Name: Corey William Roos Age: 27 Appearance: Corey is about six foot and of medium build. He has fair muscle mass and is rather hairy. His eyes and hair are brown, though the latter is cut short. He wears his security uniform plus a red bandana that is just visible under his helmut. Unit: Security Specialty: N/A Weapon: Glock 9mm Bio: Corey grew up with his father, an abusive drunk that had a taste for physical punishment. He endured seventeen long years of abuse and finally left. He joined the police force and worked his way through the ranks. As it turns out, he had an unusually high accuracy with projectile weapons. Three years into his career as an officer of the law, he was promoted to the SWAT team. Five yeas later, making him twenty-six, Corey recieved a transfer order from his boss. He was to report to the airport and board a government controled plane bound for an indisclosed location. He agreed with a minimal amount of argument and rode that plane to yonder facility. Corey spent a year working as a security gaurd at the Black Mesa facility. He had to subdue a few people but nothing out of the ordinary. The pay was good. The food was ok. The best part was knowing that he was working somewhere that no one but him, and the people working there, knew about. Then it happened, and now the job has taken on a brand new objective. Survival.

Ah but the most of the other threads actually pose a educated question and have a starting post of more than four words. Plan on this getting closed. But... I personally like peanut donuts. The glazed ones with small peanut chunks plastered on them. Yum...

The house was big, as was already stated, and there were three people that were sitting in front of it. I looked closely as we pulled up. They went inside. My heart lept into my throat. The door. It was unlocked. I had instructed the caretaker to leave it unlocked for us. Thieves... I silently began powering up my crystal. A thin whine filled the car. Sakura looked around confused. Sakura- "Ryan? What's going-" I sped out of the limo and entered the house before the door swung closed. Everything was moving in slow motion. I could see the three people. If they were thieves, the were very unskilled. I walked around them, my crystal at half power. Ryan- "****..." It echoed through the slowed world. The people were my friends. Kaya, Jon, and Quita. I walked back out to the car while powering down my crystal. Sakura saw me walking out of the house and looked back in the limo. Sakura- "Wha? How?" I flicked my crystal and grabbed her bags out of the trunk. I felt very bad for confusing my own teammate with a thief. God, how could I be so stupid? Oh well... I walked into the house, for the second time. Ryan- "Hello? Anyone here?"

The worst I've ever been zoned out was in middle school, grade seven. I got zero sleep that night because I had a high fever. It broke at about four in the morning an slowly began coming down, By the time I got to school (big test. I would have went if I still had the fever) I felt a millon percent better but completely drained. After I finished my test I just sat there and stared out the window. I though only one class period went by. Three had.

I would call the generation of thoughts conditioning more than something that just happens. If I were to have grown up in the middle of the city sleeping next to drug dealers and murderers I would mosty likely not be thinking how I do now. If I were to have grown up in England or Canada I would most likely not think the same. I don't think you can classify free will as the ability to do anything and everything. I would call it the ability to think for yourself. If you would do anything you wanted you would probably end up behind bars. But you can choose not to do that. That is what free will is to me.

Ah Raiha... I've been waiting to be another RPG with you. :) Name: Nerok Lortar Gender: Male Age-group: Adult Race: Centaur Alliance: Auberon's Followers Appereance: Nerok wears a sparkling chain-mail of steel over his human portion. His eyes are green. His hair white. And his facial hair short. He holsters a sword over the right side of his horse portion. Biography: Before the Queen's affair with the human Nerok was a trusted general of both. He would maintain the order of the kingdom through force. It was a boring job, considering most of the country was a very well behaved bunch. A few thieves, a couple drunks, and even fewer mrders. It was a reletively nice place to be the law eforcement. Then the human came. The King and Queen split. The King to his palace and the Queen to hers. He pleged his allegence to the King long ago, so Nerok went with him. He was very sorry to leave his Queen but could not destroy the honor he carries inside.. Everytime he engages in battle and destroy one of her soldiers he feel it in his heart. How he hate to fight...

OOC: Whatever: 9-20-86 ~~~ This was insane! This was getting way too strange. I couldn't deal with this. I stood slowly and walked away from the group. I was better off with my family. At least they didn't lift me in the air. The woods welcomed me. They did not hurt me, nor did they scare me. I wandered into them without alerting the group in the slightest.

How I wish I could fit DE into my scheduel. *sigh* I'll be working, probably too much. Hanging out with my friends. Reading the three AP textbooks I'm being issued monday. And hopefully getting better at street and dirt BMXing.

