It was so ebarassing to watch and listen to that I actually got up and closed my door so no one would hear it lol.
I almost shut off my PS2, I couldn't stand it. Man that scene just left a really bad taste in my mouth...worst...gaming...moment...ever (almost)
  2. It was a good idea, but not all good things come out good. Half of the thread would've been arguing anyways, so I think it's best that James closed it. The bad outweighs the good, as James said.
  3. As for how the new gizmo looks compared to the old one--I'd say it looks better. But, I liked on the old one how you could click on say 'profile' on the image and it would take you there. And as for the reply buttons, they come up as an X like Gokents said for me to. But, really, the way those buttons looks or the site looks wouldn't change anything about this site.
  4. There is a 99.99% chance of this being closed. Look out below.
  5.
Originally posted by Wing Gundam I know who it is, Lady M.....am I right?
Nope. And I'm not giving anymore clues either. So go ahead and guess away. I think Lady M is awesome, I hate her by no means.
  6.
Originally posted by The Vampire: Ed Also, from now on profiles will only be created for people who have RPed at least once. All right, I think that's all that needs to be addressed.
You're talking if someone's posted on Project Gamer at least once, right? Well, I could use a profile if I could get one, I've already posted about three times, so yeah, I need a profile. I'm Megaman X by the way, if you can't remember.
  7.
Originally posted by Juuthena Exactly. As I learned from the last thread I started about bush... As long as mankind walks the Earth, there will never be peace...
That's exactly my point, why fight Sodamn Insane if another person will eventually just come along that's even more potent and evil than him. Because war is a waste of good lives, time, money, breath, lives (oh, I already said that)...anyways, that's my point that I was saying. There's always going to be some bad leader in the mix of good. Always. And if you want to test that formula...go right ahead...
  8.
Originally posted by James AnimeLover, I find that the story of FF games is what tends to be more similar than the battle systems. Final Fantasy X is a beautiful game...it's definitely a masterpiece in its own right. The Sphere Grid is absolutely brilliant (my favourite levelling up system EVER)...the battle system is also spot on. The characters are, for the most part, very well done. But the background story (in my opinion) leaves a little to be desired so far. Some of it is pretty predictable. Of course, it's not as bad as FFIX...but it's not the best Square have come up with. So, yeah...story is key. But if the core gameplay is no fun, then it's not worth bothering with. At least FFX is great fun to play...which makes the story less important.
The story for most RPGs is that either A.The world is going to be destroyed by a bad guy, B. A bad guy has taken over the world and you have to stop him...so yeah, I'd say the stories haven't been origional at times. But Square has done a wonderful job, at least with 1-7, in my opinion. As for FFX, yeah the Sphere Grid was a very intuitive idea. It worked greatly. The characters do leave more to be desired, and at times, like when Yuna and Tidus were lauging, it can be prettty stupid. It was a very well done game in its own right though.

  10. There's so much slang around the world I don't even know where to start. It also made me mad when snoop dog started saying 'izzle', then all these rappers did the same thing. Another thing I can't stand is the word ain't. I mean, it's in the dictionary now, but when someone says it, the second they do, they sound ignorant. Sizzle my dizzle chizzle, lol.
  11. Hmm, I thought this was going to be something different...well, here goes. 1. The person seems to be of intellect. 2. The person has some good points, when they actually want to make them. 3. The person seems to have made it through many hard problems of life. So...are people supposed to guess?
  12.
Originally posted by GinnyLyn  I think Sem meant to the top left. ^^; OK, fair's fair--the hooded person is the Bahamut fayth. In the staff "petals", from left, Ifrit, Shiva, Ixion, and in the middle circle, Valefor. Though I didn't expect anyone to be able to tell--just a sketch at this point. ^^;
I knew it was the fayth;)
  13. Woh, LM, that completly blew me away. It's one of the best things I've read ever. You should really write more...that was so powerful, so emotionally powered. That was really, really good. Man, I can't explain to you how much I emphasize with you...I also read Carrie to....
  14.
Originally posted by Cloud I've played every single one, and ever since FF7, there's been a hint of, well they're just not as orgional anymore.... Don't get me wrong, i adore the Final fantasy series, but they need a newstyle along with everything else, like FFT, it was a break from the normal FF game. From the screen shots i just saw, well atleast the first 4 or so, it reminds me greatly of fft, if you've ever watched the start like twice, it doesn't repeat it self, it tells about the character classes.
I know that they aren't original battle and magic system wise, but the stories have been pretty origional, as have the characters...anyways, yes, somethings in the span of the series have been redundant, but I think square has done a great job. As for FFT, I'm just playing through it, it's the most challenging FF I've ever played, and that's why I love it  . Anyways, you are right, it kind of does look like FFT...

