving the speed of a sloth. He then counter attacked in a blurr of motion. I reacted just in time, jousting quickly out of the way of his sword. I felt the the blade swipe the air less than an inch from my waist. We then stood face to face, and still he gave me that malevolent smirk. I could now barely control my feral anger. It seemed at any moment it would turn into an insanity which I must quell only by destroying the one which I hate. Beatorn. As I fed strength back into my limbs, letting out an uncontrolable temerity, I swung a wild swing again at Beatorn. It seemed luck stood showering me then, as if it was a part of me for once. The blade sliced Beatorn, replaying again and again deep into the blackness of my heart. It seemed I lived that moment for longer than I truly did. It was one of the greatest feelings and moments I have ever experience in my life. The beatuful smell of his bloodshed, his echoing cry, his deathly eyes peering out with a fear sharper than the blade of any weapon, him breathing his very last dieing breaths. Oh, it was pure pleasure for me. Pure pleasure in every way I can concieve. Pureness in the purest form. After he had died, I drank the nectar of his life. The very essence of his form. I drank him dry to the drop, savoring the bitter sweet glory of every sip, every gulp, every taste. And after I had done that, I proclaimed the thrown which was my birth right once more.