The plane touched down and my stomach gave a lurch. Landings were far worse than takeoffs. You could see the ground flying towards you rather than watching it dissapear. I leaned forward and gripped my face. It was cold and clammy. Sakura looked over at me. Sakura- "Are you ok?" I nodded feverishly. Ryan- "Just a little motion sick... It'll pass when we get off the plane..." The gate was connected to the terminal and we departed. The airport looked crowded, even for an airport. There were far to many non-asian people to be normal. They must all be here for the tournament. I watched a man stumble past us looking quite high. I laughed to myself and led Sakura to the main concourse and then outside. A man was holding a sign that read 'Schezar'. I smiled and we walked over to him. My sickness had passed. Driver- "Mr Schezar?" I nodded. "Just to make sure, what kind of crytal do you have on?" I grinned. Security was already tight and the tournament hadn't even began. Ryan- "A Subsonic Crystal." I pulled it off of the neck ornament and showed it to him. He nodded and opened the door to the sleek black limo behind him. "Thankyou." We both climbed in and began our ride to the home of the Hyper Speed Knights.

OOC: I think it would be best if everyone reads every single post. It will stop confusion and stop the clutter these 'OOCs' make. ~~~ I turned and looked over the twelve that stood before me. A few promised battalions of warriors. Others their own service. I walked up to Wilhelm and whispered in his ear. He nodded suspiciously. Ryan- "My friends, if I may call you so. We are now one force fighting against one force. But, we are different. We have determination on our side. We will not lose!" My voice rose considerably on the last word. An shout of agreement rang from ten mouths. "I now maky you all generals in the war. Each one of you will be given warriors. Each one will have certain missions. This war will not be held solely on the battlefield." My eyes shifted to Wilhelm. "It will be waged from the inside aswell. We are True Humans. We will not fall." Shouts of excitement and bloodlust filled the air. Lorn stepped to my side. He whispered in my ear very faintly. Lorn- "Sir... It's waking up. We best hurry." I nodded. Ryan- "Fetch the beast." I clapped my hands and they began to quiet down. "We will begin this war here and now. Each of you should find a dagger sewn onto the bottow of your chairs. These signify your participation as generals in this war." They each made their way to the chairs and took their weapons. "Each is encrustd with a Blood Ruby. These specific rubies are obtained from the heart of a dead dragon. My people and I went though much trouble to get them. Today will be the first time blood has touched the blades. Ready yourselves. Bring it in Lorn." Lorn appeared tugging a cart of sorts. On the cart was a covered cage. The black linen ruffled with each breath the thing underneath took. "Take the covering off." The back cloth fell away to reveal a baby dragon, asleep. Gasps issued from behind me. I pulled a Blood Ruby encrusted sword from a cheath on the cart. "I will be the first. You all must follow, or you will leave. Show me you are dedicated to this." My usually calm face flared with hatred. I raised my sword and shoved it deep into the creatures side. It howled in pain but could not retaliate. It's mouth and body were bound. I pulled out the sword, now dripping with blood, and looked at the others. My eyes gleamed. "Show me..."

OOC: Very sorry for not getting here sooner. ~~~ I stood at the door to the meeting chamber and bowed my head. This meeting was going to decide the fate of the world. I could hear them growing impatient. It was important to put my words correctly. One small slip and I could be killed. I'm a strong man, but not an invulnerable one. I inhaled deeply and opened the door. One man snuffed and I heard him whisper 'Bout time...' My chair was red, with a black design running up and down the cusions. I sat and looked around our little group. Some single people. Others representing groups. About twelve in all. All were welcome. Ryan- "My brothers and sisters, welcome to this humble place. I hope that you all know what we are here to discuss." Every head nodded. "Good. Then we can begin deciding the business at hand. Lorn, the torches please." He nodded and began putting out the torches. They each went out, leaving a little less light in the room. "Thankyou. This," I waved my hand and a map of the world appeared, "is our land. We have ruled it for generations. Our less active brethren held power as Kings or Queens. What do we see now?" The image rippled as false fire spread across it. "The so called protectors of this world have enslaved it. They use their status as saviors to destroy anything that stands in their way." A smile spread across my face as the torches began coming back on. "We are here to decide war. I will not have a simple 'aye' or 'nay' decision. I want each and everyone of you to be completely sure of what you are doing. Once you say yes, you cannot change your mind. I will not allow it. You are either in this for the entire thing," I scanned the room, "or not at all." Each one of them was deep in thought. A woman spoke up first. Chyrice- "I will join this war. My reasons are my own, but I assure you my and my armies allegence." I took her hand, kissed it and walked her over to the rear of the room. A man stood next. Tom'Mas- "The monsters have been a long standing menace to my land. My knights and I will fight till the end." I shook his hand and embraced him. He walked to the back of the room. Eight others followed, three women and five men. Only two were remaining. I smiled and my eyes twinkled. Ryan- "Arrianna. I remember you. You've been here before. Welcome back. And you Wilhelm, it's nice to see you again. How have you two decided?"

