What are you in, high school? To tell you the truth, I'd let the girl ask him first, because it seems to me what is morally correct. Really, you aren't going to find the person that you are going to spend your entire life with in high school, so I wouldn't fret over some little crush one has in just high school. Because really I myself don't think I will begin dating seriously until I'm in college maybe, then people will be more mature. Although some people are pretty mature, some aren't.

There is a rather similar thread which has already brought up some of these same annoyances of school ect.It is also rather recent. To go to it, go here.

No, I think this is practical in this forum since it may cover more than just DBZ action figures. Although I think this will cause rather dry discussion, I will allow it to be kept open, since it does not break any rules.

I'll make up my own version when I get some time and post it on up here. It might be some time before I get it up here since this Saturday is my Birth Day, but I will add it.

Gurthang's eyes slowly creaked open. He stood up slowly, viewing the desolation. Bodies lay strewn about, populating the ground as if they were lifeless puppets. Gurthang could barely believe he was alive, so much that at first it seemed that everything that had happened to him up to this point seemed like it was just a dream. But it wasn't, certainly it wasn't. He looked up towards the sky. The giant ship which had edged the sky was gone, now replaced with a thickly flowing smoke which caused the usually sun lit sky to be an unwelcoming, vapid, gray. The air smelled faintly of smoke, just a hint, but something more. Gurthang stopped looking at the sky, realizing his fear was gone, now replaced with a sense of dreariness and loneliness. He looked at the crackled ground, and spotted his automatic. He bent down and picked it up, examining it. The bullets were gone. Finding it useless, he threw it back onto the scornful ground, and proceeded to search his marine uniform. His hand hit the cold steel, and he yanked the weapon out of his pocket, placing a small dagger into his hand. He then decided he would search for any survivors, so he began to walk a slow walk. Soon thereafter he heard a faint rustling sound which caught his attention. He walked towards it, identifying the maker of the noise. It was a marine. The man slowly got to his feet, wobbling unevenly. The man began to lose his balance, and fell forwards. Gurthang caught him, gazing into the man's hazy, dream-like eyes. The man looked like he had been through hell and back. Which, Gurthang supposed, was partly true, at least. It looked like he had gotten as much luck as Gurthang, though. Gurthang: You okay, man? The man's eyes sharpened upon Gurthang speaking, a sharpness so sharp that it looked like it could have been pain. It probably was, too. As the man's eyes glared sharply at Gurthang, his mouth began to move. Slowly at first, as if warming up, then faster. Man: I'm fine. The man said, articulating succinctly. Gurthang: Glad ta hear it. What yo' name? Again the man's mouth opened slowly, then moved faster. Man: Name's Illuvatar, call me Ill if you'd like. Gurthang: Gurthang here. Nice ta meet ya. Gurthang swiftly held out a shaky hand, and Illuvatar stolidly accepted it. Illuvatar: Nice to meet you, too. So you're a marine to, huh? Gurthang: Sure as sam hell am. Illuvatar: Sure was one damn hella fight, wasn't it? Gurthang: Sure as hell it was. Thought I'da be dead right 'bout now. I'd be damned 'thout luck. So, ya think dere's 'ny survivors other'n us? Illuvatar: There has to be. Hell, it's worth a try. Let's check around. You go over there, and I'll check 'round here, all right? He said, pointing. Gurthang: Sure. We checks back in half'n hour, 'kay? Illuvatar: Yup. Half an hour.
Originally posted by \¤~NoodleZ~¤/ Wow, thread right on time. Well what I mean by that is that this something just happened yesterday in math. Well before I say anything I don't have anything against gay people. But our substitute was gay. You could just tell by his voice and his hand move-ments whenever he talked. Well the class before our class told us that he was saying that he was married to a guy named Brian and they had a kid and telling them that they mixed their sperm together and gave it to this lady and she had the baby for them. Well anyway after that class another math teach told us to write anything on a piece of paper that we thought was unapropriate(spel?) that he said. After we did she told us that she was going to make sure that he never taught in any other school and was never around any children.
Sounds like students and staff at your school are rather prejudiced and biased. Just because someone is gay by no means means that they are a bad person. Everyone is a good person deep down even if you can't notice it. No matter how evil someone is they are still good at heart. I mean we are all human. Not letting someone work at a job because of their sexual preference is just as bad as what we did to the african americans.