  16. Very, very, very, very, very, very AWESOME. I wish I could draw like that, but wait, you probably wish you could write like me...err...it's so good though....wish I could even TRACE that good....:cross:
  17.
Originally posted by James lol...Oh don't get me wrong. I own FFX. And I adore it. I still think Final Fantasy VII is the most fleshed-out game in terms of story and characters. ^_^
What about Final Fantasy III(6 japan). Haven't you played that one before James. I'm certain you have...well, I think that's the best FF in terms of Characters and Story, followed very close, almost neck and neck with FF VII.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Personally, I am tiring of the FF games... so hopefully this will be something new and it will be done well.
How could anyone ever tire of the Final Fantasy series? I mean it's only the best RPG series out there...have you even played every FF Semjaza? As for how FF: Crystal Chronicles looks, well, it looks pretty good so far. But just by seeing some eye candy, I'm not sure--first I'll have to see the story. I'm really hoping Square will make remakes of old FF's for the GBA, though. That would be so awesome.

As he neared Raccoon City, Megaman had slowly dozed off again. He saw an oddly shaped hallway, as if it meandered from side to side unrealisticly. Four figures stood about the hall. Dr. Wily, a tall man wearing a tuxedo, a rather plump man, and Sigma. They were saying something to eachother, but what, Megaman couldn't hear. Then as they all stood, a sword suddenly emerged from out of the ceiling. A rather long sword it was as it came out, shimmering in the restricted hall light. It came down directy over the plump man, the plump man glared up at it, a look of fear upon his soccerball shaped head. A gloved hand then appeared, holding the sword. It was black. And as the sword went through the plump man, Megman's eyes slowly opened from his dream. Sweat stood upon his head through his helmet, pelting his face in a watery goo. The computer said he was at the outskirts of Raccoon City. Almost there, he thought. Almost there. Soon...
  21.
Originally posted by Lady Macaiodh this is one of those touchy subjects for me, one which i won't discuss b/c you will not be able to shut me up. i did, however, write an essay about this a few years ago for english class. it's pretty in depth, though, so i will only post it if there are requests. people probably don't want to know that much about me, anyway... (even though the reading of it did make people cry, lol).
Sure, I'd like to see it. If it made someone cry, it must state your opinion on this subject powerfully.
  22. Ok, first, before I get rolling on this topic, I'd like to give a definition of what conformity is. Conformity is correspondence in form, manner, or character. This basically means going along with something. Now, a while back in school, as we were reading Fahrenheit 451, we discussed this in English class. I thought it would be a good topic here so I brought it here. My basic question is do you believe Conformity is within our society even today? But you can expand upon it if you want. Of course I think so. It can be seen in small instances: wearing blue jeans, wearing a certain brand of clothing and so forth. It can also be seen in bigger instances, such as making a decision based on someone else's input, acting in a certain way because of the way your friends are acting. This one I see much in particular. People act like something that they are not in an attempt to get attention and be noticed by others. So what are your thoughts?

Just wondering... --Mike
I'd have to say yes and no. There are advantages, and there are disadvantages. But if I were to have to just give out a flat answer, I'd say no. Anyways, if someone can't get a Livejournal you can get one at www.ujournal.org for free. And it's just like Livejournal almost exactly.
  24.
Originally posted by Cera And maybe love is the key to happiness.
That's also kind of ironic in a way. Love can leave to much pain. Pain that lasts forever, never leaving you. Maybe I could also say Pain is the key to love in a way...
  25.
Originally posted by Lady Macaiodh but no matter how or why you lose someone you love... you feel like part of you is gone, too.
That's very true. Although I've never lost anyone I love, my parents have. And another thing, people always have this one certain thing that reminds them of his/her death, and brings back those tears of loss.
