Chris grimaced at the pain in his shoulder. Megaman X: Didn't you say...cuts and wounds transfer the virus? Chris frowned, and spoke: Chris: Yup, that'd be right my blue friend... Pac-Man: Isn't there...a..a..cure for it? Chris: Well, not that I now of. Maybe there is, you never know...them umbrella's pretty crafty. OOC:Sorry of shortness I gotta go to church school...
2.
Originally posted by sage Gah, do people really need THAT many examples? I don't think so... Me, too, think that deleting would be the best way. You can't even delete the thread you started and that was closed yourself. Why? Remember kids, that we do not live in the Middle Ages anymore, we do not need shame-punishments. And if it's the space that is the problem, wouldn't deleting be just the right answer? What would be a good change would be that moderators would unsharpen up their stingy tongues and actually close threads in NICE WORDS. Nobody All I want to say, that being a mod doesn't mean one has to be a *****.
Mods don't have any more power than a regular member. All they do is uphold the rules and stop those that abuse them for doing that. Also, at least when I close a thread, I by no means am mean. I usually try to just tell lightly why the thread is closed. You need to understand that mods are just regular people doing their assigned job. As for deleting the thread, I think no. It shows an example to new members what is right and what is wrong to post up on these boards, and just helps to enforce and show the way of the rules.
3. Yes...there was a topic about this when the news was talking about that meteor which had a chance of hitting us. Anyways, I would try to do my one dream--become a writer. If I could do just that, I would die with a reason.
4. These so called 'loves' all seem to selfish. If I had to choose on I would probably choose love for your country. I would choose it because I think having a sense of love and compassion for your country is what all citizens of a country should have. They should be able to feel something for all of the things a country has done for them in the past, and the future.
5. Can I have more than one character at once? If so, I would like to use Dr. Evil. Up to you, CWB ;)
Originally posted by Anna If you want anyone to take you seriously and not disregard your already weak opinions, self-contradiction isn't a good path to follow.:worried:
My opinions are by no means weak. But, think of me what you will. I know I can go a little overboard..but when I believe in something very strongly, I will state my opinion harshly even if it may offend someone. If you don't want my opinion, then ignore it instead of degrading me...thus ends my little speech of nothing...;)
7. Although the intentions of this thread seem good, I've read most of the posts, and this thread just doesn't have any of the deep, good, conversation some of the other recent ones have had. Not to mention a lot of this is just a few word posts which=spam. Closed.

I don't think custom titles are really a big issue...they are just another touch (small, I might add) that adds personality to that person behind their facade...so it really doesn't matter...I was wondering...what is your title when you get 5,000 posts...
9. Everyone has an opinion about everything, it's just those who chose to interpet their opinions who are most listend to. I think that if someone gives you the push in a correct direction as to how you can improve upon whatever they are critisizing, then you should accept it. I think critisim is a wonderful thing, it can help you see a different side to something, a different meaning, a different view. The thing is some people just won't accept something like that. They either misinterpet it or just don't take the time to register and see what someone else's thoughts are. Those people in a way are shutting the door for themselves to improve upon whatever it is they are trying to become good at.
Originally posted by (<AA>) So lets say that someones work is like HORRIBLE, it truly is, what would you say to him/her?
I myself would tell them that they have potential, and that everything takes determination, practice, good effort, and understanding to master. I would also tell them what they can do to improve, and what they are doing that is intuitive.
10. The first one seems rather...rusty...if I can say it that way...and the second one is great ;)
11. I enjoy reading, and writing. I write mostly poems, but I am at the moment writing a short story.

13. Your best work yet, D_A. I loved the beginning, but towards the end your writing style wasn't as good. Very well done besides my complaints.
14.
Originally posted by Vegitto4 You act like I suck. But w/e. I know it's not to great, but it was the best way to convey my emotion at the time. I like getting very descriptive, and someties it doesn't flow, but oh well. You win some, you lose some
Let me tell you this: No one sucks at writing. Any work of writing is wonderful, no matter how bad it is. As CWB said "You have to write bad before you can write good."
15.
Originally posted by Panny Chan ;) Oh, I wish the men that I knew thought like that!
You do right here!*points at himself* :stupid:
16. I found the gameplay is the only thing that made this game worth anything. I mean, the story was worse than, than...a really bad game :p Anyways, it was way to easy on easy, and a tad to challenging on hard for me. It had its intuitive ideas, but all in all it was a waste of time for me if I were to compare it to my other video gaming experiences.