Beatorn stood high and mighty, sitting upon the royal thrown which he had stolen from me. I had killed all of the guards guarding the bowels of Bangand easily enough. But nothing is easy once you become knowing of it. Beatorn turned his ingnorant face towards me, a smirk upon it which made me just want to slap it off. But that would come later, I would have to wait. Beatorn made signal with his hands, and some elite guards approached me. I agiley pulled out my broad sword and killed all of them. Beatorn was a fool if he believed this simple humans were a match for me. Beatorn: Ahh, I see you have grown strong, my friend. He said snobbily to me. Gurthang: Hah, at least I am not the one who is the coward, knight. He then stood up stolidly and slowly, as if he had all the time in the world to deal with me. Well I can deal and recieve. He then proceeded to pull out his great paladin sword, Beranor, still taking his time as if it would last forever. The sword was forged specially for vampires. Upon infliction of wound by it, it would burn at my skin, slowly poisining my body as it heated my entire body into nothing but a pudding. Last time I had almost been destroyed by this sword, but this time I wasn't going to lose. This time would be different.
Originally posted by genkai_yyh hm... tension..... he's right you know, animelover.... it is a matter of opinion. and it seems you are trying to force YOUR opinions on him.he said that he thinks the serial killer is awesome. he didn't say anything about your situation. it is possible that, under the circumstances you mentioned, he would no longer have this opinion, but, maybe he would. maybe right after he was shot he would say "I LOVE YOU, PERSON WHO SHOT ME!!!!!!!!!" i mean, really. ou never said you thought he wouldn't, but from the first sentence, "let me give you a situation, my friend", i think i know what kind of voice your saying that in. this here, is PURELY MY OPINION. heh. oh, and congratulations, if you werent a mod, you'd be a member!!! YAY!(not sarcastic, mind you)
I'm just trying to see if what he believes goes so deep that it is no longer an opinion but what he truly believes in all concepts to be a distorted truth. I see his point of view, in some ways. He is admiring this person for what they can do kill people and snipe without getting stopped by the law. I was not being sarcastic when I said "let me give you a situation, my friend," I'm just trying to see how deep his so called respects ect. go towards this sniper. I'm trying to see if truly he does live for murder, to watch it and see it. I'm just trying to see.
Originally posted by gokents these people are posting on the net, and therefore feel dis-connected from the real world. DK is just a (fill in your own insult) that would never say such outlandish things if we were all speaking to each other in person. --------------------------------------- side note: the sniper/coward left a clue finally, one of those totally avoidable clues. a terah card, the death one. with a short message to mr.police man... Im not sure what it said but I understand it was to the likes of-I am god. sorta sounds like something DK would say. oh well. and sorry if I seem a bit rough but I dont stand for this bogus stuff DK is putting up.
Yes, this is partly true, in some ways. He may be hiding behind his facade, able to say as he wants without repute on the net. But I truly believe what he is saying is his true thoughts on the subjects, no matter how unrealistical they are.
Originally posted by DeathKnight Actually, like everything else, right and wrong is all opinon Like to you, murder is 'wrong', as it is with most of the population. But to me, murder isnt 'wrong'. Nothing is wrong with me, its just my opinon. ^_^
Ok, let me give you a situation my friend. If you were to be faced with your own murder, and were able to survive, barely, being almost killed by bullet, by the very sniper who has been doing this recent killings, would you still think he was so 'cool' and what he was doing is 'right'? Purely your opinion on this matter. Just give the truth.

It's called prejudice, people. Learn to live with it. Because it'll be around till you can't comprehend it anymore. As others have said, if someone dislikes you because you like something which they hate, then obviously, they aren't your friend. A true friend would give his/her opinion on the subject, and leave it there. Not go as far as to discriminate and let their opinion rule our what they think of another.