I slid the gauntlets onto my arms. They felt good. They always did. Steel. They were steel. The insides were lined with leather. The outsides were steel. Four foot spikes extended from the sides of my gauntlets on the outside forearm segments. They were magically enchanted. The spell Dragon Bane. It worked quite well when combined with a physical weapon. It could slice through scale as easily as butter. Lorn- "Schezar. The meeting has started." I looked up and eyed Lorn with a grateful gaze. Ryan- "Thnakyou. I'll be out shortly." We were a secret group. A group of warriors dedicated to ridding the world of the Dragon menace. I stood up and slid into my red ceremonial robe. This would be the deciding factor. This meeting would decide war, or at least we could hope.

OOC: No one has said anything about where the tournament is. I'll remedy that. ~~~ The airplane was in the air. We were steady at about fifty thousand feet, and I was opening my package of pretzels. I wish they would still give out peanuts, but so many are allergic to the wonderful legume. Ah well. i popped one in my mouth and imagined it to be a very crunchy nut. Sakura- "Wow..." I let Sakura have the window seat. Ryan- "Never been flying before?" She tugged her gaze away from the window and looked at me hapily. Sakura- "No. I've flown before... But never this high..." I leaned over and looked out the window. We were quite high above the ocean. I could see white-capped waves very faintly below. Even fainter were the gulls. We mst be nearing land. Ryan- "It is quite the sight. Are you hungry yet?" I eyed the stuardess moving up the first class aisle. Sakura- "What's on the menu?" I picked up the laminated piece of paper from the small pocket on the side of my seat. Ryan- "Ummmm... Potroast... A vegetarian dish... And a chefs salad. Anything catch your eye?" She shook her head. "Yeah. Me neither." Sakura went back to gazing out the window. The stuardess came up to our seats. Stuardess- "May I get you anything?" I smiled at her. Ryan- "Nope, we're fine." She nodded and contiued down the aisle. We'd be in Japan soon.

First impressions are cr*p. Most of the time you will get somone trying to act cool or try to act like someone else simply because who they really are isn't the ideal. I never take first impressions to heart.

I watched the limo pull into the parking lot closest to the gate we needed. It parked and one of my employees, Alan Liney, steped out. He grabbed Sakuras bag from the trunk and opened her door. She stepped out with a look of wonder on her face. She thanked Alan and took the bag from him. He gave her a courteous little bow, something I had always forced him not to do, and re-entered the limo. It drove off. Airport Intercom- "Flight 567 to the Crystal Fighting Tournament will begin boarding shortly." I frowned and looked at the time. I was hoping for a little food before we got in the air. Airplane food, even first class, wasn't too apetizing. I walked out of the airport. Ryan- "Sakura!" I waved. She turned and looked at me, a little shocked. She waved back and made her way over too me. Sakura- "Hey Ryan! When's our flight?" I took her bag and we made our way inside. Ryan- "Boarding just began before you got here. I guess we won't have time for food." Sakura- "It's ok. I'm way too excited to eat!" I nodded and pointed at a gate. Ryan- "That's ours." Sakura- "Then we should probably go." She gave me a mischivous little smile and began walking toward the gate without me. I laughed and walked after her.

My phone rang with the same ring tone. I hated it so much. Despite all of technilogical know-how, I still couldn't change the ring on my damned phone! I picked it up quickly, not wanting to listen to it any longer. Ryan- "Schezar." There was nothing for a long moment. I almost hung up. Kaya- "Ryan?" I smiled and contiued walking toward the airplane gate. The flight was in about two hours. The limo should be pulling up in front of Sakura's house very soon. I shot a glance at my watch. 6:57 Ryan- "It's me Kaya. What's up?" Kaya- "I have some good news! Jon and Quina decided to come!" I smiled wider. Ryan- "I knew they would. I'll have the rooms made. I take it you and Jon will want adjoining rooms." Silence on the other end. Kaya- "Yup." I nodded, even though I was on the phone. Ryan- "Ok. See you later." I hung up and pocketed my phone. Hopefully Sakura wouldn't be late.

Thick red smoke swirled around the room. The spell was almost complete. Only a few more incantations. I stood and sliced my right hand, for the fifth time, with a serrated knife. The blood dripped down into the pool. Ryan- "Morhital Norsciptae Fentard Lilldevai." My blood spread rapidly throughout the pulsing white water. It turned it a deep red, very close to black. Gigantic plumes of blood-stained water shot into the air. A swirl of fluid hung suspended directly above me. I held my hands up to it, welcoming it. Slowly, it began to decend. I could smell the coppery scent of blood. Small drips landed on my face, stinging it, and still I welcomed it. It first absorbed my hands. The pain was terrible, but nothing compared to the result. It went past my shoulders. I could taste it. My waist. By the Gods did it burn! It sunk into the floor with a squeel of fluidity. I doubled over. The spell was finished. I watched the liquid seep into my skin. I felt the power rise inside of me right away. I had done it. The spell had worked. I was a Stormscape Master.