Chris pointed at a room on the map. Chris: Well, there's the S.T.A.R.S room. We'll check that out first, that's the place where we'll be able to find some answers. I hope... Pac-Man: S.T.A.R.S. hmm...so what, did you work for them? Chris: That's a really long story, Paccy. I'll explain it later. First we need to get to that room. Chris put the map away, and they began approaching the office. They walked into a long hallway, a figure lay in a fetal position in the middle of the hall. They approached the figure, and Chris checked it for any ammo or weapons. Chris: Woh, this guy sure got unlucky, he looks like he got eaten pretty damn bad. Chirs searched one of the pockets of the man. Chris: Ah, lady luck sure is shinin'. He said, as he pulled out two more shotgun shells and a clip for his pistol. As he was slowly standing up, a slight noise rippled through one of the many windows about the hall. Pac-Man: Wha..wha...what was that... The noise echoed through the hall, louder this time. Chris: We've got company...stand away from that window. Chris pointed toward the window where the noise was coming from. He then pulled out his shotgun and loaded the two shells, holding the shotgun at the window as he did. Chris: Doesn't soun' like a zombie ta me. Probably a licker. The noise got louder and louder. The glass began to buckle from the weight of the creature. Cracks began forming in the glass, two cracks, three cracks, five, six, seven. And then the glass finally broke into shards, and a figure looking like a spider flew in in a blurr of motion.
21. here I'll make one up... If I If I were to become a slipping peel for you to view would you still see me through? If I were to become a flailing fall for you to rue would you still see me true? If I were to become what I have never grew would you still see me with clue? because if I were to change into more and sprout out a new view for you to explore I would still love you as I do evermore as I hold on tight to what is right and shower myself with life so deep that only I and you can forever keep even if it means it all because a wish is what I call and even if I do fall forever in life I will feel no more stall
22. This would be spam which is not allowed as it states in the rules. I suggest you read the rules throughly if you want to stay here.
23. Friendship is a very faulty thing. A fragile thing. One second you can totally understand a friend and be best of buds, and the next second you don't know who the heck they are. I myself only have about two good friends that I will ever talk to about personal matters. I find that most men keep their feelings bottled within themselves until the tension has ammounted to so high a hill that they have to release it out at something. I would qualify as that type of guy I suppose, but I usually let out all my negative feelings in poetry and writing. It seems to me that most men are really faulty when they talk about their feelings toward a more personal and intimate matter. They usually bend the truth into a triumpth over all of their negative feelings. So if you were to ask me--can man have friends?--I would say certainly, but most of those so called 'friends' would only be falsely placed in most cases.

Megaman X: And what is your name? Chris: Chris Redfield's the name. After they had greeted on another Megaman asked for the answers and Chris gave them: Megaman X: What in the hell is going on here, Chris? Chris: It has to deal with a pharmecutical company called Umbrella. Megaman X: A pharmecutical company did this? Chris: Yes, they developed a virus called the T-Virus. The virus mutates an ordinary human into those creatures--the zombies--which you have seen. It is transfered via cuts and wounds. Megaman X: Cuts and wounds, eh? Sounds pretty bad to me. Chris: That's not even the worst. They also have developed numerous other altered strains of the T-Virus, such as the G-Virus, and various others which we have yet to discover. Megaman X: You mean like that thing I ran into earlier, right? Chris: Yup, like our old pal Nemesis. Megaman X: Well, where are you headed? Chris: I thought that I would go to the Raccoon Police Department first, maybe there's some answers as to what is going on here in Raccon. Megaman X: Well, I'm in. With that the two walked away towards their destination.
