Blog Address: outsidemichigan.blogspot.com Blog Name: Dreamsicle Life [discontinued] Lime Jello [discontinued] Cera/Sara/Girl [current] Der Schmetterling [current] Yes, I think four is enough.. I've tried online journalling in the past, but it never really worked--I kept a journal religiously for five years, and adding online writing to that just never worked out. When my regular paper journal sort of...dissolved...I tried online journals again. I started my first "long-running" (relatively) blog last August, and have had one or another going since then. It's nice to have an easy means of putting thoughts out there. I had two blogs going for a while...slightly different purposes, but they ended up being similar enough that having two was redundant. I also ended up feeling that I was writing more for others than for myself, and that had to stop. I discontinued Eccentricity (dreamsicle life) and Lime jello and started another, semi-secret one. (With a layout I've been too lazy to modify since Day One, although the header image was only supposed to be up for a day or two...but that's another story.) Right now I have three "current" blogs. One's not up there, and I really don't know whether I'm going to be giving the address out or not. It's mostly poetry, and giving out the url seems to be inviting criticism that I don't really want/need. (Before anyone claims that one can always use criticism, it's just a writing exercise for myself. And a bit of an excuse to use a "punny" title I've had in my head for a while.. But anyway!) I've found Blogger to be very convenient--lets me host my plethora of blogs without getting too confusing, has an easy-to-update system, etc. Yeah, heh. I bugged Shy till he (finally!) started posting in one. I read various blogs--I mostly link to them from other people's blogs. (I'm too lazy to keep an updated list on my template..) It can be rather strange reading things you're sure weren't meant for you, but if it's on the internet, I suppose it's fair game. A rather unnerving thought. ^_~

I have driven on the freeway...twice. I'm still really uncomfortable driving, and I worry about the mental stability of the man who decided I passed my road test.

Okay, going to sleep, now...

I've always loved this stuff, and I never was sure...how to do it. I've ended up just working in whatever photoshop-ish program I have at the moment. (Although I've been told that's cheating...) Spiffy on both counts. Better than my first tries. *attempts to burn floppy disk* As for the one Dk-dth posted...yeah--that stuff just blows my mind. ^^;

Limitates? Heh. I like the pixelly maze thing in the corner there.

Fortune telling? Only thing I can think of. Who was Nike?

There is one teacher that I love. I had two of his classes this year.. It was great. I had him for AP US History and Theology III. He's very intelligent, and really a great teacher. He knows what he's talking about, and I just really enjoyed his classes.

It makes me think of an ad for a dishwasher, or a garbage disposal. Rather mundane, yes...but it looks cool, anyway.

This is one I made a few months ago.. I had fun with all the little character tiles.

Writing A couple poems. Don't hurt me if there're bad.
Sara replied to Kitsune_Girl's topic in Creative Works
They're not bad. Some of the rhymes seem kind of forced...like you're trying to keep rhyming, and are completely at a loss for a word that makes sense. -
Google searches can do wonders. ^_~ Here is one page I found. There are a several versions, and no seems to be quite sure where it came from. This lists a few of them.

Writing Dynasty Warriors: The new generation ( Fan Fic. story )
Sara replied to G/S/B Master's topic in Creative Works
Run it through spellcheck. After the dialogue begins, you should stop with the italic narrating, and just write what's going on in the same manner you write who's saying what. It's a kind of short to do say anything else, although maybe you're moving a little fast. -
I'm not familar with that person's works... I like it very much, although I can't put my finger on why. Do you have a reason?

That's sweet. Little kids can be wonderful. (They can also be annoying, but that's not the point.) Did you write that for class?
-
That's a bit different. I'd vary the prose a bit...you have many short sentences, try alterating longer and shorter ones. It makes it easier to read. Are you going to continue this?

It's not a bad poem. However, playing a guessing game with everyone isn't going to help you. If you want to talk, talk...if you don't, don't ask people to pull it out of you.

I thought I posted here.. I guess I didn't. I like this, probably more than any of the other pieces I've seen from you.

People use it to mean "cute." Rather intensely cute, actually.

No...that's why they're archives.

That is pretty good. I like the rose; it seems delicate. And that is impossible to manage with pencil, so..yeah. Good job there, heh. Eh, I just like it. Morbid, perhaps... *looks faintly amused* My school would probably send me to the guidance office...again...if I did that for art. And what's that in the corner?

It wasn't replaced quite so much as...er...well, Fiction was discontinued, and Arena showed up... Huh. I guess it was replaced. You're more than welcome to post any writing in OB's fiction/literature forum. ^_~