The Earth seemed to be shaking. Only it was much more than shaking, it seemed more like crashing. The goverment had called into action all remaining marines to take what was left and try to make it into something. It seemed to Gurthang that they had no chance against this so called alien race. But chances were to be taken, he supposed. The fighting had grown steadily more intense, as the Earth became more and more destructed. It seemed like the planet was going to become nothing at any second. Flame spewed out of the ground in intermmitent intervals all around. Smoke hazed about in an unending blindingness. Lava oozed all around creating a heated soup of liquefaction. And as Gurthang ran closely followed by his comrades, he could only feel fear. The fear ate into him, becoming one with his mind, robbing him of all other thoughts. The fear seemed to control him, mimic him, make him him. And as he glanced about, he could see it on his comrades' faces. The fear was all around him. Unable to dissapate. And the only thing they could do as they approach the destination was talk, talk to ease the fear's grip. Srgt. Becker: I know we haven't a chance. But you's men's gotta give me's all you's got's. Is that clear? There was a peircing silence, then they reluctantly spoke up: All: Yes, sir! They all said, but the fear was still there. Gurthang could feel it, he could taste it. Srgt. Becker: Ya men see's over that there hill yonder? That's where the main fightin' is goin' on. Ready ya weapons! As they approached the hill, the rumbling of the ground increased. It was shaking so badly that Gurthang stumbled and almost fell. Once they reached the very top of the hill, they finally saw death staring them in the face. Srgt. Becker: Get ya weapons out, men! I know it looks bad, but ya can do it! Goooooo!!! With that they all quickly pulled out their automatics and ran down the hill. Gurthang could barely believe his eyes. It seemed the reports of the aliens had been true. A gigantuan ship edged the sky. It seemed to be bigger than the entire earth. And on the ground he could see numerous amounts of the aliens scattering about, firing at what little resistance remained. Gurthang knew for certain he would probably die. He was very certain. But all he could do was carry out his duty. Even if it meant death. The shaking down on the battlefield was even worse. Gurthang could barely keep himself in balance it was so bad. The smoke and lava was also worse. His vision only allowed him to see a few inches ahead of him. He spotted an alien and began firing: Gurthang: Die you bastard!!!!! The thing turned around as Gurthang let bullets fly like a swarm of bees from his gun. The bullets instantly obliterated the alien. And as he was walking over to the downed figure, a big moutain of lava edged out of the ground directly by him. He reacted, jumping out of the way. But it wasn't quick enough. A chunk of lava hit his arm as he hit the ground. Before he hit the ground he could hear that same fear finally coming outside. The fear seemed to be laughing at him, giving him a sour taste of bitterness in his heart. He didn't want to die. That was his last thought as gravity did its principle. He felt a brief moment of pain. A numbness which edged deep into the recesses of his mind. Then there was only a long blackness, blackness so black he could only hope to see light. Darkness...
Originally posted by BabyGirl Let's not all play righteous now and jump on Death Knight for his comment. You have to admit that it takes a lot of skill to be doing what this sniper is doing, not matter how horrible the consequences truely are. Ken is entitled to his opinion. I personally would be incredibly freaked out if there was a sniper on the loose in my neighborhood...eee..:nervous:
Just because it takes skill to be a sniper has absolutly NOTHING to do with this. Innocent people died for nothing, and if you someone thinks that that is cool, then they are really messed up. I did give him his opinion, even if it totally offended me I did. I mean posting something like that is just like saying: "Oh, here, hate me."

Do you think most teachers actually enjoy teaching all of the time? I know I wouldn't. Don't be so rude, if you don't like a teacher's teaching methods, get a different teacher of the same class or just live with it.
Originally posted by DeathKnight Dude, this serial killer is my god now. Finally- One that isnt leaving clues, and is just killing people. It took serial killers long enough to stop leaving clues, and to just kill at random. True skill and finesse. I love this guy, whoever he is. ^_^
DeathKnight, I really hope that was just sarcasm. Because if you want me to totally throw away all of the respect I had for you into the garbage, then this is how to get me to. Killing of innocent people in any form is just very bad. And it's even worse if it's some ignorant little outcast kid who doesn't even know what the hell life is about. I really hope that was sarcasm. Because if it wasn't then there's something really wrong with you for hating the world. Ok, I'm not going to flame you, I won't even go on...

Yup, there's already a quotes thread. If you want to get some quotes about men, just post this question in the thread instead of clogging the boards up with another variation of the same thread.

Name: Gurthang Race: Vampire Age: One-thousand-and-forty-five years old Weapons: Broad Sword, and Bloodmyst Amulet--An amulet taken from a long since dead Vampire King which was murdered at Gurthang's very own hand. It allows the wearer to become one with the air and become a barely noticable mist for a short amount of time. Bio: Gurthang is of royal linage to the great vampire lord known as Dracanas. Dracanas has long since been killed, at the hands of Gurthang. Gurthang then took the Bloodmyst Amulet, and took the crown as vampire lord of Lalaranth, a mighty kingdom. At 250 A.D., when Gurthang had been ruler of his land for over a millenium, a paladin knight came to his kingdom of Lalaranth. Gurthang's wife and children were slain, and Gurthang himself barely escaped with his life using the Bloodmyst Amulet. He has then since been plotting the death of the paladin knight, called Beatorn, and the retaking of his kingdom which Beatorn took from him. He then brought forth an army of darkness and began his plans of retaking Lalaranth. Gurthang then slowly made his way to the center of the kingdom, at the keep called Bangand, where Beatorn was hiding. One he had made his way slowly to Bangand, he then challenged Beatorn for the crown. And that is where our story begins...

Boba, it really depends on your personal experience with Video Games. If you like Final Fantasy, then stick with Sony. If you like Mario, stick with nintendo. If you like Halo, stick with Xbox, and so on. From my personal experience thus far with the PS2, I've really only enjoyed a few games. Most of the games these days just seem to be lacking, if only I could go back to the old days... Back on topic, I think the PS2 is an ok system. Not the best, because what really makes a system worth owning are good games. I'd still rather just shell out and buy some used PSOne RPGS like XenoGears and so on that I haven't played at this point in time. But, really, it's all up to your personal gaming experience.