OOC: I guess I'll use black since it wasn't specified above. ~~~ Ryan- "Tell me more." The man had just come from the realm of fire. He was one of mine. I needed not worry about lies. I would kill him if I even suspected one was told. Dale- "Be kind noble one! I tell only what I know!" I looked him over. He was of fair build. His eyes were frightened. Fear was coming off him in waves. I could smell it. And I liked it. Ryan- "Then tell me more. And be more careful this time." He nodded furiously and began kneading his hands together. He was nervouse. Dale- "I was looking for brimstone... There are quite a few deposits there. We use it for weaponry... I was... I was just inspecting a nice chunk for quality when... When I saw it!" I nodded and motioned for him to continue. "A bunch of 'em!" His voice rose hideously on the last word. "A bunch of... kids. One had the Rod! The Rod m'lord! I saw it with my own eyes!" I nodded and rubbed my chin. This was good. The prophecy was beggining to play itself out. Soon I would rule this world. Ryan- "Wire fifty thousand credits to this mans bank account. He has done well." I looked right into his eyes. "Don't go too far Dale. I may call on you again." He nodded furiously and snuck out of the room. I turned to one of my associates. "Shoot him as soon as he clears the building." The man began speaking into a radio and left my office. A few minutes later, I heard a gunshot. I smiled. Death was the only constant in my life. And how incredibly fun it was to deal death out. Random killings were the most enjoyable. The ones that died did not expect it. The stunned look on their faces, it sends shivers up ones spine. I pushed a display on my desk. A computer slowly rose from the desktop. It switched on and displayed a dozen different sattelite imaging systems. I selected the one over the Fire Realm and instructed it to scan for any abnormal readings.

It's pretty nice. Kind of plain but still appealing to the eye. *wonders what the background is*
-
My head was reeling. This I could not cope with. Dissapearing houses. Reappearing forests. Missing entrances. Randomly appearing people that quote the Divine Comedy! Corey- "I can't handle it!" I dropped to my knees clutching my head. Something clanged on a rock next to me. I caught a shine of something metalic. What in the world was strapped to my back? A sword... The answer came as easily as water from the ocean. Why did I have a sword? Ravwrin- "Corey..." I turned my head sharply and glared at her. Corey- "Keep back! Something's wrong with this place! Something's happening!" Starr began to walk up to me. "Stay away I said! You! You brought us here!" The world swam before my eyes. But... Something was different. I looked around again. Dispite the utter wierdness of the situation, I could see everything clearly. Both of my eyes were normal. I held my hand up in front of my face. "My... Eye..." The world gave one final lurch and I went face first into the dirt.

I'm just one big European Mutt. I'm not really a minority, unless you count my obsession with wearing blood in small vials around my neck. *shrugs*
-
When was the happist moment of your life? *Looks Around* I'm damn happy right now. :) When was the most pressured monment? I'd have to say about three months ago when someone tried to get me to hold drugs for them. They were a really good friend of mine. It took so much will power to say no. As it turns out. Our friendship ended. When was the saddest? It'd have to be when one of my good friends recently died. I got over it, but it took awhile.
-
I had that mindset for a good year. My first year of highschool, in fact. I did nothing but obsess over this one stunning girl. She had it all. Mind. Body. Brains. Everything. Toward the end of the year, we got together. We had a fun few weeks, but it ended. I wasn't sad. As it turns out, she wasn't what I thought. I had this perfect picture of her and it turned out to be all wrong. She wasn't perfect. My advice to you, if you really want Adam, go after him. You may have fun, for a while. But, you'll also miss many more opportunities (i.e. Todd). I kind of wish that I hadn't have went after my perfect girl. Later, I found out that someone else really liked me. I felt very bad. I would have had a much better go with the someone else.

~Thanks. I am going to be taking a few artistic liberties with my bio. His skin is very pale and his build, medium. His eyes are a very dark blue. He keeps his facial hair down to a mere stubble. 6'2". Bio: "Forsake technology. Take up your sword and demolish the world." These are the words that Ryan has lived with since his birth. He was pre-destined to be the destroyer of this world. Nineteen years of non-stop training. No time for play. No time for friendship, companions, or love. Puberty was a flurry of hateful emotions and sword lessons. Childhood was an expance of physical training. But it has all payed off. Rumors of the rod have been flowing in far from his home. Soon. Soon it would be his. And the world would weep.
